When you made the payment you must have come across three options for payment gateways Paypal, CC Avenue, HDFC. Please confirm at which payment gateway you had made the payment at so that we can investigate with the particular payment gateway.

planet india/rakhi gift — product not delivered

i have purchase one rakhi gift of rs499 plus shipment charge rs 50 for my sister from planet india through rediff online shopping on 1 st august 2009.
but till today my sister has not recieved the item. on tracking the order status on rediff website i found that product was delivered on 6ht august 2009 through aramex courier pvt limited. i enquire about this to aramex with consignment number whichwas provided by rediff shpping and surprise to hear that there was no consignment with this number. i contacted to rediff customer care executive over phone and email them twice but no initiative has not been taken so far . so what should i do now. my order number is 5521358. vender name -planet india, 54, rashi apartmentplot- 3, sector-7, dwarka, new delhi-110075.
phone [protected]. please look into the matter and guide me to get my item or refund my money.

I had asked India gifts portal to deliver some sweets for karwa chauth.. and they gave a casual excuse for not delivering it on time.. the whole point of delivery of sweets was so that fast can be broken. The order was placed one week in advance, still delivery was not proper..
hopeless site.. will never use again and strongly recommend against such crap service to my friends.

    My disappointment has no bounds as first a completely different rakhi was sent to my brother from what i had ordered (picture attached)

    The rakhi sent was sub-standard and unacceptable and it didn't resemble the one i selected and paid Rs.779.51/- for. however, after lodging a complaint with the company i was reassured by them on 26th july that the correct rakhi would be re-sent to my brother before rakshabandhan... but I am surprised that the same still hasn't reached my brother till date (17th aug). I have been cheated not once but twice. I am completely shocked by the way this Organization operates.

    I am deeply hurt as I feel my sentiments were not respected. With this note I eagerly await your response on what i can do to make sure that other consumers are not cheated in the same way by Indian Gifts Portal.

    Completely agree with you, this happened to me also while i did shopping from rediff site. they are displaying something and sending different items, which is far below in quality. n when i lodge the complaint they just told that the item which was displayed on site was out of stock. I found indiatimes shopping much better.
    No one knows or guide what can be done, the best way i use to do is post maximum negative message for that vendor on the site review panel so that another consumer will read it n b aware of such frauds.
    I sent a $75 remote controlled car as a surprise gift and they spoilt the surprise with a damaged, used crappy product. What they had on the site was not what they shipped and it was damaged. The damage was not by the shipper, the box was intact. They had the nerve to ship a damaged returned item. I have been trying hard to talk to a person. Asif Jafar sends emails once every 2 days and the just talks of return and replacement. But given the product is probably worth $10 -- looks like a cheap car you buy on roadside, I do not want to pursue that. They will not answer calls and in short they suck.

    yes i agree one hundred percent. indian gifts portal is a scam. BEWARE!!!
    Indian Gifts Portal are cheater and I am surprised that they donot have any telephone Numbers if you want to contact them.

    This is horrible and never try ONline Shopping. Police also does not help.

    INDIA IMAGE IS BECOMING WORST AND IF THIS CONTINUES ALL THE PERSONS WILL TAKE THE LAWS INTO THEIR HAND.

    HOORIBLE INDIA ONLINE BUSINESS.

    The same thing happend to me.I Ordered 2 Birth day gifts to my friend in US on May 3, whose order number is IGP217281 but they didn't deliver. I sent a mail to Asif Jafar and requested to refund my money but they delayed for 1 month and now they are saying we requested for a refund, we don't know enquire with your Bank and then they stop responding.Upto now neither delivered any goods nor refunded money I lost my money.If these thing are going on how can a person feel safe to send gifts through online????
