I, Nikesh Ku Behera, wants to bring to your notice the fact that even after choosing for the option of book my ticket only if atleast one lower berth is allotted, my ticket was booked twice without allotting a lower berth. Even after cancellation of ticket no refund was made against it. even after registering a complaint in IRCTC they are yet to respond. Please look into the matter as soon as possible.Following are the details of the ticket.

    My parents has schedule to travel from Madhubani to Kolkata on April 14 by Train Number 13186. Before 3 hours of departure time of train from Madhubani, he got message that train is cancelled.He schedule to come and return back from Kolkata by same train.He was coming for very urgent work at Kolkata but becuse of sudden train cancellation, we are suffering from huge financial as well as many other problems.

    Please let me know the reason behind cancellation of 13185 and 13186 for one week.

    Also we suffer loss of more Rs 5000 for sudden cancellation, so how can i recover this money.

      Recently I had tried to book ticket on tatkal for BVI to BRC, . I had got my money 852 rs deducted from my account but didn't got booked ticket, .

      I had called on IRCTC care and they listen me carefully then cut the call, .

      I had tried a lot time to reach IRCTC but could not got possible by saying all customers executives are busy, .

      I am regular user of IRCTC and if you are treating peoples like this way then what is requirements o[censored]s with you.

        I am a registered user of IRCTC website and last year in the month of August I made several ticket bookings and subsequently cancelled some of them, but the refund was not taken place, whereas when I opened my IRCTC account it shows the refund was made. Nevertheless, I contacted the customer care of IRCTC and they asked me to send my credit card statement which I did promptly. Inspite of sending several times my credit card statements, every time they kept on asking for it. It went on like that and I sent more than 30-40 emails virtually begging them to pay my money. To my astonishement after sometime they stopped responding to my any of my mails. The IRCTC need to play almost Rs.7000/- as refund. I really don't know whom to contact and how to get justice in this case. Recently, I approached consumer court in Pondicherry, but they refused to take up my case by saying I have done online transaction hence it will not come under their jurisdiction. I am only writing this mail hoping that some where somebody will deliver justice to me. Thanks. I have with me all the correspondence that took place between me and the IRCTC customer care.

            Mismanagement of tatkal system
            Sir i tried to book tatkal ticket at 10 am (13/4/2016) for train no-12368. But on clicking at " book now ", i was shown a message -"no intermediate station found". I tried it again 4 times within a minute but the message continued (All details entered by me were correct). However, after a minute the message was not shown & i could navigate to next page. But by then it was ckwl.(Waiting list).

            Sir there is deliberate attempt to block so that genuine attempt can be denied. Please see that we as a consumer can exercise our rights.

                Hi,

                This is sandeep barsaiyan having compalined about irctc . The case is like i booked 4 tickets from raipur to gwalior for 3rd ac coach when we ready for travel i got sms from railway to information about train has been cancelled and the i required in 139 customer care they also informed the same that train cancelled then i just immediate search for alternative option and did my journey after many difficulties . Now when i am asking for my money amount refund back they are not answering and no one is picking call .
                I tried to connect them in 139, 138,[protected] numbers and also mailed them all pnr details and sms cancellation screen. But not getting yet any refund information.

                I am fed up with IRCTC reservation system…… Why some times they gives options for “Premium Tatkal ” and other times they “not release quota for Premium Tatkal”.
                Can you Justify this……
                With reference to Tatkal ticket in 12791 (SC-DNR) express for dated[protected]
                Before Coming Premium Tatkal in this train[protected] seats (Approximately) all tatkal
                After Premium Tatkal[protected][protected] (for normal tatkal) + 143 (Premium Tatkal)

                Now when you goes for booking, this shows…..Premium Tatkal ( NOT AVAILABLE )
                Why it shows like this …..where 143 SL seats gone for Premium Tatkal ?

                Now come to…..Tatkal ticket...
                Tatkal Quota….143 Seats (SL)
                When you go for booking…then within 30 secs. It shows waiting
                After going through payment option …..entering bank user ID password …..again submitting OTP (earlier it was direct payment)…..it use to cut “full money from account” and again it is going through half message WL/32 (message are like... weather you want to continue with waiting ticket)……..and also one again payment option gateway and till the time you understand what is happening ..its shows REGRET/CKWL 72 .
                Just this irctc railways people are cheating people by halting ticket more time on payment gateway and not releasing ticket till it gets REGRET. Why these people are not able to tell for remaining 143 sleeper seats quota for Premium Tatkal.? Is this kind of service you people are providing to other?

