      Hi, Am Sunitha Rao V, holding account in CITI bank and I have done IMPS transfer to Indian Overseas Bank account which belong to Mr J.P SRINIVASAN a/c 330903 branch Triplicane, on April 02 2015 for the amount of 13800.00. The amount has not been credited in IOB account holder's account. It got noticed on April 10 2015 and since then we have been trying methods as described in Indian Overseas Bank website and followed the protocols in order, to our dismay we have not been successful in tracing the noncredit amount as on today. We met the Branch Manager Mr Sridhar and gave a written complaint along with a proof from Citibank proof of transfer. It's been more than 2 weeks since we got no reply. They are only trying as of now. Hence am writing this mail to you, as per the grievance norms followed in IOB bank website. I sincerely request you to take action and do the needful.       I am also facing the same issue.
      I transferred 49500 to IOB account from CITI account but still the amount is not credited to IOB account.
      It is already 8 days over but there is no response from IOB bank till now.

      I transferred 10, 000 to IOB account from CITI account on 07/05/2016 but still the amount is not credited to IOB account.
      It is 75 days over but there is no response from IOB bank till now.

        Additional Charges for Locker

        SIR, I HAVE LOCKER AT IOB AND I PAY RS.1550 AS ANNUAL RENT WHICH IS A HUGE AMOUNT FOR MIDDLE INCOME GROUP AND WE BEAR IT FOR SAFETY REASON. NOW IT WAS INFORMED THAT ONLY 12 OPERATIONS WILL BE ALLOWED FOR A YEAR ADDITIONAL OPERATION WILL BE CHARGED RS.50. WE KEEP OUR JEWELS IN LOCKER, FOR FAMILY FUNCTION WE HAVE TO TAKE AND REDEPOSIT NEXT DAY WHICH REQUIRE 2 OPERATION. MONTHLY TWICE MEANS ATLEAST WE NEED 24 OPERATIONS MINIMUM. HENCE I REQUEST...

          Dear Sir, Please note that, My Name is P. Manoj (Son of Account Holder) on behalf off account holder Mr. N.Padmanabhan (Account Holder) of the above said SB Account which is at IOB, Karumandichellipalayam Branch, Perundurai, Erode. We have tried to take Rs.10000/- from City Union Bank ATM, Tirupur Main branch on 09th Apr 2015 and the same has been debited in the account, the cash and the transaction slip not received from the ATM. We have immediately intimated to CUB and IOB on the very next day. IOB staff asked us to wait for one week, the said amount will credited automatically. But we have not received within the specific time. So, we again contacted the IOB branch and they asked us to fill the form and we have done. Now it is almost 22 days, the said amount not yet credited in the account. Please advice. Regards Manoj.P [protected]

