Sir,
It is very clear that the gas prices have been hiked by Rs 50/- from mid night 24June 2011, However the gas agencies which are suppose to deliver the gas have been making a foul play.
I have booked the gas on 15 June 2011 Delivery Chelan is made on 20 June 2011 and delivered on 25 June 2011 with the increased rate by altering the price by hand. The agency is not giving the proper reply for the complaint. I would like to know from your good office that the price noted is accounted to the company or not.
I have a case of Supreet Gas Agency Dharwad doing the same. They have delivered the cylinders on 25th which are booked even earlier
Kindly look into the miss-appropriations. Intimate Please?

Puneet Gas Agency, Sector 16, Rohini — Forcible selling of gas pipe.

I am a consumer of Puneet Gas Agency, Sector - 16, Rohini, Delhi. Yesterday a mechanic came from the Gas Agency and damaged my gas supply pipe. The pipe was in very good working condition and its expiry date was still one year away. He had some blunt object with him with which first he damaged my pipe and then he forcibly sold the pipe he had brought with him saying that my pipe had developed some fault. I want stern action may be taken against him and the Gas Agency.

IM A CONSUMER OF INDANE GAS VIDE NO - 12505, UNDER BHUBANESWAR, ORISSA, MY DEALER NAME IS KLEEN GAS, 26 SCR, KHAVELA NAGAR, BHUBANESWAR. PH[protected] / 3090940. MY COPLAIN IS THAT THE NEW CYLINDER WHEN CONNECTED FOUND GAS LEAKING FROM THE CYLINDER MOUTH AND IMMEDIATLY THE SAME WAS COPLAINED TO THE ABOVE SUPPLIER. THOUGH 3 DAYS HAVE ALEARDY BEEN PASSED THERE NO RESPONCE FROM THEIR SIDE BUT ALWAYS WITH A COMMITMENT THAT OUR MAN IS REACHING AT U.
1. I am costumer of you esteemed organisation through agency named M/s Puneet Gas Services, Plot No.-132, Pocket F-2, sector-16, Rohini, Delhi. My Customer No. is PG-26658.

2. On 24.06.2011 at 9:30 A.M. while trying new automatic gas booking no. [protected] for requisition of refill L.P.G. Cylinder, I faced a lot of difficulty answering automatic computerized telephone answering machine no. [protected].

3. Firstly the machine refused to accept both no. 27856431, 27872552 along with STD code as printed on cash memo of M/s Puneet Gas Services.

4. The response of the machine was that the above mentioned numbers do not belong to any of M/s Indian Oil Gas agency.

5. Thereafter at about at 9:45 A.M. I again telephone at no. 27856431. This time a lady answered my call and shoutingly asked about my problem & enquired my consumer number. She very rudely informed me that the complaint / request and has been registered & refill will be provided in four to five days.

6. On that time LPG rate was Rs.345.35 for 14.2 Kgs. But the delivery boy delivered the same on 25.06.2011 & asking me for Rs. 395.35 as the amount re-stamped Rs. 395.35, hence the price was increased on 25.06.2011.

7. My specific complaint is that the lady attending the phone was rude & unsympathtic to the needs of civilized society. Her very comment that “ I was free to report to higher authorities regarding not accepting the above mentioned agency’s telephone no. by the automatic computerized refill booking machine. And Why the dealer agency holder charges extra Rs. 395.35 when the price was Rs.345.35 for 14.2 Kgs.,

8. My grudge is the gas refill cylinder delivery is very poor. Moreover the person attending the agency’s phone invariably asks to hold the line for long periods

I WANT TO KNOW HOW THIS MATTER CAN BE DEALT.
    I have shifted from Bharuch to Daman. I wanted to know distributors of indane gas cylinder in Daman and Vapi, so that I can get refill my cylinder.

      Delivered today 25.6.11 with rough behavior by Delivery man
      He has handed over handwritten cash memo (never given earlier in last few years) charging Rs.427/-. Price of Gas reduced to Rs.16. We have seen in daily newpaper. The Price should be 370+[protected]=404. Please take him into task why he has taken Rs.427 with rough behavior. Please do not send such person in future.

        Dear Sir,

        My complaint is about the late delivery of more than 2 months for the delivery of Indane Gas Agency at Thalikulam, Thrissur, Kerala, India, even after booking. Many of the customers are not worried because everybody have thier own other facilities like Kerosene Stove, local fire cholas at their home. The reason as per the gas agency are : We will not be able to supply the before 2 months, if anybody have some problem, they can go for another private gas agencies. Non-availability of gas to them etc etc.

