Hi Team,

I have booked a ticket for my parents, while selecting the berth preference I have chosen Side Upper and Side Lower. But after the booking I got one upper berth and one side upper.
PNR No. : [protected]

There are options/radio buttons to select either lower berths or seats in same coach option. So only one option can be selected.

So do you think it is a good option to provide upper berths to senior citizens? Better to remove the selection option as I can see it is of no use.

My parents are travelling now from Chennai to Changanassery in train no. 12695. My mother is having fever also. The co passengers are so irritating and shouting very loudly in the cabin. The seats are S4-17 & 20. So many people are coming and sitting in the 3 seater. So my parents cant sit comfortably. Pleaae do some urgent action for this.

    This complaint is regarding the TDR filed in irctc website on 12 December 2016. The reason for filing TDR is the diversion of train number 12687 (Dehradun Express) from Chennai central station due to cyclone Vardah on 12 December 2016. Since the train was diverted from the station, i was unable to travel. Accordingly i had immediately filed a TDR on irctc website claiming a refund of the ticket amount (Rs 2365 /-). The details of the TDR are mentioned at the bottom.

    The status of TDR on the website is 'CR Registered' since the past four months.The refund amount (Rs 2365 /-) has not been credited so far. The ticket and TDR details are mentioned below.

    I request you to take swift action in this matter.

        Dear Sir / Madam,

        This is to inform you that I, Shrabasti Ghosh of IRCTC user ID - Shrabasti9 had booked a train ticket (Train Number 12314) from NDLS to SDAH date of booking 03-Apr-2017 (21.35 hrs) for journey date 13-May-2017. However, while doing the transaction there was an error showing booking error from the IRCTC website portal. I again did the booking for the same train and finally got it booked, however I had already started receiving two different transaction information messages from my bank saying that the money has been deducted twice (see messages attached for your reference). Although I had only a single transaction ID provided by IRCTC, but still money from bank got deducted twice which is poor on the part of the IRCTC portal. Request IRCTC to give me refund for the first error booking as soon as possible.

          Hi,

          I have booked below tickets in train no: 52587 (toy train), and on the date of journey 16th Mar, when i reached at GHUM railway station, where i needed to board the train, then there it was mentioned that train is cancelled due to some techical fault.
          I contacted station Master like why it is not being updated on internet.
          (generally, status of toy train 52587 is not being updated on internet)
          he told me it takes time to update.

          So at the same time, i tried to file TDR, but there is no option of train cancelled in reason of TDR filing, thus i didn't file the TDR.

          But later what i check on my ticket in my irctc account, it is still not marked as train cancelled.

          Thus I emailed to [protected]@irctc.co.in; [protected]@irctc.co.in for the same, told the same like it is still not marked as train cancelled and requested them to check with concerned railway zone and process for refund.
          But everytime what they say that you've not filed TDR in prescribed time limit. And, everytime I told them like why I need to file TDR when train is cancelled. it might be that have not marked the PRS as train cancelled, thus please check with concerned railway zone.

          There were 3 PNRs as below for (6+6+5) people.

            Sir I have booked my tickets through irctc and payment made through icici bank gateways to irctc. On 24 March. Later on i have cancelled my ticket but the refund of Rs.6480 was not credited to my sbi account.As per refund status the said amount was refunded to icici bank on 27 march 17 vide transaction no [protected] and bank refund no [protected].sir as on 3 Apr 17 the said amount was not refunded by nither irctc nor icici bank.I am really depressed about this digital payment where to get refund is very difficult task.pls do justice with me. I have emaied to both company but n o suitable reply came.last hope from you.

              Hello Sir,
              Regarding refund amount after cancellation of E-ticket.
              Refer to our E-tickets cancelled vide above PNR No details on 11/03/2017 to 23/03/2017. kindly advise the status of Refund of above said cancellation E-ticket.
              I have already two time send the mail regarding refund amount but your department is not responsible no reply. And your irctc login show me refund date but i will check here is not received any amount. Please treat it most urgent.
              I don’t have received any amount. Attached the statement from the deduct amount this account.

                Hi,
                I have travelled from Partur to Manmad by Tapovan Express on 2nd April 2017 my PNR no. [protected]. I have taken veg biryani then ask me Rs 70/- . I think which is much higher than the rates disclosed by IRCTC and even not provide bill when I ask him to please give the bill. They also served water bottle on Rs 20/- even MRP printed on bottle is Rs 15/-.
                Please take strong action against them.

