Sir, I had booked Cylinder from Indane Gas, Chennai through toll free number in the last week of June, 2011. After verification of status of delivery of Cylinder on 25.7.2011, I have been informed that the Cylinder was delivered on 09.7.2011 through Sabha Gas Agency, No,.51, Maduvakarai, Guindy, Chennai-32. But so far no Cylinder has been delivered to my home so far. My Consumer Number is 48375. The said M/s. Sabha Indane Gas Agency has not at all attended phone calls inspite of dialing calls from my end. Their services are very very poor. I further assumed that the Cylinder allotted to be delivered to my home might have been delivered to some where by the said Gas Agency. The Agency Phone Nos are[protected] and[protected]. Please arrange to deliver the cyliner immediately to my home address as below immediately as existing Gas is also exhausted from Cylinder.

I have not got the delivery of my cylinder i hail from Guwahati in Ulubari Area and the agent of the company is not delivering the cylinder even after 15 days of pre booking. My consumer no is 21739.

    My IOC Consumer No. : 32877
    1. In the month of June I booked, Booking No. is 231160. During delivery of cylinder, seal was torned and attached in the nec of the cylinder with one adhesive.That cylinder was received by Spouse as I was in Office. In that night when I come back from my office and was instructed by spouse about all the incident and I checked the weight of cylinder it was just half of the total weight. Very next day I complained, but from Jiban Jyoti Gas Agency (Contact:[protected]/7774,[protected] one employee(Gents) have told me that he was helpless why my wife have not proper checked.

    2. On 13-07-11 at 13:02:02hrs I booked. Booking No. is 240831.On 16-07-11 cash memo 6454 generated. On 21-07-11, I confirmed about my delivery of cylinder.They have told that 26 or 27 of July they will deliver. But on 23 -07-11 Delivery man come to my Flat again with torned seal. On that I was in office.My spouse objected again not to take cylinder.The D/M told please check all the cylinders keeping in carring van. My spouse gone for checking and checked four full cylinders with same problem. All the torned seal have been put in the mouth. Above the mouth that seal have been twisted just like twisted jute rope.

    3. On that day I rang up to agency but agency was closed on that day.
    4. On 25-07-11 I rang up to agency and informed total incident,again that same fellow has picked up phone and told after receiving from manufacturer cylinders are checked by opening seals.
    5. On 25-07-11 my booking has been cancelled.
    6. Agency has informed that the Delivery Man carring weight machine but actually nobody carries.
    7. Now please tell me as per Acceptance of Cylinder Regulatory I have done my job.
    8. Now booking is cancelled and cylinder also not got.
    9. I do not know wheather I will get my cylinder or not, as I complained so facing big problem.

      I guess everyone bike/car owner in Bangalore experiences this.

      Points to Note :
      1. I am being cheated by these frauds for about 3-4 months now.
      2. I visit a petrol pump only when my bike is out of petrol and then fill its tank to full capacity.
      3. I have the CITIBANK's Inidan Oil Credit Card and so I prefer going to an Indian Oil outlet.
      4. It came to my notice that no matter what petrol pump I go to, these guys always "by accident", fill the tank with Rs.100/200 petrol first then put their display back to zero and fill in the remaining amount of fuel.

      The Incident:

      I caught them red handed today when they filled in the fuel for Rs.200 and stopped "by accident". Somehow, I managed to stop the guy from filling in any more fuel after that (He was very reluctant though, I had to practically push him away to stop him from filling in any more fuel).
      As I checked the tank, there was no petrol in it although, their display said I owe them Rs. 200/- .
      It was early in the morning and I was getting late so i couldn't fight for long but I am going there in the evening to talk to their manager.
      Let's see what happens.

      PS: Any information about the steps to follow to lodge a complain consumer court will be appreciated.

      Just the same happended with me at BP Petrol Pump in Sanjaynagar, They show Rs.200 and later fill in the rest. Actually he has not filled the Rs.200.

        Dear Team,

        Pls note - we have seen improper handling of fuel charging happening in motor vehicles at below petrol pump.


        NAME - JOAQUIM PETROL PUMP

        LOCATION - DEONAR., NEAR CHEMBUR .


        The pertol attendant shows the Zero meter to the motorist and after the attention of motorist is disturbed., the attendant (or his colleague) slowly moves the meter to Rs.100 or like wise and starts filling the vehicle after that so that he can earn the mark up amount .

        This is not a one off situation and have observed this in almost alternate occations in same petrol pump.,

        Have discontinued service from said Petrol Pump and have passed accross the message to all the known people around.


