I am a LPG Indane gas customer with Sudheendra Indane gas agency (Indane LPG distributors), 2nd main 80 feet, Hennur road, HBR layout Bangalore... 25440772, 25441772, 22726696, 25434221, 25436995


My consumer number is S26303, I have booked for Additional cylinder on 26-Sept-2007.
And had been informed that will be receiving the connection in 6th months from the booking date..
But I dint not get any intimation from Indane (Indian Oil Corporation) dealer as such
Not at received my connection, when I enquired they say that still 2006 booked customers dint get the connection and government is not issuing any cylinders..
They would have told us at the time of booking… but this does not happened.
Im not sure how true it is, please make sure what exactly the problem do let me know..
Please do some thing on this as im facing too much problem..
We cant book the cylinder unless it empty.. and need to up to 10+ days after booking.. so what do I do for so many days.
Or else if I book the cylinder before hand after the 30 days or then I will receive it after 10+ and I had give my running cylinder..
Im facing too much Problem due to this..

Please take some action on this.. and let me get the connection as soon as possible.. at least the proper date when will I get the Connection

    Dear Sir or Madam,

    I am staying in Kullu, Himachal Pradesh and having a gas connection with Indane Distributor "Spick-n-Span" (Phone no. [protected]) since 27.12.07. My consumer No. is 26177. We book our gas refill to the distributor on phone, but we are facing always delay in the delivery of cylinder. This time I booked my refill order on 22.08.08 and was been given waiting no. 4979. The person who attended the phone and given me the waiting no. assured for the delivery of cylinder after a week. After 10 days on September 1st, when I called up on distributors', they informed delivery will go tomorrow. Next day again I called up and the answer was same. On 3rd Sep. owner of the shop informed me that delivery boy has gone to my house area and today defenitely he will deliver. Today on 5th when I reached to distributors' to ask the status, they started talking abusly. They were three-four persons dealt very badly. I only asked to tell me that which date and what waiting no. is being delivered today, they said we can't tell this to consumer. Every time I am getting my gas delivery after following up atleast for ten times with atleast 20 phone calls. Please look in to the matter. Thanks and Regards,

    Indane Gas — irregularity/ delay in delivery of gas cylinder

    Name of Distributor: Uday gas agency. Naroda road, Ahmedabad.
    consumer no. 28377.
    With great sorrow I would have to inform my frustration for poor services.
    (1) IVRS no.1260 does not informed cylinder booking number.
    (2) I have booked gas cylinder on 03/12/2008 but till date ( i.e 16/12/2008.) cylinder not delivered.
    (3)Forced to book the cylinder afer 21 days of previous delivery.
    (4) Almost every booking I found the delivery of gas cylinder afetr 15 days or more after booking.
    (5) Some times booking status is not cleared hence required rebooking, this takes more week or two week for getting delivery after continuous pursuation to distributor.
    (6) poor response in this regard from distributor.


    Your favourable action in this regard will be highly appreciated.

    I hv a gas connection(Single) with Sri Ram Gas Agencies in Coimbatore.
    I m not getting the refills in time.
    1. Actually a consumer can book a refill after 21 day.
    But here they take only after 30 days.

    2. After the booking they take 8 - 10 days to deliver the refill


    3. For this, they charge service charge of Rs.12 (Extra from the billed amount)

    So, to get a refill cylinder i have to wait for 40 + days.
    This trouble is with most of the dealers. But the irresponsible Government is not taking any measure to rectify. 21days time is illegal according to "Andhra Jyithi", a Telugu news daily dt.6-6-09. The same informatoin can be got from any district gas company office using RTI (right to get information).

Till date (22 September 2009) I haven't got my cylinder and was told that it will take another two days i.e. Thursday 24.9.09 to deliver the cylinder. They don't inform the booking number also while making booking over phone. I request that the system may please be streamlined to ensure hassle-free service to the customers.

Till date (01 Octomber 2009) I haven't got my cylinder and was told that it will take another two days i.e. Thursday 08.10.2009 to deliver the cylinder. They don't inform the booking number also while making booking over phone. I request that the system may please be streamlined to ensure hassle-free service to the customers.

