Hi, I tried booking ticket for Pune to Nagpur on date 26-May-2015, travelling date 27-May-2015. On first attempt I got failed transaction . Below is the failed Transaction details: 1 [protected] PUNE NGP 27-May-2015 Not Booked 4264.94 26-May-2015 Payment Settled FAILED This amount is not refunded. On second attempt, one more transaction is done and ticket came in waiting list, which is not get confirmed and tatkal-wl auto cancel amount is refunded. But the above failed statement is not refunded.     Sir, I booked three tickets with PNR No. [protected] through IRCTC for travelling on 30th May, 2015 from NDLS by the NANDAN KANAN Express, Train no 12816. But I received a message from the IRCTC on 28 May that the train was cancelled and I was requested to cancel my PNR No. [protected] to get refund as per Railway Rules. Therefore I in compliance with the message cancelled the aforesaid PNR to get the amount refunded. Surprisingly, the full amount of my tickets was not refunded in spite of it being Railway’s fault. My wonders knew no bound when I came to know after cancellation of my PNR that the train was not cancelled on 30 May at all and it departed the NDLS as per schedule. I had an urgent appointment. My first question is why levy was charged on my ticket value as the train was cancelled by the Rly. Secondly, why I was not informed if the train was rescheduled giving me an opportunity to re-book my tickets. Thirdly, how will my loss be compensated not only for the levy on my ticket value but also other pecuniary loses and unnecessary harassment as a result of cancellation of the tickets? Last but not the least who are behind such irresponsibility? The authority should look into the matter and adopt necessary action. I Look forward to your immediate reply.

      Good Day, Myself Sumeet Misra, i had booked a ticket for my Grand mother (age-72) Mrs Shail Shukla and my younger brother (age-12) Vansh Shukla, Pnr No. [protected] from Train No. 11103 from Jhansi to Bandra terminus dt 01-June-15. It was a waitlist ticket which got confirmed and hence we did not had seat no. and coach which was to be displayed on chart. Scheduled departure time for train is 16:50 but the chart was not prepared until 17:05, my grandmother is too old to run within the train with luggage and look for her seats, my younger brother is also too young for that. I am NRI and i was trying to follow up things from here in Amsterdam. I consider this as the negligence on part of railway staff as their was no announcement regarding his delay. I am writing this mail to ensure that these things are not repeated as this may cause serious problems to passengers especially old aged / physically challenged passengers. my email id is [protected]@gmail.com .         Respected sir, I am a passenger of Duronto exress secundrabad to NIZAMMUDDIN on 31st may. I had paid for bed roll but didn't get in train..after complaining they said they will give in 5 min bt didn't came back..I asked to the food service person to call bt they didn't. Regarding water, , in this host summer when people are dying at least normal water should be provided but water was too hot. 12rs bottle water you irctc sell it in 18 20rs after cooling but in this service you can't provide atleast normal water.. at night I was not given water after complaint they said that they had given might be someone had taken it. As I was asleep he could have wake me up n give me. After that he said he will give soon but hour passed and he didn't give it. I was dying of thirst luckily train stopped at one station at night around 9:15 then I went out and bought. is this the service you provide in duronto? If you take extra charge for catering then you should provide service too. Also don't you pay the workers out there who asks for money as soon as destination comes. If you give 20rs then they say what kind of person we r giving less than 50.

          I booked 2 tickets for above mentioned train in 3AC, through IRCTC after booking i got 2 tickets costing 5325/-, though when i found the fare amount little higher then usual, i checked the fare on Northern railways site and i found fare amount for 3AC 915/-per person, and later on speaking with IRCTC executive i came to know that these fare are variable and to tell a particular amount for these premium trains is not possible, it can be even 5 time of the train charges displayed in site... It is something alike killing a layman with your over charging and not at all acceptable... I just request you people to resolve this because a person like me 5000 rs is not at all an small amount. If any solution comes out and i can get my amount back in any which ways so request you to send the updated status on my mail ID anjaly.[protected]@tajhotels.com

