I have given the complaint regarding non availability of sms alert to my mobile number. My sb account number is [protected]. My mobile number is getting wrong account number details of operation instead of my account. I suppose my operation is being diverted to another mobile number where in my privacy is at stake. I have already given a written complaint to my branch on 28.04.2016 regarding this. I am already getting anonymous calls for which i do not know how they got my number. You will be fully responsible for any untoward incidence happens to me due to your negligence in service.

    Complaint against Indian Overseas Bank

    Since last August 2015, Quality Of India cc limit account no 35077 was to be renewed, since then the client is running behind the branch but have not yet received the renewal letter from the branch .All of the sudden the branch had closed limit resulting in some of cheques issued to the clients were dishonored and account holders reputation was spoiled. The load dept Mr nishant do not have manners to talk how to talk the customer and say that all the officers from the Top of Bank are in their pocket go and complaint to anybody. On the request of Mr Krishnan Branch managers he advised to withdraw the complaint he will give sanction letter within 2 day, suddenly he was being transferred. Please state the reason for non renewing of the CC limit of Quality of India .

    During last renewal also my account was expired in the month of march but the branch gave the letter in the month of august after 100 times visit of the clients. This is their habits of your loan department one who pay the bribe their work is completed within time and the customer s are being harrassed when clients do not pay the bribe. This means your branch forces to pay the bribe otherwise work will be not done which is the example of quality of India account.
    For opening a HUF account I had to visit 8-10 times, sometimes there is no form sometime there is no officer, i went to Oriental Bank, the account was opened within 10 minutes time and well attended the client/customer properly.
    What is this
    If IOB Daryaganj Branch have more business kindly shut down the shutter, why the customers is being harrassed.
    Hope you will look in the matter and enquire the facts of the complaint for delaying of 10 months for renewal of the account..

        I got a refund of rs.651 for a failed order and i transferred that amount rs.651on january 17, 2016. From my paytm wallet to iob ac from which that amount was paid. Bank txn id-[protected], paytm txn id-[protected], but the amount was not credited in my bank ac. I contacted paytm officials, they said that it was a successful transaction and gave the prn no.74332746018601707701287. I complained about this with iob customer help line. Complaint no is ad140302 dated 14.03.2016. There is no response till now. I called more than 5 times. Whenever i am calling, they will give a no.[protected]. No body is attending this phone. Very very worst customer care service. I never expected from this a leading nationalized bank.

          Respected sir Wat is d procedure of closeing the account as I am not satisfied with ur bank. I have given a complaint in ur sullurpet branch nellore dist ap as I've been given complaints somany times ur not replying. So I would like to close my account.i had paid my postpaid bill on freecharge on[protected] for Rs 1266 but the amount is debited in my account I have mailed my complaint to freecharge they checked it thoroughly and they told me that there's nothing in our side please contact the bank I have given complaints somany times in ur sullurpet branch so please rectify my problems

            Hi sir,

            (Sunday 05 2016)Yesterday my mother got unknown call and they told your iob debit card going to expired so we are going to provide new card we need some details for giving new card the asked cardnumber, expire date, cvv and atm Password. They used some where around 6500 rupees. So I called customer care and asked about where they used the card they are saying we dont have any access to see your details only we are working for blocking the debit card.

            We have blocked our debit card.

            Note: That mobile always active and he saying you cant do anything with me

            Already we raised police compliant as well.

            This is second time happening with in my family. Already i raised one more complaint in ICICI Bank.

                Ours is a fcra account. We have been depositing us checks since 1996.

                We have submitted fcra recognition also.

                Now they are refusing to accept us checks.

                Also they are telling their nostro account is blocked and they have to unblock it through some other way. It takes 25$ per instrument and courier charges 1000 rs etc., etc. We have give an undertaking for each instument also.

                Checks are returned after two months. It was kept idle at the bank and returned without assuming any reason in writing.


                What is happening in iob? Or is it a hidden attack against the us remittance.

                Please clarify.