        As this is the only one gas agency in that coastal area, everybody is depending on them and if anybody go beyond the rules and regulations, they make mark on their customer number register and trying to harras the customer.

        During office timings they are not attending the telephone nos. privided in their books or i the shop.

        It is very difficult to get the transferred connection from other places. The reason they deliver is not understandable to a common man.

        I am staying at Aurangabad, Maharashtra. There the agency is delivering the gas within max. 1 week. I am unable understand why the said agency is harrasing its customers.

        Please attend for the smooth delilvery of the gas cylinders.

        Also let me know the actions taken by you through my mobile or my email address.

          We have asked to fill 1000 Rs. Petrol in our Hundai Santro Car(GJ-10-AP-6120) at about 1:30 am at your station. The person get the money from us started filling petrol without doing zero though we have asked and started it from digit showing 300 in disply. We have argued him that you have cheated and also asked for bill, though he said not to give it and do what we can do and get lost from there. we would like to go with consumer protection.

            i am resident of Phase 11 Mohali H.NO. 214 1st floor. i applied the LPG gas Connection from M/S High Flame Gas Agency Phase 9 Mohali. they given me the format to type that on Affidavit on stamp paper and also instructed me to maintain all the required document and they have taken rs. 200 for visting fee and rs. 40 for the register post and also confirmed me that we will send our person at your home to inspect the matter. after 20 days no one come moreover they have demanded for the 5000 extra apart from the actual cost. when i refused to give bribe they refused to issue new connection.

              Respected Sir,
              I have been using Indane Gas for last 6 months but till date I have not received my 2nd cylinder, when I took the connection they told me they will issue after one month and when ever i went to the distributor they told after one month/2 weeks like that every time the distributor is Sri Vishnu Indane Gas Agency, kadugodi, bangalore.

                  I am the Indane Gas for my domestic use with the cust number 40254.The distributor is Ranee Enterprises of 44,Perumal Nagar,2nd street,Madipakkam,Nanganallur 600061 of Kancheepuram dist. The Indane gas is leaking everytime when we switch on the gas.I had tried to complaint to the distributor right from 3.30 PM but the phones are not lifted.After repeated failure to access the distributor i tried to contact the emergency telephone numbers given in the gas receipt on the back side .But to our agony the land phone is kept engaged and the mobile is switched off.The numbers are land :[protected] and Mob : [protected]..If in case these numbers are wrong it should have been updated..What is the remedy for such emegencies are not known to public.

                    Hi!

                    I have booked for refill for LPG on 3/06/11 and have not yet got it (today being 20/6/11)
                    Tried to get the status from the IVR but it said that the booking was done on the 3rd of June and all deliveries have been cleared till 11/6/2011, but I have not got any delivery. Tried to make new refill request but the system is not allowing.
                    In the mean time tried calling up the distributer - Ananth Gas Agency the entire day yesterday but the number is either busy or someone there picks the receiver and keeps it back.

                    Also tried to complain on Indane Gas Toll Free number at [protected]. but when after hours of attempts got connected. The person on the other end without listening to the complain said said "No problem!! You call after some time as there is no power here" How can Indane Gas set up a Toll Free number and IVR without even having a 24 hour power backup!!

                    Anyhow I find the earlier system of calling up the delivery boy more effective. with this IVR there is no way to even have a platform to lodge a complain if something goes wrong.

                    The entire arrangement of making Indane Gas Refill Online is so much bug prone and frustrating and time consuming.

                    Ananth Gas never picks yous calls.

                      LPG Gas — VERY LATE DELIVERY OF GAS

                      I booked gas (Consumer No. 11251) for home delivery on 01.08.08 but till today 28.08.08 not deliver.

                      I can not share the pathetic situation I'm facing. I'm working with a MNC and my working hours are quite large, usually I reach home after 8.30 pm. After reaching home I took my family to near by Dhaba to have dinner to manage the day .

                      Gas Agency staff are so negligent that even they never bother to pick the phone, it keeps ringing long time.

                      Situation is really pathetic, unable to understand what to do with such sort of services.

