On 08.06.2015, I have booked two coaches under FTR and paid security deposit of Rs.1/- lac to Railway. Subsequently, due to certain conditions of the Railway, on 05.07.2015 through e mail I have requested for cancellation of coach booking which was followed by a registered letter dated 08.07.2015. Further email reminders viz. 15.08.15, 06.09.15, 05.10.15 etc. and registered reminder dated 06.10.15 were send. Concern Railway department neither responding to my any mail nor refunding the money. More than a considerable time has already been lapsed, but till now I have not received the refund amount of Rs.1/- lacs. The Chief Claim Officer, HQ, Mumbai vide their letter CRFC/3055083/07/15-16 dated 14.10.15 (pay order No.333927 dt. 14.10.15) informed IRCTC and Commercial Officer, Refund Section, Ajmer to refund the security deposit. The same has not been received till date.
As more than six months have already been lapsed, I request your good office please look into the matter and arrange for an immediate refund of money from Western Railway, Ajmer. Undue delay in the matter is causing corruption angle in the matter.