                  I am psomakumar residing at site no.36, thasami park residency, singanallur coimbatore 641005. I am a customer of iob, nanjundapuram branch for the past 15 years. My acct no. Being [protected] (Sb a/c). Before that my wife had an acct in iob ramalinganagar branch. This acct was transferred and merged with my acct and the acct was made joint account.
                  For my son's education in vit (Mba), i was in need of money and i pledged some jewels in iob, race course branch in 2014 may. Since, at that time services of an appraiser was not available in iob nanjundapuram.
                  This jewel loan was renewed in 2015, by paying the interest which was due.
                  This year i went to iob race course branch and i was denied permission to repledge the same at the first instance by the officers in charge their stating that i did not have a s/b acct.In their branch, thuis causing great embarassment and shock to me. Hence i approached my regiular iob branch at nanjundapuram and after they spoke to the manager concerned at race course branch i was allowed to repledge the jewels. The jewel loan acct. No. Being[protected] dt.[protected].
                  To my shock today when i went to iob nanjundapuram branch, the acct balance was "0". An amount of rs.1476-45ps has been withdrawn from my sb account by race corse branch on[protected] and an amount of rs.334/- (Which amount was just credited into my acct then) withdrawn on[protected], by them.

                  The interest amount does not amount to rs.1170/- for one month and a total amount of rs.1820.45ps has been withdrawn from my account making the balance "0'. This is quite disgusting. With my knowledge such things are done, how can i keep track of the transactions?. Had i issued a cheque to some body, who will answer for its bouncing? Who will pay the penalty for not maintaining the minimum balance in s/b acct. I have already paid a sum of rs.300/-to the appraiser, without any voucher, since he told that he is not in the bank's payroll.

                  I suspect some foul play in all these happenings. Since they have been coerced into permitting me to repledge the jewels, the staff want to take revenge?

                  I asked the asst. Manager concerned for a copy of the acct, statement, which he refused to give.
                  I await a look into these matters and a prompt response to my queries.
                  I look forward to proper redressal in this matter.

                    This has reference to to subject matter.In this regard, i have tried booking from jammu to srinagar on dated 14/05/2016 two times through my mobile from make my trip app but i could not succeeded. Message came to my mobile saying that we are awaiting payment of rs. 4906/- two times (Ref no. Nf[protected]p2 &nf[protected]p01). However, amounting to rs. 4906/- was deducted two times from my indian overseas bank bank (Ref.[protected]@912301 & [protected]@912289). Amount was not reverted to my account till date. It is also pertinent to mention that deducted amount is showing on dated 16.05.2016 whereas actual amount was dedusted on 14.05.2016. Therefore, you are requested to look in to the matter for reversal of amount deducted from my bank for early action please.

                      My account in iob / chintadripet, chennai on 02.06.2015 without my knowleadge they are deducting rs.12.00 against pmsby. Am also holding an another pension account in sbi, even the 12.00 rs getting deducted in this account as well. I had discussed about this with iob manager - chintadripet to stop the deduction, but unfournately they are not in a position to resolve this.
                      Am helpless now, please provide me the path to resolve the issue.

                        I am a regular online transactor for recharges or online purchases, but now i have a problem with IOB Bank, That is my failed transaction refunds are not credited in my account, First of all I think it is a seller problem but after three consecutive refund via paytm, freecharge and amazon is not credited in my account, All of them given a ARN no for the initiated refund I found it is a Bank’s fault, I have made complaint through mobile customercare number, there is no use for my first complaint of refund via paytm Rs - 400.00 they given reply check your wallet amount has been refunded but no amount added in my wallet so i raised compliant in paytm they given there is no refund we got check again your bank but bank customer care refused take complaint again refund initiated on 15th JAN 2016 after four months my money not returned, second refund from Freecharge amount is Rs.100 initiated on 29th Mar this is also not credited in my account they also sent me a ARN no for the refund, this time i have sent mails to [protected]@iobnet.co.in but no use not get a single reply, last and final refund is Rs 6999 for my returned mobile amazon as initiated this refund on 17th APR 2016 this amount also not credited in my account they also given a same ARN No and said file charge dispute in my bank i have made complaint on 3rd May 2016 via Phone again after ten days still any amount is not returned to my account totally 7499 is cheated from my bank i will confirmly says this is a bank's problem because the same time my refunds from freecharge is reached my account on my IDBI bank account and the same problem is happens on three different sellers so this is bank fault. i want to know how to file complaint against bank please help if it is stopped on Rs. 500 i will leave it but now i lost my 7499.00 in five months this is not a good service and pathetic customer service from IOB Customer care. I want to file complaint against the bank for the unresponsive customer service. The transaction ARN No are below with respective seller amount and date

                          Iob Bank — Charging extra money

                          IOB is charging INR 3 for Internet banking money transfer and charge INR 22.80 if we withdraw the amount in other ATM. Regardlesss of amount withdrawn, I was charged like this. Thinking of closing the account in IOB and go for good bank.

