This is Rajendra. We have booked train tickets from Chirala to Bangalore for 5 people. We are suppose to travel with my 3 months old baby. The actual time of arrival is 6pm at Chirala. It is informed that train will be delayed 90 minutes. So we were waiting at railway station. Later it is changed to 120 minutes, 180 minutes, 240 minutes, 300 minutes like that. It is keep on increasing the delay time. As we are waiting with our baby, we felt that it is not good to wait so long and went back home as it is mentioned 6 hours by that time. Even from home, we were checking for the train. But still it is mentioned that delay will be more than 7 hours. We finally decided not to travel. I have filed TDR for this ticket. When I am filing TDR, I heard that the refund will come after 3 months. But we didn't get the amount even by today, as it is nearly 7 months by now. Whom to contact regarding this also, no clear information on irctc. How can approach them and how will I get my ticket money. As it is mistake of IRCTC, I am suppose to get the money within no time. My cousine got his TDR amount within a month time. In his case, the reason is personal. In my case, the reason is due to IRCTC. Why I did not receive my money till date, I have no idea and literally confused.
