Irctc doing fraudulent activities, because by provision and rules of irctc before 48hrs of departure of scheduled time, cancellation charges for confirmed ticket to sleeper class is rs.60 per passenger, but that fraud irctc deducted rs.120/passenger to me. For to verify my details pnr no.[protected] and cancellation id is [protected]. I have cancelled my ticket on 25/05/2016 22:34:42 hrs but my departure date is 28/05/2016 22:20:00.

      I had booked my ticket through online from angamaly to calicut on as per the details given below.

      Date of journey : 17.05.2016
      Status at the time of booking: w/l
      Status after preparation of chart : not confirmed
      Amount charged : rs.102.90 (Including service charge of rs.22.90)
      Amount refunded : rs.20.00
      Ticket type : e-ticket

      It may be clarified on what basis rs. 20/- is refunded against the ticket charge of rs.80.00 of a wait listed ticket which was not confirmed after preparation of chart.
      Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation [IRCTC] customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
      This is unfair trade practice. Railways must refund entire amount including service charge and bank charge in case of waitlisted ticket not confirmed on chart preparation as well as when a train is cancelled.

      Taking this further, even interest becomes payable on the paid amount since most tickets are booked several days (or months) in advance of travel.

        I booked a ticket ([protected]) Transaction ID [protected] from CLT to TVC on[protected] and the status was CKWL.

        The amount deducted from my account was 792 Rs and ticket cost was 770 Rs., and the ticket didn't get confirmed after chart preparation, but i received a mail saying that 650 Rs.will be refunded. But nowhere in indian railway and irctc sites its mentioned that 120 Rs. will be deducted if ticket gets auto cancelled.
        120 Rs is deducted on base of what??? You are already taken service charge, and i didnt get any ticket. Still u are deducting 120 rupees for a ticket, is something like robbery !!!. People didn't except this from Indian railway and its subsidiary organization IRCTC

          I had booked my family railway ticket through irctc on 20.04.2016 vide pnr No.[protected]. There were rac during booking of raillway ticket.

          but now rac ticket is not confirmed till date.

          are there not cancelled of any railway tickets till date?

          why are you behave like this.
          public will not faith on irctc in future.

            On May 24, 2016, I tried to reserve a 2-AC ticket on train number 12685 Chennai-Mangalore Express through irctc.co.in website. Made payment via net banking but the transaction on IRCTC website shows as having failed. Checked with the bank who confirmed that the payment was made successfully

              I have travelled in train 12441 bsp-ndls rajdhani from bilaspur to new delhi on 23.05.16 with pnr no. [protected] in class 3a. I wanted to complain with regard to the following point:

              1. Evening snacks was not served until asked. It was said that i was sleeping and so my share was given away. After serving the snacks, some items were not given which had to be got after repeated requests.

              1. At dinner the paneer dish served was not properly stored so was rotten. When complained no notice was taken. Even after repeated request to replace the dish, was simply ignored.

              The catering is with doon's catering services. Kindly note the above complaints.

                I have called 5 times to IRCTC Delhi call center regarding Overcharges on my booked ticket like the fare on Indian Railway web & Erail web even on 139 its 1055/- per person but when i have booked the ticked i have seen they have charges 2010/- per person, after talking with care people they have given me excuse its some kind of dynamic charge, i have spoke with 5 person all have disconnected the call saying that transferring to senior officer, Still my question is same what is the meaning of Dynamic Fare & why they have not mentioned this on Indian Railway web & Erail web even on 139, when i have booked the ticket there was 550 available seats i understand that the Dynamic charge is applied when there is few or low availability for seat so how can they put any such charges & without informing or mentioning this info on there websites.

                I am totally disappointed with the service our IRCTC Customer Care they don't have any value of consumer we are just like some kind of Garbage or product just used for taking money in there account nothing else...

                with this quote i am attaching snapshot were any one can clearly see nothing mentioned related to dynamic fare on Indian Railway web & Erail web...

                Stil saying that this is not as per standard rule you are just taking double fare in the name of Dynamic fare where there is no shortage of seats at the time of booking...

                  I have booked a ticket for 5 passengers from bsb to ddn on 28 nov 2015, doj-29 nov 2015, pnr - [protected]. At 10.30 pm, i received a message as attached that chart is prepared, out of this 1 ticket was confirmed, 1 was rac and other 3 were wl. So after arranging other mode to travel, i logged in and tried to cancel the ticket, it did not allow to cancel, so i filed tdr for it at 12.47am, 29 nov 2015. The departure time of the train was 8.30 am in the morning on 29 nov 2015. So this means i filed the tdr almost around 7 hours before the actual time of departure. The reason mentioned is very clear in the screen shot from login account specifying 'passenger not travelled due to ticket in rac after chart preparation' along with date an and time.
                  Now when i tried to follow up with irctc they said please wait for 90 days. Now its more than 5 months, but the status of that tdr was 'cr registered' only.
                  When i tweeted on twitter on 17 may 2016, the they changed the status to cr repudiated.
                  The most interesting part is when i cross checked the status of my pnr on website suggested by one of my friend i found the status as attached in 3rd screen shot attached.
                  The refund claim reason mentioned here is 'train running late by more than 3 hours... ' and the repudiation reason is mentioned as 'train was not running late and tdr not filed within right time slot...' which is absolutely wrong as it can be verified by the details i have provided from my login account.
                  Now who will tell me the exact reason why my request has been rejected??
                  I want genuine reason and since i have done everything as per process i am absolutely eligible for it. And by manipulating the reason mentioned by me and then rejecting my request itself shows that there is flaw in the irctc system. All the time i followed up i have this many ticket ids - irctc 2653180, 2822255, [protected], 3393091, 2591695 etc

                      While booking tatkal ticket from koderma to lucknow in the train no. 13151 when i was about to make payment through internet banking, the screen showed 'insufficient merchant information' and reservation is denied. When i again login to irctc it said you have already logged in and if you continue previous one will be cancelled. There is no option but to continue login and then all 178 seats in 13151 booked and i have done reservation in gangasutlej train.

