Recently I travelled in train pune-gwl express no. 11102 on 12/03/17. I had my reservation in 3AC class, at night i slept keeping my luggage under the berth, when i woke up in the morning i found my bag totally ripped of and have holes every where, i found there were mouses in the train, they have eaten all my eatable items in my bag also they tear my clotes off and damaged my belongings in the bag that costs me around 2500 rs. Such kind o[censored]nhygineic, uncleanliness is intolerable espicially in AC compartment, I want solution for that as a refund of something else.

The issue is serious and if i won't get solution for that i will put my complaint to higher authority or even more.

    RR REFERANCE NO GHYRR699864, date of booking 02/02/2017. I was in guwahati dormitory on 3 march night. I experience lots of mosquitoes inside the room. Although the room was clean still lots of mosquitoes was there. Other passengers also faced same problem. I contacted the retiring room incharge. He said that there is no facility available to remove mosquitoes. Kindly look into the problem.

      I booked an i-Ticket from IRCTC on March 4, 2017 with PNR number [protected]. The journey date was on March 10, 2017. On March 8, 2017, I received an email from [protected]@irctc.co.in that ticket could not be delivered due to "incomplete address, no service area, house locked, no such person available". Even though neither the address was incomplete nor the house was locked as I gave my office address and also my registered number is working 24*7, I received no such call from any courier agency. Yet I immediately responded the mail giving my office address and mobile number again. Despite this I didn't receive any call from courier/IRCTC until afternoon of March 9. Then I again emailed [protected]@irctc.co.in requesting for some contact number of courier company. Then they replied with a contact number of a person named Shashidhar from overnite courier. I talked to him and he assured me that I'd received the ticket by 11:30 am of March 10, 2017. But no one attempted to deliver it within time. Since then I tried to contact Shashidhar almost 30 times but he didn't picked my phone nor he called back. After being very desperate I sent an SMS to him requesting him to give me the number of the delivery boy. He replied me with some contact number but as usual No one picked the phone even after 10 full call retries. I again tried to call Shashidhar and sent an SMS to him but he never didn't replied. When I received no reply, I tried to contact IRCTC customer helpline. After 6 retries I could call helpline number but amazingly the customer representative told me to cancel my ticket. I told him if I didn't received the ticket how can I cancel it, she replied me to go to some railway counter and get the ticket issued by showing some ID and then cancel it. When I asked her to transfer the call to some senior executive she disconnected the call. After around 4 pm on March 10, 2017, someone called me that he had just received the ticket for delivery to me asking my address. But when I told him the office address, he replied that he couldn't deliver to my address as that was "No Service Area" for his company and told me to collect the ticket myself. I told him my inability to go so far and requested him to deliver the ticket by 6 pm as the train was at 10 pm but it was vein.
      Finally the person for whom I booked ticket couldn't get the train just because of all this drama.
      My questions to IRCTC:
      1. If you people could not commit the delivery of i-ticket on time why are you even continuing the service: to waste money and time of public??
      2. Do you people how I felt being tortured by two full days by continuously wasting my time by calling courier representatives and emailing IRCTC just to get the ticket delivery which you people committed and I had the right for it??
      3. Why do IRCTC handled the ticket to a courier company which has my office address marked as "No Service Area"?? Did you people not know the urgency of the ticket??
      4. What kind of dumb and rude people you hired for customer care service who even don't know how to talk to customers?? What a funny solution the customer representative told me for my complaint, "Go to railway counter get your ticket issued by showing ID card and then cancel it!!!"
      5. Who will take the responsibility for all the mess happened to me, for money wasted in ticket, my time, my money wasted in all calls and above all the inconvenience of the person who couldn't go to home in this festive season??

      Please take serious disciplinary actions to courier company, customer representative. And give me compensation for all the wasted money.

          I have been booking rail tickets online since last so many years on desktops for which I am having one account. After I downloaded IRCTC Rail Co. App on my mobile and set my pin and booked a ticket, my ACCOUNT with User ID "sunil28jun" was being shown as suspended and I am not being allowed to book any ticket.

          I registered a complaint with [protected]@irctc.co.in vide my mail dated 10.02.2017, with detail of my USER ID. The complaint was forwarded through my registered email with IRCTC. I wasn't assigned any ticket ID. I followed up with mail dated 13.02.2017. After this I was assigned ticket ID [IRCTC #5145144].

          After no action or communication from [protected]@irctc.co.in, I followed up with mail dated 15.02.2017. I was again assigned ticket ID [IRCTC #5161342]. I talked on phone to customer care who advised that problem shall be rectified within 24 Hrs.

          After no response / action, I mailed to [protected]@irctc.co.in on 16.02.2017, and again I was assigned a ticket ID [IRCTC #5175909].

          As my problem was not being rectified I talked to customer care executive Urmila Dixit on 26.02.2017. She heard my problem and forwarded my mails to concerned departments with a copy to me. She had assured rectification of my problem within 24-48 Hrs.

