I recently shifted my family in Bareilly (U.P) from Budaun. In Budaun I was consumer of Bharat Gas but in Bareilly Rohilkhand Gas Service (Agency of Indane Gas) is just near my house. When I contacted at agency regarding connection agaist Termination Voucher issued by Bharat Gas Agency, Budaun, they denied to issue connection against this and said to me that this connection will be issued by Bharat Gas Agency only. When I pressed them to issue connection they said to me that they will issue connection if I produce N.O.C. from Office of Bharat Gas. Please advise me that whether it is compulsory to produce N.O.C. to take change provider of service.

    The Indian oil petrol bunk opposite to Virtusa at Ekattuthangal, Chennai uses a different petrol gun cum monitor. They are perfect frauds, who are cheating consumers by turning the petrol gun away while not completing the actual level at the end of every fueling.They steal 150 to 250 ml of petrol in every automobiles and more than litres in every four wheelers.At the end of every single day they must be cheating and stealing almost 100s of litres of petrol from common people.So peoples do not fuel there in that bunk.
    one can refuel at the Shell which is just few meters away from that bunk, where the service and standard is just too good.

    Indian oil petrol bunk — Petrol Robbery - Injustice to the consumers

    Hi,

    This is to bring to your notice that, fuel scam is happening at
    Indian Oil Petrol Bunk,
    near E.K Retail shop
    Bilekhalli,
    Bannerghatta
    Bangalore.

    As soon as a customer ask to refill bike tank with fuel, the guy will set the reading to the correct denomination asked and during operation, the cashier will immediatly divert your attention by asking "Do u need a bill". As soon as customer turns his face to talk to the cashier and once he turns back to see the fuel reading, its already switched off !!!!.

    This is really a cheap tactics played..
    Now am in search of different outlet for filling fuel.

    Hope some action is taken against this ...
    Wish to see some action taken against this and stop this illegal thing

      Respected Sir,

      I know that you are one of the big domestic gas distributer in india. There are many agency all over the india and millions of customer. Also I hope that you also have satisfied customer.But,

      I am heartily write you that we are suffering to much for the bad behavior of your delar employee. Sir I have booking my for gas on 2/07/2009 employee say within 20 days we deliver the bottle of gas, but today my second bottle is also empty but the first booking also not deliver, after two days at my home there is occasion of angangment what I will do??????????

      Sir when I am talking about my booking then the delar has no answer for that why I don't know. Sir it is
      unbelievable that agency have no gas from the company.Sir even I am not requesting to the employee because of those very bad behavior and no proper answer.

      Finaly I have decided that on Monday-20/07/2009 I am giving back the connection and cancel the connection.

      Henish Gas Agency,Anand — Delay in service

      Says delivery in 8 to 10 days, but always gives in 15 to 20 days.All other agencies give delivery within 3/4 days.
      I am hereby with uncomfortable by your Agency Services (Satyam Gas Services).I am residing in Ahmedabad

      and my consumer number is 10778 and On the Name of Shaikh Fatmabibi Ikramuddin.
      This is the Problem which I have ever to face. Now a days this is being taken too much and now I cant bear

      this ridiculous from your agency services. We have two cylinders but I never to use the advantages of

      having two, it seems that only I have one.But the major problem is Delay in Delivery and Poor response.As i

      have booked on 15th October and also make the command to arrange as soon as they can. because at that

      time, the duration for cylinder was going to be completed. as now and then I have been without cylinder

      and completing the routine life by purchasing from outside since 4 days.And on today I visited to your

      Agency named - SATYAM GAS SERVICE- at Delhi Gate in Ahmedabad.Just on Inquiry that when the delivery would

      be in.They just come up with mannerless reply that it would take 10 days more and originally it had taken

      almost 12 days.and also I have mention my condition, they just reply with what to do .I think they sells

      the cylinder in Black and earns a illegal money.
      You know this is the way how to treat to their customer and shouting on the customer. If this will happen

      you will lost many of customers and when I visited to their office their were many of people who were

      having row between your agency with having same problem.

      My name is bashir khan.i am living Rajaji Puram Lucknow.I taken gas cylinder from Commander gas Service.Rajaji puram, Lko. I booked gas cylinder[protected] but till now not get gas cylinder.Company say to me your gas cylinder will be reached your home within four days.I have complaint two time but no any action from the company . I complain before many times but always i get cylinder 15-20 days after booking of the day.

