Plastic seal can be opened without tempering, whereas aluminium seal must be tempered while opening the cylinder. Aluminium Seal is also eco-friendly, whereas plastic material can not be destroyed and creats pollution. Therefore IOCL should be used Aluminium Seal or develop any other material which is temperproof & Eco-friendly.

    I m having only single gas cylinder connection not dbc and have booked my gas on 17/02/11 (Book No. 18) through tomogas.com. Still I have not received my gas cylinder which was supposed to b received within 24 hours. Kindly take nacessary action to supply the cylinder as soon as possible. Details are as follows.....

    Indian oil corporation — Delay in supplying gas cylinders

    I have ordered for a gas cylinder from Maruthi Dist in Welcome Colony,Anna Nagar Extension,Chennai 600101 on 17th Jan.They promised it in 10 days but I have still not received it.When I call them they are rude and ask me to find another dealer.My consumer no is 57713.
    Please take some action on this.

    Is this site tomogas approved by IOCL as I have registered myself with tomogas to book domestic gas cylinders? I have given my consumer no. as R27208 instead of 27208. So I want to know if adding R before consumer no. will reject my registration.

    I am a consumer of B.T.P.E, CO-OPSTORES consumer no-515674 gas booking has been done on 10/10/2011 booking reference number is 243370 but gas cylinder has not been supplied till date 30/10/2011.It is almost a regular practice to supply gas cylinder after minimum 30 days.

      Today(04.03.2011) a vendor come at my house with a cylinder for delivery which has already been expired A09 (e.i.March 2009) as per your guidelines.I refuse to accept the cylinder then vendor asked that you can talk to agency office for the purpose. He aslo said that I have no other valid cylinder for delivery.
      02. After that I called to agency office on telephone, he replied that media has made a confusion among the consumer about the cylinder validity that date is not expiry date that is the date of testing and also said that you can talk to INDIAN OIL.

      We have received one expired cylinder, marked as D14, it suppose to be used till Dec 2014 only, though we have told at the time of delivery, they were very not in a position to listen, and they delivered forcebally. When we tried to connect we found gas was leaking, then we have closed immediately, then we have tried to reach Shivshankar agencies, but several attempts went on vain. Request you pls change the cylinder immediately.

        I am a LPG consumer of Indane Gas Agency Nangloi Gas Service, Nangloi, Delhi-110041. My Consumer no. 17917. I would like to state my LPG supplier from Nangloi Gas service does not supply LPG cylinder on time. He always supply the cylinder after several calls. it is his practice to supply the cylinder after 15 or 20 days after booking of the Gas. The Gas distributor person is of very redundant nature. He is alway ready to quarrel with the consumers when some one asks about his cylinder. This irregular and inordinate delay in supplying the LPG cylinders is causing very difficulties to me and my family. This time I have booked my Gas on 17th of February, 2011 but till date ie up to 4th of March, I have not received my Gas Cylinder. My address is F-5, Shiv Ram Park, Gali No. 7, Near Shani Bazar Road, Nangloi, Delhi-110041. My telephone nos are[protected] and [protected]. My e-mail address is r.[protected]@nic.in.

        I shall be grateful, if an early action is taken against the Nangloi Service Gas Agency and the Gas supplier.

          With due respect this is to inform you that I Mr. P Singh from BIET (ENGG. COLLEGE), Customer No-T00914 has ordered the gas cylinder from Jamuna Gas Service, Jhansi on 12th Februrary. I havn't received my gas cylinder till date. Moreover people who have ordered thier cylinder late have received their cylinders. I have faced the same problem in past also. In addititon the hooker don't pickup his phone when called.I have already registered many comlains at the service station but received no response at yet.
          Kindly please see to the problem.

              Dear Sir,

              I had booked for a refill cylinder through tomogas on[protected] and the Booking No. was 1. Every alternative days, I was checking the status, but I was not getting. Finally, I called the Gas Agency, M/S. Al Ameen Gas Agency, Shoranur on 24th ultimo, then I was told that they do not have the online booking facility and they have booked again on the 24th ultimo. Now, gas cylinder is empty and our cooking is being done without gas.

