Dear Sir,

I have applied a new connection of Indane Gas and accordingly submitted appropriate paper to my nearest Indane Gas Agencies M/S Sheetla Gas Agencies on 13-April-2010. But till the date I did not receive any information about the same. Every time Staff of this gas agency use to say that this is under verification, after complete verification I will get the same gas. Now its 3 months passed away. Please help.

Indane Gas — not issuing the paper

its approximately 6-8 months.....i applied for a gas connection.....he gave the connection....but regulator is old...and he don't gave us the papers of connections......so,pls do something for this problem......thanks

    they charged 375.00
    we ask why u claim for 375 he say it delivery cost. may i know the agency margin is includedon delivery chrge. kindly do the action aginst the roberys

      today i went to mann motors dealers bathinda indian oil corp. ltd. bathinda for petrol worth rs. 500. after getting the petrol via bill no.12189 I asked for free air service for my car tyres. as soon as i asked for free air service came the reply from petrol pump workers that they dont give free air service... reason
      different replies 1 leakage problem
      2 no electricity
      i am getting similar excuses from the past 3 months.. i wonder why they have put up the board free air..
      this time i went to the manager ... a 50 plus sardarji was sitting there..
      i politely told him about the problem and asked for the complaint book....
      but he said that they dont keep the complaint book as the indian oil corporation doesnt ask them to keep one...
      if he was telling the truth
      i think the indian oil corporation has given special concession to MANN MOTORS bathinda and it needs some investigation for the circumstances under which such special concession was given?

      Every pump in India displays the name of the concerned sales officer with mobile No. You can call him over the phone and tell your complaint. Complaint register is available round the clock at any petrol pump. Get it from the manager/supervisor and write your complaint with all your contact details including mobile No. You will be contacted soon by the company sales officer or dealer. Don't forget that you are writing the complaint in a right way, what I mean is do not add cosmetics (write only what has happened ).

        I am consumer of indane gas having reg. no. 12062 with Buttar's Gas Services Model town Ambala City.
        last refill was got booked on the last dates of may or on begining dates of june. delivery was send by
        above said agency on 29-june-2010 vide bill no. 8125 dated 19-june-2010 on wich the rate of gas was printed Rs. 314.36 paisa. The delivery man demanded Rs. 350. There was no stamp of Rs. 350 on bill/recipt. on my asking about the difference of rate the delivery man wrote Rs. 350 with is own pen on bill/recipt. Due to this act of delivey man the delivery was rejected.The above said gas agency again send the delivery on 05-july-2010 vide above noted bill,date,condition and i refuse to take delivery.Is this not black marketing. Kindly look in the matter . An early action will be appreciated.

          I am from bihar and my consumer no. is 2679. 17 days before i ordered for home delivery of LPG gas. but still their is no service or any reply from the distributor side.
          my distributor's code is 69131051. So please sort out this delay and do something for your consumers.

          BOOKING AND DELAY IN SUPPLY OF GAS CYLINDER.

          I am a resident of 28/22 Welcome Colony, Anna Nagar Western Extn., Chennai-600 101
          Tamil Nadu and my consumer #:18372. One M/S. GANESH GAS AGENCIES, Mogappair Road, Anna Nagr Western Extn., Chennai-101 and they didn’t issue a Domestic Gas Customer Card since 1998, we do not know their CODE Number and address. Their phone nos.are of 26562006 & 26562007.

          For the last couple of years, I am facing problems of delay of refill gas cylinder supply. Whenever I book second cylinder, the persons who are attending calls said that they will book only 21days after receipt of last refill and then again 10 days for the receipt of cylinder after booking. So total 31 days and some times more than that. From Daily News paper we read as “you need not wait for another 21 days and more for refill gas. Could you please clarify that any rule prevailing now to book another refill only after 21 days?

          I booked refill cylinder after 21 days, i.e., on 11.10.2010 but so far no reply from their end and they said it will take another couple of days to supply.

          In this juncture, I request your benign office to take proper action and ensure that all your valuable customers not to face any hardships from the said agency at all times.

          I would request you to transfer my connection to M/S.MARUTHI GAS AGENCIES, 1/1, Welcome colony, Anna Nagar Western Extn., Chennai- 600 101 which is adjacent to our place.

          I am a bonafide customer of Indian oil corporation gas bearing consumer no.51979 through the authorised distributor pattammal gas agency,mudichur road,west tambaram. I had booked for a cylinder on 08/02/2011. However the same has not been delivered till today instead of repeated reminder to distributor .my waiting no is 5210.It seems that for those who booked on 12/2/2011,they have got the delivery.there is also no proper response from the customer sevice and other authorities of Indian oil gas.Am sufferring without cylinder.My daily activities like cooking are disturbed to a great extent. Further, I have also make a complain to state incharge through e-mail on today.