            Dear Sir, I traveled from Kochi to Chennai on 31st may 2015 in Chennai express (train no: 22640). My berth was is in S11 coach (seat no: 15) which is a side lower. It was a sleepless night due the un leveled seats. The latch attached to the seat was also broken. Herewith attached a picture for better clarity. This caused me a severe back pain which hurts even now in office. I felt an RAC could have been much better and the purpose of getting a confirmed berth was pointless. It was the same issue while traveling from chennai to Kochi on 28th may 2015, but I didn't take a picture. I kindly request to look this issues seriously as it cannot be ignored and give me a justification for the money I paid. herewith attached the ticket.               Sir, Through IRCTC i have reserved two tickets with PNR no.[protected] for traveling on 28 april 2015.since i got confirmation for one ticket i filled TDR on 27 th for both ticket with transaction id [protected] with cancellation id [protected].i have complaint several times through mail several times no reply from railway side.Kindly refund the eligible amount at the earliest or give the exact statuts of the file at tha earliest

                Hi, From past few weeks, I am facing this issue while booking with tatkaal. Before that I used to book tickets with ease. Now while booking, between 10:00 and 10:05, the site says "current unreachable". The customer care tells us to clear all caches, etc. Those are all bad excuses. I always open the site in Incognito mode, so there is no role of cache. There can be two reasons 1) This is done purposefully under the influence of agents and brokers. The online booking is all blocked so that the agents can cash in on Rs 500/- to 1000/ per head. OR 2) The software used for this website is pathetic, so as the software company who built this. Please hand the software to some good company who build sites like Flipkart etc. Please take action. Traveling from place to other is becoming increasing difficult and next to impossible for common man, even in Sleeper category. Thanks

                  Dear Sir i have booked a ticket from IRCTC on 7 MAY'15 for 30 MAY'15, NANDAN KANAN Express, Train no 12816. On 28 May i got message from IRCTC that the train has been cancelled by Railways and i have to cancel my PNR to get the amount refunded. On 30 May when i checked with others, i was surprised to know that the train was not actually cancelled and even i have not received the full amount. I just want to know why the full amount was not refunded as it was not my fault, it was railways fault and why the IRCTC has sent the wrong message regarding the cancellation of the above said train.                     It has become almost impossible to book tatkal ticket through IRCTC web site. I have heard from various sources that agents are charging commission for providing tatkal ticket. The site shows the availability of tickets in tatkal at 10:00 AM, but i am not able to book it even after having very good internet speed.

                      Om Sri Sai Ram Sai Ram everyone, I am one of the devotee of Sri Sathya Sai Baba. I would like to request everyone on a particular issue. On God's Grace I hope everyone hearing my request will come forward on this. In Sri Sathya Sai Prasanthi Nilayam Railway Station, every train has very less halting. Because of this many old people and patients cannot catch the train. It would be very difficult for them. Since it is a holy place, there are lakhs of people visiting here. So Kindly requesting the Railways Department to make all the trains passing via Sri Sathya Sai Prasanthi Nilayam to halt for 10 to 15 minutes. I request and hope all the sai devotees to come forward on this issue. Thank you. Sai Ram..

From DLI to JAT on 31/05/2015 . booked tatkal ticket through online but TTR asked to deboard the train and he said my name was not in the list, as i said i booked the ticket in tatkal through online and i have enclosed the copy of the same with this . So i need to be paid for this and my train fare must be refunded. If not taken further action i will go legally

                            My Name is Harsh Srivastava, I have been using IRCTC for booking of tickets for quite a long time and my user id is srivicky01. After coming of Shri Modi Ji as Prime Minister, the IRCTC service was upgraded to a high speed system and I really appreciate the steps taken by Ministry of Railways for providing facilities to the IRCTC users that they became able to book tickets online by using IRCTC ID and that led to uprooting of brokers and agents who showed fear to general public of non-booking of tickets in TATKAL because of the slowest speed of IRCTC system. It is really unfortunate to inform/complain you that the IRCTC system has again become friendly to those agents/brokers as for last one month, most of the IRCTC users including Me, have faced a problem i.e. whenever I tried to book ticket in TATKAL, it showed a message that "the site is currently unreachable, try after some time" exactly at 10:00 a.m. If this be a situation, that the site is unresponsive exactly at 10:00 a.m. till 10:15 or 10:20 a.m. and in the meantime the TATKAL quota of tickets gets full, this appears that Railways is trying to mechanize IRCTC such a way that gives agents/brokers to mint money by booking TATKAL for others as they charge Rs. 500/- to 1000/- extra for one passenger ticket. Keeping in view the problem faced by the general public and even mine, I request IRCTC and Ministry of Railways that IRCTC facilities is needed by general public, and kindly dont make it privilege facility for agents/brokers. Hope u take immediate action in public interest Regards Harsh Srivastava.