          But when even after 48 Hrs my problem was not rectified I talked to customer care on 02.03.2017, who again advised me to mail at [protected]@irctc.co.in. I mailed and again was assigned ticket ID [IRCTC #5276255].

          After so many mails and follow ups, till 12.03.2017 my account is still showing suspended.

          Since their is no other option of rail ticket booking online other than IRCTC, I am left with no option. I am seriously thinking of indulging in MALPACTICE i.e opening another account that shall be fake as IRCTC site will not allow me to open a new account with my actual phone number and actual email ID which are registered with my existing account.

          What should i do wait or open a new account. Kindly HELP

          The Complaint is still not resolved and is being shown as resolved by IRCTC. My account is still suspended. Complete lies are being depicted on IRCTC website. I have taken a snapshot of my still suspended account today (30.03.2017) and sent at [email protected]. They have received my mail and again assigned ticket ID [IRCTC #5479599] Government is trying to push digitization & here we are after writing so many mails since 10.2.2017 and taking repeatedly to customer care of IRCTC, no one is bothered on the issue of digitization and about common man. Is their no one to listen or do we have to write directly to Railway minister / PM on such small issues.

            I made a complaint Indian Railways-CD: Your complaint has been registered with complaint no. W/SC/HYB/[protected]. We'll get back to you soon.

            While tracking it shows no complaints pending neither the refund is credited to my account

              In the case of non booking of ticket in railway and Payment was deducted.it was refunded later, however the service charge amounting Rs. 11.50 which was also taken was neither refunded by bank or IRCTC. This is unjustified because without booking of ticket customer has to pay service charge. Please do the needful.and reply to my email id -shrikant.[protected]@gmail.com

              As asked by Shri Raja Ram Gope, Executive Customer Care on 13.3.2017 through mail, we are providing the following details:
              user id- SRIKANTTU1
              date of booking of ticket:6 Feb 2017 for journey date 28.2.2017
              ticket could not be booked due to unknown reason, then refund of the money was made through reference no. 1000007361936112000002603IXGABQCZM4. However, the charges of Rs. 11.50/- on dated 8th February, 2017 was debited from my account against IRCTC commission which was not refunded further.
              Further, the same situation created on 12.3.2017 and ticket could not booked however, the charges of Rs. 11.50/- on dated 14th February, 2017 was debited from my account against IRCTC commission.

              In both the incidents, i am in loss because without f booking of the tickets i am having to pay the IRCTC commission of Rs. 11.50/- for failure bookings .

              so once again i want to mention that the Govt. is promoting the digitization but due to such a scenario, it would be better for me and other also, to go to the railway counter and pay the cash directly to save money and to get rid of such situation.

              In view of above, i request you to examine the matter thoroughly and refund the aforesaid amount as well as make the clear rule of refund so that no customer can be in loss for failure booking. it is also requested that please provide the confirmed ticket for which amount has already been deducted from the concerned account

                Today at 11.10AM, I tried to book a ticket for my wife's (DHANALAKSHMI N) travel from Bangalore to Chennai in train No.. 12658, CHENNAI, MAIL twice. . Both time, Rs. 367.45 has been taken from credit card, but ticket has not been booked. Because of this, my wife experienced lot of problems. The amount Rs. 2 x 367.45 = 734.90 may kindly be refunded to me immediately.

                  The vendor is NOT SELLING approved drinking water which is Rail Neer in this train. Right from CSTM (where we boarded the train), they kept on saying that their Manager has informed them that they have run out of water.

                  Then I asked for the complaint register and they refused to give it.

                  Then I complained to the TTE, in whose intervention I got one bottle of Rail Neer.

                  But this did not stop here, again they started to sell other brands of water other than Rail Neer.

                  When I again raised the matter up with the TTE, did they sudden bring the whole bucket filled with the approved Rail Neer.

                  The above therefore proves that they always had Rail Neer with them, that the Vendor led by the Owner of the Company and its Managers are CHEATING the Customers and Indian Railway and therefore pray that they should be legally prosecuted and jailed for the above offense.

                    Irctc website and service both sucks as before - No improvements !!!
                    Idk what the heck Incharge is doing if any one want to travel and it's urgent he can't get just one ticket if he tries in tatkal it goes in TQWL in just Four minutes .I don't know who the hell is so fast.Tatakl booking time is 10am In first two minutes the **** server of this site doesn't and after two minutes all available seats changes into TQWL ..just one word the f_____ you "IRCTC". I have never seen such a **** thing in my life!