          I have placed my all Gas transfer related papers along with my ID and Address proof papers to OM GAS Agency, Ranjhi, Jabalpur on 10 Oct 2011 with hope that I will get my 02 Cylinders + regulator as soon as possible. Several visits have already made by me to OM GAS Agency, Ranjhi, Jabalpur but till date I have not received cylinders and regulator. Every time they told me that vehicle has not come yet, now December has come. On 03 Dec 2011 I have again visited OM GAS Agency, Ranjhi, Jabalpur A/N their staff told me that vehicle has not come yet, but from my some neighbours I come to known that they have distributed gas on 03 Dec 2011. I again went to OM GAS Agency, Ranjhi, Jabalpur on today (ie 05 Dec 2011) now again they are saying that when next vehicle comes we will provide you the same. Now this is totally unbearable for me because I have joined my work place on Oct 2011 along with my family and now December has come and I have not got the basic things here.
          I can hardly believe that a department like yours which is reputed for its efficiency should be taking so much time in doing needful. I am quite hopeful that you will take a prompt action and oblige.

              Hi,

              I want to transfer my INDANE GAS connection to Sewak Park (Raj Flame, Shop No - 11, Shanti Market, Rama Park, Uttam Nager,New Delhi). When i reached Raj Flame office they transferred my Gas Connection and ask for Rs 45 as the documentation charges. When i ask for the receipt they refuse to give it. After argue they told me this is the amount we change for the paper that we use to print the transfer information.

              Despite that when i requested them to issue me New Domestic Gas Customer Card. They refused me by saying that from last many years we are not issuing such cards, asking for the reason they told me that IOC is not issuing us such cards to disturbing to the customers. I am totally surprised to hear that. Before that i was associated with Dwarka Gas (Opp Sec 5, dwarka) which always offer best service. But i saw these peoples are not here to give their even good service.

              Not sure whether posing here will help me and many other consumers or not. But i am hoping for the best.

                Sir/ Madam
                Myself and my wife are doctors and we have two DBC Indane cooking gas connections ; one in my name and the other in my wife's name, for the last about 20 years. We are using it purely for domestic use. Now our dealer says that there is an instruction from the Indane company that one couple is eligible for only one connection.Hence he has asked us to surrender one of the two connections.
                I want to have a confirmation from the Indane company whether such notification has been issued by it to the dealers? Or is it a malpractice by the dealer himself?
                As there is no shortage of cooking gas at present, this type of restriction is not justified.Cylinder being very expensive , only the minimum number of refill cylinders is purchased by the consumers.

                Being doctors we have to offer hot water or even tea to our patients and employees ,totally free of cost on humanitarian grounds; hence this should not be considered as commercial use. Secondly ,having lots of social contacts ,we have relatives and friends visiting us frequently. Our requirement is minimum two cylinders per month.
                I request you to deal with the matter urgently.
                For the time being I am only lodging a general complaint against the Indane company for issuing such instructions to its dealers. However if the dealers themselves are trying to play any tricks then I shall provide the details of our dealer.

THE GAS AGENCY HAS ASKED THEM TO FILE A AFFIDAVIT THAT NO GAS CONNECTION HAS BEEN TAKEN AND IN NOVEMBER 2009 THE AFFIDAVIT DULY NOTARIZED HAS BEEN SUBMITTED TO THE SAID AGENCY AND MY FATHER WHO IS 68 YEARS OLD HAS BEEN FOLLOWING UP REGULARLY BUT ITS SURPRISE ME BY THE END OF MAY 2010 NO GAS CONNECTION HAS BEEN ISSUED TO HIM .

                    IN SUMMER VACATION I WAS AT MY VILLAGE AND I HAVE VISITED THE GAS AGENCY AND AFTER APPROACHING THE CONCERNED SALES OFFICER , DEWESH GAS AGENCY HAS BOOKED THE GAS CONNECTION IN THE NAME OF SHREE SUDAMA SINGH, VILLAGE BANGERE KE BARI, BAWANDIH, POST CHAINPUR , SIWAN, BIHAR AND ISSUED US WELCOME LETTER FROM COMPUTER TO SUBMIT CERTAIN PAPERS BUT MYSELF AND FATHER WENT THERE WITH ALL THE REQUIRED PAPERS THEY TOLD THAT THEY DO NOT HAVE CYL TO ISSUE .