                              Yes, I am also facing same problem. I was login to online irctc site 9:55am.. it is working fine. and when clock turned to 10:00AM getting error : This site is currently unreachable. Please try after some time! . After 5 mins page is up and train status went to CWL/WLxx . Most of time this is happening ...I think purposely some one doing or hacking this site. Authorise person should look into it and take right action . Thanks

                                To whomsoever it may concern, We book tatkal tickets because you assure us tickets once they are booked online through IRCTC. But I have experienced the ridiculous situation of not getting a ticket even if the ticket amount is debited from my bank account. After all your booking formalities are completed it shows "Session time out! Please log in again!" or something like that. How come money is deducted and session gets timed out? Of course you refund the amount later, but all other tickets would have gone into waiting list by the time I re-login (Thanks to IRCTC). I wish to comment on one more aspect of your booking system. How many alpha-numeric characters do you need to confuse the robots (whom you think are your targets of getting confused)? The pathetic style in which the characters and displayed are more than enough to confuse any robot, and striking it makes even normal human beings who are your stupid customers(including myself) confused and tensed during the hurry-burry process of tatkal booking . Please do whatever you can as soon as possible so that none of your customers experiences these kind of troubles in future. Thanks!

                                  myself pratik shingru and my mother were travelling from mumbai cst to akola on 30th may by train no.02019 cstm nagpur premium express in 2tier ac compartment on seat no28 and30. as it was the premium train we were supposed to get lunch in morning. as the train was late it was around 12pm in the afternoon. i was operated for a major shoulder injury while travelling and was not in a condition to talk a lot. and the pantryboys were very arrogant and they were not even paying any heed to us.we have asked the boys several time about the food and we were also telling them that we were going to get down at the next stop and they were annoying us. and even after telling so much we didnt get the food while travelling. so i wanna complain about the pantry boys, manager and request you to take appropriate action against them. and i request you to pay me back the expenses for food for both o[censored]s.

                                      It has become a usual problem with IRCTC. Tatkal booking has become impossible for the common man. Looks like things are deliberately made tough and problematic for non-agents. 1) The available tickets for 2AC is just 10 or max 15. Can you imagine the situation when thousands of people trying to go for that? No one knows where the remaining seats are allocated? 2) Most of the time getting to the "Book Now" link is the biggest challenge. The site loads very slow and once it loads the available tickets are gone in a jiffy. 3) If we are lucky and manage to get the page loaded to click on the coach, the site throws an error "Site unreachable" or "Service to the site is unavailable". 4) The situation is almost same for non-tatkal tickets too. Most of the time the tickets are in waiting list. But when we manage to get confirmed confirmed tickets at the last minute and we travel, the coaches are literally empty. It looks like the IRCTC officials are working hand in glove with the agents in creating this mess. There is high level of corruption in IRCTC. We need some resolution fast.

                                        We would like to complain about the non responsiveness of tatkal booking through IRCTC in almost everyday. The website used to be fine and accessible 1month ago. But from last 1month its been seen to be non reachable and non responsive on daily basis. Being a frequent traveller, we are loosing the opportunity to confirm tatkal booking and reserve berth/seat and ultimately change in travel plan which becomes tremendous troublesome.

                                        It has become impossible for a non-agent to book Tatkal tickets online. I could never book a single Tatkal ticket online (Especially AC tickets) on my last 20 - 25 attempts. I am using a 3G internet connection. So I am sure that it is not happening due to slow bandwidth. The following things happen when I try to book a tatkal ticket online at 10 am.
                                        1) The Login Captcha becomes more tough from 10 am to 11 am.
                                        2) It takes about 3 - 5 minutes to load a new page. Sometimes it just kicks me out instead of loading a new page.
                                        3) The sites becomes unreachable when I opt for Tatkal. It becomes reachable the next moment when I opt for a Regular Ticket (Not Tatkal). This is just ridiculous.
                                        4) E-wallet is not allowed just when it is mostly needed. I cannot use E-wallet from 10 am to 11 am. Due to this, I have to leave the IRCTC website for final payment (I don't have a credit card) and after payment it does not return to IRCTC site most of the time. Consequently, I have to wait a week or more for the refund in spite of not being able to book a ticket.
