I booked 3 online ticket using irctc on 28th Nov 2016 and 4th Dec 2016 for train no. 15910 to travel on the date 11th Feb to Gonda to attend my own Wedding Sangeet function. Train got cancelled and i got an sms from irctc about this cancellation on the day of travel i.e. 11th feb at 3:46 AM. After checking the message in the morning, there was complete chaos in the family. As me being the bride and my own brother and sister were not able to attend the function.
Though i don't really expect much from Irctc but if they could have send this message on the day train got cancelled or may be 1-2 days before travel day, I could have made some alternate arrangements. It was one of the life time event for my which i missed due to mismanagement and ignorance of irctc.

    Hi Team,
    What is the use of TDR, if a person not travelling due to unavoidable situation then he/she may not have time to cancel the ticket before scheduled departure of the train and in that case. How to cancel the ticket? This is completely unfair to expect the person to know if he/she could travel in spite the berth/ticket seat will be allocated to another person.

        I Booked ticket from IRCTC using the PAYTM payment gateway on[protected] using my cousin brother's IDBI visa Debit card but unfortunately ticket has not been booked but ticket amount has been deducted from my cousin brother's account and still he didn't getting any refund . I enclosed all the relevant details kindly refund money as soon as possible.

        I have another concern today morning someone call me with this mobile no-[protected] and told me he is calling from IRCTC and told me to disclose my cousin brother's card expiry date as well as the CVV code.I refused to give him such kind of details. He told me he will refund my money after I disclose this details as I contact to bank they told me never give anyone this kind of details to anyone.I want that IRCTC take this kind of matter seriously how someone calling like this as take an appropriate action against this kind of fraud people.

          I was on my way to rajahmundry from vizag station in S11 coach Of train number 17488
          Tirumala express @15february 2017.

          I was feeling thirsty so I thought of purchasing a water bottle from railway catering.

          It was unfortunate that catering person was selling the water bottle for 20rs which is actually of 15rs.

          He was arguing with me and finally I don't have any other option of paying him 20rs.

          It may be very small issue but if it happens to some lakhs of co passengers imagine it leads to some crores of corruption in an indirect way.

          I don't think I will get justice for my 5rs due from irctc, but make sure it won't repeat for any other passengers.

                    My son mohak has booked 3 (Three) no. Of e - tickets for myself, father, his mother & grand mother with pnr no. [protected] transaction id [protected] dt.[protected] date of journey[protected] from patna jn (Pnbe) to chennai central (Mas) by 12577 bagmati express in third ac. Passeger to board the train at mirzapur station on[protected] unfortunately the train no. 12577 of[protected]was cancelled due to heavy rain in chennai causing great harassment to the passenger.. As per refund rules of indian railway w. E. F[protected], in case of cancellation of train by railway, the amount of tickets booked is returned to passenger automatically in the account from which the tickets is booked, i have not received the amount. Formal complain with irctc vide their ticket no. 2872991, 3847338, 3884912 & 4772165 was lodged for refund of ticket amount.. Also registered grievance in govt. Greivance portal vide no. Morly/e/2016/17874 & w/nv/ald/[protected] nad also filed tdr for the same. But yet to receive the amount of ticket which is rs. 5315.60 including taxes.

                      I have booked a ticket from new delhi to hyderabad at kachiguda station (Hyderabad) through debit card.

                      I am writing this complaint on[protected] & i have been thrice to kacheguda station, twice to sbi bank & also andhra bank to know the processing of my refund.
                      As per customer care, it shall take 5 to 7 working days for returning the money, but it has taken around 25 odd days & still counting.

                      Kindly, refund my money as soon as possible.

                      The staff serve nastha - either bread omelet or bread cultlet.

                      They charge Rs. 47 for bread omlet and it is exhorbitant by all standard. The food is also cold.

                      Can you look in to this and stop this looting.

                            Hello,

                            I've canceled by ticket No : A 62382419 on Jan 21 2017 around 5:30 PM from Nampally station counter.

                            I've used my SBH card to pay for the ticket. The counter person processed the refund to my andhra bank rupay card stating he will not be able to process the refund to my SBH card Maestro card. It's been more than 10 working days but I haven't received my refund. I have been going around banks and railway counter but no one was able to help me with refund. My bank states that refund was not processed, and asking me to contact IRCTC and IRCTC counter guys asking me to contact bank..
                            I am at verge of loosingmy interest in using IRCTC online transaction. This incident is so bizzare that i am never going to refer anybody to use cards again... I hope you guys see this and get back to me ... I am in no situation to loose 970 bucks that i have paid to railways... Please do needful!!..

                                I have booked a ticket from KTYM to MAS on 13 Dec, 2016 and Date of Journey was 14 Dec, 2016.The Train was delayed more than 5 hours on that day, due to this reason passenger has not traveled, I filled the TDR for the same in IRCTC against my ticket and the status was turned to CR Registered, but the amount was not refunded yet.                                   I need your help on my refund from irctc.

                                  I had booked a train ticket via irctc on 20th jan 2017 to vijayawada by cape howrah express (12666) pnr - [protected]. At the time of boarding it was informed by the station manager that the train was cancelled to this station and it was diverted via kerala due to recent jallikattu protest in tamilnadu. Hence i have filed a tdr to get my refund and got a reply from customer care stating it has been forwarded to south eastern railway on 29th jan. So far no one has replied on this concern.

                                  Shall i take this as a decent example of corruption by indian railway officials or irctc for not refunding my hard earned money? Please keep in mind if it happens to you and will keep silent or you won’t feel any pain like a general public. Please do not loot our hard earned money and requesting you to bring some honesty to a common man.

                                  I’m expecting a revert from the right authority at the earliest.

                                  Any update on my registered complaint here. As per the refund status from IRCTC, it was approved by them to refund my money. However, I don't understand why are they holding it in the IRCTC finance team. Please find attached the refund status from IRCTC for your reference. Please do take necessary step to refund my money at the earliest.

                                  I was travelled sambal our express in 7th february 2017 from Secunderabad station to bobbili, s1 berth 19, 20 all the berths are too much dust i asked to TT he said how to possible cleaning all seats so clean your self
                                  We are everyday cheated by the irctc pantry car workers of konark express..They charge rs10 for one piece of samosa...It's better to buy those samosa from somewhere outside.shame on irctc corrupted people..Shame on Indian railways
