Overcharging by the catering services.

This is to inform that today 24/01/2017. I'm traveling through Ajmer Jammu express towards my destination Gurgaon.

The catering vendors are charging extra on everything. The cold drink and the bakery products. They are charging RS. 5 extra on everything.

Could you please let me know what are the extra charges for.

I have booked my tickets from gondia to ujjain on 14jan and payment settled late by bank and my tickets didn't get book. It happened twice.

The quality of tea or coffee provided by irctc is not at all satisfying. The taste seems like more of the paper cup which is used to serve the tea or coffee. Really very dissatisfying on the part of Indian railways.
I booke a tkt on 14 of jan 2017 on the website of irctc and did a payment through paytm wallet money got deducted and tkt were not booked and wen i say ma passbook it shows tkt successful .Paid for OrderIRCTC E Ticketing Order #[protected]Paytm Cash Txn ID [protected]-01-14 11:02:02 AM 2031.19rs is the amount plzz get me back ma payment .

    I had tried to book the ticket from ernakulam to pune the money from my account was bred deducted but the transaction failed for booking the money is not been refunded yet. Also attaching with the epassbook.

    The online ticketing officials are unable to provide proper ticketing to the customer . they have confusions while handling the machine . we were being given the tickets of the different train for the another train rates. we expect to get the refund of the ticket

      My pnr no. [protected] is and date of journey is[protected]. I have booked a general ticket from bidar to bangalore vide train no.16572 (1 sleeper) but the ticket got cancelled by mistake during our process of checking status. The journey is very important to us due to some family problems. Kindly return us our tickets so that we can travel against the same booking and do not suffer the financial loss for such unwanted mistake. Please look into the matter seriously.

        I tried to book a tatkal ticket from pmy to pune on 13 jan 2017.

        Rs 2408 got debited from my account but the transaction failed.
        Please confirm when the refund would be received.

          Respected Sir,
          I am Nidhi Patel from Gujarat. I was travelling from Hazzrat Nizamuddinot, Delhi to vadodara by a train and I lost my laptop bag at midnight between 1:30-4:30 am. Most probably at mathura. I was sleeping with my bag underneath my head. I woke up at 4:30 and found there was no laptop bag. I immediately went to search THE and RPF. There was no RPF or TTE. So I went to another coach and met TTE and asked for help he bluntly replied me that it is not his duty to take care of that coach. RPF are there you tell them about the incident. I found no one on the train. And from Nizamuddin till Ratlam no TTE came to us for ticket checking.
          Then we had just one option we tweeted to Railway minister Suresh Prabhu. So we got a call from Government railway were we were informed to register a complain at vadodara junction as it was our last stop. At vadodara railway station we met an officer of GRP he asked us to register a complain online through a machine setup at platform no.1 on vadodara junction. We went there and found it not working.
          We came to know about a crime 1 to 1.5 hours before kota station. We reached kota station at 6 AM. So there i went to railway police or government police. I don't know which was that. They wrote my complaint but didn't acknowledge me with a copy. They asked me to call mathura railway station police. But actually they were supposed to register my complain and launch a FIR there but they refused. Main head of the department was standing an watching dumb and at last asked me to write down the landlines number of mathura railway police.

          At 5 PM TTE named harindra shrivastav filed an 0 number FIR after much request of mine. But FIR had a question asking a name of TTE on the coach so when I asked them about the name of the TTE that I met in other coach as my coach didn't had TTE, they didn't gave me information about the TTE.

          Now it has been more than 24 hour after theft occurred. I didn't find any means to register my complain because everyone gave third person's name. I was really tortured on the train. I was roaming for TTE from morning 5 to evening 5 to file a complain.
          Now crime took place at mathura or before mathura but we came to know when we were near to kota railway station. So I want to launch an FIR to respective police stations.
          Now Please register my complain and kindly provide my complain register number.
          I was travelling with my friend.

          My TDR number ([protected]) is still with CR registered status. Please let me know when the amount would be credited back into my account. It has been 2.5 month and it is in same status.

              I recently booked a ticket for Panchavati Express(12109) from Nasik Road to Dadar
              Date of Journey- 02 Jan 2017

              The amount got deducted from my bank account but ticket did not get booked due to error on the IRCTC MOBILE APP
              I have contacted IRCTC atleast 10 times via email but they do not help at all. Also their phone line is forever busy so even that option is closed.
              Kindly refund the amount, so that I can make a new booking.

                  I had booked a ticket for Habibganj to Mumbai in Kushinagar Express, which was supposed to arrive on 5th December at 12:12 pm but instead the train didn't come and so I filed a TDR for my confirmed reservation of PNR No. [protected] as train more than 3 hours late and passenger didn't travel. But I have still not received the refund for that TDR. Some two weeks back, I dropped an email to [protected]@irctc.com. I received a reply that my TDR was forwarded to CR Railway authorities on 24 December and they were yet to receive my refund.