                    AFTER SUMMER VACATION I HAD RETURNED TO MY WORK PLACE BUT MY FATHER SHREE SUDAMA SINGH IS FOLLOWING UP FOR THE GAS CONNECTION BUT TILL DATE ALL GONE IN VAIN.

                    TO MY SURPRISE CYL ARE AVAILABLE IN GRAY MARKET OF CHAINPUR IN ANY NUMBERS .

                      I have been trying to book my cylinder for the last 3-4 days, but I am unable to contact any of their provided numbers. Either the phones are ringing or busy. 24 hour booking no. as well as the helpline nos. are also not responding.

                      When ever we reach the agency and tell them that we are not able to get their phone no. the answer is that Our phones are ok.

                      Please get my complaint solved immediately and arrange to get the gas booking done.

                        I was having a HP LPG domestic connection at Kota,Rajasthan.On account of transfer of my job from Kota to Chittorgarh I surrendered my connection at Kota & got a TV so that i can get the same transfered at a local dealer in Chittorgarh.At Chittorgarh I find there is no HP Gas Dealer & I thus approached Indane LPG Gas dealer Chittorgarh Gas Service,Kumba Nagar,Chittorgarh to transfer my connection from HP to Indane but they refuse to do so saying i am not having a Ration Card of Chittorgarh.I want to know is it compulsory to have a Ration Card for a Gas connection & if so then for people who are having a Transferable job that they get transfered after every 2 or 3 years is it possible to get a Local Ration Card everywhere.
                        Someone please help me in matter.

                        Indane LPG — Non transfer of my connection

                        Dear Sirs,
                        I was having a LPG connection with M/S Chahal Gas Service. When I contactede the agency yesterday for refill booking, I was told that my connection needs to be transferred to Mohali gas Service due to redistribution of territories. I was given a transfer voucher and was told that the new refill will be booked at the new agency.However, when I contacted Mohali Gas Services today; I was told that the computers are down and I should come after two days. They also told me that it is quite possible that the job may not be done on that day as well. When I requested the proprietor Mr Anoop Kumar to help me out, He was quite rude and told me “The computers are down from Bombay. You should have taken a full cylinder before taking transfer. These problems are being created by the company. We can’t do anything.”
                        Sir, I want to raise the following points:
                        1. I was never informed that I have to get the connection transferred. I came to know of it only when I went for refill booking.
                        2. Computers or server being down should not be used as an excuse to delay a genuine refill booking. We all know that the work can go on manually in this situation.
                        3. Even after two days, there is no concrete assurance of the work being done. Add to it the waiting period of 10 days for the refill delivery and my misery will be very clear.

                        You are requested to instruct either the old or the new supplier to book a refill at the earliest and ensure timely delivery. At the same time the dealer should be told to behave himself.

                        gas connection from indane gas service — refusal to transfer the gas connection

                        Sir,

                        Undersigned is a registered indane gas customer from ajmer, rajasthan for several years, and have a gas connection in the name of my late father Sh.Arjandas lalwani at superbajar, near ajanta cinema, ajmer, rajasthan dealer of indane gas .Recently my oringinal gas book got lost somewhere.I lodged a formal FIR for the same and requested to transfer the connection in the name o[censored]ndersigned or alternatively issue the gas agency another gas book but i was asked to deposit a sum of Rs.2600/-, submit 2 affidavits and witnesses from my 3 sisters married outside as i have lost both my parents or alternatively take a new gas connection by depositing Rs.3000/-

                        Sir since I am going through financial crisis at present and it is very difficult for me to deposit such a large sum at a go.My humble submission is that since I have been using the connection for such a long time and already having gas cylinder, gas stove regulator with me issued by indane, the connection may kindly be transferred in my name .

                          On 12June,2010, I have booked an Indane gas cylinder with IOC call center helpdesk [protected] and was given a confirmed booking number. But till today(30-June-2010) my local IOC distributor LT Distributor, Jodhpur Park, Kolkata has not delivered the same. My indane consumer no is 21328. From 23rd June,10 onwards I have made series of complaints to the same help desk number on this, but of no avail. But when I asked directly my distributor on 29th June,10, they said that there is no booking in your name on 12th June. However, they mentioned that they themselves have made a booking by themselves on 25th June,2010 on my behalf in lieu of false claim that they tried to delivered the gas on a certain date in between but it was not received by us.I can tell you this distributor is involved in series of malpractices in my locality and there are enough complaints from my neighbors in surrounding place.

