I applied for Domestic LPG connection to IOC through its distributor M/s NCR Indane (SAP-123846), Bhiwadi vide receipt no. 3461 dt. 02.03.08.

I have received a letter from NCR Indane, for release of Gas connection, but the distributor is insisting that I should buy a Gas Stove from them other wise they will not be releasing the connection. They say ' itne amount lae aao toh connection mil jaye gaa'.

I already own a good quality ISI Mark Gas stove and do not want to buy other one. For this I want to register a complaint that connection should be released to me, after verification of gas stove by IOC, as per the procedure.

    Refusal to book refill order

    I am using Indane gas domestic LPG Cylinder since April'2004 under single cylinder scheme. When I had approached on 8th Sept'2008 for booking refill order, the TUCS Distributor refuse to book for refill cylinder saying that I should get clearance from IOC (Indane gas divn.) as I am having single cylinder in Bharat Gas also. When I apporached the Indane gas divn, they are asking to surrender the Bharat gas connection then only they...

    Companies like Indane Gas are a curse on a country like India. There is no responsible person available in the Indane gas agency outlets and it works according to the wish and will of the staff available there. Bribes are mandatory in companies like "Indane Gas", such a shame on the country and the managment of Indane gas. I call this as shameless company and shameless staff of Indane Gas, which is bringing shame to the entire country. No wonder people are looking to move to abroad to have a better quality of life.

      Dear Sir,
      I am the Indian Oil Gas customer in hyderabad. I transfered my gas connection form Delhi to Hyd in Dec 2006. On 25th Dec I applied for the second cylinder also, till this date i didn't get the second cylinder (DBC). When i tired to call Indian oil customer care number, most of the time they didn't pick the phone, and by chance one in month if any one pick the phone they are telling we dont have any information about DBC connection keep calling. it's very difficult to mange with one cylinder. I went twice at the Indian Oil office in Himayat nagar i.e. 25 km far form my home and they are not ready to talk about that issue also. My customer care number is 21478 and my DBC booking number is 328. Could any one help me out form this situation.

        I have booked for delivery of my gas cylinder at Airawat Gas Agency, Air Force Station Yelahanka, Bangalore -64 on 25 Aug 2008. My consumer no is 4161. Gas is delivered till 09 Sep 2008. On enquiry it is observed that the gas cylinders are already delivered to many of the consumer in the same areas, who has booked after me. When contacted the manager it was told that he would be sending the cylinder on Tuesday that is today. It is also learned from many that the cylinders are delivering to the unauthorised by taking extra payments. Kindly look into this and fix this sort of attituedes by the agencies.

        Anomalies in Delivery of GAS Cylinder
        I have booked for delivery of my gas cylinder at C.lal And sons. Gas Agency, Kashmiri Gate, Delhi-54 on 2.12 2010. My consumer no is 14466. Gas is delivered till 15.12.2010. On enquiry it is observed that the gas cylinders are already delivered to many of the consumer in the same areas, who has booked after me. When It is also learned from many that the cylinders are delivering to the unauthorised by taking extra payments. Kindly look into this and fix this sort of attituedes by the agencies.

          Sir,

          I am the consumer of Indane Gas bearing consumer No.: 28430, the supply of refill of cylinder through Jai Jawan Gas Services, Sector-7, Dwarka, New Delhi-110075. I have a practice to book for the refill of cylinder with dealer directly over the phone. After many telephonic attempts when we got connected we were put on hold for a long time, then the receiving person refuse to take our request stating that I am not eligible for booking at this time or any other reason known to him and put off the phone. On advice of one of our well wisher I start the booking for the refill of cylinder through computerized Toll Free No. 1260 of Indane Gas. I suprised to note that the delivery of refill of cylinder were become more late in comparison with direct booking with dealer. I strongly contempt the attitude and request the higher authorities to take the complaint against the system and practice of the dealer. Further I request to acknowledge my complaint and rectify earliest possible. My present on Dated: 28-08-08, through Computerised Tol Free No. 1260. But am not receive any cylinder yet. I Hope to get the delivery of refill of cylinder immediately. Other complain regarding to issue the second cylinder is that the agency said, the second cylinder issue in November and cost of cylinder is Rs. 1650. In my knowledge the cost of cylinder (security deposit) is Rs. 900 only. One things say that the new connection are available at present and issue daily about 50 connections said agency. Why the not issue the second cylinder.

