Indian bank Charged around Rs.650/- from my salary account stating "Withdrawl Transfer Charges for excess Debit entries during 2012 2013".
Will ATM with drawls, Neft transfers & Online payments comes under these debit entries? If so, Is there a limit for Debit transactions?

Other than providing reward points for the Purchases, will the charge us for the transactions?

      In thanjavur, there are a lot of indian bank customers...But in Indian Bank(Tanjore Junction Branch) there is no good response for customers...
      1. And Mainly No Token system for deposit or withdrawl money in tanjore junction branch Indian Bank...
      2.If the officer are free they response for our work...i.e.casual response..
      3.Inside of the bank we can notice "SERVICE WITH SMILE" is fit in the wall....But no good service and also no smile with their service...Always harsh to customers....
      4.After applying ATM card or any necessities they take more time (20 days to borrow ATM card from them)
      5.This is most important thing...In Thanjavur the Indian Bank ATM center are so less limited...
      6.Indain Bank ATM center is less and always it under problem...The list of problems
      6.1. I occuring day by day no cash in ATM.(mainly in tanjore junction branch ATM center) or closed or no service message
      6.2.The ATM center is locked, if i works the receipt is not available(Mainly in Mangalapuram branch)...
      6.3.Always closed and not working condition(Tanjore Convent ATM center)
      6.4.No cash (EAST GATE Thanjavur ATM center)...

      Note : I complaint to customer care about the ATM also it shows same problem for the past one year....
      Mainly in Tamilnadu The government employee eating the people's money without doing any work

      I am asking one question Then wat F>>K are you running Indian Bank and cheating the customer....

        I am Dinesh B from Kachirapalayam , I owing an Indian Bank Account with no[protected] and i requested for net banking . They provided a secret login password on 02/01/2013 . They told me that it was activated but when i try to access that , it shows an Error:109 Inactive or Pending activation error . So i contacted Indian Bank Kachirapalayam Branch Manager , he says that it will be activated within today(05/01/2013)...

        Dear sir,

        Today, Saturday (22/12/12) I had to withdraw an amount from my account in Indian Bank. I went to the Bank at 10 am and struggled till 12 noon and returned home empty handed. Initially they said that my signature did not turn up when they entered my account number in the system ( I could not help with this, its their duty to maintain my details). Then was asked to see every employee of the bank for some reason or the other. Finally, when it became 12 noon, they said the bank is closed for the day and said me to come on Monday.

        I am frustrated with what has happened to me today. Its my money which I am trying to withdraw and not theirs, if they cannot work wholeheartedly on a Saturday, better don't come to work on a Saturday rather than coming for namesake.

          Respected Sir,

          I am Anto Michael Thomas, I am working for Sun Shine Info Tech Coimbatore and deputed to client location in Chennai.. I have account in Indian bank, Account no: [protected], Branch: KMCH Goldwins, Coimbatore for salary. For the past three months our organisation is transferring the salary through their current account with Indian bank for my salary with proper written letter format. I have disclosed that letter format with this mail. While transferring the salary, the description column should be Salary- Sun Shine Info Tech Nov 12, But for this the manager is making as check transfer. For the past three months I am talking with the manager regarding this, every month he used to say next month he will do the same(Salary- Sun Shine Info Tech Nov 12) but its not happened. Because of this I am not able to submit the statement.

          For last month salary they made it today, same way he mentioned as check transfer. I called him and talked about this, he is saying I want to start the account in other bank or with other branch I want to try.

          Even after starting the account for more than one and half months he had not given the ATM card and the online account documents. When ever I asked about this, still its not came. Later I gone directly to the bank their I able to find all the documents with ATM card.

          Because of this I can't able to submit the statement for the deputed organisation, its affecting my career.
          Here I disclosed the manager contact number:[protected] and landline no:[protected]. Please take the necessary steps and change my salary description as our organisation had given in the written statement . Please do the needful help.

            I have applied for net banking facility for my account as well as mother's account. After lot of questionaries finally the bank official received the application form. didnt process it... after two weeks i went for the PIN mailer. then only he raised the request. later after two weeks i got the PIN mailer, but the bank people not yet activated the account. I lost my patience. Kindly give me idea to teach them a lesson please..

              I am saving account holder in Indian Bank AC- SB[protected] and opened my account 2 years back in the janakpuri, c-26/27, community centre, janakpuri branch.
              I am trying to get my the ATM card and Net Banking user name and password but the bank service are so poor that after applying 5 time they always say that you have to apply again.
              Now I am thinking to shift my account to private sector bank.

                  Sub: fake note rs. 500 / - found in indian bank atm @sjt, vit university. This atm is associated with indian bank, vit branch, vellore.
                  On 09. 08. 2012, i withdrawn rs 24, 000 / - from the ib atm located in sjt @ vit campus. Among that one note is fake note. Attached is the image of the same. When i went to deposit the same amount at hdfc, they said one note is fake. When i approached, the manager of the indian bank, he said nothing can be done. I am writing this, to create an awareness that this atm has issued fake notes. Just imagine a poor man, who happend to get this 500. 00 thru this atm, why nationalized bank is allowing this type of fake notes in a reputed place. No customer service, repsonse, repect in this branch too. . God helps.