    INDIAN OIL CORPORATION -- INDANE GAS — DELAY IN DELIVERY OF CYLINDER

    My IOC Gas consumer No is 6745. This is registered with M/s Sri Revathy Indane Gas Agency, Medavakkam, Chennai - 600 073
    I have registered for a refiled cylinder in November and the billing was done by them on 13th Dec. I was promised delivery on 31st Dec.Since it was not delivered again personaly visited on Monday 3rd Jan because 1st Jan and 2nd Jan was a holiday and was assured delivery on the same day. Since it was not delivered again visited personally today 4th and again same assurance was given.
    Till the time of writing this complaint it is not yet delivered.
    Request your immediate action in this regard and also request that it doesn't happen in future.

    IOC / Indane — delay in refill delivery

    I have registered with SHIVSHANKAR GAS AGENCY , PORUR , Chennai-600116.
    My consumer no 26922 . I bkd for my refill on 5th of April 2011 . by SMS and Email to my agency . I got a reply that i will be getting my refill by 4 days on 6th of April . But i have not received the same and we are not able to get their numbers also . Kindly look into the matter and do the needful .

    I have register with Nataraj Enterprises, Indane Gas Distributors, Yelahanka, Bangalore. The consumer no is 50074. Past three years I am noticing that when ever I book for refill I get only after 12 to 15 days. This really troubles me in cooking. Sometimes I have beg my friend for a cylinder. When I asked the manager, he say he is helpless and can not do anything. If the authority can look into it.

Almost every booking I found the delivery of gas cylinder after 40 to 50 days or more after booking. Please look into the issue & resolve the same as I am not able to make a booking.

      Dear Sir,
      This isto draw your kindattention that I am consumer of Indane gas From Dogra agency, Dighawani, Parasia, In chhindwara district in M.P Through Franchisee Ganesh Gupta in Newton Colliery, Parasia.
      There is shortage of gas and therefore he charges extra 100 to150 Rupees per gas to give consumer their gas, moreover he never take bookings and supplies gases to his acquatances and in motels and hotels depriving the consumers.
      we the consumers are left with no other option but to pay high prices for getting per cylinder of gas.
      so, it is my earnest request to kindly intervene into the matter and take decision accordingly

      I am a consumer of Indane gas company and I am belongs to the agency Ranie enterprises, nanganallore. their delivery boys delivering the cyclinder by forcibly getting excess payment. the bill s only Rs.352.35 but they get Rs.380. I asked why but the delivery boy misbehaved. I request you to take action. if this continues next time and If you failed to take action then I may ve to go to consumer court to register case against Indane gas company.         Unfortunately I am consumer of your gas agency name Bedi Indane, B-43, Kartar Nagar, Main 3½ Pusta, Delhi-110053, Ph. 22946868, 22946800, Consumer No. BI-2119 Delhi last somany years. Firstly phones line always busy i[censored] want to book ur gas then u have to wait two hour or so. They booked gas after 15 or 20 days and send our home after 10 days when We make many time call to him. They already book my cylinder when I book my cylinder. They book my cylinder himself and doing black marketing to it. When I am going to his office they send my cylinder without booking. This is very rediculious. i would request you to pls do something otherwise i have to go another way. thats it.
        i am consumer of indane, (agency : OM DOMESTIC GAS APPLIANCES, MOHAMMAD RAFI CHOWK, YADAV NAGAR, NAGPUR). MY CONSUMER NO IS 01635. THE AGENCY PEOPLE DO NOT DELIVER THE GAS EVEN AFTER REPEATED REMINDERS FOR 20-21 DAYS. AND BOOKS FOR THE NEXT ONLY AFTER 21 DAYS OF THE DELIVERY. HENCE IT BECOMES OVER 40 DAYS FOR A CYLINDER. IF COMPLAINT FOR THIS TO THE AGENCY, USELESS. PLEASE DO SOMETHING TO RELEAVE US FROM THIS AGENCY ATTITUDE.
        You can also take the action against this type of PSU or corrupt people, Please file an RTI application and seek all the information, whatever it may be, status of all new gas connection and allotted in order, what is the current status, why not putting the add, tel no and distributorship no. everything, which you need to proov them corrupt. just send rs. 10 postal order. make sure to take the action as you suffered but don't let suffer some one else and also its your responsibility to make aware others please let me know if anymore info require "[protected]@yahoo.com". for more info ab RTI visit.