          I am the consumer of Indane Gas bearing consumer No.: 3239 the supply of refill of cylinder through Guruvayurappan Agency, No. 5/10 Andavar Nagar, 5th Street, Kodambakkam, near Gagaiamman Koil, Chennai 600 024.
          I used to book for the refill of cylinder with the dealer directly over the phone. After many telephonic attempts when we got connected we were put on hold for a long time, then the receiving person refuse to take our request stating that there is no stock at that time and put off the phone.
          I have not received the cylinder in time and they delay upto 10-20 days. I request you to take immediate action in this regard.

            dear sir, iam a Indane gas customer living in thanjavur district in tamilnadu.my date of registration is on[protected].no:1898892 and my gas connection no: 12923.recently our chief minister announced rs/30.00 for a single gas customers.when i am booking for my current gas cylinder in my local indane gas cylynder : Aravind gas agencies, kalyan nagar, municipal colny, thanjavur-613007.tehy refused to supply the gas cylynder since i will not renew my old ration card .my ration card has been booked on 1998 to 2003.due to my personnel reasons i can not reneval my ration card.eventhough up to my previous month ie.august -2008, i have regularly got my gas cylynder.even i didn't want the rs/30.oo discount for my gas cylynder amount, they refuse to supply my gas to me.they strictly asked to bring a new RATION CARD to avail the gsa cylynder.since iam a single cylynder customer and hoew possible for me to get a new RATION CARD immediately.you are all well known to get a new ration card it will take more than month.till that times iam deeply suffering without gas connection for my family.
            hence i request you kindly do the needful steps to avail my gas connection from the Indane gas company.
            please note when iam complained my complaints to my area indanne sales officer and divsional office, they simly rejected my grienvences and woundede me.

            Dear Sir,

            This special complint, 10 years back an Anantapur Municipality has two INDANE GAS distributers namely, Sri PAVAN Gas Agencis and ANAND Gas Agencies, to supply the gas around 2 to 3 lakhs Gas connections. Now the Anantapur Municipality population increased gradually around 10 lakhs and more. But the supplying agencies same. If we think the situation of Gas agencies how they supply these increased people, Recently one incident occured on M/s Anand Gas Agencies, one of the customer quarrelled with proprietor and then bitten him seviourly, then subsequenly the agency was siezed by the Honourable Collector of Anantapur, and then it was transfer to M/s Pavan Gas Agency, these agency has a sufficient staff, how they supply entire Anantapur. Is this situation known by the sales officers or Not? why because they do not have problems with gas Agencies. Please concerned officers take necessary steps to resue irregular supply of Gas.

            My Consumer no 8273 and gas Agency is Minigas agency, Kundara, Kollam, Kerala.I booked my gas after 21 days from previous supply of gas at Ernakulam through automatic booking facility( As per the instruction of gas agency ).My booking no. is 101 Dtd 3/08/09. But even after repeated request I am only get the gas at 28/08/09, also their is a problem of not responding through phone. Their phones are always engaged. Kindly take necessory steps for the issuing the gas on time and proper response through phone. This is not an individual case.
            My Consumer no D 911 and gas Agency is Minigas agency, Kundara, Kollam, Kerala.I booked my gas on 28/08/2009 through Internet booking facility( As per the instruction of gas agency ).My booking no. is 02 Dtd 28/08/09.             Dear Sir,

            I am Abraham. I am residing at Chennai. My Aged Parents are living in my native place named by Papanasam, Thanjavur Dist. Every time i am visited in my native town, my parents are complaint about Indane gas suppliers, they are not supply the gas cylinders properly for registered cylinders. When i am asking about this at GEEPEE Gas Agencies, they are not response, in case they are replied that the "booked cylinder was supplied". This is not occurring one time or two time. Most of times, they are selling illegally for small amounts.

            When my parents asked them, they told "give more money we will arrange the cylinder immediately" like that. If supposed to asked them what about our booked cylinder, the supplier told my parents that booked cylinder date was barred so do it again. In last week my parents asked the supplier, immediately He asked to bring consumer book and he noted the delivery date and signed without their knowledge without delivery of cylinder. So please consider my complaints as general and send your peoples there for inspection. That agencies is doing more illegal activities. Please save the papanasam people.