        Pls investigate action .

          I am subscribed to the Indane Gas (consumer no 13525) distributor M/s NEEL GAS AGENCY, JABALPUR, Madhya Pradesh. From last more than one year I am observing that after booking a cylinder I used to follow up usually 5-6 time in every alternate day and every time I got fixed reply that "In a day or two we will deliver cylinder at your doorstep". I got delivery of cylinder usually after 15-20 days of booking. So I just want to raise your concern towards this point that your dealers are not providing proper service to the customers. They don't care for any complaint against them. Last year I requested to the area manager and complaint them about the delayed supply but matter was not solved till yet. It seems that the system has no control. It’s really horrible.

          lindane — always delay of refill supply

          Sir, I am a customer of Kishen Gas Agency Shimla Road, dehradun since a very long time. Recently when i booked for a refill cylinder they said it would be delivered within 10 days. (I have booked it on 4th march,2011) again i went to ask about cylinder as they never pick the phone they said they would deliver the cylinder now you go to home n wait. but till the date i have not received the the cylinder, when i saw delivery boy near to my house i asked about cylinder he said it has not yet come, he was not behaving well and i was totally irritated by the way he spoke to me. I strongly say please look after this matter. The staffs working in the agency and the delivery boys do not know how to talk decently. They are always rude. The Agency owner should definitely look into this seriously,otherwise he might loose his business very soon....or please favour me if you can manage to change my distributor.
          Janata Gas Agency, Shamshad Market has approached for booking of LPG Refill on our LPG connection 10177 on June 2,2011. When the agency was approached today for the status, they claimed that the supply is recorded in their computer for 16th of June while we are still awaiting for the supply. This is sheer negligence on their part. Had they been true, they should have in their record the slip for supply issued by the consumer. To avoid booking on telephone or query about the status of booking, they keep their telephone unanswerable. this could be checked by making a call on their telephone number[protected].

          I had booked a refill on 14.2.2015 which is confirmed with
          ref no.529292 as informed thro’ SMS from IL-INDANE on 14.2.2015. Refill not yet delivered, but status on
          Indane site says that ‘bookings cleared upto22.2.2015’. MEGHA INDANE SERVICES,
          Kottakkal, Malappuram informed that my booking is registered in their system on
          23.2.2015! (I am still having the confirmatory SMS with me). They further informed me that the delivery
          time is 60 days.


          Moreover Indane has developed a web site in such a way that
          Consumers cannot interact with the company.
          One is not sure if the messages reach them or not. They, from their
          part, never acknowledge.

          I feel I am in a fix after transferring my LPG connection
          from HP Bangalore to Indane at the present place (Pl note HP has no dealer in
          this town)

          Can you help me in getting my refill supplied without any further delay.

            I have Indane Gas connection, Sarojani jaiswal from gopiganj . cylinder is not delivered and the Gas receipt is cut in 30 days. and go the gas egency after 10-20 days latter from receipt date.. and the gas charge is 396/- rs. .. and take money 410-425 rs with receipt ...and 10to 20 days after .. now I'am single person .. then a many problem.. and GOPIGANJ GAS EGENCY sale another cylender BLACK ... 1000/- near about .. Very heigh corruption in my city.

            So please somthing Do............

              My cunsumer no.is 1143 & my complain is our Gas distributor M/S Ratan Lakshmi Indane service,Agam Kuan,Patna-07 Gas cylinder not provide in proper time & proper quantity.Your vendor Bhim maximum time black marketing your Gas cylinder & delay delivered to customer.But time to time cylinder delivered to shopkeeper not in customer.My order no./S.no.173,dated:30-06-11 as on date no any Gas cylinder supply in my house.
              So kindly I requiest you punished & warn your vendor Bhim & discuss with your agency manager Mr.Hari Shanker.

                We have LPG connection from Sri Ganesh agencies, Mangalore. In the LPG verification website, against our no-R12016, LPG connection suspended/ration card suspended remark is there.This is because our data of ration card and electricity RR no is fed against consumer no.12016 in the name of Saraswathi. The gas agency is not taking any reasponsibility inspite of our providing correct documents. Oru ration card number is MNG05124719, electricity rr is mgl1363. This is the status remark in the LPG verification website-" RC Status Remark

                We have LPG connection from Sri Ganesh agencies, Mangalore. As per the agency, we are suppose to book for refilling the cylinder only after 21 days. In case we call one day before, can't they take our booking? What happens if we call one day prior to the booking date? If the agency is so particular about the booking date for refilling, let them print THE NEXT BOOKING DATE on the bill and give us a copy.