        On July 11th, 2009 I went to the following petrol pump to get petrol filled in my car:
        Hyamesh Filling Station
        License No MYS5117
        682 Ring Road, Sarakki, Phase 2, J P Nagar
        Bangalore

        After filling the petrol the car did not start. As I was wondering what to do, a second car behind me got petrol filled after which his car also would not start.
        When we complained, they sent for a mechanic, who checked both cars and said there was water in the petrol.
        The manager was missing, when we complained they said he will come. It took an hour for the manager to arrive. After which on our insistence they used a compound to check their tank. It showed that there was indeed water in the petrol. The mechanic was asked to drain the car tank, buit the car did not start. It was 12 at night by now. I was the lone lady, with my daughter apart from the gentleman in the other car who was also stuck.

        The mechanic told us he cannot fix my car so I had to lock the car and leave. I received a refund of the petrol money and a promise that the cost of fixing my car next morning will be borne by them.

        When i went back to them to claim a small sum of few hundred rupees they refused. They also refuse to take my calls.
        My car still gives problem starting.

        Could you please help to resolve this. I have tried calling the IOC toll free number for complaints but have not been able to get through.

          sir,

          i tranferred my gas cylinder with name umasankar from arni indane gas agency 2 months back.
          and i tranferred to kanchipuram. I went to s.r. agency kanchipuram and asked about to register regarding about to register with the agency. But they are delaying to give connection for the past two months, if i am saying that i will give complaint to that iocl they are telling that to give complaint and telephone nos
          arrogantly. with out any pleasing method, please take necessary action regarding this.

            indane LPG agency chawani, padrauna distt. kushinagar is delaying cooking gas onlly after many complaints and formal protest against blackmarketing.INDIAN MEDICAL ASSOCIATION PADRAUNA has lodged formal complaints to DM KUSHINAGAR yesterday which appeared as headlines in local newspapers.everything will remain normal for two or three days only.blackmarketing of gas which is costing 500 rupees per cylinder is the chief cause .

              This is to bring to the notice of Indian Oil Corporation that the Petrol Bunk located in Burma Colony, Karaikudi, Sivaganga District, Tamilnadu is not selling a good petrol. I was personally realized and affected by the quality of the petrol. My bike got strucked and my mechanic told it happened due to the petrol. Also I suspect the quantity is correct. The IOC may find it out if they make a surprise visit there.
              NOTE: I heard, the Petrol bunk belongs to a MLA or his benami.

                My only advice is that don't disclose your personal information (like date of birth, bank accounts, and phone numbers).

                And yes, if you continue communicating with them, one day they will ask you to send some money so that they can cover the cost of sending you "your money"..ain't it funny!

                  Hi..LPG distributor Kaushal Indane is giving pathetic service to its customer.

                  1)I have booked cylinder 10days back and still they have not delivered, when I queried they are saying it will take another week.

                  2)To talk them over phone is next to impossible because telephone lines are always engaged.

                  3)The office staff there are so rude as if we are not in demacratic country and we have no right to speak to their owner.

I have a Lpg connection with Raj Flame ( Rama Park, Uttam Nagar) My Consumer No. is RF239. since last 3 months i am getting problem with raj flame . every time ioc said book gas on 1260 its 24 hour helpline. i booked my cylinder on 1260 dated 6th feb 2010 but when i not received gas dated 23rd feb 2010 that i go to raj flame they told me gas will come tomorrow but when i not recieved gas dated 1st march 2010 than again i goto raj flame they told me i will send u cylinder tomorrow your booking is on dated 23 feb but i said my booking is 6th of feb she told me we will send that cylinder also. 2nd march 2010 i received cylinder but again i booked cylender 10 th march on 1260 . till today 23th march i not received cylinder now i am not able to go raj flame because i have a plaster in my left leg. so i am trying phone numbers of raj flame so many times but both number always saying busy busy busy . i know about this also because they put off the raciever on table . please help me i am waiting your positive response.

                    Kind Attention: Customer Grievance Officer - IOCL (Indane)