                          Looking for your help to stop such malpractices time and again in this regard

                          SUB : A leaky Gas Cylinder recently supplied by your Dealer, North End Gas Centre, Prasadpur,
                          11 Rail Gate, Prasadpur, Barasat, N. 24 Pgs., and the trouble that Centered around!!

                          REF : Domestic Consumer No. T653. : Our letter dated Feb. 7’11 on the subject item.


                          Dear IOL,

                          We are one of your long standing Customers, using your product for over the last 40 years. Unfortunately, our complaint dated Feb. 7’11 on the subject item (Supplying a leaky Gas Cylinder, extremely rude and uncivilized behavior of the deputed Technician and employee, Shri Swapan De**, of your Dealer) remained unanswered till date! In fact, our several complaints in the past also against the very same dealer, that centered around irregular supply, delivery of a Cylinder and collecting money w/o a cash memo or receipt, rude and objectionable behavior, demands, and the like by some of the Dealer’s representatives remained unresolved, and we have never heard from you in those directions in reply! Many of your other customers in the Area also lodged similar complaints against the said Dealer, w/o any response and relief from your end. What is wrong with the world famous IOL? Is a dealer dearer to the IOL than the people, IOL’s consumers?

                          Could it be possible, dear IOL, that you have no control at all over your Dealer/s! Or, could it be possible that taking advantage of your silence (or, indirect compliance, if I may term it that way) your Dealer, without the slightest respect for law and order, is flouting the Govt. regulations, code and norms! Otherwise,

                          1) How could you keep yourself so unconcerned on such a sensitive offence like that of supplying a
                          Leaky Cylinder through your authorized Dealer that could have caused a serious fire hazard, and possible loss to lives?
                          2) How could your authorized dealer ignore to pick up customers Telephone Call, especially our Emergency Calls, one after another, on February 5, afternoon, that centered around your Leaky Gas Cylinder, supplied by your authorized Dealer?
                          3) When there is no dearth why we, the regular and bonafied Domestic Customers, do not get our cylinder on time, while the pretty FAST FOOD DEALERS around flourish with their uninterrupted supply and brisk business?
                          4) During the festive times while the pretty FAST FOOD DEALERS around flourish, we, your regular
                          Domestic Consumers, have to suffer due to insufficient supply, as usually claimed by your dealer!
                          We wonder as to how the system and the set-up under our welfare Govt. keep the pretty FAST
                          FOOD DEALERS so active and carefree while the Domestic Consumers continue to suffer?
                          5) As demanded in our last letter of Feb. 7’11, are we not entitled to compensation for the loss due to a leaky Gas Cylinder that did not contain full load of Gas? You remained contemptuously silent on this point also! How do you ignore your responsibility in this direction? You collected the full price for the Cylinder without providing the full load of GAS.




                          6) In our last letter of Feb. 7 we enquired if your Dealer’s Mechanic, Shri Swapan De** was entitled
                          to a Service Charge for fixing a Leaky Cylinder, supplied by your Dealer, as demanded by him,
                          and for which he refused to issue any receipt, whatsoever, and finally started howling, grudging and
                          even threatening us! Strangely enough, you did neither answer to our query nor take any action
                          against this offensive attitude, nor apologized for the same! If, however, he was entitled to, then
                          please let us know the prescribed amount, and advise you authorized dealer to kindly collect it
                          against a valid receipt and oblige.
                          7) In our last letter of Feb. 7’11 we also requested you to kindly let us know as to how to check the
                          quantity of Gas in a cylinder Delivered by your Dealer. Like many of your other customers, we
                          have reasons to believe that many a time we are not supplied with a fully loaded Indane Gas
                          Cylinder!

                            I am Padmavathi residing at No.4, 4th cross street, lakshmipuram, Thiruninravur, Chennai - 602024. as a consumer for IOC No.22409 till now from 02.05.2002. My agency at Srinivasa gas agency - Indane distributors.

                            The connection which I am using right now is in my cousin's name Surendar Rao. What is the procedure to change it to my name? what is the amount I should pay for it?

                            Hi,
                            My consumer number is 12726. I am holding Indane LPG connection from last five years at Madhu Gas agency, Mayur Vihar Phase-3, Delhi. I have changed my rented accomodation in the same area & in the same society.

                            Now I want to change address from one flat number to another of same address & society. I have been submiting my rent agreement to Madhu gas agencu but they are not accepting saying we would also require photo ID prooof of landlord. I have been giving electricity bill as proof of house which i have taken on rent but agency members are not accepting. Could you please guide my about the process? My land lady is not willing to give her photo id proof for my gas connection. What should i do now? I would appreciate a response in this regard.

