Dear sir/ madam,

I have herewith registering a complaint regarding the refund of ticket which is got automatically cancelled due to non confirmation. I have booked the ticket for inr. 315/- but the refund amount is inr. 255/-. Kindly clarify why is it so?... The ticket details are as follows. Pnr. [protected] date of journey 14/04/2016. Kannur yeahwanthpur express.

Kindly revert back at the earliest or else we will go ahead with legal complaince.

    I was bookking ticket from bhopal to kalyan for train no.12154 dt.13.5.16 from irctc site & finaly amount diducted from my sbi a/c but ticket not prepared & no sms come to my mobile for booking.
    So pl.Do necessory action & either send me ticket if prepared or refund amount in my account.

      2 years before on 14 october 2014 i was travelling from 12854(Amarkantak express) from jabalpur to bilaspur which was running late by more than 3 hrs. i was having reservation in Sleeper class as well as AC-3 tier...so i filed a TDR for sleeper class by giving reason that train is late by more than 3hrs...and i was traveling in AC-3 on same train and same date...but 2 years have been over they are not refunding my money of sleeper class and no one is paying attention towards my complaint... kindly help regarding this PNR for sleeper class- [protected] PNR for AC-3 - [protected] Also they deleted the ticket from my irctc account but i have ticket in my mail id...
      inspite of several maLS to [protected]@irctc.co.in and letter to ccm no response and they only reply that case is under investigation to SECR...write from two years they reply same thing...

      Always try to book Tatkal ticket. Getting error " Only two tickets between 10 to 12 pm" I have not yet booked any tickets. Its ridiculous. How come? not even booked tickets. IRCTC cheating common people. Please work on this issue. Help the people.

        I had sent a parcel by train (Train no 22815) from nagpur to trissur on 4 april 2016.
        3 out of 4 baggages were received at thrissur on 5 april 2016, but one of the baggage is said to be in ernaculam. The authorities in thrissur station are not showing any interest in our problem.

          I booked a ticket online on irctc account which had pnr number [protected]. The train departs from tirupati at morning 05:40am. I tried cancelling the ticket after midnight but when i tried opening the irctc webpage it displayed that the site is under maintenance from midnight 12:00am to morning 6:00am. When i tried to cancel the ticket after 6:00am the train had already departed and i couldn't cancel the ticket. Now tell me how can i get refund? T

              I am retired naval officer and a very elderly person (Over 69 years). A few months ago i booked a railway ticket through irctc for travel from palakkad to cannore. (Pnr no, [protected]) unfortunately while booking i made an inadvertent error of booking a ticket for 25 march 2016 instead of booking for 25 feb 2016. I realised the mistake as soon i completed the booking and called up the customer service immediately (With in 15 minutes) to help me cancel the ticket for a full refund. The person who attended my call said as per the railway rules, even though this was a mistake i will have to forfeit approx. 75% of the ticket fare paid by me. I therefore wrote a letter (Copy attached) stating the circumstances under which the mistake was made and that i contacted the irctc with in 15 minutes of the booking. However, the irctc was unable to help and resolve the issue. Even though i relentlessly tried to submit my complaint with irctc, indian railways and even the minister of railways (Through the respective web portals), finally i had no other option but to request a cancellation to avoid losing all the money i spend on the ticket. I did try to make a complaint to the indian railways but was unable to do so as the indian railways complaint portal do not have a provision for registering a complaint for requesting a refund for ticket booked on the irctc website. I even send a request to the railway minister's web portal but i am not sure if the message was actually send (May be due to built in restriction to prevent misuse). I had initially booked the ticket for rs. 565.80 and what i got when i cancelled the ticket was only rs. 140/-. I am of the opinion that this is an act of total injustice and probably the worst in the world. I would be most grateful if this could be brought to the attention of our honorable railway minister and the prime minister as i am very sure that they are not even aware of this injustice. I wonder what happened to the earlier rules of the railways when they allowed cancellation of a booking for a nominal charge. I would therefore be grateful if the indian railways and irctc amend the existing rules and have a provision incorporated into the railway reservation system to allow passengers who make a genuine mistake to cancel their tickets within say 24 hours of booking - provided that the cancellation is made well before the scheduled departure time of the train. A small amount of cancellation charges may still be charged.
              I would also appreciate if indian railways could consider my case to be with in reasonable justification and allow me a appropriate refund

                  I completed a transaction worth Rs.4257.25 on POS 2002 at IRCTC IN txn#[protected] on 17th April 2016.But after the amount was deducted from my account, i recieved no PNR no. and no ticket was booked. I request a refund of the amount deducted from my account.

                    i have tried for an AC 3 ticket in train 19421 tatkal, but during the transaction process, the tickets got over and they handed me waiting ticket.i have cancelled the ticket but still money haven't been refunded.

                    same day i have tried booking for sleeper ticket in the same train, after the transaction a message popped up showing " no seats available" and still they have take out the requisite amount from my account.It clearly shows till the time of taking money, the irctc works like a charm, but after getting money they started showing their indian train and just take up the money.if you think that taking money and refunding it after 3 to 4 days is good option then it is for those people who have it in like stash to spend it.