                      My booking number given was 103-572 after a long time ringing he has given the booking number i dont know whether the booking number is correct or not. In now days the company should tell us whether the company's md or any other people can live without gas at her home. In the competitive market the company is providing these type to services to the customer. Its very very shame full SHAME LESS SERVICES BY COMPANY. How the dealer are working. I think this doesn't matter to the company. If they pick the phone of the customer they put the call on hold they are least bothered that customer is on hold for 1-2hrs on phone can is expect that company should deliver the gas at home and the reburisment bill of the phone also. There is no shortage of gas all other suppliers are suppling the gas in the same area then why should this dealer is not suppling. Is there any responsible person who should question the dealer for these type of services.

                        I booked a refill couple of days back and today i got a message today stating the cylinder has been delivered against my refill. I have not received the cylinder yet and when i dial [protected] to enquire no one answers it.

                        Sometimes the IVR says, "Sorry your call cannot be processed". I don't understand what is the number for?

                        Please let me know if you have any alternate number to get to a customer care executive.

                          hello this is deepak from warasigude studying btech final year .the indian gas delivery boys are supposed to give my new refilled cylinder and take the old once but he is demanding to bring the empty cylinder to other street and said to take the new once .when i asked him about. and told him that this is your duty to collect the empty gas cylinder and install the new once he ignored my words and said to collect the gas from gas station.and the behavior of the delivery boys are very rude.plz take a serious action.

                            I AM A LPG CONSUMER OF INDIAN OIL CORPORATION THROUGH THEIR DEALER M/S PRATHANA GAS SERVICE IN NANGANALLUR AREA WITH CONSUMER NO.JE34521. WHEN I TRIED TO REGISTER MY CONNECTION WITH IOC;S AUTOMATIC REGISTRATION IVP FACILITY, I AM NOT A BLE TO DO SO B ECAUSE OF INHERENT PROBLEM WITH THE SYSTEM. A SUGGESTION BY THE SYSTEM IS THAT "IF THERE IS ANY ALPHABET BEFORE OR AFTER YOUR CONSUMER NUMBER PRESS 2" HOWEVER, WHENEVER I PRESSED 2 IN ANSWER TO THIS QUESTION, THE SYSTEM DOES NOT RECOGNISE MY RESPONSE WITH THE RESULT I AM UNABLE TO REGISTER UNDER THE AUTOMATIC REGISTRATION FACILITY. THE SNAG IN THE SYSTEM NEEDS TO BE REMOVED. I AM SURE EVERY CONSUMER WITH NUMBERS PRECEDED OR FOLLOWED BY ALPHABETS FACE THE SAME PROBLEM.

                              I am an officer in Bank of India and presently posted at Head Office, Mumbai.

                              Upon my transfer from Hazaribagh to Mumbai, I have decided to shift my family at Muzaffarpur. Accordingly, I got my connection no-9153 transferred from Janta Gas Agency,Hazaribagh to Pranati Indane Gas Service, Muzaffarpur. I went to the agency at Maithi counter on 31.05.2011 to complete the formalities and collect my connection but gentleman seating over the counter advised me to come after a few days as the same has to be verified into the system. I expressed my inability that since my journey ticket was of 01.06.2011, I could not be able to collect and complete the formalities in person. The gentleman advised to authorise some other one on your behalf. Accordingly, I have authorised my wife for the same. I also expressed that since my wife is living alone there, she is unable to collect the same from the office at Maithi as the place is 20km (approx.) away from the township and no regular mode of conveyance is available from Muzaffarpur. The gentleman assured to arrange the delivery from their extension counter, Akharaghat.

                              On inquiring on 14.06.2011from the gentleman, he said that they are not able to deliver the cylinders etc. through their extension counter situated at Akharaghat even after commitment. Pl. look into the matter as my wife is living alone who is authorised by me to accept the goods. The very purpose of opening extension counter is defeated if this type of service is not available from extn. counter. Travel to the office at Maithi is very difficult as it is 20 km away from the township. The mobile number-[protected] of the person dealing with the affairs of the agency is not reasonable and having no manner to talk with their customers as they are saying that "he do not have any time to talk over the phone, it is the headache of the customer, how they will collect there goods and complete the formalities."

                              I think this type of the behavior will not be appreciated for a service sector.