            To RBI, Respected Sir, I’m (Deepak Kumar) writing this mail on behalf of my parents. We have taken a home loan for from Indian Overseas bank in 2004 for 10 years tenure. Our Emi was going smoothly. But after some we couldn’t pay for a long time ( 2 yrs.) again we start pay. Disturbance comes many time to pay on time but if we paid bulk amount 2 times (70, 000). Our EMI was 2000 but we paid 5000, 10000 as per my comfort zone. Now we received a notice from the bank to clear the outstanding regarding the same. The amount was (90000). However I paid maximum amount to the bank. There was no computer recording system in 2004 to 2007 so my some payment was not reflecting in my loan account. I believe I have to pay minimum principal amount. Meanwhile the manager visit to our home and gave assurance that he will wave off my unnecessary interest, as we are unable to pay. My father is not working since 2007. I’m the only who take care of all my family member. I understand that I’ve to clear my amount to bank as soon as possible. So, I planned to borrow some money from our relatives and clear the bank loan. So, Sir it’s my humble request to you, please look in to this matter and support us to clear this. I won’t be able to pay that much amount including interest. Kindly resolve, I want to clear it as soon as possible with your help. Waiting for your positive reply.               Resp sir, I have visited your nangloi branch 3-4 times.last year October enter the complaint my debit card is missing and already diduct the 125/- rupees in my account but no one provide the credit card. Yesterday again I have visited your branch and again submit the 125/- rupees but no one given the proper feed back. Every person approach is very casual. some one is available he said waiting for 1 month and again visit after one month. pls.                 HI, I made compliant several time to IOB bank but it is not get solved. And same regretted by SBI and HDFC banks. Please see this problem this happen with me twice in year. So I made this compliant of total loss of RS 27000 which wrong debits from My A/c. Details of 2 wrong transaction 1) Wrong debits RS 20, 000 As on[protected], I withdraw Rs 10, 000 twice from SBI ATM no. - sb-632[10331004KOPARKHA-NFS] by using my IOB debit card. But it is showing four time debit transactions of Rs 10, 000 from my account out of which two transactions is right and two transaction is wrong for this I made compliant in IOB but I am not get refund RS 20, 000 which is wrongly debits from account. 2) Wrong debits RS 7, 000 As on[protected], I withdraw Rs 7, 000 from HDFC ATM no. S1ANMM87 by using my IOB debit card. after withdrawing I got message of twice debited Rs 7, 000 from my account in my registered Mobil no [protected] and same I cheek in my pass book it is showing two debit transaction of Rs 7, 000 out of which one is as on 2-1-2015 and another is as on[protected]. Out of which[protected] I am not withdrawing any money from my account. Below I have attached photo copy of all compliant receipts and photo copy of sms i got after withdrawing money from ATM.

                  As per the bank norms, IOB had stated that an amount of Rs.20 will be deducted for not maintaining the minimum balance in the account. But an amount of Rs.100 is deducted from my account and also from my mother's account. we are propely using the account by using internet banking / by atm transactions. Kindly provide solution for this..

                    sir, i deposit the 95, 000 but my mistake its filled the chellan in amount 85, 000 .on that evening the bank cashier called my moblie and ask what amount you are given i forget i said is 85, 000. but the next day i realized is this 95, 000. then i ask the bank members and cashier they told "come next day" its moved twenty days then they are saying in that no excess money in bank . so i loss my 10, 000 in indian overseas bank . in this case how do i get my money in bank. sir truly its my money

                        I have availed an educational loan with IOB pollachi branch - VJEL No :[protected] on[protected]. The interest rate was 12% P.A. the repayment of the loan to start from Aug 2011, the installment being Rs. 3850/- Per Month. On completion of the course, I have been repaying the installment regularly every month. But to my surprise, I noticed a debit of Rs. 22609/- during March 2014 being short interest debited. From that date, the loan becomes overdue and overdue interest being charged every month. As per the contract, the interest applicable is only 12% P.A. but the statement received from the branch shows a rate of 15.5% which seems to be abnormal. I request you to please reverse the interest rate and re credit the excess of Rs.22609/- As per the directive from the Government of India, the repayment of all the educational loans has been rephrased and is to be repaid in 120 months. I once again request you to rephrase my loan installments to 120 months instead of present 60 months. I came to know from the banking circles and from the government of India notifications that all the educational loans are eligible for “NEW CSIS SUBSIDY” the interest rate debited during study period of 48 months is to be waived or written off. I think I am very much eligible for the same. Even in your pollachi branch almost all my friends who availed educational loans have been given the NEW CSIS subsidy. I don’t know the reason why I have been singled out and deprived off the benefits eligible for a borrower who is promptly repaying the loan. I have made several requests to the branch authorities to make me eligible for the CSIS Subsidy claim, but till date nothing has been materialized. Under the above circumstances, I request your good selves to grant me the three eligible considerations which will be very helpful for an eligible and promptly repaying borrower like me. 1. Re credit the excess charged to my account on 31.03.2014 of Rs.22609/- 2. Re phase the loan installments and re fix the same to 120 months. 3. Credit the New CSIS Subsidy to my account for which I am eligible. In this regard, I have already written two complaint letters to the following addresses, 1. The Chief manager, Indian Overseas Bank, Pollachi. - Complaint sent on[protected] 2. Retail Banking Department, Head office, Chennai. - Complaint sent on[protected] 3. Customer Service Cell, Head office, Chennai.1 - Complaint sent on[protected] 4. M/S Office of the Banking Ombudsman, C/O Reserve Bank Of India, Fort Glacis, Chennai - Complaint sent on[protected] Please be informed no action on my complaint have been taken yet. This creates much stress on a prompt payer like me for whom the bank gives no leverage on available benefits whereas others who don't repay has got these benefits. I would request you again to please take quick action on my complaint herewith and make my experience with IOB bank as a pleasure one.                           1) There is NO Power Light inside the ATM machine Room, we are facing Problem in Entering PIN pwd, at Night, 2)There is No Watchman, I have never seen him any time since 5 to 6 month, till Now, , 3) A/c air-condition will be allway in OFF only, and facing more Heating sensational, 4) When i want to draw Rs 100 s, But not able to Draw, no 100(only Rs.500) it makes only on some Time, 5) Last month we faced a Problem while drawing amount, after entered the Pin and amount, The power was Off for few seconds, the machine has no display and My money got Debit, from balance, But after we call to CC care, after 2 hours we got the money back, , But ok, we got more Tensed, replay