                    Dear Sir,

                    I would like to bring to your notice that I was recently transfered to Chandigarh by my Company on 1st May, 2009. I took a rented accomdation in Sec-69, Mohali. on 15th May, 2009 I applied for a New Gas Connection with your Indane Distributor here in Mohali, M/s Chahal Gas Service, SCO 543, 1st Floor, Sector - 70, Mohali (Ph:[protected], 2227955, 2225450) giving them all necessary documents including the an affidavit from the Local Court stating that I don't have any gas connection in my name in the past. As never required one as before moving to Chandigarh I was staying at my parent's house so the Gas connection there was in my father's name. Anyways after applying I was given a waiting no. 477 by M/s Chahal Gas Service and told me that I have to minimum wait for 2 months(60 days) to get the connection. I was in a fix and at that moment my landlord out of generosity gave his one spare cylinder to use as he had a double connection, so to get my kitchen going I used his cylinder and bought a cooking burner ISI marked from the Local Market. And, after such along wait on 13th July, 2009 I got to know from M/s Chahal Gas Service that my waiting no. has come and asked me to come and make they necessary payment. When I went to their office they told me that it is as per IOCL regulations that I also have to buy the Cooking Burner provided by them along with the cylinder to which I objected. They turned me down saying if I don't buy the Burner they cannot give me the connection. So nowhere to go I called your Local Customer Service Cell at Chandigarh [protected] where the executive told me that I can buy the Burner from any place of my choice and the duty of the Distributor is to come and check whether its is ISI marked or not. When I went again to M/s Chahal Gas Service with this piece of information, they told me that they cannot help me with a new connection until and unless I agree to buy the Gas Burner.

                    I would be grateful to you if someone or the officer in charge can answer me regarding the same or show me if any way around this as there is no point getting to Gas Burner into my kitchen.

                      We are the consumer of Indane Cooking Gas registered in the name of my mother Mrs. Tapati Sirkar, a senior citizen residing in Kolkata. The consumer no. is SE1964. The Distributor's name is M/s. Shreeji Enterprises, 81/A, S. P. Mukherjee Road, Kolkata 700026.
                      Today (06/07/09) morning my mother noticed that the burner flame could not be put off by closing the cylinder valve i.e. by closing the regulator. The burner knob was working properly but not the regulator. She informed my wife, who immediately called up the Emergency Service Cell at 24458113 at 10.05 AM. The concerned person at the other end of the phone was reluctant to listen to the complaint and asked my wife to call the Distributor. She then informed the distributor at around 10.20 at 24640711 and booked the complaint. The Distributor said that they will send the mechanic to check the same at around 4.00 pm.
                      My mother had to stop cooking and ordered food from outside. Ultimately nobody turned up to address the complaint.
                      Seeking immediate action from the authority regarding this issue. Also, request the Consumer Forum to note the complaint.

                        I booked for supply of Gas on 18th June 2009, even after 16 days, the gas cylinder was not supplied to me. Hence, on 4th July, I called up the Agency and reminded them and I was told that the cylinder will be supplied on 4th itself. However, the cylnder did not reach us till Monday morning (6/7/09). Hence, I called up Prathana's office and to my surprise, I was told that the delivery man had come to my house on 4th (Saturday) and he found the house locked and therefore, the order has been cancelled. I was very much annoyed and lodged a complained with IOC's regional office. The person who took the complaint promissed me that the gas cylinder will be delivered on Monday (6th June). But, the supply did not take place untill the evening 6pm.

                        This is not the first time, the delivery boy of the Prathana always create problem and nuisance. Once, the delivery boy supplied a cylinder and 2 days later came to our place and said that 4 days before he delivered the cylinder, somebody had already supplied one cylinder and therefore, we should return the cylinder that he gave us. Truly speeking we did not receive any more cylinder. He was urguing for long time and when I told him that I will lodge a complaint in the police station, he left the place.

                        I would request IOC to take appropriate action against Prathana Gas Agency to regularize the supply and instruct them to appoint proper personnel for delivery of gas cylinder.

                        prathana gas — not supplied cylinder

                        Booked cylinder before 25 not supplied yet, if we phone not responding properly, if we go to the company telling that will come today and they told 3 times like this and moreover the customer is an old lady and she is staying alone

                        Indane Gas — Prathana Gas

                        Prathna gas agency is insisting on verification of original booking voucher for booking a refill cylinder. There is a LONG 'Q' at the counters and one has to wait in the hot Sun to get the verification done and book a refill.

                        This harassment of consumers can be avoided and if there are any administrative issues with Prathana gas this should be handled by IOC separately.

                        Request IOC officials to take note and set this right.

                          Dear Sir,

                          I am a resident member of Jaipur, India. I have tried to get a New LPG connection for my home. So I visited the nearest LPG distributor of INDANE Gas . I have visited
                          Pandit Gas Agency in Jaipur & Hawa Mahal Gas . I have visited several times every times they were telling me that the form is not available for new LPG connection it will be distributed next month. I don't know wheather the Govt . of India is aware of the fact or not If the agency is there then where the problem arise to give the new connection. They actually harass the innocent citizen every time. If you have the backing or you will have to get it by paying the bribe so I think then you will get that. If India is thinking to give the competion to be a devlop nation the dream will never be fulfilled if certain kind o[censored]nregulated agency exists.