            This is Sherief M.M from kottarakkara. I have booked a cylinder and we have been informed from Orient Gas Agency, Kottarakara, kollam district, kerala that its issue has been done on 1.11.10. But we have not recieved it to date.We have been repeatedly enquiring about it. But no action has been taken.It has been more than 45 days since we booked the cylinder.               I am Having An Insdane Gas Connection (two Cylinders) Consumer No. 18446 with Binosd Gas Distributors, Area Sindri, Dist.- Dhanbad, State ; - Jharkhand, since last 8 yrs. (28/05/2000).
              The authority which distributes the gas is openly black-marketting the cylenders. on the other hand the genuine consumers is being harrashed ; they are forced to get only one cylinder in two months (thats too without slip)

              I have booked my cylender on 08/08/08 but still not got the cylender at the other hand many of the hotels and other commercial users using 4-5 cylenders(house hold) in a month.

              One of the employee Subhash (residence at riverside) using household LPG Gas Cylender In his vehicle (Maruti Van) which is totally illeagle.

                  I have booked a gas cylinder on 19-08-08, with the gas service no.38975 name is Ramana. they told that gas will get with in a week, but till now we did not recieve any kind of gas rite now we dont have any gas at my home every thing is empty. so kindly i request you to go thorough this problem in Hyderabad (himayath nagar, Amar gas services) even every one is facing this problem. so we kindly request you people to solve this problem. we dont even know what's happening with the cylinders.

                    Every time I book cylinder with the hope to receive the same within week, which distributor claims as well.

                    But every time I have to follow up number of times before it can be delivered. Normal time is 15 days or more.

                    Would like to draw the attention of authority for the abnormality in the distribution process.

                      I am a LPG Indane gas customer with Sudheendra Indane gas agency (Indane LPG distributors), 2nd main 80 feet, Hennur road, HBR layout Bangalore... 25440772, 25441772, 22726696, 25434221, 25436995


                      My consumer number is S26303, I have booked for Additional cylinder on 26-Sept-2007.
                      And had been informed that will be receiving the connection in 6th months from the booking date..
                      But I dint not get any intimation from Indane (Indian Oil Corporation) dealer as such
                      Not at received my connection, when I enquired they say that still 2006 booked customers dint get the connection and government is not issuing any cylinders..
                      They would have told us at the time of booking… but this does not happened.
                      Im not sure how true it is, please make sure what exactly the problem do let me know..
                      Please do some thing on this as im facing too much problem..
                      We cant book the cylinder unless it empty.. and need to up to 10+ days after booking.. so what do I do for so many days.
                      Or else if I book the cylinder before hand after the 30 days or then I will receive it after 10+ and I had give my running cylinder..
                      Im facing too much Problem due to this..

                      Please take some action on this.. and let me get the connection as soon as possible.. at least the proper date when will I get the Connection

                        Dear Sir or Madam,

                        I am staying in Kullu, Himachal Pradesh and having a gas connection with Indane Distributor "Spick-n-Span" (Phone no. [protected]) since 27.12.07. My consumer No. is 26177. We book our gas refill to the distributor on phone, but we are facing always delay in the delivery of cylinder. This time I booked my refill order on 22.08.08 and was been given waiting no. 4979. The person who attended the phone and given me the waiting no. assured for the delivery of cylinder after a week. After 10 days on September 1st, when I called up on distributors', they informed delivery will go tomorrow. Next day again I called up and the answer was same. On 3rd Sep. owner of the shop informed me that delivery boy has gone to my house area and today defenitely he will deliver. Today on 5th when I reached to distributors' to ask the status, they started talking abusly. They were three-four persons dealt very badly. I only asked to tell me that which date and what waiting no. is being delivered today, they said we can't tell this to consumer. Every time I am getting my gas delivery after following up atleast for ten times with atleast 20 phone calls. Please look in to the matter. Thanks and Regards,

                        Indane Gas — irregularity/ delay in delivery of gas cylinder

                        Name of Distributor: Uday gas agency. Naroda road, Ahmedabad.
                        consumer no. 28377.
                        With great sorrow I would have to inform my frustration for poor services.
                        (1) IVRS no.1260 does not informed cylinder booking number.
                        (2) I have booked gas cylinder on 03/12/2008 but till date ( i.e 16/12/2008.) cylinder not delivered.
                        (3)Forced to book the cylinder afer 21 days of previous delivery.
                        (4) Almost every booking I found the delivery of gas cylinder afetr 15 days or more after booking.
                        (5) Some times booking status is not cleared hence required rebooking, this takes more week or two week for getting delivery after continuous pursuation to distributor.
                        (6) poor response in this regard from distributor.


                        Your favourable action in this regard will be highly appreciated.