                            I Sheema Sakthivel had gone to the ashok nagar branch holding account with Spencer branch. The branch closes at 3 pm.Reached the branch at 2.50pm. Many people waiting for their turn. The cashier the moment it ticked 3 pm closed the counter without addressing to the people who were waiting at his counter. Irony is a couple of them had tokens which had to be encashed. The cashier was very unruly and was talking to those people as if he is the boss and others need to obey him. Just because he is in that cashier seat does not mean he can behave however he wants. When my turn came he refused to take cash. Asked if it was outstation or local. Then rudely said cannot rake the cash inspire of humble request made as an exceptional case though in the line before the closing time. Took a request from the bank manager, inspire his approval he refused and sorry to say started barking like a dog. So joined his colleagues and the bank manager. They treated me like a piece of . When asked for the cashiers name, said you can do whatever you want, get lost. I'm hurt and I'm going to bring this to the notice of many more account holders with iob. I do not know whether you would take action or just ignore this complaint. But I was treated very badly today by that branch staff. Could not believe my eyes that such senior people could get down a low level behavior.when people like us who are educated are treated so badly, I can imagine the plight of people who are illiterate. With such kind of people don't know where are country is going to head.

                              Dear Sir, I have an account in your esteemed bank, Branch : SIVAN CHETTY GARDEN in Bangalore. I have very recently completed 25years of happy banking with your esteemed bank. Last month i had pre-closed a RD (10 days before the maturity date) and as per the banking rules, the original interest rate would reduce 0.5% from the original rate of that was booked. I agree with this, The accrued interest was Rs. 11, 000 for one year, but the branch has deducted 2500 rupees. Just because i pre-closed it by 10days before the maturity date, This sounds RIDICULOUS.. and purely unfriendly gesture. Kindly look into this matter and do the needful please.                                 Dear Sir, In my account i was maintaining the proper balance in our bank(indian overseas bank- kumudepally branch, hosur), Then also deduct Rs:100/- for not maintenance purpose. if not maintains means it was acceptable. Really i felt bad experience about this, bcoz i called before helpdesk, they tell simply contact your branch.                                   I think this is the wort ever bank i have seen.They deduct 100 rs for not maintaining minimum balance.There atm's wont work peoperly.The only reason we do banking with them is because we have opened it with college.So for paying fee etc.. we need to use this account and they are taking advantage o[censored]s.

                                    I have opened my account with IOB bank sastra branch, as sson as i have joined the college.They say that it is a student account, but they will deduct balance for not maintaining minimu balance.When i ask for cheque book for something they say that it is a student account.They deducted my account by 100 rs just for not maintaining minimum balance for 10 days.Their ATM's are not even working properly.PLEASE TAKE PROPER ACTION AGAINST THEM

                                      Dear Sir, I have using for saving bank account in IOB, I had already applied in Internet banking services, I did already gave the all information but till now in our branch ( CODE 0591 ) they didn't take care about for my complaints, so i Need must should be in Internet banking services, so kindly follow on my complaints and shortly provided with me. Thank you.