        I'm a consumer of Indane gas. My agency name & address is United India gas Agency, Sector -3 Rajendernagar, Sahibabad, Dt. Gaziabad. My consumer no is N-34002. I had booked my gas on 05.05.2010. But till date i've not received the delivery of gas. I had also visited the vendor's office on 29-05-10 and had reported the issue to the booking clerck. As per their record the receipt for issue of gas has already been released on 25.05.2010. But the same has not been delivered yet.

        Sub.: To complaint against non delivery.

        I have book my cylinder via TOMOGAS Service on 19-Nov-2010 of booking no.19 of consumer No. 22592, but the same had delivered to any other person or says black a cyclinder to any one. But I tried to complaint many times but no one pick the phone.

        I have book further 06-Dec-2010 of booking No. 46 via same channel That is TOMOGAS but till date thier is no response. I[censored] don't deliver till tommorow I will report to higer authority or go to consumer court.

          Dear Sir:

          This is to inform you that I had booked for LPG gas cylinder on August 30, 2008 and the gas agency "Sahaj Enterprises" told me that they will deliver the cylinder after 4-5 days. Today, I called the agency, now they told me that they will be able to supply the cylinder after 10-12 days.

          Further to inform you that each and every time after booking they deliver the cylinder after 10-15 days later.

          My humble request to you, please take the necessary action in this regard so that consumer harassment will be stopped.

          This is to inform you that I had booked for LPG gas canacation on Jan 2009 and the gas agency "SHAHEED SURENDAR GAS AGENCY SIYANA" told me that they will deliver the CONATION after 01 month. Today, I called the agency, now they told me that they will be able to supply the conation after 6 months of payment as Rs.3700/-(one cylender+Regulator+Pip

            Dear Sir,
            I am a consumer of Indane gas (Consumer no.23457) through M/s Parul Gas Agency, Hardev Nagar, Jharoda, Delhi-110084. I have booked Gas on 25.08.2008 and delivery boy (Mr. Rajesh) brought the cylinder on 01.09.2008 around 3.00 pm. That time I was not at home, my father asked him to bring the weighing machine and he replied that my machine out of order since last three months. After that my father refused to take the cylinder without weighing because since last months he delivered the leakage cylinder and also threat that (Lena hai to lo nai to apki gas hamesha ke liye band karwa dunga). Then my father informed me over phone at that time I was in office and I tried to talk in above gas agency but there is no person to attend the phone.

            Please note that the delivery boy was not in Indane Uniform and he had no weighing machine which is mandatory.

            This is clearly shows that agencies persons are involved in this type of theft. Without agencies people how delivery boy can do the same.

            Please take the necessary action against the M/s Parul Gas Agency and Mr. Rajesh also.

            We had already told to the agency many times but there is no proper response from their side.

            After that I had sent a mail to Mr. Ashok Chhatwani, Sales Officer, but there is no response towerds him. So I am sending this mail to you.

                I am a low usage consumer of LPG consuming 1 cylinder every 6-8 months. We assiduously try to conserve gas due to environmental and social reasons. A few days back, I tried to book a refill (after 8 months), I was told that my connection has been deactivated and I have to go to area office to get it reactivated. In the area office I explained my position and the officer endorsed my application and assured me that my annual consumption of 2-3 cylinders would be noted and I would not be bothered again. When I went to the dealer, I was informed that since the "new software" would not accept a one time endoresmet I have to go to the area office EACH time I want a new cylinder and get an fresh endorsement. I called the area office again and told the dealer to talk to the official. Then the official told me that "either I can get the endorsement every time or I can discontinue the service".

                I wrote a complaint to the IOC from their website, and got a stock reply that it is their "policy". Request for further information on this poilcy has been ignored.

                I would like to file an RTI to find out what this "policy" is. As consumers are we not supposed to know what this policy is? How can IOC deactivate the acct. without any notice? Since this is a recent phenomenon how come they did not inform the public about this?

                When I was at the agency I was surprised to note that many consumers were in the same position.

                I have checked with HP, they also have this new policy.

                My consumer No. is 41838, Sardhana Enterprises, Bengaluru. I faced a similar problem. In view of the restricted supply of gas cylinder to a consumer, I felt it prudent to use it as long as possible. But ironically, instead it had an adverse effect- my account was de-activated because I had not booked for a new cylinder before 6 months from the previous supply. I had to shuttle between the distributor and the area office to get it activated. It was a great strain being 75yrs old. When there is short-supply of gas, instead of appreciating those who are using the gas frugally, they are penalised. The irrational rule should go.