                            Hello Sir

                            This is one of the worst experinces I ever had with this company.I have booked gas 10 days ago in indian gas agency AGNI DHWAJ located at Chintalmet, hyderabad.the contact nubers they give to contact them are 24012896/24013742 I understand that these lines would be busy as customers would eb calling but not to an extent that I called continously for 90 minutes but the busy tone was teh only answer for me.In fact I tried whole day the response I got is the same.Not only me I have a seen lady coming to public both and trying for these numbers evry one hour and almost broke into tears for the same response.I suspect the employees here are irresponsible and put the receiver in busy mode.and this is worst cudtomer service.,

                            Sir, I have booked for the refilling of gas in M/s.Visvanath Indane gas Agency on 27/11/2009, but so far I couldn't the refilled cylendar. My consumer ID No.30128. All most all the peoples are facing the same problem in Bsk 3rd Stage, Bangalore.

                            I kindly request you to take necessary action to send the refilled Cylendar as soon as Possible. I hope you will consider my request.
                            Sir, I have booked for the refilling of gas in M/s..JAMNA GAS SERVICE 106, OUT SIDE SAIYAR GATE JHANSI on 17/11/2011, but so far I couldn't the refilled cylendar. My consumer ID No.2595. All most all the peoples are facing the same problemIN jhansi.

                            I kindly request you to take necessary action to send the refilled Cylendar as soon as Possible. I hope you will consider my request.

                              dear sir,

                              I want to say that i consumer Indane gas no. 1986. Bhagwan Swarup Gupta, Sarai Kutub, Oppisite Temple, Aligarh, but unfortunetly I always receive very low weight cylinder minimum low 1 to 2.5 kg. hawker say do you want full weight you go agency. so please look into matter sympathetically.

                                Dear Respected Sir,

                                Ref: My Consumer No. AN/9678

                                I would like to draw your kind attention to the fact that I have booked for Refill of my gas cylinder on 03/07/2009 to M/s. The Annapurna, Indane Distributor, Apcar Garden,
                                Asansol-713304. West Bengal. Code No.39010551

                                At the time of booking, they assured us that gas cylinder will be available within 7 days so I can collect after 7 days.

                                I feel sorry to inform you that neither the said dealer is giving any response to my call nor they are entertaining the customer at their counter.

                                Phones of agency are either hung or no body is responding. Sometimes they pick the phone then immediately they hang the phone for unknown reasons.

                                I have visited the agency several times but they always assured with surety that I can collect tomorrow but their tomorrow never comes. I was arrogantly told that it will come tomorrow but the gas never turned up. When I went there myself,
                                Already 12 have passed but I never get any proper satisfactory response from them.

                                I would like to ask the said dealer through you:

                                1) Why they are always late in delivery?

                                2) What benefit they get by not entertaining the customers’?

                                3) Is there any time barred by the company to book the cylinder after getting the refilled cylinder?

                                Please intervene in the matter and solve the issue.

                                I would be grateful if you given special attention on my problem.

                                It will be good for all customers if IOC can salvage something and not let its distributors do whatever they like.

                                I am a customer of Indane . My distributer is Jai Jawan agencies in Dwarka ( near Ram phal Chowk), new Delhi and my customer no is 44439. I have booked for refill about 10 days ago but till date I have not received the refill.

                                Refill is freely available if you are willing to pay Rs. 50 extra in black market but not available thru normal channel.

                                Phones of ageny are either hung or no body is responding.

                                You are requested to look into the matter.

                                Dealer Shivanika Enterprises Jhilmil has never supplied gas for more than one month despite the fact i have personally visited them twice and booked gas on tomo service.They never pickup their phones.

                                  I am Santimoy Chakraborty & my consumer's number is 11385 in Indane Gas. I am 85 years old. I had booked my LPG on 29/05/'09 by booking number 17898. Our dealer is m/s Baruipur Gas Service Ukilpara, Kulpi Road, Kolkata 700144. The gas dealer initially could not locate my booking but assured me a delivery of LPG cylinder on the next day when ever contacted. For that last 10 days I am running pillar to post but the dealer has not delivered the LPG till day although I had contacted m/s Baruipur Gas service regularly.