              In the online, I have seen the agency name and sap code etc. that was why I booked. If there is no such facility, why do you show all these details. We are waiting since the last 45 days. In our home, there is one accident person also and every now and then hot water is required.

              Considering the above facts, would you request the gas agency to supply one refilled cylinder at your earliest, for which I shall be grateful to you.

                Dear Sir,
                I got a LPG cylinder from Udaydeep gas service (sector 7 Faridabad) on19th march2011 at my residence house no.919 sector 55 Faridabad.whiten two days we found that cylinder has a leakage and its pin was broken.I complained to agency for so on 24th of February.A lady working with agency told my that leakage will be rectified on[protected]Saturday),
                but nobody came to rectify on so called date.On 28th February I reached the agency and meet the owener of that agancy. He assured me for changing the refiled cylinder on today[protected], but the leaked cylender with a broken pin is still laying at my home please help if this is a problem in your view.

                    Respected Sir,

                    I am Sukhdev Singh, R/o VPO Bhojemajra Distt Ropar. I am a LPG consumer (Customer no is 10798).with M/S Joti Gas agency, Ropar.The booking system for rural area customers of the gas agency is so poor that there are so many irregularities . Seems Agency people adopting the different procedure for different customers. So I want to draw yr attention towards the Harassment to the customers. There is no procedure for booking the refill for rural area customers. My Village is BHOJEMAJRA. But my booking is done with village Bhallian and there is no booking reference number is given. the ladies answering the phone are rude and never listen to me. They will just let you know that it will take 7-10 days to get the gas. After 7 days you will call them again to let them know that you have not received the gas yet. They will ask you the booking no. and will let you know that no booking has been done on this consumer no. It’s because they put the phone down before you ask for the booking no., and you believe that you have done the booking and you will get the cylinder after a week. By the time you realized that you have been taken for a ride, it the high time to get the cylinder. In Aug 2008 when i made a complaint regarding the distribution procedure of the gas agency and then the matter was solved by the Higher Official of Indian Oil and the message was conveyed to the agency that they will provide the cylinder to me from their godown. After that everything was running smoothly but after January 2011 the agency people again start the harassment to me. They do not want to attend my call. On[protected] when I attempt to talk the agency people the agency staff Miss Reeta and Mr. Harjeet Singh misbehaved me and using the abusive language. When I said that I will go to the higher official.....they said they not bother anyone.....Jo karna hai kar lo....supply tan aidan he milu.......
                    After a day i.e on[protected] when I go to the agency for discussing the matter with Agency owner..The agency staff refused to allow me to go inside. I wait that when the agency owner will come out then I will talk...But when agency owner come out ...I tried to make attention towards me...But Miss Reeta said that there is no need to attend to me. I was shocked and I tried to make a call on yr toll free number to enter my complaint, but that was not available.So i am sending this complaint to you thru email and want to draw yr attention towards the behavior of the agency staff and how they Harass to the customers. You are requested to look into the matter and take necessary action in this regard and provide relief to me.



                    This is not the first time that they are troubling me, earlier to the complaint was made directly to the Indane office at Chandigarh and thru their Public grievance officer i got help. In Aug 2008 when i made a complaint regarding the distribution procedure of the gas agency and then the matter was solved by the Higher Official of Indian Oil and the message was conveyed to the agency that they will provide the cylinder to me from their godown.(the transaction regarding that complaint is in my mail box.I can provide u )after That everything was running smoothly but after January 2011 they again start the harassment .But Today they crossed every limit.I pay for gas then why I listen the abusive language from agency people. so I Requested u to solve this issue and need the some fruitful on urgent basis . as per LPG Marketing discipline guidelines MDG- 2001 and provide relief to me.
                    I ajready send this complaint to area incharge Mr. Pankaj Mathur (Indane Area Office, Chandigarh Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (M.D.) Tel Bhawan Plot No. 6A, sector 19B, Madhya Marg, (Chandigarh)and mr.Mr. S.S Naggi (Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (M.D.) Indane Area Office , Bypass, Suchipind , Jalandhar 144009) thru email on 27-2-11. But Till today I got no response.