                  Please tell me that truely booking for a new connection is closed and if it is true then when I can book for new connection.

                  I have applied for new connection in Indane Gas Agency in Ganesh Nagar. Finally, Letter for new connection comes at my door step. As new rules in I am able to take away Gas Connection without Purchase of Gas Stove. This time I have my own Gas Stove and it is fine. So, I asked for connection on my connection letter sened by gas agency. Then they told me you need Gas stove verification and they chaged 150/- for that. In my absant some person from Indane Gas comes for verification and they told your Gas stove is old and i check only new stove. I talked with them on Phone, It is working fine and nothing problem in my stove. They don't hear my word. When i went to gas agency they replied vey badly to me. Not a single person saying about the condition of my own existing gas stove because they all know my stove is right.

                  What should i do in this case. I have no need of gas stove as i already have one. I have no connection, so i need a connection.

                  Please suggest what ever action i should take on this.

                  I've got the registered letter for availing the Gas Connection and then went to Ideal-RS Puram Coimbatore for remitting payment against it.but they told the payment can be accepted after receiving the acknowledgement card from post office.Then I went after 10 days on 21/10/09.They told that the new connections have been stopped and they will intimate later. I want to know the real status of distribution. When I will be able to pay?

                  Since then I am visiting the dealer at frequent interval. He is giving false information stating that the company has not released your connection. Sir, I have rendered national duty at Jammu and Kashmir during 1996 when the militancy at peak. Further, I was awarded gold medal by Government of Andhra Pradesh in an essay writing competition.                   The new connection applied vide reference has not yet been released even after 3 years. I have visited the office of the said dealer but in vain.                   dear sir the gas agency in agar malwa Dist. shajapur is charging rs 4400 for a new gas connection which include a pipe, regulator stove and cylinder.the marketprize of the stove is very low they are not providing bill for the given metirial.

                  Indane Gas dealers generally advise that the booking is closed or there is queue for another 3-4 monhts and hence they are not entertaining fresh bookings. This is just to trigger their black business. In Delhi I had an encounter with one such dealer, the dealer was alleged to issue new connection at a premium price (undertable premium). If one has urgency then they must have to adopt this mode else queue for another 3 months time.

                  For me it was not possible to wait for such a long time nor I was interested in taking the connection in black. I simply tookup the matter with the indane regional office in New Delhi quoting full details and to my surprise the dealer called me same day to issue a new connection. Similar incident I had faced in allahabad while requesting for transfer of connection to the nearest dealership. The old dealer was lingering on the process for over 20 days & was harrassing my parents. I simply me the regional manager in Indane office at Allahabad, and the connection was transferred immediately.

                  Ladies/gentlemen, we know that corruption is almost everywhere, but yes we can find a way to get our work done without shedding anything extra on these corrupts. "Stopping giving bribe to the corrupts will oneday put an end to the corruption".

                  I am sure Indane Gas authorities must be aware of all these practices in the market, but perhaps they just want to be spectators on such issues. I would just appreciate an idea on blog site, why the booking of new gas connection can't be done online. If there is actually a queue, let it be, one would stay assured that he/she is not being cheated atleast. I am sure this will certainly put an end to the black marketing of new gas connection .

Today morning when when to Sri rama Agencies to ask for the detail the front office staff says that your door has been locked thatwhy we are not able to supply but any time my door has not been locked, I told the same to her. then she told that with in 2 days your cylinder will be deliverd. I argued that cash memo has been genrated why this delay. today my supplier man has come & start shouting that how I can go to office & complaint abt him. I told that i will come to office & speak to you, when I enterd the office all the staff join together & say that they misplace the cash memo that why this delay. Morning they say one think & evening when we go with evidence they say something. THIS IS WORD THEY USED YOU COMPLAINT NO ONE CAN DO US ANYTHINK.                     I am consumer of INDANE from M/s Shuklaganj Gas Service, Agency code 155794, Shuklaganj 209861. Unnao. My consumer number is 15342.