                                  I am Anjali Dey, C/o, Sri Jayanta Kumar Dey a Sr. Citizen my Consumer No. 7361 for Indane Gas registered under the dealer FAIR DEAL GAS CORNER, of 16/1A, CREEK ROW, KOLKATA-700014 had booked for a supply a cylinder vide ducat no. 203994 dated 04.07.2011 but unfortunately after waiting for a long period when gas was not supplied I had again booked on your online service and the ducat no. was 208703 dated 04.08.2011, but the result was same. Then I had sent my daughter for enquiry in the dealer’s showroom, the dealer intimated that due to wrong procedure of booking the delivery could not be made. However, my daughter once again had booked on your online service and the ducat no. provided to me is 210266 dated 17.08.2011, after the said booking from your office a confirmation sms have been received by me with your assurance of supplying the cylinder soon. Despite again waiting a long period my daughter visited the dealer’s shop and when she had enquired about the delay the dealer misbehaved with my daughter and failed to assure the probable date of delivery of the gas cylinder. Please note myself is an old lady with my husband in very critical lying in the bed. Now suffering for cooking our foods. Hence, I request you to kindly look into the matter sympathetically and arrange for immediate delivery of the gas cylinder and oblige.
                                  Further to the above please also note that this type of behavior and irregular supplies had become a regular feature of the said dealer. For your more knowledge in the matter you can enquire with the customers of the said dealer and gate my complaint confirmed.
                                  Hope, you will take necessary action in the matter promptly with intimation to me.

                                  i have booked for refilling of my cylinder on 15.03.12 having booking no.293717. on checking it was found that my cash memo no.9885, but the gas cylinder is yet to be received. my distributor krishna kishore completed the distribution up to 05.04.12. then why i did not get my cylinder in time?
                                  My self Smt Anjali Saha, consumer no SG0920, I am a consumer of Singur Gas Service (Code 260508) cont. no. 26302240, I booked a cylinder on 18/06/[protected] and get the sms for cash memo no(312).but till date i didn't revived the same.When I asked the dealer, he behave very rudely. As I am a senior citizen so its very difficult to move every time to dealer end.

                                    Hardships in getting a New Indane Gas Connection


                                    I have requested for a new Gas Connection to the Indian Oil Corporation dealer Venkatasai Gas Agencies, PT No. 68, Vittal Rao Nagar, Madhapur, Hyderabad under the following details of registration (Running Sl. No. 5395; New Connection – Registration [protected] dt 24/06/2009). As told by Mr. Bhaskar (Staff of Venkatasai Gas Agencies; Mobile: [protected]), I did receive a communication via post and I approached him in office on 6th July 2009, for getting the New supply of Gas . It was acknowledged and said when you buy new Gas Stove from them, they will effect the delivery of the cylinder and other accessories immediately”. I politely declined the offer as we already have a working Prestige Gas stove with ISI mark and requested to supply a Gas Cylinder, regulator and tube alone. Then Mr. Bhaskar said that he will come to my residence on 11th July 2009, for inspection of the Gas stove and based on that he will be able to give new Gas Connection to my registration. I said ok. On 11th July, all our family members were anxiously awaiting his presence for inspection foregoing all our outside important work. But nobody came to my residence for inspection on that day. While I phoned up to him for the absence, I was replied that he couldn’t attend because of his multifarious other work. But anyhow he will attend on 12th July ( Sunday). I too believed him and waited on the whole Sunday but in vain. Even on 12th July 2009, our calls to him proved futile. We even tried on 13th July 2009 (Monday). Again improper response from him without any service motive.

                                    All such happenings made us think that just because we didn’t agree to purchase a new Gas stove from the above Indane dealer, we were taken for a ride. This being the case, Indane could have made it compulsory to buy the Gas stove for New Gas Connection though it is legally incorrect.

                                    I really wonder, how come such awful dealers are being appointed and maintained by Indian Oil corporation which deteriorates the brand equity of INDANE. I urge the authorities concerned to look into the matter at the earliest and serve the needy in a much reasonable way.

                                      To: Concerned Authority,

                                      Due to the recent change/decision of automatic booking after 30 days has turned into a problem of delivery. I am consumer of Indane Gas being dealt with the agency ASAL Durg Entt., Gandhi Path, Chitrakoot, Jaipur. The last delivery given to me was on 22nd May-2006 and the delivery person came to me with cylinder on 6th July which means after 15 days of delivery. I asked to come back becaue I do not have the empty cylinder to take the delivery. If delivery man comes after 30/35 days, I would have option to receive the delivery. I made a complaint on this with Agency and the lady assured me to give delivery again after 30 days. But even after 45 days I did not receive the delivery even after making another complaint. Now I understood that my booking was cancelled twice and asked me to book it again. I think it is a case suspecious and the ageny is getting flexibility to black marketing and the genuine consumer is facing serious problem. Now, I am unable to fire my stove without gas leading to problem in feeding/ending my school going children.

                                      I want an explanation and quick delivery.