                          I have used my debit card in merchant's place. after swiping the card they showed me declined message but the amount 3940 debited from account. I gave written complaint in vandalur branch within a week.After one month also not returned.

                            i have taken educational loan from IOB seerapalayam branch. i have been paying the loan for the past 2 years. From December 2015 i was unable to view the loan account from my Internet banking.

                            i called the coimbatore head office to complain the same. i was redirected to seerapalayam branch . i was told that IOB systems are being upgraded so my issue will get resolved automatically . Even after 15 days the issue was not resolved and so i called the head office and this time i was given a mobile number of a person from seerapalayam branch. i called the person to en quire about my grievance . And this time this person told me that he cannot help me as its a system issue and it has to get resolved automatically.

                            its been 5 months now my issue is still not resolved. i have stopped paying my monthly EMI since i am unable to verify whether the payment is reaching my account. also i will be incurring interest for the 5 months. i am working in pune so i am unable to visit the branch to ask for a solution.

                            I have written to internet banking admin, regional manager but i neither got any reply nor my issue was addressed.I am totally frustrated with this bank and its services.

                                It is unfortunate to say that your net banking service is totally dissatisfied. I had tried to pay mts data card postpaid bill of rs.1144/- through pamtm on 30.04.2016. Through iob internet banking i have tried to pay the amount. After getting and giving the otp on my mobile no.[protected], there was no transaction and paytm informed that "transaction failed". The amount neither paid nor credited back to my sb a/c no.[protected]. My money gone. Worst service.In the year 2013, rs.999/- deducted from my above sb a/c and not at all credited back after the transaction failed. Rs.48/- was tried to pay through "freecharge". Transaction failed and not credited back.
                                Now finally on 30.04.2016 the amount rs.1144/- deducted - transaction failed - not credited back.

                                I have tried to pay rs.1144/- to mts datacard which is due date by 03.05.2016. But the amount is deducted from my sb a/c no.[protected], rajaji bhavan branch, besant nagar, chennai - 90. But the same was failured in paytm . I want to know where the payment gone ? I hereby request to get refunded and recredited to my above sb a/c above.

                                Rs.1144/- deducted from my SB A/c no.[protected] of IOB Rajaji Bhavan br. Besant NAGAR, Chennai - 90 on Internet banking to PAYTM. The transaction failed, but amount deducted. Please recredit the amount to my above SBA/c.

                                I'm getting OTP very late .
                                The performance of Internet Banking very very very poor. I have made complaint for refund of Rs.1144/- deducted on 30.04.2016 from my SB A/c No.[protected]. Till date no action. Even on transaction failure, the amount was deducted. No action. No response. None of them taken responsibility.
                                Better to avoid Internet Transaction on IOB.

                                I am not satisfied with your services. On 6th may 2016, I transfer the funds to another account and also recharge the online recharge. But, it is failed on the operators end. It could create the bad impression to me. Please check this technical problem immediately. I am very urgent of fund transfer.

                                  then i cancelled the tickets

                                  the amount was not refunded

                                  i booked two complaints

                                  ML170303 and JB070405

                                  still now my complaints are not resolved

                                  i made a query using toll free number

                                  they asked me to call these two numbers 28519464 and [protected]

                                  but it is a punishment daily i am calling these numbers no body is picking the call

                                    Ifs code :- ioba0001466) of my firm "kansal blowers & fabricators" from last 15 years.
                                    I want to complaint you about atm machine of this branch, which is mostly out of order, even there is no door, ac & light in atm room inspite of my repeated complaint to branch manager.
                                    It seems to me that the agency to which your bank has given the responsibility to maintain this atm machine is not taking it seriously.

                                    So, now i request you to please take some serious action about this or close this atm machine permanently, so even for small transactions we stop thinking about atm & start harassing our self in long ques of bank.
                                    Or shift our account to some other better bank.
