Hi, I am R Srinivas working as a Software Engineer in one of the Top most MNC. wants to complaint about the irctc website as i am a frequent traveller and i use the mode as irctc to book the tickets but every time when i try to use the tatkal facility i feel really bad that i was not able to book the ticket. though i am using a high speed internet and a high end machine along with that i will sit half an hour before the booking . but i will end with end with then following things : i.) Service to this site is temporarily suspended ii) or it will reach up the gateway and the it will show the timeout message these things really annoys me any one. because we are spending lot of time for this process and ends with a dissatisfactory output. so i urge to do something in this regard. regards R Srinivas

    IRCTC Tatkal Booking Error "This site is currently unreachable. Please try after some time" Everyday you get this error. If you are not capable of doing a job even for years. Then yu are not fit for it. Give it to better people and you take up some dump jobs which yu are capable of.

    it really eats the time. as there is no other alternative these guys are playing games.

      Getting Fake train cancellation message from irctc

      I had a ticket booked in SDAH DURONTO EXP(train No-12260) for 29.05.15.Just a day before my journey I got message from IRCTC that "Train No.12260 boarding at NDLS dated 29-MAY-15 is cancelled by Railways.Pl Cancel your PNR No. [protected] online to get refund as per Railway Rules"....

      I travelled with my son ( 2 passengers) from VSKP to SC in Train No.12727 on 14.05.15 with PNR No. [protected] by paying Rs.1, 010/-. When I requested TC in MMTS train for extension of journey from SC to SKP by showing my already performed journey ticket, he charged Rs.520/- for 2 members and issued me an EXCESS FARE TICKET No. V 0208009. It appears, the TC in MMTS train charged Extra.. It is requested to kindly clarify me whether the fare charged by TC is appropriate or not. I have made a complaint vide Ref No.W/EO/WAT/[protected] dt. 21 May 15. When I tried to track the STATUS, it is showing "NO COMPLAINT FOUND".

        I booked a ticket in train number 12260 dated[protected] on 02.04.2015. my pnr status [protected]. Yesterday (28.05.2015)around 8pm I received a message from IRCTC on my vodafone no. [protected] that the train has been cancelled and so I should cancel my ticket. After cancelling my confirmed ticket I shocked to find that an amount of Rs.1030 was deducted. I called the IRCTC helpline. And after that they just casually said that because of a mistake the message was sent and the train hasn't been cancelled. It was really shocking for me to hear that as it is very urgent for me to reach home as so I had preplanned this journey 2 months ago. I am really feeling helpless at this time because of no positive response from IRCTC. The customer care executive told me I should check before cancelling the ticket if it was so urgent. I replied that I tried several times but network failure was shown. He just told me as I have cancelled the ticket, nothing can be done. he did not promise total refund of Rs. 4070 instead of Rs. 3040. I want my ticket so that I can go home. If they are failed to revive my PNR No. [protected] for today's ( 29.05.2015) journey, they must give compensation along with full refund as for their faulty sms, I am suffering. Now it will be very costly to book another ticket for new Delhi to Kolkata journey. the cancelled ticket is attached herewith.

          booked a ticket of 29.05.2015 in train number 22406 on 30.03.2015. Today around 8pm I received a message from IRCTC that the my train has been cancelled and so I should cancel my ticket. After cancelling the ticket when an amount of Rs.220 was deducted I called the IRCTC helpline. And after that they just casually said that because of a mistake the message was sent and the train hasn't been cancelled. It was really shocking for me to hear that as it is very urgent for me to reach home as so I had pre planned this journey 2 months ago. I am really feeling helpless at this time because of no positive response from IRCTC. I want my ticket so I can go home.Adding proof with this.

