Yself Suyash Kumar Dubey is a gazetted officer in govt of NCT of DELHI. I have booked a AC 3 TIER ticket at irctc THROUGH MY ID lucky8300 fordelhi from gorakhpur jn in train no12565, train name -bihar sampark kranti exp, pnr no-[protected], journey date -20 april 2016 on[protected] at about 6 pm through my irctc id lucky8300.the status of the ticket was RL/WL 15. the said train arrival time in delhi was at about 6 am on 21 april 2016 on which date i had to join my duty after casual leave at about 10 am at karkardooma court complex, prosecution branch.i was determind if My ticket gets confirm in the said train, i receive a confirmation sms by irctc on my mobile no [protected] as i was used to but before 4 hours of departure time of the train from gorakhpur and after chart preparation i didnt receive any sms or mail thats why i thought that my ticket had not been confirmed.after that i was confirmed that i will receive my deducted ticket amount from irctc. on which i travelled for delhi at about 800 km by bus and reached delhi at about 11 am and i had to take 1/2 CL ON 21 APRIL 2016. WHEN I checked my irctc account i found that my said ticked had been confirmed but the confirmation sms was not sent to me by irctc thats why i bore physical, mental harrasment and also reached late on my duty due to which i took 1/2 days CL AND LOSS OF ABOVE 1150 RUPEES. KINDLY refund my said ticket amount of RS 1130+45.8 IRCTC CHARGES+10 SBI CHARGES=1185 RUPEES Sending of confirmatiom sms is the duty and responsibility of IRCTC WHICH WAS NOT sent to me. kindly refund my ticket amount otherwise i will take legal action against irctc in consumer forum. i can provide the details of bus ticket of 20 april 2016 and my 1/2 day CL application moved in my oofice and received thereto.

      We are travelling by train no. 12259 sealdah duronto on 28/4/2016. Our pnr ni.[protected] coach no.A1 seats no.7, 8, 9, 10 and 13. Train arrived New Delhi station at 29/4/2016 around 1410 hrs. Lunch was not provided by the catering persons when we approached he ran away from our coach which is responsibility of irctc if train arrives late. Kindly look after this matter.

          Dear sir/madam,

          I have filed tdr on internet against pnr no. [protected], transaction i.D- [protected] on 18-nov-2015. Tdr status is shown as “cr registered “against irctc reference no for this is: [protected]. Despite a lapse of over 6 months the refund has not been credited into my bank account. Such delays must be checked personally by the ccm/refund or concerned zonal railways, and take remedial measures to avoid such delay in future. The refund amount please be credited into my bank account without further delay.

            I have a regular, conscientious, law-abiding user of irctc services for the past 12-14 years or more. Suddenly, about 2 weeks back, my user id was blocked. On checking up with the customer care, i was informed that it was due to "fraudulent activity" that i was supposed to have committed. They suggested that i create a new user id with a new cell number and new email id. I repeatedly called them several times over the past 2 weeks, and sent several mails indicating my inability to procure a new cell number just for the sake of creating a new log-in id. The responses, each time, was pathetic. The call centre executives neither could communicate properly in english, nor were they bothered to give a proper reply. Some of my complaint ticket nos. Are 3240529, 3241284, 3241174, 3246683, 3249610, 3249720, 3261040.
            I look forward to a quick resolution to my problem

              Sir,
              I have been using IRCTC service to book train tickets since from 2008.
              I book train tickets for my family only and not even for friends.
              I hardly book 15 to 20 tickets per year.

              Recently my user id got blocked and I have written many mails to them, but no response. After 7 days, I called customer care. First day one executive told me that I did not fill my profile and hence it was disabled. He asked me to wait for 24 hours. But, after 2 days also it was not enabled and hence I called them again. Second time, one executive gave me the reason that, I have misused the service. I did not have any answer. Now, I can not book any tickets. If I have misused, well, I appreciate them. But, how they can tell me that I have misused. They did not even tell me which way I have misused? kindly help me.

                  I was travelling to jaipur from delhi via double decker train on 17th april but the train was cancelled from indian railways after 6 hours delay due to some work going on tracks.I contacted irctc customer care and they said firstly they are not aware about any train cancellation and in case if it is done they will refund the amount within 7 days.Now it has been more than 7 days and there is no update as to when the amount will be refunded back to customers.This cancellation news was also been published in news paper but seems like irctc is not bothered about the refund.I am attaching the newspaper screenshot so that you are aware about the same.I have booked my ticket via mobikwik but even they are not replying on the same case as to why till now my money has not been refunded in my account.

                  The staff in the train are charging more amount for the goods then the MRP.
                  They are charging Rs20 for a water bottle which has a MRP of Rs 15/-.

                    Hi

                    I have been using irctc same login from last 10 years and this month I have booked 5-6 tickets for my family relatives and after that I tried to login online though irctc it says user is disabled. How can you disable account for booking tickets what's is fraud in this. My account and I booked tickets .

                    I have called customer care more than 20 times and worst ever as irctc.

                    I have emailed they are saying create new profile, what should I create a new profile when there is no mistake from my side . I have few tickets booked and next week is travel how should I get the details of the tickets I booked using this account.

