Had my reservation in Train# 11104/BDTS JHANSI EXP ) dated 24-Dec-2014 from BDTS To Ratlam . But the train was 9 hours late & i filed a TDR with category" train late more than 3 hours" But i Have not received refund yet. Inspite of my mails & regular follow. We are not getting reply & not even irctc is taking necessary action. Same had happened earlier also but this can't happen every time. I need my money back.             I cancelled 2 tickets - one was a ticket for second seating and the other was for 2nd Sleeper. IRCTC deducted charges of Rs. 60 and Rs.120 instead of Rs, 30 in each case. The canellation IDs are [protected] (PNR [protected]; Date of Journey 2nd Jan 2016; Cancellateion Date 31st Dec) and [protected] (PNR [protected] Date of Journey 7th Jan 2016; Cancellateion Date 31st Dec).

              I traveled with my 70 year old grandmother in the train 16860 on 03/01/2015. It was a Tatkal booking.PNR: [protected]. We were allotted the seats S9 9, S9 12. We traveled from Kodumudi (KMD) to Chennai Egmore (MS). We boarded the train around 7.30 PM in KMD station but the actual arrival time is 6.45 PM. As soon as we entered the train, we do not have space to even stand in our compartment. Around 12 people were sitting in the compartment where our seats were allocated. After a very long conversation, we got seats to sit among those 12 people. Except 2 in that 12 member crowd, other 10 members were not a perfect ticket holders. The hold an open ticket to Trichi(TPJ) either from Coimbatore (CBE JN) or Erode (ED). I was waiting for the TTR to come to make our berth free so that my grandmother can rest for some time. But that did not happen till we crossed Karur (KRR) around 8.30 PM. There was a fight between a couple who had confirmed berths and the open ticket holders in Karur Junction for more than 15 minutes where a lady (she was with her family of around 6 members. She do not hold a confirmed ticket) mentioned she is a Railway Employee she can do what ever she wish and some indecent words and threatened the couple. The worst conversations happened. I wondered whether we have any RPF or TTR allocated to this train! None came. Is there any point in Indian law stated like, Police and TTR should help only Government employees? If so, please mention in the response to this complaint. Finally a SQUAD came after crossing Karur. He was just verifying whether all the passengers had tickets. That's it. It was like an unreserved coach. He came with an RPF for his safety I guess. When I enquired him why many people who do not have a confirmed ticket, travel in reserved coaches and we, the people who have confirmed tickets are not even able to sit properly. The response from the SQUAD was amazing. He mentioned like, this is the first time he is seeing an issue like this. Also, the train is intended for sitting till Trichi (TPJ) and only after Trichi(TPJ) it is a sleeper. Even if it is intended for sitting, is that allowed for people who take open tickets? Also the squad mentioned like passengers should solve their own problem like issues in seats and all, they should not depend on TTR/SQUAD or RPF. I am confused then whats the role of TTR/SQUAD or RPF. Just a free journey in AC coaches? - There is an exception for this. There are many TTR / RPF who are perfect in their work. Finally we reached Trichi(TPJ) around 10 PM and all those who owned an open ticket reached their destination. And the people who had confirmed berths just got to sleep. Now TTR came after 10.30 PM. I do not remember the actual time when he came. He checked the details and left. My questions: 1. If there is no sleeper facility available till Trichi (TPJ), why Indian Railways allows Tatkal tickets/confirmed berth tickets from the stations before Trichi (TPJ) station? I was able to book Tatkal tickets from KMD to MS. I wonder why they allow the open ticket holders in the sleeper coach even if the berths are booked in that particular coach. Is it a new way of making money to the Government or to the TTR? Its completely cheating the public who try very hard to book a confirmed berth in any train in Tatkal. 2. I boarded the train around 7.30 PM and TTR came around 10.30PM. So it that like anyone can travel in those coaches till Trichi (TPJ). This is not happening for the first time. I travel often in the same train. TTR will always come after Trichi (TPJ). If it is the case, why should I spend my money for Tatkal booking from my own place. I can book from Trichi (TPJ) to Chennai Egmore (MS) and till Trichi (TPJ) I can have an open ticket and travel? Can Southern Railways accept this? I am not the only victim of this situation. There are around 216 passengers in the 3 coaches S8, S9 and S10. Will we be getting any solution for this issue or will it be only in mails? Expecting your faster valuable response with a permanent solution for this. Thank You!

                I recently booked a ticket for a train from Yesvantpur to Bikaner(Train no: 16587) and wanted to board from Pune. The tatkal system is so stringent that you cannot miss a single second; to my bad when the window opened at 10am on 2nd Jan 2016 for the train which will arrive Pune 5:00am on 4th Jan 2016 and start from Yesvantpur on 3rd Jan 2016 5:00am. I missed to change the boarding from Yesvantpur to Pune. I tried all possible options to visit the Pune station the e-center officer(mostly closed on Saturday) Requesting the chief of railway/Tickets in Pune nothing worked as the timelines to change any boarding is 24hrs in advance before the train moves. I even tried sending one of my friend to Yesvantpur station and talk with the Ticket incharge but no one accepted our request. The catch is if i book a ticket on 2nd Jan 2016 at 10am. practically i will never have 24hrs in hand even before or after my booking of tatkal ticket. There is no medium to handle this practical scenario and all IRCTC policies comes to stand still. I had a loss of Rs.7500 in this event which i can manage but kindly think of people who have major issues and loss of this huge amount.

                    Hello, I had booked a e-ticket vide PNR Number [protected] and the train was delayed by around 6-8 hours. I immediately files a TDR and as per rules I should get 100% refund when train is delayed by more than 3 hours. However, I was only granted 50% refund. I see many many people are facing same issue. This amounts to gross cheating by Indian Railways. Request authorities to look into this. It seems like a large scale fraud happening in the Railways. The rule clearly states this: "In case train is running late more than 3 hrs and Passenger has not travelled- full fare will be refunded" PNR Number [protected] TDR Reference No for this is :[protected] Pls help. It's our hard earned money.

                          I have missed my train with confirmed ticket ( PNR no. [protected]) for which I had filed a TDR with option 'Passenger not travelled'. I got an email stating that claim is reject and refund not possible. I further, explained that I have missed my train as the connecting train(PNR no.[protected]) was late. Hence, ' Passenger not travelled' . As the connecting train got missed and passenger could not travel with not fault of his and entirely dur to delay in connecting train that is due to railways itself. My claim for refund is genuine and my TDR against must be accepted.

                              Dear sir, i have tried to book two ticket in sleeper class to chennai in tatkal quota but i didnot get confirm ticket so ticket is not booked but the money is deducted on 23 dec 2015.                               I filed TDR for my e ticket having details PNR No [protected] TDR Filing Date: 25-Nov-2015 21:26:27 HRS Cancellation ID: [protected] but in spite of repeated requests and reminders no refund till now, there seems that Mr Suresh Prabhu hired some people to praise Indian railway but actual situation of Indian rail is very grim and people are being cheated by various ways, cancellation charges are increased, cancellation refund time is decreased, platform ticket is doubled the cost so this new government is minting money from passengers, and some paid peoples are tweeting in favor of Suresh Prabhu to divert attention of people from real issues.