                    So I Requested u to solve this issue and need the some fruitful on urgent basis . as per LPG Marketing discipline guidelines MDG- 2001 and provide relief to me.

THEY ALWAYS DELAY TO HOME SERVIES. firstly they booked after 20 days then after 20 days the will delivered at home. yani ki mere six family member hai. unke bich 1 cleinder mujhe 40 din par milta hai. yas hamesh kahte hai. gas uper se aa nahi rahi. enka kya udpay hai.

                              This is to bring it to your notice that petrol filler staff at Pathy & Co located on poonthamalli high road maduravoil are full of tricksters.

                              Diverting attention, filling less than the ordered quantity, Collecting against ordered quantity, commenting by money collector in between saying due to sleep don' loose your concentration to the filler boy

                              I have ordered to fill petrol for Rs.500 on 1st Feb.They asked me to see Zero for enhancing credibility, The filler boy starting filling. I have given my ATM card to money collector. Money collector drawing my attention he asked if I am interested to buy some petro card.... i was talking to him.. suddenly the filler pulled out the filler nozzle from my car..... I was surprised to note that he filled petrol for only Rs.100/-..... I anxiously reminded him that I have ordered for Rs.500/- He said Sir, please wait I am changing my hand.....again he resumed filling..... then the money collector again resumed his conversation diverting me offering the petro card.... In the meanwhile the filler boy again attempted to pull out the nozzle, I said what? he said Nothing Sir, he again resumed and filled petrol for 499.98.

                              All are fraudulent in this petrol pump and requires removal of such staff who are cheating the common public. If that is the case then there is every possibility that the petrol we are buying from this pump can not be pure at all.

                                    Indane Gas — phone busy

                                    I have calling on the nos. 23033444, 23034222 of B.R. Gas Service for Indane located at 5-50, Chandanagar, Hyderabad - 500 050.But no one picks up the call and all the time the no is busy... I think they employees have hung up the phone so that the nos are always busy continuously. We have been facing a lot of problem with this gas agency as this is a regular problem with them whenever gas booking is needed. I will request the Indane gas management higher authorities to please look into the matter and avoid inconvience to gas users in this area.
                                    I have calling on the nos. 22360415 & 22360416 of Jyothi Gas for Indane located at seshadripuram, Bangalore. But no one picks up the call and all the time the no is busy...
                                    I think they employees have hung up the phone so that the nos are always busy continuously. We have been facing a lot of problem with this gas agency as this is a regular problem with them whenever gas booking is needed.                                       Sir,
                                      My Cust.No:15496, Indane Distributor :Karuppiah Gas Enterprises,Sundar Nagar,Trichy-21(Ph.No:[protected].
                                      Cylinder last supplied was on 12/01/2011.Registration for next supply was done on 07/02/2011 by the distributor though i personally went to the agency on 22/01/2011.Till date(27/02/2011) they have not supplied the cylinder.When approached on 26/02/2011,the distributor says that the supply to the distributor is very less and it will take another 3 days if supply is regularly made to them.
                                      1)What is the procedure adopted for registration of next cylinder after a cylinder is supplied?
                                      2)How many days a distributor can take to supply a cylinder after registration?
                                      3)Why phone calls are not connected to the distributor even after making calls continuously for more than 50 times in a day?
                                      4)Consumers are not allowed to contact the second phone number[protected] of the distributor.Why?
                                      Kindly intervene and regularise my supply.

                                      Domestic Gas — Cylinder Not Supplied

                                      Dear Sir / Madam,

                                      My Consumer No : AI9625
                                      Dealer name : ANUSHKA INDANE (Nerul West, Navi Mumbai - 400 706)

                                      I have given request dated on 30th Sept 2008 to supply full cylinder, but till date(16.10.2008) i have not received the same.