                    When I tried to login from website it says user disabled and if I login from mobile app its working. What kind of the system the irctc is using. IRCTC is doing fraud here not from my account .

                    Hope you understand my frustration and enable my account I have travel coming week.

                      I booked an e- ticket through IRCTC of train shm- tvc vivek express for 26.04.2016 for journey from shalimar to Tirupur . The passenger is of 79 years of age. The ticket booked is of 2A but the seat alloted to me is A1, 46 that is Upper seat .
                      How can i super senior citizen step up and seat on upper seat..Is this way right..
                      And the lower seats are in RAC ..there is no way out to adjust with the lower seat passengers also.. This is not Right at all..
                      I await for an strict and positive Action against Indian Railways
                      I would plead some top officials to take serious actions against INDIAN RAILWAY not because I faced lot of inconvience, but to better the system.

                        - on same date i was applying for urgent reservation(Tatkal) online from allahabad (Up) to howrah (Wb), and when i got the payment link i chose debit card payment (Sbi debit card). My money was deducted from my account, i also got a message for the same but my reservation was not done and until now that money is not refunded.
                        - so i am requesting here for a refund of my money.

                          Dear Sir / Madam
                          I have been trying to approach IRCTC through to customer care service since a couple of months but am not able to get a resolution to my issue.
                          Few months back I was wrongly accused by IRCTC of fraud during tatkal hours on the IRCTC website.
                          Though I have never ever misused the irctc websites and have been a long time user to book my travel tickets without causing any misconduct, my account was suspended
                          I was told that I will need to register using a different Mobile and Email. I dont have any other mobile
                          So does that mean I am not allowed to travel via Indian Railways hence forth without doing anything wrong?
                          I have not been also told what Fraud was done so that I could fight it.
                          No Doubt irctc is doing good by trying to stop frauds from misusing and making ticketing smooth
                          But is there no mechanism to separate the actual frauds from the genuine travelers like me?
                          Request your help on the issue at the earliest.

                            I have file the tdr request on 8th of oct. 2015 while our train was cancelled on same date from amritsar to ajmer train no. 19612.But they have return my amount of pnr no.[protected] & [protected] but when i asked to return my amount for other tickets for the same train which has the pnr no. Of [protected], [protected] & [protected] they had refused while saying the train was on time and ran from the station and after that i have put so many mails to irctc but no one answered my mail. Now i finally got the reply while saying that the train run on time but it was not ran and irctc refund my amount for 2 pnr no. Which i mentioned above and now how they can say that train run on time??? Please look into this matter as soon as possible because it has been more then 6 months and release my due amount. Waiting for your decision otherwise i have to hire a lawyer to file the case against indian railway.

The final status of the ticket was passenger 1 - CNF, passenger 1- wl 1 and passenger 2 - wl 2 after chart preparation. We could not travelled Then i tried to cancel the ticket on next day but systems is not allowed for this we request to kindly refund me amount o 2 WL tickets

                                Tdr status shows cr registered but refund amount not received

                                I have booked a ticket from irctc
                                From patna to barauni on 4 dec,
                                2014 and date of journey was 04th oct, 2015.
                                Train was late for more than 3 hrs and hence we coulndt traveled, i filled the tdr
                                For the same in irctc against my ticket and the
                                Status was turned to cr registered, but the
                                Amount was not refunded yet.
                                I am not sure what else i might be missing to

Gatte i booked two tickets from vijayawada to visakhapatnam on 25th april 2016 for journey on 28th april for two adults and the amount of rs. 322.1 has been debited in my bank account but no ticket has been booked and no message regarding refund is also not there. I have done this transaction through andhra bank net banking. A public undertaking doing these cannot be tenable

                                    I booked a tatkal ticket using irctc site today (25th april 2016). When i booked, i wrongly selected the gender as 'female' instead of 'male'. Since that is a tatkal ticket, i don't get money back if i cancel.

                                    I contacted irctc customer care (139). They are sauying can't edit the ticket, have to cancel the ticket and book again, but its tatkal ticket and i wont get money back.

                                    Please advice on this...

                                    Info: i have all proof of documents(Pan card, aadhar card) to show it was wrongly selected the gender as 'female' instead of 'male'.

                                      Today i.E.[protected] i was travelling on ldh ndls shatabdi express (Train no: 12038). They had poor service even after paying the service tax to government. We are paying 600 per passenger for ticket, so that we can get the good service and food but not. I board the train at tohana(Tun) station they didn't provide the water bottle even i'd asked them for about 5 to times at last they give water to me after 45 min(Approx). After that i'd asked for any drink then waiter said you have forgotten to ask for drink now drinks are finish, literally i was shocked no sense at all.Coming to their mess some passengers take picture and video of mess they will definitely upload on pm website and irctc also. The food quality was very very poor. If they didn't provide the best service to us then why would we travel on this train. I would appreciate if you would make some changes in their management so that no passenger would never face this issue again and it will even increase the passengers list for this train. We will definitely pay thanks to irctc if irctc would take this complaint seriously and take some action.