                  I dropped a mail 4 days back again enquiring about the current status to which I have received no reply till date.

                  Please assist me to take up this grievance.

                    Hi,

                    My user id is heena_525 and this is regarding my ticket ID "4758415".

                    I had booked 2 tickets on 10 Dec, 2016 from -
                    ANVT to GHJ for 5 Feb 2017
                    GHJ to DLI for 9 Feb 2017
                    Total amount to be refunded : Rs 1880

                    But the amount had been deducted from my ICICI account and the tickets didn't booked. So i request you guys to please refund the amount of Rs.1880 into my ICICI account.

                    It's been a month and still the team didn't refunded the amount. Is the way of solving the problem?

                    I need this problem to be solved asap else i will complaint to higher authority.

                      I travelled by shatabdi 120011.C6/24 from new delhi to chandigarhon 19/1/17.it started 2 1/2 hours late.no tea was offered in the 1st 2 hours.the foldable tray was extremely dirty and was not cleaned inspite of my requestcutlet was unpalatble. only 1 spoon was providedfor butter jam nd making tea.after quickly clearing away our trays the boys started offering tea coffee sandwithes on payment.if you cant provide good quality food why not make catering optional.otherwise the amount you charge is cheating the customer.i filled a feedback form too

                          I booked tickets from Delhi to SVDK for 11th March on Jammu mail. I tried booking the tickets thrice but the first two times the were not booked but the money got deducted from my account..same happened when I tried booking tickets from Jammu to Bareilly for 13th March from himgiri express.

                          All this happened when I was trying to book lower birth tickets.

                            On 17/12/2016 I had tried to book a ticket from irctc with transaction number [protected]. Which was unsuccessful attempt. But it's refund is still pending and not reflecting in my bank account. On irctc portal it is showing that the refund is credit on 20/12/2016 but there is no such transaction on that date in my account.
                            i tried to call many times on various irctc numbers but nobody responded the call. i sent them the issue with the email but only ticket for complaint was generated the issue did not resolve.

                              I booked ticket in Train No.- 22824 from bokaro steel city(BKSC) to Bhubaneswar (BBS) on 28-Dec-2016. The train was more than 12 hrs late. On 27-Dec-2016, I filed TDR before actual departure yet not received the amount. When I checked my TDR status it was written as CR REPUDIATE. It is requested to look into the matter and clear the amount as soon as possible.

                                They Suddenly suspended my irctc online ticket booking account and no one is responding through email or provided contact no's. i have 4000rs in my irctc wallet. i want the amount to be refunded to my bank account or the account to be activated immediately. I would like to know the reason for account suspension.

                                The customer support is worst and no one respond through emails and contact no's provided in irctc contact us page.

                                  My recent journey through Rajdhani Express (Down 12423) was very unpleasant. I have found that the quality and the quantity of food as well as the behavior of catering staff is pathetic. No continental food has been served. No liquid soap in toilets and the toilets are too dirty to defecate. No cleanliness inside the coach. Many of my fellow passengers have been served with dirty towels, dirty bed sheets, and dirty pillow covers.

                                    IBM Vikas jotangiya travelling from Surat to vasai on date 20-01-17 III m barmer yeshvatnpur Express and I took a local super fast ticket from ticket Window and then I request TC to give me ticket for AC if possible then he gave me his seat in B8 coach seat no - 7.. but when I reach there there is already a passenger and the Coach attendant name Renu singh was there he told me that there is no seat vacant here and he hit me and thorough my luggage out of birth...Then Renu sing and two other coach attendant misbehave with me and hit me very badly...Sir this is not the method to behave with passenger... Please sir please I request you to please transfer them and take strict action against them...

                                      I am a student and belongs to MP. I was about to travel from Bhopal to Chennai in Tamil Nadu express on 8-JAN-2017, With PNR no. [protected]. But since Train was 18.30 Hrs Reschedule from its original departure(Actually train was 30 Hrs late but I don't have a screenshot of that since I have it for 18.30Hr so I am claiming for that), and I have to reach, now I contact with IRCTC on phone call even I have recording for same, The guy on phone told me to File TDR you will get full refund, hence I filled and booked another ticket in Jaipur Madras Express on[protected] with PNR no. of [protected], but they rejected my TDR as they are telling that you cross the limit of filing TDR, the guy on phone only told me to file why should I bear the loss even though I didn't travel on that train.

                                      I have not got my money refunded for pnr nos [protected] and [protected] which i cancelled[protected], rs 110 for each is to be refunded, on the same date i cancelled 2 more tickets and i have got my money back for those two tickets, but for the pnr's mentioned above i have not . so, please sort this out as soon as possible