                      Yesterday Morning I withdrawn amount of 1800 from Indian Bank. I went to karur vysya Bank to deposit the same amount. There they confirm me that one of the 500 rupee note is fake. So, I came back to Indian Bank and said that I got fake note from your Bank. They are not responding me properly and even they are blaming me. Please suggest me that where to complaint on the Bank.

                        On 30th July at 10:45 - 11:00 PM around, I have tried to withdraw money using our Indian Bank ATM Card from HDFC ATM machine located at [Address : Shop No 2, Arjun Aashiyana Station Road Ulhasnagar Thane-421003 Maharashtra India] however transaction timed out, with no money returned back nor does the transaction failed statement. We have waited their for 5 minutes but no success

                        The account belongs to my mom, Mrs Manju A Ramnani.

                        We then tried with another ATM machine nearby of Central Bank of India, we have successfully withdrawn RS 5000/- from that machine and then noticed some discrepency in account balance. Next day, My mom went to Indian Bank CST Mumbai branch (as she works in CST Mumbai) to update her passbook entry & she noticed RS 5000/- + RS 20/- debited twice from her account.

                        We complained this to Indian Bank,CST Branch but they advised us, as account belongs to Ulhasnagar Branch, this issue can be handled by them.

                        We directly called Indian Bank Manager o[censored]lhasnagar Branch on his cell & provided him with the details, he said we need to come in personal and have to submit written application to them.

                        My mother had to take a half day leave from her office and went to Indian Bank,Ulhasnagar branch to submit written application as advised by Branch Manager.

                        It was really very disappointing to see that bank was not in a position to provide us the information about the failed transaction at first place as they dont have any record that provide transaction status, where transaction took place and if it was successful or not.

                        We have submitted the application to Indian Bank, Ulhasnagar Branch on 1st August, 2012. Bank branch officer has advised us, that it would going to take 8 days to identify this matter, they were not at all sure if the amount will be credited back to our account.

                        SO DOES THIS MEAN OUR GOVERNMENT BANKING SYSTEMS STILL NOT CAPABLE TO IDENTIFY THIS KIND OF GLITCHES/ISSUES ???
                        SHOULD WE NOT TRUST GOVERNMENT BANKS ATM FACILITY TO WITHDRAW MONEY ?

                        I have faced similar issue with my HDFC Bank account, on the spot my failed transaction amount credited back at that moment itself.

                        I request consumer complaint authorities to please look into this issue and help me to resolve this.

                        I am not posting my mom's bank account details for security reasons.

                        I "sarla devi" have an account in State Bank of India, I want the atm facility with my account but my local barnch in not providing this facility to me but this facility is available with my local branch.

They deduct only Ist installment of my R/D. I entered complaint with the sight of Indian Bank but they are also not doing any thing. so see the matter.

                              My Father Sri P C Dhar ; Retd Deputy Secretary ;Govt of Assam and holder of Pension Acc no [protected] in SBI ; New Ballygunge (Haltu ) Branch ; Kolkata was trying to withdraw his pension for the month of August from ICICI ; Guwahati Branch ATM on 31.08.09
                              Even though the transaction at ICICI stated "Transaction Declined"; Mini Statement showed that an amount of Rs 11,000/- has been debited from his pension account.
                              We have faxed the details to the subject SBI Branch (Ph no[protected] and fax[protected] but not getting any favourable response, This is causing us undue harrasment specially for my 74 year old father.
                              We request you to kindly attend this case on priority as the festive season is drawing near and it will help us immensely .

                                I made payment of my electric bill from my S/B account on 8/7 2012.I did not get any confirmation of payment nor is my account debited off of the amount.The Besant Nagar Indian Bank Branch refuses to answer any phone calls.My online complaint (ID[protected] has also gone unanswered.This is the bank with the most pathetic staff and worst customer service.These guys should not ever attempt a net banking service as they don't know how to handle it.

Got the LOGIN access but no transaction password was given to me. i have been walking on every week for almost 3 months but there simple response is " If you get the sms you wil be getting your password " for that too i said i havent got any and they asked me wait for another week for the sms to come. I dont understand what workaround is going on without knowing what the system is . Even the Manager not considered ,thats the big frustration

                                    I went this morning to enquire about educational loan, manager of nungambakkam branch was not willing to help me the details.He shouted at me using filthy words in front of so many people around.I was very polite and asked what kind of documents are required as this is the first time i am requiring educational loan.He did not answer any of my questions rather he said that "I am wasting his time".In short, he is not fit to be a manager and his response to customer was ridiculous.I am completely hurt by his behaviour in front of so many people around.Kindly request you to take necessary action against him so that the customer do not face such difficulties in future which also spoils the impression of the bank.Thank you

                                      Whenever i go to the bank to get my mother's passbook entered, i find laziness in staffs working there, they lack seriousness in their job, it takes around one hour to get the passbook entered with just 5 or 6 people standing in front of me in the queue. If this complaint resolved it would help the public to help the organisation work better and in keeping up the prestige and good name of INDIAN BANK.