                              hi all consumers I am a serving Air force personnel. I read the case and want this kind of representative to be handed over directly to public. This kind of person not aware the relation between a customer and a represetative.there are tons of complaint pending but no one take action. hope IOC will go through and resolve

                                i am residing at neyveli. I have no gas connection sofar. i have approached for a new gas connection at M/s gosaka gas agencies,rajiv gandhi square,block-6 neyveli.they have instated to buy a new gas stove to my application. as i have already having gas stove received as a gift.....the firm may be infomed to give me the gas connection without insisting to buy gas stove for them.i request that the necessary action may be please be taken in this regard.

                                  ALWAYS A PAIN TO BOOK A CYLINDER WITH THIS BRANCH.tHE PHONE IS USUALLY OFF THE HOOK(ACTUALLY WALKED INTO THE CENTRE AND SAW THIS ), OR THE STAFF IS ON A BREAK.
                                  MORE SERIOUSLY, WE WERE GIVEN A LEAKING CYLINDER AT 2.00 PM TODAY.ON PROTESTING, THE PERSON ASSURED US THAT THE SMELL WAS NOT LEAKAGE,AND WILL GO OFF SHORTLY.
                                  AFTER AN HOUR,WE STARTED CALLING THE OFFICE FROM 3.00 PMTO COMPLAIN,BUT THE PHONE WAS ANSWERD ONLY BY 5.30 PM.
                                  SERVICE MAN FINALLY SHOWS UP AT 6.45PM AND FIDDLES AROUND WITH THE CYLINDER.LEAKAGE DOESN'T STOP, SO HE SAYS HE'LL BE BACK THE NEXT DAY TO TAKE CARE OF IT.WHEN WE PROTEST THAT WE DONT WANT A LEAKING CYLINDER IN OUR HOUSE FOR 24 HRS,HE SAYS CARTING CYLINDERS IS NOT A PART OF HIS JOB PROFILE.WHEN WE ASK FOR THE CYLINDER TO BE TAKEN AWAY, WE ARE TOLD THAT ALL PERSONNEL HAS LEFT FOR THE DAY.
                                  THE SERVICE MAN IS ARGUMENTATIVE,RUDE AND TOTALLY REFUSES ANY SENSE OF RESPONSIBILITY.
                                  MEANWHILE, ON CALLING THE CENTRE, IT'S NO REPLY AS USUAL.tHE SERVICE MAN REFUSES TO GIVE ATERNATE MOBILE/EMERGENCY NUMBERS, OR CONTACT OF ANY PERSON IN AUTHORITY,BUT STEPS OUT OF MY HOUSE TO PROMPTY MAKE CALLS THROUGH HIS MOBILE-REPORTING THE INCIDENT.SURPRISINGLY, HIS CALL IS TAKEN AT THE CENTRE, BUT STILL NO REPLY TO OUR CALLS.
                                  THIS CENTRE HAS ALWAYS BEEN A POOR SEVICE PROVIDER,BUT THIS APATHY TO EMERGENCIES LIKE LEAKAGE IS SHOCKING!!!

                                    i am writing here certain points on which we the people of Rajajipuram need your concern
                                    1. No complaint register is given to us when we want to make any comlaint and after a long conversation, they just give a duplicate register.
                                    2. Workers of the gas agency behave in a ill mannered way with the customers
                                    3. No verifiation of the complaint register has been done by any Indane oil corporation officers.
                                    4. None of the workers are properly dressed in their uniforms neither do they wear they name badges.
                                    5. When we enquire about their names so as to make any complaint.... they usually dont tell their name or give any invalid name.
                                    6. Agency owner as well as the manager never meet any customer directly so as to solve their problem ever.
                                    7. No signboards and notice board are available in the Gas Agency office to help the customers to proceed in a proper criteria when they are in certain problems, such as
                                    => when one wants to transfer gas connection
                                    => when one wants to make any complaint to someone
                                    => to apply for double cylinder, etc
                                    8. Gas booking can ever be cancelled by the workers of the agency without any prior notice and suitable reasons, whenever they want.
                                    9. Gas is never checked for weight and other criterions before dilevery.
                                    10. Booking Coupon is always given after 12 p.m. no matter what sort of emergency is happening with the customer.
                                    11. None workers are there on time. Punctuality is never maintained in office.
                                    12. Booking is never done through phone, infact phone is generally kept off the reciever so that no bdy can disturb them on call and no matter what sort of problem the customer is having, they have to alwayz come to the agency for booking the gas.
                                    13. Residential Gas is openely used commercially without anyones objection.
                                    14. Priorities of Gas agency is alwayz valued irrespective of the customer's satisfaction, specially regarding time of delivery of gas.
                                    15. thers no generator facility available in the agency. lot of inconvinence for the customers when theres no electricity.
                                    16. If the regulator is not in a proper condition of the cyllinder, workers of the agency pay no heed to it.
                                    17.generally the seal of the cyllinder is not tight.
                                    18. in special cases of public usage such as ceremonies, bhandaras, etc, extra cyllinders are not issued from the agency posing quite a number of difficulties for the customer.
                                    19. Black marketing of Gas is done openly.
                                    20. Shri Naveen Pandey, owner of agency is well mannered and polite but have no control over the staff.
                                    21. no body recieves the complaint of agency
                                    22. No suitable explanation is given when they are questioned for late delivery of gas cyllinder.
                                    23. Workers unnneccessary put objections on different requests of the customer and genearaaly ask for "authority" etc.