                      I have booked an e-ticket from IRCTC to travel on date 19/10/2014 via PNR no [protected] on 12361 ASN CSTM SUP EXP (whose Sch. Dep. was 19/10/2014 19:45 hrs.) which was late more than 3 hours and actually departed on 20/10/2014 11:10 hrs. I filed TDR at 20/10/2014 09:48 hrs. Firstly CR refund only half amount stating below the status of my complaint. With reference to complaint no. W/CR/BB/[protected] it was mentioned that "As per record available in refund menu, A Sahu has travelled as per Electronic Deposit Receipt(EDR) and B Sahu has not travelled as per EDR. Hence as per rule only 1 passenger is eligible for full refund due to train late for more than 3 hours." The train (12361 ASN CSTM SUP EXP) actual departure was 20/10/2014 11:10 hrs. and the train (12321 HWH MUM MAIL) in which I have travelled on the same date (20/10/2014 12:40 hrs)
                      with PNR no. [protected]. I have got only half of the amount refund (Rs. 2140/-) whereas I have got approval for refund (Closing statement of my complaint no. W/CR/BB/[protected]; on website www.coms.indianrailways.gov.in, ) The closing statement of my complaint was "An amount of Rs.2140/has been arranged as refund through PO 305103 dated 10.08.16 against PNR [protected] to IRCTC for
                      arranging on line credit to party."But yet I haven't got refund of my rest amount.

                          Traveling from Vishakapatnam to Hyderabad by train no 18509 . Ordered veg biryani from the pantry car. As per waiter, it was rs100/-. Had doubt and asked for price menu. Replied he does not have it and the manager has it. went to pantry car and asked for it but did not receive it instead was offered free food. I insisted for the rates to be displayed in the car. Later he showed the chart which was supposed to be displayed. To my surprise it was 55Rs. Now when is asked what is this difference for? He plainly said that he cannot prepare this for Rs 55 and also have to meet other expences . Now the question is How much does this Caterer make? How much extra amt does the passenger have to pay for the food?
                          Request IRCTC to make it mandatory to display the price meenu in every coach so that the passenger are not looted.

                            It's been more than 20 days I have cancelled 4 tickets, and I am still waiting for the amount of 3 tickets to be credited back to my bank account.
                            I have send multiple e mails to care @irctc.co.in, with the bank account statement.But there is no reply from Irctc side.
                            I am sending you the images of account statement and tickets.The same has already been forwarded to Irctc but there is no reply from the other side.

                            I am not able to understand why Irctc is taking a month to credit the money back to my account.The last email I got from Irctc 5 -6 days back stating that will get my money soon.But till date no one from Irctc has bothered to look into this matter.

                              I was booking ticket for myself for the rajdhani 12957 from ahmedabad to new delhi for 14th of march. 2187 indian rupee got deducted from my account but ticket did not got booked on 08/03/2017. i request you to solve this problem as soon as possible.

                                In IRCTC the failed transactions are processed within 2 to 3 working days. It would be automatically credited to your account where it was debited. So wait for a couple of days for further action. Also you check the status in "Failed Transaction History" in your IRCTC Login

                                  Hi,

                                  I booked train ticket in irctc.co.in website on 08th March, 2017 under the Transaction #[protected]. I use the Paytm net banking option to process my payment.
                                  The transaction got failed and the ticket was not issued but the amount Rs. 6401.50 got deducted from my Indian Bank account. Kindly arrange for the refund of the same amount and advise me for further course of action in this regard. Please note that I do not have any Paytm account and I did not do any transaction through Paytm before. Therefore, kindly refund the same amount to my Indian Bank account.

                                  .I have mistaken in my irctc registration by entering the wrong Email ID. wrong ID i have entered is [protected]@gmai.com and my original correct ID is [protected]@gmail.com .
                                  kindly i apologise for entering wrong email id and support me to change the correct id or change by yourself
                                  Where do I sleep when we have men all over the bogie? They even occupied reservation seats

                                    I, Rahul sahu, had booked a ticket for my sister Miss Swati Sahu, the date of travel of which was 3/1/17 from habibganj station to nizamuddin station with generated PNR number [protected], but the train was running late by more than 12 hours, so I filed TDR for the same ticket due to late running of the train on 3/1/17 itself way before the departure of the train from habibganj station, but till date I have not received refund of the above ticket costing Rs. 1565.

                                      Sir Sihora road railway station cycle stand vender is taking 3 times extra amount declared by the railway. He also take a advance amount without any receipt. No body is taking a action against him because he gives a money to them. We have also complaint in your twitter account and Sihora station but there is no any response till now.

                                      Sir, on 16 jan 2016 I filed a TDR against PNR NO [protected] and reg no is[protected], Cancellation ID [protected]. But I didn't received the money yet. It is going to complete 2 months. So please go through this and refund my money.

                                        I booked ticket from my IRCTC account by using SBI net-banking for 3 people in one ticket. IRCTC Commission deducted twice with same narration. This is not a good practices to loot customer. For more detail, have a look in added photos.
                                        Hope my extra amount will be refunded soon with proper action taken against them.

                                        IRCTC has suspended my user account "haridcs1", without any valid reason and upon contacting [protected]@irctc.co.in, they are asking us to create new mail account and obtain new Cell number, which is not practical.

                                        Would be greatful for early resolution of the matter

                                        I cancelled my ticket but did not recieved my refund amount. I wrote mail on customer care of irctc but till now no reply. I don't know what to do.i cancelled my ticket on 22nd feb 2017. Train was from gaya to lucknow. My friend cancelled his ticket on 28th and got refund today.