                After waiting for 21 days to book for refilling the cylinder, again the supply is only after 10 days. Why is it so late?

                To book one cylinder we have to call atleat 10 times as the line is always engaged. After getting the the line the operator is too harsh in responding.

                  I am a lady residing in Morena with my children alone and my husband is no more. I have booked LPG gas cylinder on 16th July and till time 23 July I have not received our cylinder while I have daily visiting on agency and in every visit I have been promised to deliver tomorrow but result is same no delivery of cylinder.

                  Apart from that today on dated 23 July i was shocked to hear ....that my number in not in booking till date. also i don't have any booking number for the same.even they will never provide any booking number to single customer .They asked to book my no.after 1 month of delivery date and will deliver after 15 days of booking.

                    i am a consumer (Cust No. 18195) of veerjyoti enterprises Opp. panchsheel enclave, jaseph tito road, ND-17 tell 26493784. I am really disappointed with their services. i have booked the refill on 7th july. & following up with them from last week every day but no action taken place. This is not the first i am facing this kind of problem. Today again i have called them ([protected]) to ask status of refill & they disconnect my phone. after that try calling them number of times again but stop picking the phone. kindly look into this.

                      I am a regular coustmer of Indane gas. Whenever i call at Kuljeet Gas Service, Patiala for booking of cylender it always beeps engage/busy. I thought they are intentionally keeping the phone down. and if phone connected then they did not pick the phone. I have to try the same for four to five days, then I'm able to book my cylender. And after booking they delivered the cylender after in 20 days. If i ask about, why delivering so late.. then said "piche se suplly nahi aa rahi, hum kya kare..agar aap ko problem hai to aake head se baat kar lo.. hum kuch nahi kar sakte..." :(.

                        Indane gas domestic cylinders are being soled to Car garage for filling of LPG to cars at a garage in Gazated Officeers coloney, H.B.coloney Po. Visakhapatnam
                        This Complaint is Regarding - Fraudulent Cheating with Gas Cylinders - We were told 3 and half Kg Gas Refill at a Local Shop in Hebbal - Kempapura. When We used this Gas it was just around 1 and half Kg. Why are Customers being Cheated in terms of Quantity of Gas? Will the Karnataka Government Look into this? When 3 and half Kg Gas was being told Why was it of Only 1 and Half Kg Quantity???? The Karnataka Government should take Stringent Action such Cheating Cases? We Pay Our Hard Earned Money & There are Shops here that are Duping and Cheating Customers
                        This Complaint is Regarding Residents are being Charged Rs 15 for Each Gas Delivery Per Each Household. The Gas Distribution Personnel are Charging Rs 15 for Each Gas Delivery per Each Household near Hebbal, Bangalore. I would like to bring this Matter in front of the Karnataka Government - The Gas Distribution Personnel are Collecting Rs 15 from Each Household for Every Single Gas Delivery. Sir, Please Calculate the Amount of Profit the Gas Distribution Personnel would have made from Every Household. Example - There are 1000 Houses in a Locality. The Total Amount Collected Would be Rs 15000. This a Big Amount in spite of the already Burdening Gas Bill of Rs 415. Are we supposed to Pay Rs 15 Extra Every time for Each Gas Delivery??????????????????????

                            Indane Gas — DELIVERING NOT PROPER

                            I am a LPG Indane Gas customer with SRINIVASA Gas agency, THIRUNINRAUVR, chennai and my consumer number is 3155. I have booked for a refile on 23th january 2009 over phone.and they have registered. They replied that they will Distribute with in a week. But again 11th FEB-2009 when I made a call to them they replied it will deliver with in 1 or 2 days.TILL DATE cylinders are not distribute. my 2 cylinders are empty due to abnormal delay, they are not ready to hear anything and they are dealing the customers very bad.This is the think not only happen for me but to all SRINIVASA Gas agency consumers. Please take necessary action regarding this complaint.

                            I have booked my gas cylinder on 12.10.2010 still my cylinder not delivered to my house. The person who is delivering the cylinder is telling that, he had put my cylinder to someone's house and showing my bill. I asked him why you did like this.

                            i m devendra gangil and i m 28 yrs old.i have so many problems for gas.i put alwaz no of roshan gas service .but my cylinder is not come on the right time .when we came on the office.then alwaz employee said ur cylinder is recived on after 3 or 4 days but not come in 3 or 4 days has the cylinder black means total 420.from the junior to senior employee do the cylinder black.

