I have booked a ticket on the irctc portal on 13/08/2017 from vadodara to kottayam in sleeper class for my journey on 20/08/2017. I got a waitlisted ticket for that.
On 20/08/2017, when the chart was prepared my waiting list was not cleared and i was unable to travel with that ticket as it got automatically cancelled by irctc, on account of their waitlist policy.

My complaint is that i am not wilfully cancelling my travel, and irctc according to their policy has automatically cancelled the ticket, that cancellation action done is totally not with my concern. And also the irctc site did not provide me any vikalp option for my ticket booked. Now they have deducted 60rs from me as cancellation charge for untraveled and unwillfully cancelled ticket, which i believe should not be charged from the customer for what is my fault if railway as no ability to provide enough seating to all its passenger. If so they should remove the wait list option. Otherwise accommodate every passenger who is willing to travel but has a waitlist/rac ticket with him, by adding 1 or 2 extra coaches.

    I have book ticket from ubl to agc of journey date 28 august 2017 in third ac of fare 1966 rupees via paytm wallet by irctc eticketing order [protected] and wallet transection id [protected] but payment failed by irctc.
    And no any refund in my wallet.

      Hello,
      I am in receipt of an e-mail dated[protected] mentioning that they have refunded the full amount on account of a failed transaction to my bank on 15/08/2017 with mention of a settlement id as [protected]. The details being recorded from my side being:
      [1] transaction id: [protected] (Pnr no. 0)
      [2] your e-mail dated[protected]
      [3] complaint docket #6499218
      [4] full refund amount: rs.4991.80
      I would like to say that i have not received any refund amount from irctc till now. I had attached a pdf statement as generated just which clearly says no such credit amount from irctc. I am really worried about the way the matter is being handled. A failed transaction made on[protected] is still to be settled. Today is the 9th day!!
      Will you please resolve the issue forthwith? The matter may be immediately investigated and i may be informed of the status over my registered mobile.
      I am awaiting their immediate action.

      I read on official website that IRCTC service charge had been waived to only 30 sept 2017. I'm requesting you to waive it permanently. I book tickets via IRCTC upto 6 times per month, and that's a limit. And I'm a student. So all time service charge I can't afford. Hope for your convenience reply. Thanks

      Me & my brother was traveling in urgency from putlur to tirivallur since the train was at 12:46 only but the ticket issuing counter person was not issuing ticket bcoz of his sleepeness we felt really uncomfortable towards our journey

        I have booked the train for my exam which was going to be held after three hours of reaching of the train at its destination. But the railways are so dumb or irresponsible the train has reached at its destination before half an hour of my exam time which makes me impossible to reach to my exam place on time. Due to which i did n't attempt my exam which was crucial for me. I suggest all my freinds not to book any of the trains on their exam dates rather do take other modes of transportation. Railways are just wastage of time.

            I had booked kolkata rajdhani ticket from new delhi to howrah on 19th, august. The booking was made on 17th august, my money for the ticket got deducted but my ticket did not get booked. Please look into the matter and refund my money back. The amount is rs 1623.77.

                  I have booked a ticket and paid using my debit card, the payment gateway was paytmag. Then i cancelled the ticket and its showing refunded but i have not got the money till now. Please have a look below for further info.

                    (An amount of rs 980.0 deducted against irctc txn id [protected] on 12-aug-2017 will be refunded as your ticket could not be booked / service not rendered.)

                    As on date no update on the refund, please guide next course of action

                        My self booked ticked from ghaziabad to bareilly on 19th aug 2017.But at ghaziabad station this train not show the train no .one train is come whose no is 54076 and my booked ticket in 54078 with pnr no [protected] and i have waited there 1 hour but there is no announcement regarding about the train .
                        I have present there before 30 min to the train arrival but no train is arrive for that train no.and there is no any announcement regarding the that train no.
                        One train had come which no. is 54076 and i talked to that TT he said that this is not that train and there is no coach for 2nd sleeper but i have ticked for S2 19 confrm.Than i talked enquiry centre they said that that is only tarin which goes to bareilly.after that there is no train and in that train there is no difference between sleeper and general coach. than how i travelled to that train.

                        Sir please do somthing regarding this.

                              I tried to book 2 tatkal tickets date on[protected] though online irctc site. The tickets is form chennai central to coimbatore jn n8 10.10 clock time cheran express. After complete the payment thru my indian bank debid card no[protected], i got the otp my mobile and the payment of 830.00 was debited from in my indian debid card account and 1msg received 830 debited in my accounts. Due to error seats not available. Plz refund my money as early as possible in my debid card.

                                I Rajesh Durge, on 24th July 2017, i booked ticket of Nandigram Exp. With PNR number[protected], With my debit card at Virar railway reservation counter. Due to network problem counter person swiped twice. Rupees 435 /- debited twice... Till today 18th August, it was not refunded or credited to my account. Pls do the needful. Here with I am enclosing screenshot of massage of deduction.

                                  I have booked train tickets for my parents (Senior sitizens) in tata - yeswantpur (18111) train from visakhapatnam (Vskp) to chitradurga (Cta) journey dated 11.08.17. Train was diverted from vijayawada (Bza) and we didn't get any information on this. Again i have booked from vskp to bza to catch the 18111 train at bza on 18.08.17. For this i have done reservation from vskp to bza and bza to cta. They reached to day at bza and come to know it was diverted. My parents would have to reach last week to attend my daughter birthday. Due to inconvenience caused by irctc they faced lot of problems and mentally disturbed. Irctc con't repay their truble. Even though irctc is responsible for this and give the answer to me and has to pay rs 500000 for their irresponsibility.

                                    I had booked tatkal tikets from palghat to bangalore on 17/08/2017. During the first trial i received otp but post that there was some error and the ticket was not booked, however the amount of rs.541 was debitted from the account, which has not yet been refunded. I request you to do the needful immediately.