                    I have loaded 2000 rs in my IRCTC account. After somedays my account got suspended and manytimes I tried to reach the customer care through mail and phone calls but I did not get any response from them also not getting proper reason for my account suspended. It was suspended before a month back till now I did not receive any notification or response for the reason. Totally cheating network IRCTC E-Wallet. Government itself cheating like this. I am not expecting this kind of irresponsible things from IRCTC.

                          Theyare giving the food items at a higher prices then the decided rates.
                          Tea is decided at at 7/- by irctc but they are giving it at 10/-.
                          Why this happening and even the quality is too bad as compared.

                          They are from some local vendors.

                          First Day : In launch veg meal they provided only two roties instead of four. There wa no curd. Quantity of curry is very less.

                          Second Day : There was no curd and no water as well.

                          Quality of food is very poor. No value for money.
                          One star for doon's catering is also waste...we want atleast a cup of quality tea...please restrict the high prizes

                              Hi,

                              My father and mother were traveling from chittaurgarh (Cor) to ghaziabad (Gzb) by train link express - mansoor to meerut (Link dehradun express), train number 29019 on 29th march 2017. Coach number ha1- seat number 1 & 3

                              In midnight around 2.30 am, a robbery done by 3 to 4 guys in running train, they rob ladies purses and bags in the train while passengers were sleeping, this incident happened with 3 ladies including my mother. There were cash and jewelry inside the bag and most important documents.

                              There was no any security guard or police officer in train and there were two attendants on duty but both people was sleeping. I have one attendant contact information i. E, mr. S arora ([protected])

                              There was a tti - mr. N. S meena (Phone - [protected]) was on duty but attendant called him then he came and report about the robbery into records and provide a fir slip which is not authentic as per my view because there is no any signature in that fir.                               Now i have two concerns about the security in train first there was no police officer in train as my parents are senior citizen and was travelling in 2 a because they want to travel safe and secure journey but there was no security and second is that when coach doors was closed how those robbers came into the coach?

                              Our cash and jewelry were robbed around costs 1 lacs which are only ours but the whole robbery is happened around 6 lacs in running train which is not a short incident.

                                By mistake i put the gender male instead of femail and ticket was booked, as I realised i dint find any options to edit or correct that mistake, called up customer care and she says rebook it. What about the cost incurred in cancelling and rebooking it?

                                It's sill and dissappointing, for minor mistakes such as gender and age there has to be some correction options for a limited period of hours after the booking has Been done.

                                And the customer care lady has no manners whatsoever, on how to talk and solve the issue. I know they have limited authority but they need to learn MANNERS,

                                  I booked one ticket online from Chandausi Jn to Delhi on 30.03.2017 for the date of journey 12.04.2017 through credit card of HDFC Bank.
                                  Further, the ticket was not booked but I got the message grom HDFC Credit that the payment of Rs.1000.29 has been spent at IRCTC 77858.The time of booking was 10.32.26 AM and I did not received any message for booked ticket from IRCTC.Therefore I booked the above ticket again through ICICI credit card and ticket was booked but I could not got back my payment which was done by HDFC card.
                                  Pl refund Rs.1000.29 earliest.

                                    I have got only three refunds till date and two refunds are still pending.

                                      Transaction ID: [protected] : This ticket was booked on 19-Mar-2017 and I had clearly mentioned book the ticket only if one lower berth is available for my aged mother. However, even after having so many seats available, I could not manage to get a lower berth. Still the amount was deducted from my account even before asking do i want to continue. Transaction Amount:1010.0 was deducted and the current Payment status is showing Payment Settled but money is not credited to my bank account yet. Please do the needful and credit refund to my bank account as soon as possible.

                                        Sir, I'm a regular customer of your site IRCTC. It was very unfortunate that today while I was booking an e-ticket a notification informing "PAYMENT REJECTED BY BANK [ Transaction Id: [protected]] You can choose another payment option and try again." like this came. This is the first time I'm facing such a problem and I'm confused. I'm sure that my bank account have the sufficient amount for this transaction. It is facing continue from last 03 days when try to book ticket on line reservation of railwy birth . I humbly request you to see through the problem and fix it as soon as possible Your's truly, vidyadhar date 30/3/2017