                                I am a customer of Indane Gas. My distributor M/s Pattammal Gas Agency, Tambaram is not supplying gas regularly. I have booked for refil on 15/11/2007 and till date they have not supplied the refilled cylinder. On an enquiry they said your refil cylinder was already supplied on 21.11.2007. The cylinder delivery boy Mr. Kanniappan for my place in Guduvancheri seems to sell the cylinder to tea shops. I request the OICL Authority to intervene and solve the problem with the Distributor.
                                I am a customer of Indane Gas. My distributor M/s D S Gas Service , pooth kalan Budh Vihar Delhi-41 having consumer no DS1547 . Sir Our suppplier is not supplying gas regularly. I have booked for refil on 22/12/2007 and till date they have not supplied the refilled cylinder. On an enquiry they said your refil cylinder would be supply to you within 4 days .

                                I am Suresh from Bangalore. We are using Indane gas service last 10 years. We have taken the connection in Yelahanka New town distrubution office in Bangalore. For giving refilled gas cylinder they are taking more than 15 days, they are not filling the delivery date in the recipt. If we ask, it is not possible or we will not fill in the delivery column,like this kind of command is coming from them.

                                If we ask the reason for delay, no gas cylinder supply, they are saying this kind of answer. Please revert back to me for my consern. Otherwise, i will solve this problem by consumer court.

                                In other-hand they(Supply Persons) enjoy supplying in unauthorised way very timely and regularly.

                                I am not sure whether this complaint is being registered or necessary actions are taken . But no action in this regard will definitely prove that these persons are backed by higher indane gas officials. Hence, I 'll be forced to get the help of consumer court .

I have booked on 19/12/2008 for supplying refilled sylinder. I have paid a visit to M/s North End Gas Centre on 12.01.09, they have noted my consumer No. and assured me that they will supply the refilled sylinder tomorrow i.e. on 13.01.09. But, they have not supplied it till today.                                 INDANE has the responsibility to monitor their local service agencies for satisfactory performance and they should conduct periodical survey among consumers to ascertain efficiency and punctuality. About 90% of the local service agencies are failure. Most cases these local service agencies are known for their notorious behavior with consumers and alleged to be corrupt.
                                Suggested the authorities may intervene so as to run this vast supply system more efficiently to well serve the public especially its consumers through out India.

                                Indane Gas Dealer Amar Gas Service Himayatnagar, Hyderabad, is not supplying gas in time.
                                The modus operandi is to divert the gas to 3rd party and submit forged receipt in the dealer office.
                                The Dealer Amargas and IOC is requested to cross check the receipt of cylinder by the consumer by calling him and when the customer does not receive the cylinder but delivery receipt is in office then prosecute the delivery boys for submitting forged receipts and also inform the customer so that a NBW case can be booked against the delivery boy and fraud is curbed forthwith.

                                Indane Gas — delayed / non supply of gas cylinder

                                I am Parameswaran A.R. residing at Sai Subhodaya Apts, Opp RTO Thiruvanmiyur, The registered mobile number is [protected]. I have a gas connection for supply of Indane GAS with Cooking Gas Agency, 3A Malavia Avenue, First Street, Thiruvanmiyur, Chennai Phone:[protected]. My consumer No. is 74047.

                                I have booked for a refill on 08/03/2011. Though no specific date was mentioned for supply of the refill [it appears it is their prerogative to supply on any day of their convenience] it has been billed on 15/03/2011. I have been in touch with the agency almost every day from 20th March. Though they would promise me to supply the gas the same day or the next day of my call, it never reached me.

                                Finally it was delivered on 30/03/2011 after 14 clear days. The delivery boy was given Rs.8/- [rounding the price of the gas from Rs.352/- to Rs.360/-] out of magnanimity, he started demanding another Rs.5 as a matter of right. He did not leave without the money being given to him. This is for the delayed supply. I wonder how much he would have taken from those hapless housewives to whom he has rotated the gas cylinder for 14 days! This is atrocious and high handedness on the part of the suppliers and their delivery boys.

                                I strongly protest against this and request you to register a complaint against them and to enquire about this. I would be very much obliged to hear from you about the developments.

                                sir main aap ki reliable gas agency ki customer hu, sir main aapna DBC coneection lena chahti hu par agency ke maneger kabhi stationary nahi hai to kabhi next month dege, sir next month phir rate badh jate hai. sir main middle class family se hu mere se itna rupees nahi diye jate hai, sir main aapna consumer no. nahi bata sakti kyoki appko pata hai aap hamara kaam karwa dege to baad me customer ko bahut tang kiya jata hai, plz sir aap jin jin ke DBC connections aaye hai sabhi ko bajib rate bata kar dilwa dijiye.