                    Whenever a consumer goes to agency for refilling after 3-4 hours of standing in line the men of the agency call the consumer on a fixed date after 3 to 4 days. Then they put a stamp on the voucher and give another date to come. Again on said date consumer has to stand in line for 4-5 hours. Then they receive money and give one slip and ask to come after 6-7 days to get the cylinder. On that day again consumer has to stand 4-5 hours in line to get a cylinder. Many times after 4-5 hours they inform that cylinders have finished come on next day. That is the way this agency is working. Consumer is getting cylinder refilled after 60-75 days.

                    One old lady, who was 72, had a problem in walking. On 25th August 2008, she came to get the voucher stamped. From 7.00 am to 12.00 noon she kept standing in the line. At 12.00 noon agency owner informed the consumer that required number of vouchers have been stamped, now rest of people will go back and come again on next day. Crowed started arguing with agency owner. The man and his employees started pushing the crowed out from his shop. The old lady who was standing there felt down on the ground and got hurt on her head. I took her to nearby nursing home and back to her house after required treatment.
                    I had a talk with Mr.Sudhakar Giri, Area Sales Manager, Panki, Kanpur on this issue. I asked him to order the agency for home delivery. I was surprised, when he told me that he can not do any thing. HOME DILIVERY IS NOT POSSIBLE. Next day agency owner refused to give me any refilling, because I have persuaded the matter to the senior official. Now he is saying, “Go Bajpai, Do, what ever you feel like. Now You will never receive any refilling.

                    I am surprised to understand that Mr. Giri is backing the agency. How can he refuse home delivery? Why can not consumer get refilling after 30 days?

                    I humbly request you to look in to the matter and do the needful. I request you to punish the agency and such officer, So that in future no one is harassed.

                      Dear Sir
                      I am a consumer having single cylinder facility and want to have double cylinder as I am having big familiy. But since four month passed our local gas agency 'Mahanta Indane' is time and again repeating the same answer that 'until unless the company allows new gas connection we can't provide you the same and the company has stopped new connection for time being', though no such circular has been notified for consumer information. Very recently an enlarged paper cut of your circular (in oriya) has been sticked before the counter for consumer notice that 'Indian Oil has stopped new gas connection'.

                      Costumer harashment like 'irregularities in distribution' is a regular practice here. That may be due to poor communication facilities or else ; but as a consumer I would like to suggest you that to avoid the overload on 'Mahanta Indane' one more counter should be opened in this localities as the locality population is more than 2 lakhs (approx).

                      Kindly look into the matter and help me to run smooth family life.

                      I have face the same problem
                      I have The IOC Indane LPG Connection No. 40698 at LATA GAS AGENCY AT BAREILLY(UP)-243001. The agency is not bookin refill before 30 days after the delivary of cylender. Is it a rule under IOC? If so It should be displayed at all the agencies. Othewise a customer should not be denied of bookin the refill.
                      Not having a Second cylinder isn't as bad as having one & the Associted Traders(Indane distributor)unwilling to take it back when not needed but go on teasing the customer to Surrender the LPG connection.

                          I am consumer of Indane Gas. Our area service provider is “SUKH-DHAM GAS SERVICE”, C-8/4, Shopping Centre, Lawrence Road, Delhi-35. It is our long experience with them that they never respond on phone. For any problem, we have to go all the way to their door step, quite far from our residence. For instance, on 29.8.08, leakage was detected in cylinder. I tried to contact the Gas Agency on phone but I could not do so and Field Officer’s Mobile was also out of reach. Help Line Numbers 23411282, 23411654 & Emergency Nos. 23841235, 23846584 were also out of reach. I had to come back from my work place and lodge the complaint in person. Today again, I had to rush to their office for registering my complaint for leakage but that proved fruitless and complaint was not attended to. I requested them to give Complaint Book, I was told that Complaint Book cannot be given, as being the last day of the month, the same has been sent to IOCL.

                          Further more, their delivery personnel, while delivering gas cylinder, never carry weighing machine and are reluctant to weigh the cylinder.

                          It is requested that “SUKH-DHAM GAS SERVICE” may kindly be instructed to be customer friendly and caring.