                                      Regarding this 5-6 times i have given the complaints to that dealer, but we have not received the proper responce / respect from the personels.

                                      Kindly do the needful to get the cylinder in time & take necessory action with the dealer.

                                      I have applied for the connection on 10th March 2010 but yet not received the same,please find below the details :

                                      sir, moonlight gas service, 19, G.T.Road, Bhadreswar, hooghly, west bengal. a very poor management distributor of this area, I think they have no right to deal with customer's in this busy world, they have no capacity to deal with thousands of consumer in this area, last 3 or 4 days their delivery men are on strike and management & office staff doing very good job they call all consumer's at their office, imagine thousands of consumer standing in line for a coupon on busy G.T.Road, old ladies, retired gentelmen, all are in que for a coupon for 3 to 4 hours, now if one got a coupon then he/she run to their gas godown for cylinders that is more than 3km from booking office, all right, now if a man/woman an employee of govt/private sector, think what's their conditions if they could not get the cylinder's on same day, when they are not doing any wrong with this ditributor, always pay 5/10 rs to the delivery man for smooth service for future but always get delay delivery 5/6 days.I, thank my self, that i have close relatives at neighbouring towns and they are under another distributor. All fault goes to the Indane Gas Company, that their staff knows every thing about this distributor instead of taking any action on behalf of his/her company, they taking something from distributor.
                                      The reason for the poor service by Karuppiah gas agency is that it is owned by a political person who belongs to congress party.

                                      Moreover there is a Manager who is said to be a lawyer. He will talk in high pitch even for a normal matter or won't hear anything what the customer says. The owner has purposefully put the lawyer in the gas agency to threaten or harass the consumers.

                                      You won't get the telephone connection to the agency and even if you got the connection the person at the phone ask you to wait for some time and wilfully forgot that you are on the line. After some time you will naturally disconnect your phone fearing with raising phone cost.

                                      Cylinder will be supplied after 7 or more days from the date of taking of printed bill and when you rebook cylinder they will take the date when they supplied after the bill date. So you will get the next cylinder approximately only after 60 days. It is also learnt that they are misusing the seniority for supplying the cylinder.

                                      After frustration when you go and ask at the show room after failed attempt to get on phone, the clerk will say that you will get the gas today or tomorrow. But you won't get the gas even today or tomorrow. It will prolong for some more days and you will get the cylinder as and when they think to supply.

                                      This is the plight of most of the consumers at Karuppiah Gas Agency, Sunder Nagar, Tiruchy. Why the IOC officials are reluctant to take action against Karuppiah Agency, Sunder Nagar, Tiruchirapalli 620021?

                                      The IOC can take a survey about the Karuppiah Gas Agency from the consumers and cancel the licence if it is proved that they are offering a poor service..

                                      To put an end to the consumers sufferings, the IOC should have a centralized booking system like telephone department centralized automated complaining system so that consumers can escape from this unscruplous agencies like Karuppiah Agency and its Manager.
                                      I also agree with your complaint. Consumers are not getting any responsible reply from the staff there. Telephone connection won't get. When you go in person they will say that it is power cut. So they won't take complaint now. When the power is available they will say that it is out of office hours and won't reply to the query. Cylinders are supplied more than 7 days after taking out the printed bill. When rebooking they will take the date when the cylinder was actually supplied. So the consumers will be the sufferer for the delay by the Karuppiah Agency.

                                      Last month (6.2.2012), I had booked a cyllinder with M/S Karthikaya Agencies, bungalow Natham Road, Madurai-14, Tamil Nadu. My consumer number is 34002. Till date, the same is not delivered to me. When I went to the agency to enquire about it, the staff had used nasty language against me. I request you to take further action.

                                        In this Korutla at Sri Rama Gas Distributors are issued new connections at Rs.4,600/- and DBC was Rs.2,200/-. It's very burden to poor people's and us. actually dbc cost at iocl rules on 1250 deposit, 346.45 gas rate, 35 administrative charges. pls take action immediately..
                                        Here PR Replacement take 150/- additional, at iocl rules say's free replacement.