                                    kindly, please take neccessary actions against the agency and its workers so as to reduce the inconvinence that is caused to the customer.

                                      I booked a request of refilling of my indane gas cylinder - consumer no 013276 and Agency M/s B.N.Gupta & Co, Patel Gali, Vishwas Nagar, Delhi-32. The request was made on given phone no. on 2/6/11 but cylinder was not delivered till 10/6/11. On making a complaint, it was delivered on 10/6/11. It was noticed that foul smell is emitting from that cylinder. A Complaint was made to emergency service. A mechanic came and found it was leaking and gave in writing that cylinder is leaking and may be replaced immediately. Next day on 13/6/11, the mechanic report was given to the gas agency for replacing of cylinder. Till date i.e. 15/6/11 the agency has not changed the cylinder. There is imminent danger of mishapening due to leakage of gas. An immediate intervention is requested to replace the cylinder.

                                      I am consumer of your company with consumer no 6206 in the name of Neeraj jain with ur Dealer Aman Gas Basti jodhewal Ludhiana.I recieved the delivery of cylinder as i have optioned home delivery.The cylinder i recieved was in leakage condition and when i call in office on no[protected] the staff every times replies tht it will get ok by evening and it happens near abt 6-7 times and when i call last day they said pls come in office and when i replies tht i m doing job and i have optioned home delivery the satff talk to me very rudely and replied tht they dont have so much of staff and they disconnect the phone.when i again call they argue and replied very volgur.so pls tell me how this can be solved

I have booked cylinder but they not deliver the cylinder and cancel the booking it many times. I have made complaint but they have not positive response.One cylinder delivered on 12/12/10.has minor leakage. if i want to complaint on telephone they have not reciveved the call. the agency is very poor in service. Please improve this service soon and replace my leaking cylinder urgently because it is dengrous to safety. if any mishappening is happen the responsibility will be of Radha Govind Gas Service

                                      Sir, my consumer no. 15181. Gas is leaking from the cylinder supplied to us 06.2.2011. The whole room is smelling badly we have been trying to reach the supplier (Shanti Indane, Sadh Nagar Palam Colony) but no one would pick up the phone on the 06 Feb . . Their only response is "our staff will come and attend" Again our request for a complaint number was unanswered. How do we sort out this problem

                                        RECENTLY I HAD SHIFTED FROM MOHALI TO CHANDIGARH. I AM HOLDING A GAS CONNECTION IN MY NAME AT MOHALI WITH HIGH FLAME GAS PHASE 9 MOHALI AN INDANE GAS DEALER. I REQUESTED THEM TO TRNSFER MY CONNECTION TO CHANDIGARH. THEY ASKED TO DEPOSIT BOTH THE CYLENDERS AND REGULATORS. I DEPOSITED THE SAME ON[protected]. THEN I WENT TO THE GAS DEALER OF INDANE AT CHANDIGARH IN SECTOR 37 NAMED M/S CITY GAS, SECTOR 37-D. CHANDIGARH. BUT THEY REFUSED TO ALLOT ME THE CONNECTION BY SAYING THAT THEY HAVE NOT THE STATIONARY FOR ISSUE OF CONNECTION. THEY ALSO MISBEHAVED ME WHEN I TOLD THEM PLEASE CO OPRATE ME AS I HAVE ALREADY DEPOSITED THE FILE. BUT TILL TODAY I.E 14.06.2011 THEY DID NOT HEAR ME. PLEASE RESOLVE THE ISSUE EARLIEST.