                          Indane Gas — CASUAL ATTITUDE BY THE GAS AGENCY

                          Sir/Madam,

                          I am consumer of Indane Gas. Our area service provider is “SUKH-DHAM GAS SERVICE”, C-8/4, Shopping Centre, Lawrence Road, Delhi-35. It is our long experience with them that they never respond on phone. For any problem, we have to go all the way to their door step, quite far from our residence. For instance, on 29.8.08, leakage was detected in cylinder. I tried to contact the Gas Agency on phone but I could not do so and Field Officer’s Mobile was also out of reach. Help Line Numbers 23411282, 23411654 & Emergency Nos. 23841235, 23846584 were also out of reach. I had to come back from my work place and lodge the complaint in person. Today again, I had to rush to their office for registering my complaint for leakage but that proved fruitless and complaint was not attended to.

                          Further more, their delivery personnel, while delivering gas cylinder, never carry weighing machine and are reluctant to weigh the cylinder.

                          It is requested that “SUKH-DHAM GAS SERVICE” may kindly be instructed to be customer friendly and caring.

                          I am customer of Aaradhana indane gas service dist- Banda (U.P) .My customer no is BD 04576.
                          I booked my cylinder dated 19.07.2009 but in the agency they said ther is no home delivery the gas is distributed from the place near sankatmochan mandir.I went there and after an hour i got success to get a cylinder but the cylinder was liekege .I complaint to an employee who is present there, but he refused to change the cylinder .In tme same time Mr Sharma (husband of Mrs Aradhana Sharma ) came and abusingand shouting on me .When i requested to him to change my liekage cylinder he said I would not do anything .I still requested to him he pushed me and manhandling with me with some employies. I am verry much frustated .I am a Government servent and such an insult before a huge crowd .Icould not bear it .The Liekage cylinder is still kept in my house as such.Please take some disiplinery action against the agency and give me justice.

                          IT company — Gas Leakage problem - Vary Casual Attitude

                          Hi All,

                          Looks like the service of Yadu Gas service is getting poorer day by day. They donot have any delivery commitment. On top of it, i logged a complaint with them on friday about the Gas Leakage Issue. Looks like there is some problem either with the Cylinder or the Regulator. They didnot attend the problem yet. I told them that day that its very critical and Gas is leaking very fastly. Since then no updates. I tried calling them on saturday, sunday and Monday but unable to reach all their numbers. All busy all the time. We are not using our Gas for last 3 days. Wanted to escalate this to Indian Oil Corporation. Can anyone please tell me any email id or contact detail so that i could escalate it ? If they cannot understand the criticality of the leakage, they have no rights to continue their services.

                            i was working in Indian oiltanking limited.Last year i left the job with all formalities as per agreement. my pf no was during service to indian oil tanking limited is MH/43482/479.after leaving i submitted my pf withdrawel form duly filled. but stil i am not getting my pf amount though it has been already more than one year.Though i enquired about my pf over telephone, they are not able to give information about my pf when i would get it.The detail of the company is given below..

                              Dear sir, Consumer No.54290, Name: Lakshmi T. The Gas Cylinder was order before 3 weeks back and more over the present cylinder is also empty now. Past 10 days everyday calld the Indane office. They said morning or evening will send the cylinder like the (record player). But till now not receive. The service is totaly inefficient shown the consumer. Please take the necessary steps. Thanks.

                              Yes, even I am facing the same problem with south madras gas agency, r.a.puram Chennai. They said two days when we called after two days they said they have sent on the same day when I have booked, here was none at home and it has been returned back. Surprising.

                              After that I have been calling alomost daily for last 15 days but till it is not reached to me . My number is 62755. Is there anyone to solve this issues please. Thanks, Natarajan.

                              Note: In these days they should have a system like informing the customer through SMS saying they are dispatching the cylinder such and such time and date so that customer can make some arrangement to take the delivery.
                              I have actually booked my gas sometime middle of January 2011 and was informed that it will take 2 weeks. When i followed up in Feb I week i was told that they have booked on 31st Jan 2011 and will be delivered in a weeks time. From then i have been calling every day and like broken record they have been telling today tomorrow. Till now i have not received my gas cylinder supply. There is no system in place there and the attitude of the staff is very very bad. My number is 55247. I hope all concerned will take notice of all these complaints and take appropriate action and ensure that the customers do not suffer because of careless attitude of the staff.                                 We have several times over the last 3 years complained to the Kirti Gas Agency located in the address as stated above that