                        Indian Oil corporation / Indane gas — delay in delivery of refills

                        I hv a gas connection(Single) with Sri Ram Gas Agencies in Coimbatore.
                        I m not getting the refills in time.
                        1. Actually a consumer can book a refill after 21 day.
                        But here they take only after 30 days.

                        2. After the booking they take 8 - 10 days to deliver the refill


                        3. For this, they charge service charge of Rs.12 (Extra from the billed amount)

                        So, to get a refill cylinder i have to wait for 40 + days.
                        This trouble is with most of the dealers. But the irresponsible Government is not taking any measure to rectify. 21days time is illegal according to "Andhra Jyithi", a Telugu news daily dt.6-6-09. The same informatoin can be got from any district gas company office using RTI (right to get information).

Till date (22 September 2009) I haven't got my cylinder and was told that it will take another two days i.e. Thursday 24.9.09 to deliver the cylinder. They don't inform the booking number also while making booking over phone. I request that the system may please be streamlined to ensure hassle-free service to the customers.

                        INDIAN OIL CORPORATION -- INDANE GAS — DELAY IN DELIVERY OF CYLINDER

                        My IOC Gas consumer No is 6745. This is registered with M/s Sri Revathy Indane Gas Agency, Medavakkam, Chennai - 600 073
                        I have registered for a refiled cylinder in November and the billing was done by them on 13th Dec. I was promised delivery on 31st Dec.Since it was not delivered again personaly visited on Monday 3rd Jan because 1st Jan and 2nd Jan was a holiday and was assured delivery on the same day. Since it was not delivered again visited personally today 4th and again same assurance was given.
                        Till the time of writing this complaint it is not yet delivered.
                        Request your immediate action in this regard and also request that it doesn't happen in future.

                        IOC / Indane — delay in refill delivery

                        I have registered with SHIVSHANKAR GAS AGENCY , PORUR , Chennai-600116.
                        My consumer no 26922 . I bkd for my refill on 5th of April 2011 . by SMS and Email to my agency . I got a reply that i will be getting my refill by 4 days on 6th of April . But i have not received the same and we are not able to get their numbers also . Kindly look into the matter and do the needful .

Past three years I am noticing that when ever I book for refill I get only after 12 to 15 days. This really troubles me in cooking. Sometimes I have beg my friend for a cylinder. When I asked the manager, he say he is helpless and can not do anything. If the authority can look into it.

                          Dear Sir,
                          This isto draw your kindattention that I am consumer of Indane gas From Dogra agency, Dighawani, Parasia, In chhindwara district in M.P Through Franchisee Ganesh Gupta in Newton Colliery, Parasia.
                          There is shortage of gas and therefore he charges extra 100 to150 Rupees per gas to give consumer their gas, moreover he never take bookings and supplies gases to his acquatances and in motels and hotels depriving the consumers.
                          we the consumers are left with no other option but to pay high prices for getting per cylinder of gas.
                          so, it is my earnest request to kindly intervene into the matter and take decision accordingly

                          I am a consumer of Indane gas company and I am belongs to the agency Ranie enterprises, nanganallore. their delivery boys delivering the cyclinder by forcibly getting excess payment. the bill s only Rs.352.35 but they get Rs.380. I asked why but the delivery boy misbehaved. I request you to take action. if this continues next time and If you failed to take action then I may ve to go to consumer court to register case against Indane gas company.                             Unfortunately I am consumer of your gas agency name Bedi Indane, B-43, Kartar Nagar, Main 3½ Pusta, Delhi-110053, Ph. 22946868, 22946800, Consumer No. BI-2119 Delhi last somany years. Firstly phones line always busy i[censored] want to book ur gas then u have to wait two hour or so. They booked gas after 15 or 20 days and send our home after 10 days when We make many time call to him. They already book my cylinder when I book my cylinder. They book my cylinder himself and doing black marketing to it. When I am going to his office they send my cylinder without booking. This is very rediculious. i would request you to pls do something otherwise i have to go another way. thats it.
                            i am consumer of indane, (agency : OM DOMESTIC GAS APPLIANCES, MOHAMMAD RAFI CHOWK, YADAV NAGAR, NAGPUR). MY CONSUMER NO IS 01635. THE AGENCY PEOPLE DO NOT DELIVER THE GAS EVEN AFTER REPEATED REMINDERS FOR 20-21 DAYS. AND BOOKS FOR THE NEXT ONLY AFTER 21 DAYS OF THE DELIVERY. HENCE IT BECOMES OVER 40 DAYS FOR A CYLINDER. IF COMPLAINT FOR THIS TO THE AGENCY, USELESS. PLEASE DO SOMETHING TO RELEAVE US FROM THIS AGENCY ATTITUDE.