                              When we have taken a new connections through "Ranee Enterprises, 44 Perumal Nagar, 2nd Street, Madipakkam, Nanganallur-600061.Phone Number is 22241826, 22240951" for Indane gas, they forced us to take a Gas Stove "Ladies Finger" even though i said i have a better Gas stove with us. They charged me arround 4000 amd odd Rupee for a connections which included the stove, a Apron and other things which i never asked for . When i refused to take, they said we cannot give the connection untill u take those additional things and pay for it. The Lady who is the MD for this Agency said its IOC who is giving this and they are asking us fto give this to the customers and she cant do anything about it. I want to know if that is true, if not Please do take some action against this Agency.

                                Dear Sir,
                                Sub : Excess money charged for Gas Cylinder by Nataraj Enterprises, Yelahanka Bangalore
                                Ref : 1. Invoice No. 19571 dtd. 23.06.10 for Rs. 325.20
                                2. Consumer No. 21696
                                I have placed order for Gas Cylinder replacement on 22.06.2010 and they have raised the above bill on 23.06.10 for Rs. 325.20 and visited our house for delivery on same day but returned due to door lock.
                                He delivered on 26.06.2010 with the same invoice and demanded for Rs.361 (rate revised from 26.06.2010). The Manager of Nataraj Enterprises demanded me to pay the revised rate and he arrogantly informed me to complaint with anybody. Ultimately I paid under protest.
                                Please let me know whether he can collect the old rate as the booking date and billing date earlier than the revised rate date and the logic as well as the ethic behind his motive.

                                      DELIVERY BOYs of M/s.KTS ENTERPRISES is demanding Rs.365 for the new
                                      increased billed Gas Cylinder. Actual bill value comes to Rs.353/- including tax, he is asking extra
                                      Rs.12/- for I Floor delivery, We agreed to pay Rs.7 extra total Rs.360/-, he is shouting us.
                                      Kindly inform M/s.KTS Enterprises to give instructions to their delivery boys to take the reasonable
                                      charges and not to shout at anybody.

                                      Indane Gas — Great careless by delivery boy

                                      My consumer no is m-18579 and our gas agency is Verma gas Agency, Mandawali Unchepar, delhi-92
                                      As me n my husband both are working so we gave keys of our home to our neighbour to receive gas cylinder from delievery boy, so that he can take empty one n connect the filled one but this time we escape from great mishappening.
                                      Delievry boy calls on my cell at that time i was in office to know exact location of my house at 12.30 noon as my house is in conjusted area i told him the location n request him to go first at my neighbour's place.As i told him he first goes to the neighbour place they open my house and from there he take the empty one n connect the filled one, he checked the gas weither its working properly or not but a he didnt off the knobs of cylinder n gas n went away and when i came back at home at 7 in the evening whole building is smelling with L.P.G. and when i open the doors of my house its like entering in swimming pool of L.P.G.because knobs are on for last 6 hour so one can imagine
                                      that "HOW CARELESS HE IS"..Any thing can happen, we escape from great MISHAPPENING...WHY THIS COMPANY APPOINTS SUCH FOOLISH PEOPLE, ..who will be reponsible if anything happens...i request u to take some quick action on this matter.

                                        We are Indane customers (Customer no 32875). The distributor is M/s Flame Craft, 538 Block N, New Alipur, Kolkata 53. (Ph 2400 0956/2222/3042 3042/[protected]
                                        We booked gas on 23.06.2010 vide booking no. 14639. We have a standing instruction for delivery before 9am between Monday to Friday & anytime on Saturday as both o[censored]s are working.
                                        On 24.06 the deliveryman came after the stipulated time, so the gas could not be received. On contacting the distributor we were told that it would be delivered on next day i.e.25.06. But he didn't come.
                                        On 26th i.e. Saturday the deliveryman Mr Sanjib came with a computer generated bill where originally the price was printed as Rs328.70 and one stamped price of Rs365.10 was affixed above it.Surprisingly there was no signature of distributor's representative which was supposed to be. However the deliveryman claimed the stamped one as the price was hiked from Friday midnight.
                                        We tried to reason him and his office -in -charge Mr Avijit (over phone) that the booking was made on 23.06 -- long before price hike and on their part there were two lapses: (1) they could not come within the instructed time & (2) they did not come on the next day in spite of their commitment.
                                        Because of these reasons they can not charge the hiked price.
                                        But they turned to a deaf ear and took the extra amount.
                                        We seek explanation and proper step from the authority.