                                1. As of now, my complaint is that I have booked the Gas on the 8th of August 08. We were told that with 7-8 days delivery will be made.But now today is 29th, and no delivery has yet been made.
                                As I am trying to contact over phone, I tried fifty times over 2 hours, I find the phone no 26642003 was busy all the time. One time it was ringing but then no one picked up.This is nothing new. But an old trick of the Agency. So I am writing this complaint of harrassment and to reach appropriate authority who can direct the Agancey that it function heeding to consumer grievancer.( In support of that I am appending another consumer's complaint from the same area which was posted on the Internet Complaints Board


                                perform with for several years for not picking up phoner and giving delivery which becoemes as late as 25-30 days.

                                2.. For a refill process, each and every time we have to visit their place to book for refill.Then after 10-15 days when delivery does not come. we have to remind them again by visiting personally and then they deliver.This process is because the Gas Agency keep their one Land line No. in engaged mode most of the time. Or when it rings, hardly anyone pick up . All these are done purposefully to delay the process of delivery and the bottles are ofter delivered out of turn to others as has been pointed out a few times by me in front of office staff. But despite talking to Kirti Gas Official in the past several years, the system has not changed. So I would like the enforcement agencies to step0 in and take necessary measures to redress consumer grievance against the Gas Agnecy.

                                I am having gas connection with Kirti Gas Agency, Vejalpur, Ahmedabad, gujarat.

                                When ever we call number comes busy or if not bust they didnot pickup the phone.

                                We have to personally go and lodge the complaint.
                                Also they take 15-20 days to deliver the gas once call is lodged.

                                We cannot lodge new complaint before 10 days once new gas cylinder is received.

                                4.I am also drawing attention to the fact that toll free number 1260 conveyed by the Gas Agency does not function properly. Whenever the beep sound comes and the consumer need to record his complaint, the recording time has been set mischieviously to 1 second. So before you lodge a complaint, your complaint is blocked and you hear a Good Bye message. I tried for 3 times and every time the same way the automated sysem funtions.

                                5. Then I searched for Indian Oil site to find the details of Emergency Number and Helpline Number. But I was waiting for another shock to happen. As both the website links provided "Sorry" message


                                I am forwarding this mail to Ministry of Petroleum, Consumer Formum and other Enforecement Agency with a hope that the system of consumner support infrastructure professed, should actually function and the Agnecy should be brought to task for harrsaing the consumenr delibarely and planfully over the last several years.

                                Indane Gas — All phones are kept busy by Keerti Gas Service: Personal visit for refilling the cylinder

                                dear sir,
                                i am a senior citizen, my consumer no. KG: 4438. whenever i pick the phone for booking a refill. i found it busy. and every time i have to go to the office personally.
                                pls resolve the problem.

                                whenever i try to book refilling of my cylinder over M/s Sai Sewa agency's phone, everytime i find their phone engaged, even trying for 1-2 hours but not get the line cleared of the above agency. the reasons best known to the agency personnel.

                                This happens always. They don't pickup phones. I am trying to book my refill for last 7 days. but no answer. Officials of Indian Oil seems not taking any action. It is useless to complain.

                                i agree with above compliant as i am also harresed by this people, no one pick up phone even after several tries, and in case by chance they pick up phone, they always give us estimated time of delivery by 10-15 days, which is very long, as at first they book only after 21 days of first delivery than they says it will be delivered around 10-15 days, which means before 35 to 40 days days we will not able to get booked cylinder...!!!

                                This is really rediculous system, as i had complaint many times to IOCL officers but it seems all network are set...!!!
                                i'm also complaint about this delay service & not pickup the phone on inden website, i book the refffid on 26oct 2010 and delivery after personaly visit on 22nd nov 2010 it means nearby 1 month

                                we have a indiane gas service with kirti gas in vejalpur nd i give complain for phone engage continuesly. its realy too much engage. one time i given ring continues 5 days but all time its engaged. after 5 days 1time goes ring nd pick up the phone. please do something for this. customer has goes to too much problem with kirti gas's phone system.

                                  I introduce myself as a Customer to Indane Cooking Gas. I am residing at # 52, Kaikondarahalli, Near Bus stop, Carmelram post,
                                  Sarjapur Road, Bangalore 560035.