I had booked my gas on 05.05.2010. But till date i've not received the delivery of gas. I had also visited the vendor's office on 29-05-10 and had reported the issue to the booking clerck. As per their record the receipt for issue of gas has already been released on 25.05.2010. But the same has not been delivered yet.

                            Sub.: To complaint against non delivery.

                            I have book my cylinder via TOMOGAS Service on 19-Nov-2010 of booking no.19 of consumer No. 22592, but the same had delivered to any other person or says black a cyclinder to any one. But I tried to complaint many times but no one pick the phone.

                            I have book further 06-Dec-2010 of booking No. 46 via same channel That is TOMOGAS but till date thier is no response. I[censored] don't deliver till tommorow I will report to higer authority or go to consumer court.

                              This is to inform you that I had booked for LPG gas cylinder on August 30, 2008 and the gas agency "Sahaj Enterprises" told me that they will deliver the cylinder after 4-5 days. Today, I called the agency, now they told me that they will be able to supply the cylinder after 10-12 days.

                              Further to inform you that each and every time after booking they deliver the cylinder after 10-15 days later.

                              My humble request to you, please take the necessary action in this regard so that consumer harassment will be stopped.

                                Dear Sir,
                                I am a consumer of Indane gas (Consumer no.23457) through M/s Parul Gas Agency, Hardev Nagar, Jharoda, Delhi-110084. I have booked Gas on 25.08.2008 and delivery boy (Mr. Rajesh) brought the cylinder on 01.09.2008 around 3.00 pm. That time I was not at home, my father asked him to bring the weighing machine and he replied that my machine out of order since last three months. After that my father refused to take the cylinder without weighing because since last months he delivered the leakage cylinder and also threat that (Lena hai to lo nai to apki gas hamesha ke liye band karwa dunga). Then my father informed me over phone at that time I was in office and I tried to talk in above gas agency but there is no person to attend the phone.

                                Please note that the delivery boy was not in Indane Uniform and he had no weighing machine which is mandatory.

                                This is clearly shows that agencies persons are involved in this type of theft. Without agencies people how delivery boy can do the same.

                                Please take the necessary action against the M/s Parul Gas Agency and Mr. Rajesh also.

                                We had already told to the agency many times but there is no proper response from their side.

                                After that I had sent a mail to Mr. Ashok Chhatwani, Sales Officer, but there is no response towerds him. So I am sending this mail to you.

                                  I am a low usage consumer of LPG consuming 1 cylinder every 6-8 months. We assiduously try to conserve gas due to environmental and social reasons. A few days back, I tried to book a refill (after 8 months), I was told that my connection has been deactivated and I have to go to area office to get it reactivated. In the area office I explained my position and the officer endorsed my application and assured me that my annual consumption of 2-3 cylinders would be noted and I would not be bothered again. When I went to the dealer, I was informed that since the "new software" would not accept a one time endoresmet I have to go to the area office EACH time I want a new cylinder and get an fresh endorsement. I called the area office again and told the dealer to talk to the official. Then the official told me that "either I can get the endorsement every time or I can discontinue the service".

                                  I wrote a complaint to the IOC from their website, and got a stock reply that it is their "policy". Request for further information on this poilcy has been ignored.

                                  I would like to file an RTI to find out what this "policy" is. As consumers are we not supposed to know what this policy is? How can IOC deactivate the acct. without any notice? Since this is a recent phenomenon how come they did not inform the public about this?

                                  When I was at the agency I was surprised to note that many consumers were in the same position.

                                  I have checked with HP, they also have this new policy.

                                  My consumer No. is 41838, Sardhana Enterprises, Bengaluru. I faced a similar problem. In view of the restricted supply of gas cylinder to a consumer, I felt it prudent to use it as long as possible. But ironically, instead it had an adverse effect- my account was de-activated because I had not booked for a new cylinder before 6 months from the previous supply. I had to shuttle between the distributor and the area office to get it activated. It was a great strain being 75yrs old. When there is short-supply of gas, instead of appreciating those who are using the gas frugally, they are penalised. The irrational rule should go.

                                    Booking for a new connection

                                    Sir,
                                    I am residing in Babarpur area. I went to Babarpur Gas Agency to book a new LPG connection. But they said that booking for a new connection is closed.

                                    Please tell me that truely booking for a new connection is closed and if it is true then when I can book for new connection.