                    We are travelling from mumbai central to trivandrum central (train no.16331).we are totally unsatisfied with your service because lot of people entering to the coaches without reservation and they want out seats also.if we are not allowing to sit them, these people commanding, did we paid the money to you for giving a bad service like this??? We paid it for travelling securely.we booked the ticket last february 9th, S11-51, 53, 54, 56.
                    And also there are no charging point in coach. Do the needful.

                    IRCTC have deactivated my user id which is aims without information and without intimidation.The issue is I want to cancel a e-ticket, that I have booked, but since my user id is deactivated/deleted, I cannot do the same..

                    Please look into the matter, and help me solve the issue.
                    Irctc charged service charge on tickets book by irctc site.
                    but when we cancel the ticket, service charge which was deducted on ticket will not be refunded.
                    if there is no service by railway. why they are not refunding the service charged money.

                          I wanted to complain against IRCTC cancellation charges. They are nothing but a ripoff of customer money. I had booked an e-ticket for 4 passengers for 29th April which was in W/L status at the time of booking. Since the ticket had not moved i had to plan for alternatives i chose to cancel the ticket (was in W/L 79 thru 82). IRCTC deducted 60 rupees per passenger on a wait-listed ticket. I feel railways is using cancellation as a mode of earning money. Their cancellation policy on W/L tickets is vague (Policy states If your ticket is not confirmed and is under the status of RAC or Wait-listed ticket, no cancellation charges for railway tickets are applied Rather, clerk-age charges is deducted from the cost of the ticket and balance amount is refunded to the bank account / credit card account).

                          I don't understand what clerk-age is there on a e-ticket. where the cancellation is done by the customer

                            This is to inform you that the AC duct above seat number 51 and 52 in coach number C1 was defective and the area was freezing. We complained to the AC technician MR. Keshavan as well as the TTR. After repeated complaints, the technician stuck a paper over the leakage point with cello tape as a solution. When we asked the technician for the complaint book, he said that it is available with the TTR and did not give it to us.

                            We request you to seriously look into the matter and rectify the same.

                              Hi, I am Ramesh..I booked many tatkal tickets back in 2012 to 2015, may be i failed 2 or 3 times and most of the times it was successful,
                              but, I was wondering why Indian government removed "ID verification" for Tatkal members??
                              "Is this to increase the income of other persons"?
                              or any specific reason behind that??
                              If no ID is implemented many brokers can book the ticket and they can sell at higher prices and that is negative for the current government..
                              If government is for the people then reconsider the ID verification for tatkal tickets, so many people will get benefit.
                              If it is done by IRCTC., which is combination of Govt. and private then they should keep it public view for 6 months
                              and based on the views you can decide.
                              There is no public view for that, does that mean government is supporting the private guys individually ??
                              So can you reply for that??

                                I have sent several mails to [protected]@irctc.Co.In and tdr department but nothing getting different different excuses from them regarding the refund amount aginst pnr [protected].
                                Today i spoke irctc complain department and heard one more excuse that you have done tdr files against only one passenger but tdr done by [protected]@irctc.Co.In as i requested by mails because the server was down of irctc that time so i send a mail to them to do the tdr by 4.19pm on journey date and also clearly mentioned the reason for tdr file that passenger not travel due to not confirm 2nd ticket as u can check in trail mail for your reference.
                                I send a mail for tdr file to [protected]@irctc.Co.In and [protected]@irctc.Co.In by 4.19pm on[protected] and received acknowledge copy from [protected]@irctc.Co.In(Ticket id [irctc #2976805].)by 4.24pm on same day but etickets did the tdr late and now giving different different excuses when i call for feedback of my refund amount.
                                I request you take serious action against etickets and tdr depatment and ask to refund the amount asap.
                                Note-i took another tickets on[protected] for same passenger as pnr no-
                                [protected].- for you reference.

                                  Dear sir/madam, i had booked a ticket from et to ltt journey date 27march2016, but the train got late from more than 7 hours.I had filed the tdr on the same day at 27-mar-2016 22:06:02 hrs.The status of tdr showing cr repudiate.I was waiting for the train but the train got late so much so i have filled the tdr little late.Please help me on this asap.