                                  My Gas connection is thro you dealer KK Indane Enterprises, near Iblur bus stop in Sarjapur road vide Consumer # D0064322.

                                  This time we have booked for cylinder on 11th August but regret to note that as on today (29th Aguust) we have not received the Cylinder supply from your dealer for reasons not known to us.

                                  We are not getting any clear status inspite of our repeated follow up calls / personal visit to the dealer's place.

                                  One one hand we are literally struggling with such hsort of short supplies and on the other hand we are really surprised as to how Indian oil / Indane is able to manage with such dealers in today's COMPETITIVE WORLD

                                  Kindly check with the dealer from your side and resolve the issues at once

                                  Only thing i want to know is the delivery charge. I was charged extra 15 Rs which was not included in the bill i received from the gas agency. If the company is charging it then why it is not included in the bill. And if the deivery boys are doing this then what is the company doing to stop it.
                                  Even for us he is charging 30rs per cylinder delivery. When i went and spoke to the shop person he acts as if i am asking for some bribe. He says if you want timely delivery you need to pay, Looks like they are all colluded for this amoutn which is tax free.

                                  I have raised this complaint with indane gas agency now we have to see how they address this issue.

                                    This is too bad... we are waiting for gas cylinder up to 40 to 50 days... Because dealers r sold in block market from four months... actual cost of cylinder is RS 315 but they are selling RS 500 to RS 600 in block market for DSC coaching institutions and messes... address

                                    I am residing in chennai, my connection number is 66993, my gas agency name is "Siva Shankar Gas Agency", Hmmm... in the name only god placed, but cheating cheating No 1 Fraud Agency, they are selling most of the gas in a block. they sold 600 to 800 Rs per cylinder to hotels tea shops, messes and more and more. corruption, corruption, corruption every side is corruption. and why this Website is started? Waste Waste Waste Waste, Every thing Waste. no one can stop this corruption. I pray god to send me honest office to control this kind of corruption.

                                      i have a applied for a spare cylinder on 12.7.2007 (SRAP No 590891 and WL No 619/27216) with Sharada Gas Agency, Moghalpura. Since iam having only 1 cylindeer and that to they are taking minimum 5 days to get refil cylinder iam facing severe problem (by skipping coocking food). Even after repeated enquiries/requests/follow ups i have not yet got my spare cylinder. Please help me sir.

                                      my wife went to the agency they are told i want come there. but still i can"t go till one year.but my home need one more gas. pleas can you help how can get.

                                        Delivery not in time
                                        Dear Sir,

                                        Myself Bijumohan, Customer No. 22457_ K. Balakrishna pillai has booked a refil cylinder on 10th July 2008, the booking number is 3139 with your POORNIMA GAS AGENCY, PARAKKODE, near ADOOR IN KERALA.

                                        I contacted to the gas agency on 11the July 2008 for the refill. They said that within two week the refiil willbe delivered. On 5th August 2008 the refill sylinder van came to our nearhouse Junction Thuvayoor, there are somany customers waited for hours.

                                        The van came, some refill delivered. But many house wives cannot get the sylinder. The authority persons said that the refill syliders were finished. The one or two hours waited customers desperated.

                                        Then, on August 18, 2008 the delivery van again came. But don't touch my near house junction.

                                        On 23rd August the delivery van again came to my near house jucntion. They delivered to some customers. They replied to our questions that the refill delivery will be the next day.

                                        But, at this day we are unable to get the refill.

                                        Sir, in daytime the oldage housewives were waited for the refill toomany hours.

                                        By phone the poornima gas agency authorities told the customers the refill will be delivered 10am, ... 5pm, ...tomorrow morning, ...no stock... and so and so...

                                        What a pathetic situation is this...
                                        In Kerala the Onam season coming soon. Your agencies customer treatment being very poor.



                                        from 18th Aug.08 as I was told that delivery will be after 8-10 days. SInce then I am being told in 2-3 days you will receive the delivery. But I am sorry to tell that till 21 days I have not received refill and after delivery for next 21 days there will be no booking. The second cylinder will also get empty. We have Ganpati Festival in the house during first week.

                                        It is suggested to allot third cylinder to me to meet such trend of supplies from this RADHIKA GAS agency.

                                        Similar situation was faced during the month of December 2007 wherein your intervention had given me delivery of cylinder