                        On 22nd may i booked a ticket in deccan queen express from mumbai to pune scheduled to leave at 5.10pm. But the train timings were delayed by almost 2 hours and when i tried to ask the reason for delay there was no clear response from the railway authorities in mumbai cst station and some were just ignoring to reply our answers. The railway authorities were very arrogant.

                            It has been more than 110 days since i filed tdr for my pnr number [protected]. The cancellation id provided by them is [protected]. The reason for tdr: train late more than three hours and passenger not travelled. Still it is showing 'cr registered'. I already contact the email provided (Care @irctc.Co.In and so on) and also called on their numbers but no one is picking up the phone... Plzzz help me to get my refund back. I have enclosed the screenshot.

                              My PNR [protected]

                              The 3AC coach B-1 in the train 12626 in my travel from NGP to Tiruppur on 22.05.2016 (date of boarding from NGP) the A/C was not working. The other passengers told me that they had already pulled the chain when their same complaint was not resolved right from beginning. I have also made written complaint at the Vijaywada Railway station. But the complaint was not resolved. The condition of the Bogie was too worst.

                              There was no liquid soap in the bathroom. At Vijaywada I asked the TC to inform about the same to the concern. But till i got down the liquid soap was not filled in the container.

                              The pantry boy who gave tea and coffee took Rs.2 extra from several passengers including me. He was insisting us to accept a biscuit pack in exchange of the change. when we refused he asked us to bring and return the change but he did not return.

                              The tea n coffee were as like black tea or coffee without there being sufficient quantity of milk in it. only after being asked twice the pantry boy use to fill the cup up to the mark. That is, the quality and the quantity of the coffee and tea were very poor quantity and of less quantity.

                              I then personally went to the Pantry car manager namely "Sony". I asked him to provide the complainant book. But he too did not provide the same to me.
                              I also asked the TC to provide me the complainant book but he too was avoiding.

                              So also, there was no water in lavatory or the basin in the coach B-1. Inspite of repeated oral complaints nobody responded. When the complaint was again made to the TC at B/1 at Katpadi he behaved rudely. His behavior with the other passengers was also not proper. They should be apprised that they are the public servant at the service of public and not the crown.

                              It is seen that every body was reluctant to give the complaint book, the reason best known to them. If in such manner the rail department will behave I am doubt full that there will be acche din at any time.

                              I request u to kindly register my complaint and inquary in this regard and do the need full.

                                We have booked 22 seats for sleeper class with following details.

                                Coach number s12
                                From sambalpur to yesvantpur
                                Date of journey 20/05/2016

                                Complaints:
                                1. Seats occupied by general compartment passengers/those who have not booked
                                2. Minimum 50 extra passengers standing in the coach caused very inconvenience even to use toilets
                                3. Many time requested three ttes to clear those extra passengers but did not got any solutions.
                                4. Overall it's like general compartment.
                                5. Toilets whew very dirty. Exactly opposite to swachh bharat scheme and theme

                                  Today i. E. On 21 may 2016 i was waiting in ladies waiting room for my train name triveni express no 24369 from lucknow to bareilly.
                                  Due to 2 hrs late of my train i was just lying on seat and suddenly one lady ttewill come and scold me that why are u lying down better you sit, i was lying down as i am too tired. When everybody overthere was also lying down i am not the only now who is lying. I have asked her if that's so then ask from everybody then she replied i am asking you to move from here that's it then i have asked why i should move when there is many space to lie down then why you asking from me only then she started shouting on me very badly
                                  I have said her how are you speaking me like that she said why what u will do then she gave me threat now see what i can do now u just wait n watch and she called attendant who use to sit outside the ladies waiting room that y the hell this girl lying down so attendant said yes u can't then i have asked her the rules should be same for all everyone is lying down then no matters to her why.
                                  So i want to complaint even ask you is there any sort of rules and regulation is there if yes then y it's not mentioned on papers or y not pasted on walls so that each n everyone should know what are do's n donts so that passenger should not be torcherd like this today that i was done

                                    I am safna azeez, this mail is to bring your notice to the issue that i am unable to make payment through my irctc account (Safnazeez).
                                    After i schedule my journey and proceed to pay, and i click the payment through axis bank gateway, i am redirected to a page showing "please try again later". Please reslove this issue asap.

                                    The next issue is that, i haven't got my refund amount credited to my account after my cancellation. But the refund history in my account shows refunded. Please refund asap

                                      This is in reference to tdr request for refund against pnr number [protected] for reason "party could not cancel because chart prepared at originating or previous remote location", with reference no :[protected] filed on 1st jan 2016. From the last 5 months, the tdr history was showing cr registered against this tdr and nothing was done. Recently when i again checked the status, much to my surprise, the tdr history data is not showing this entry. I have not been intimated about this tdr ever since i have filed the tdr. I have just received 2 auto generated mails on my email id "[protected]@yahoo.Co.In" dated 1st jan 2016 and 8th jan 2016 saying that your tdr request has been forwarded to the chief commercial manager/refunds null to process refund through enhanced coaching refund system of indian railways (Ecrs) under the present commercial rules. Can you please let me know what is taking too long to process a simple tdr request? Is the railway waiting for the passengers to forget about their tdr request by removing it from tdr history and then banking on their hard earned money? Please look into the matter asap.