                    P.S. instead of showing twitter crap request, start amending some groundwork problems.

                      Me & wife, reserved tickets through irctc for a visit to garhwal and the tickets were booked for:
                      1.Mumbai central to h. Nizamuddin (1a)
                      2.Delhi rohilla to kotdwara (3a)
                      3.Dehradun to dehli rohilla (3a)
                      4.Ndls to mumbai central (3a)
                      We had also booked the dormitory at delhi rohilla both ways.
                      Last date of journey was 29.04.2016
                      For some reason, we had to cancel the whole trip and so we cancelled all the tickets on 14.04.2016. It may please be noted that the dormitory has no provision of cancellation.
                      For health reasons, we had to cancel the whole trip was cancelled and it was all the four journey tickets that were shown in the cancellation. Yet, the tickets that were cancelled were, 1mum-del, 2.Del-mum and the two dormitory bookings.
                      We have not received any refund so far but according to records the cancellation refund has not yet been made at all after 3 days of cancellation.

                        Mera nam sachin hai. Mai ahmedabad se tikit lekar nikala tha, but conform tikit hone per bhi mujhe general dabbe me traveling karna pada kyuki ajmer se train thi but ajamer se sari local bogi ko add kar diya gaya or general or birth dono ko mix kar diya. To mujhe refund milna chahiye.
                        Mera tikit ajamer se Muzaffarpur tak hai.indion railways ko mera refund karna chahiye or next time se aapani galti ko sudharna chahiye.

                            I have travelled in train 12974(Jaipur intercity) between 16 and 17th april 2016 from indore to jaipur. Tte (Boarded from kota and get down at jaipur) took amount rs. 400 from me as i am having only the general ticket and travelling in sleeper. He took the amount from me in kota. The amount 400 jst write down something on my general ticket he told me that i can continue my journey in sleeper class.

                            In all this mess i have wasted lot of my time and my peaceful journey has become mess. I would like to know and also log a complaint against tte.

                              12509 train left station before schedule time

                              My train ticket pnr number:[protected], I booked from Bangalore contonment station to Chennai central.
                              The scheduled arraival was 11:40pm at bangalore cantontment railway station and it arrived before time. Thereby, we missed our train as we were at the station at 11:38. Please consider my complaint and do the needful....

                              As i booked my train ticket through irctc website using my sbi debit card. .The ticket was in waiting list. And it gets cancelled automatically because i didn't travel in that train. The ticket was in waiting list only. Travelling date was 6.4.2016 .. Pnr no. [protected]. .But the amount was not yet refunded. . But i got msg from irctc as 'pl collect refund amount from agent ' . So do refund as soon as possible

                                  It is my humble request you to please look in to this issue,

                                  Every time when we book ticket from sur to ypr(Tatkal) that too on saturday we face unnecessary problems saying that payment gateway error, you are not allowed to book ticket, invalid session.Lot of these kinds error we get. I don't know someone will hack irctc and book all the tickets. Please please do something for the issue.

                                    Dear Sir, I was travelling from trivandrum to Nilambir road by Rajyrani express on15-April 2016.my luggage was stolen in between shornur and nilambur road which contains a lenovo laptop an mts netsetter a power bank and few of my dresses..the total value of the items will be almost 40000 . When I realised the theft, I looked for complaining it to the rpf officials and unfortunately there was none in the train and no rpf officials where available in the nilambir road railway station also.So I cant even file an fir.So what should I do now.it is really disappointing that there were no responsible security officers present in any of the reserved coaches.The security of passengers and luggage are less considered by indian railway.any one can run into a reserved coach and steal things and get away as things are like this.what shall we people do in such situation?is it like we should pay for sleeper coaches and stay awake for watching the luggages? The entry and exits should have to restricted to the reserved passenger and people with tickets only as in foreign countries.how long do indians have to wait for these I dont know

                                      I, Nikesh Ku Behera, wants to bring to your notice the fact that even after choosing for the option of book my ticket only if atleast one lower berth is allotted, my ticket was booked twice without allotting a lower berth. Even after cancellation of ticket no refund was made against it. even after registering a complaint in IRCTC they are yet to respond.
