Hi,
I had ordered food (Veg Thali) from the irctc vendor : K M Khandelwal at Daund station.

It turned out that inspite of waiting at the station for more than 20 minutes, the food wasnt delivered. Neither was any effort taken to contact me. When I called up the irctc food catering toll number 1323, they said they will get in touch with the vendor and ask them to deliver the food. However the food wasnt delivered and when I tried to enquire about the vendor contact number, I wasnt provided one.
Also when I searched for the vendor online, I found that they were not listed anywhere and no details was provided by irctc too. When Indian railways is trying to increase the standard of the services, it is sad to see the pathetic condition of the services provided.
Can the irctc compensate me for the food? Or like lakhs of other consumers I will have to sit and suffer the miserable quality of the service promised by the Indian railways.