            I booked a ticket of 30.05.2015 in train number 12570 on 31.03.2015. Today around 8pm I received a message from IRCTC that the train has been cancelled and so I should cancel my ticket. After cancelling the ticket when an ammount of Rs.250 was deducted I called the IRCTC helpline. And after that they just casually said that because of a mistake the message was sent and the train hasn't been cancelled. It was really shocking for me to hear that as it is very urgent for me to reach home as so I had preplanned this journey 2 months ago. I am really feeling helpless at this time because of no positive response from IRCTC. I want my ticket so I can go home.Adding proof with this.

              i have booked my ticket in train no. 12953 travelling on 30/5/15 from mumbai to NZM . i received the sms on my mobile cancellation of dated train & to cancel the confirm tkt at 8.01 pm, train is cancelled by railway.                 cant book tatkal ticket through net, but agent can able to arange ticket with higher amount. exactly 10.00am sharp their block the website, by this common people unable to book tatkal ticket. please do strict action against irctc head management and their employee. All are corrupted...i try to booked ticket more then 10 times in 10days, i also went to a railways station at 5.00am but nothing happen.

                  same error i am getting from several days and when today i was at railway reservation counter for tatkal booking from midnight to get the tickets the result was nill I didn't get the reservation today also, and the staff is rude like i ask them to pay for my tickets, , i am not able to contact any higher authority as the whole system is corrupted.as soon as possible fix the error.

                    In the ticket with PNR number "[protected]", one passenger ticket status is CKWL. The journey date of ticket is 30th Apr, 2015. But we did not receive refund amount of CKWL ticket. So please look into the issue and initiate refund as soon as possible.

                        I had cancelled a ticket with below mention details. Please complete the refund process ASAP as its been almost 15 days and i haven, t got the refund. I did get a message that "your refund amount will be credited in your bank soon" .                           Hi, Its Lokesh from chennai, I like to register my complaint about the server down in IRCTC website. i travel to karaikudi form chennai occasionally and my family members to we usually book through tatkal 1 or 2 tickets because normally tickets always will be in waiting list. For past few months the server was good and we able to login 10 AM and we get the tickets. But Now for last Few week its been difficult to login in server and if we login also after selecting train, passenger details etc, etc, etc when we try to pay it shows server busy. Then Money will taken but transaction get fails. again if we check for tickets it will be in Waiting list . Why this, previously it happen in week end but now it happen in week days also. Its totally slow slow slow... Please help on this. Now also i tried to take screen shot but i cant login... my network speed is 2 mbs then too i cant login.

                            I had booked train ticket two months in advance for my travel. Before my travel date, while i am trying to search for booked ticket, its not found in my transaction history due to IRCTC had migrated their service to new generation service portal. Keep on searching the tickets its not found, other tickets booked in new generation portal only shown. Dont know, what i have to do. Irctc care, not assisting me to view and cancel, care is asking you want to cancel that PNR or not? Also, i lost 950 Rs/- for to and fro travel, because of not able to view the tickets and cancel the same last month.

STAFF ATTENDED CALL ON TOLL FREE NO [protected] AT 1245H ON 19 MAY 15 NEITHER GIVEN COMPLAINT NO NOR TAKE ANY ACTION TILL DATE AFTER CALLING AGAIN AGAIN. 4. FOOD QUALITY CHECK NOT CARRIED OUT ON THE SPOT. request provide menu chart of irctc food provided in train in every coach as caters are not clear on the same when asked by any passengers.

                                  I am onlinely booking from QLN to KTU on 10.05.2015. My PNR number is [protected] and [protected] and cancellation id number is [protected] and [protected] respectively. TDR filing is on 10.05.2015 at 6.14 AM and 6.18 AM and the status of TDR is CR Registered. On the journey day, the ERNAD EXPRESS is not touching the destination and boarding station. So I humbly request to refund the amount. If you are not done, I will constrained to move Consumer Redressel Forum

                                    Again TATKAL booking through Online is a big question mark. Is IRCTC purposely doing this or is this a system fault. Whatever it may be, I am going to file a RTI to find out how many TATKAL tickets are booked by individuals through Online in the past one month and how many are booked by Agents. I feel, IRCTC is doing this for getting business to Agents. Either some error message is flashed or it states not reachable. Hope the concerned authorities will look into this issue and solve it on priority.