                                    I have joined IGIMS, Patna and transfered my gas to Jayashree enterprises, Baily Road, Sheikhapur, Patna-14 having custemer no. 2088.

                                    I have two cylinders. 21/12/2010 first time recieved two cylinder from the agent while transfering and booking.

                                    After that I have recieved first cylinder from the agent on 11th April 2011.

                                    7th June I have went to agent for booking but no eletricity, computer is not taking the booking, so not able to book on same day. After that due to some urgent work I was out of station and returned back.
                                    23th June apprached my agent and requested for booking. Agent told all booking is from his office is stopped. You need to book through mobile.

                                    Booking details displayed in his office. Same way we have booked from this mobile -No: [protected]. It taken the booking and and informed that 10th June you have booked and delivered to you on 16th June 2011.

                                    So next day (25th June) approached my Agent and informed same matter and he told me that your booking not taken in online. So we will book on behalf of you. Agent is assisted in booking and told me that your booking taking only on 13th June 2011.

                                    5th July again enquired with Agent (Jayashree enterprises) he told me that only 13th July afterwords you will the cylinder.
                                    On 14th July again we appraoched the agent, he said now 3rd July bookers cylinder delivery going on. Your's may get clearer on 16th July.
                                    Till today we didnt get gas filled cylinder from 7th June onwards.

                                    Big question is who booked cylinder on 10th June and Whom it has been delivered on 16th June 2011 ?

                                      I have booked my gas through your cell no provided by you. My consumer number is 82208. Booking reference number : 270667 on 19th of February 2015. Also i have registered a complaint through your toll free number with reference no. 1994410. The result of these references are zero. My gas dealer is situated in Palakkad district of kerala.                                       Dear Sir,


                                      This is to bring to your kind notice that I'm the consumer with M, M. Enterprises, # 230, 60 ft. Road, Avalahalli, New BDA Layout, BSK 3rd Stage, Bangalore - 5600 085. My consumer ID 29879.


                                      I have booked for a refill on 10 | March | 2015, wide booking Nr. 363135. Till the writing of this complaint I've not received the gas cylinder.


                                      A week after a booking, I tried to contact on the numbers mentioned here under, unable to contact over any of the given numbers.

                                      During their working hours, I tried on the four lines, nobody bothered to pick the phone on ringing the phone, the phone always found busy, thus I could not able to contact over phone. If by chance some one pick the phone, they hang the phone before completion of the communication, without hearing the complaint patiently


                                      I've to personally visit to their office, which is far away from my residence. It's highly impossible for me to leave the office to attend this domestic work, in my tight schedule. A work just a phone call will do, I've to spend time and money, to talk to them, personally. It's time consuming job.


                                      A small firm cannot handle a so much pressure of work dumped upon them. Somebody, made him the King. They are unable to handle the thousands of customers. Further, they are far away from the customers places such as in Basvanagudi, V.V. Puram. Hence, the customers are suffering under them.


                                      I, therefore, request you to bifurcate the burden of load on them and appoint a new distributor in V.V. Puram area, which covers all the surrounding areas of consumers. The consumers get a lot of relief. Think of the senior citizens, aged old persons, women folk, how can they reach their office, by bus, from Basavanagudi, V.V. Puram etc.


                                      Give a serious thought to my feedback. Sit together, take a right decision, in the larger interest of the consumers.

                                        sir this is to inform you tha providin domestic gas service of indian oil( R.K.ENTERPRISES B-51 mauryalok patna-800001) in patna has detoriated a lot.i applied for gas cylinder refill in first week of june but still i have not recieved.moreover they do not recieve our phone calls.. sir kindly look into the matter as soon as possible

                                        I am customer of Indane Gas Agency from almost 4 years I never face this kind of problem in my previous experience, my consumer no. IC – 6779, SV no. [protected]. I booked my 1 domestic gas cylinder on 08 September 2010 from Distributor Indane Shakti Show Room, DSMS, Ganjam, Chatrapur, Orissa after 16 days today (24 September 2010) they said Gas Cylinder is not in a stock and they told me on telephone (no.[protected] that after booking date we will take minimum 45 days to deliver the gas cylinder. I just want to know from Indian Oil is there any written rule for the same from your end. We are going through booking process but the other beneficiaries get the cylinder within day. I am quite confused from where they get these gas cylinders.
