PNR No.[protected] Train 22650 DOJ 05/06/2015 fo myself and my wife under senior citizen quota.Recently it was announced by irctc that more than 50% lower berths will be allotted to senior citizens. But in my case one is upper berth and another is side upper. As we could not travel in upper berth I immediately cancelled the tickets. But the cancellation charge is (367.47-225) Rs.142.47. Please clarify what is the actual charges for cancellation? Why lower berths are not allotted when there is more than 200 berths available? Please clarify.

    we booked the ticket from Virudhunagar Jn, (Boarding at Madurai) to Sai Nagar Shirdi via Bangalore City Jn by cut journey ticket PNR No.[protected],[protected],[protected], on[protected], by Train No. 16235 for fourteen persons.On the date we 13 persons traveled in the Mysore Express, and one persons who's number S7, Berth 70 (UB) was not traveled with us. On next day[protected], we (all the 14 persons) are not traveled in the MYS-SNSI Express Train No. 16217, under PNR No.[protected],[protected] and[protected], since we already booked under tatkal and waiting list ticket for 3 AC coach and it was allotted to us. However, since the short time between arrival and departure, we are not moving the person available in Counter No.3 at morning and he denied our claim, because the Rs.Zero only marked in ticket. Further due to short time only available to us and there was door locked between 3 AC coach and ordinary sleeper class, we are not able to conduct TTE at Train. now only we returned from Shirdi and we wants to claim the not traveled passenger ticket fair through your channel.

      I have beeen trying to book tatakal ticket from past 1 month, each try i am trying lot of money is getting debited but tickcet will ner get booked. Please please please improve tatkal site. Now also I am not able to login, getting error as maintenance activity, please do do such maintenace's at tatakal lot lot of people are suffering due to this. Today also I have tried 4, each time lot of money gor debited and ticket never got booked. 'DUE TO MAINTENANCE ACTIVITY E-TICKETING SERVICE WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. INCONVENIENCE CAUSED IS DEEPLY REGRETTED'. please please please improve the site, it became a night mare to book tatkal tickets

        Hi This is regarding my grievance with the IRCTC internet ticketing website. This website is doing the best thing in the country that is it is making whole country fool by offering tatakal ticket booking online. I think it is easier to go to mars than to book Tatakal ticket from IRCTC website. Let me explain my problem yesterday I was booking the tatakal ticket from IRCTC website after selection the train I am not getting the status of the ticket for that train rather I am getting the beautiful message like "website is down please try after some time". The best thing about this message is that this message was only coming to the customer's and not to the agents, even nasa would be proud of those developers who are maintaining this website. Today again I tried the booking for the next I got an extra gift from IRCTC that is "DUE TO MAINTENANCE ACTIVITY E-TICKETING SERVICE WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. INCONVENIENCE CAUSED IS DEEPLY REGRETTED", that's the most humble message I would have ever received .IRCTC developers starts maintaining the site in the pick time it continues till 11:30 and it is still not completed, what a genius developer team IRCTC has. I know that I am not the 1st one complaining about IRCTC online ticketing tools but who cares. At least IRCTC doesn't care about customer and importance of there time. There people enjoy there life in AC. Our PM tell us about digital India but IRCTC gift us Dark India. I know there won' be any improvement from IRCTC side but still writing this complaint.

          Hi, I tried to book a ticket at tatkal time and the website was not allowing to complete the transaction instead of 2 times deductions of payment from my account. Again when i tried to book the ticket in premium tatkal the site displays a message "Maintenance Activity". The site is getting day by day a worst. Everytime when i tried to book a ticket in tatkal, i faced a transaction error, then mail the IRCTC team and ask them for the refund.

            I have been a regular use of IRCTC for the past 5 years and I book ticket to go home every weekend. I have also used Tatkal option regulary with 80% success rate but for the last 6 months, I am getting weird errors and no ticket gets booked. Messages like, 1) Unable to process your request 2) IRCTC is undergoing maintenance 3) You request cannot be processed or It simply logs out of my account has been the norm when I am 200% sure of not making any mistake from my end. Once all tickets gets booked, then the website becomes normal. This problem has happened to me in my residance at chennai, bangalore temporary residance, my office or my relative place. Even I have changed devices. Over time, things have to improve, but how come it can become bad? Are there any actions being made to improve things. Apart from me booking tickets in bus and I am asking all my friends to do the same now.

            If you can not run a simple website, than why don't you shut it down .!!

                  For last two days, I'm trying to get Tatkal ticket to attend some family urgency. The movement I can see book now it doesn't move ahead with the message- 'Server not reachable". The moment (whether its two minutes or 15 minutes) the tickets are in the WL- everthing is available- server and speed. I understand with the amount of business, it'll not impact IRCTC to take care of general public- but we'll wait for few more years to have this corruption move out of system. Please don't respond the generic answer, as my taxable income is used to use the server bandwidth. Thank you for being what you are, Rohit

                    I am trying to book the tatkal ticket, getting the error message : "This site is currently unreachable. Please try after some time". This error is frequent and we can't proceed any more till all the seats are filled, so we end up without booking. I am seeing this from last few days, probable a week. Where as previously this was not the case. There were no such errors and site was very smooth and faster in bookings. Please look into it fix the site error while booking tatkal ticket.

                      I HAD TRAVELLED WITH MY FAMILY FROM BANGALORE TO BHUVANESHWAR IN PRASHANTHI EXPRESS ON 9TH OF THIS MONTH AND RETURNED ON11TH. IT IS VERY SAD TO SAY THAT THE FOOD SERVED IN THE R TRAINS WAS HORRIBLE AND CANNOT BE CONSUMED BY HUMAN BEEINGS. AUTHORITIES ARE CONCERNED ONLY TO CHARGE HEAVILY BUT THE QUALITY IS VERY SUB STANDARD. WE HAD A FEELING THAT WHEN MR. COMES IN POWER THERE WOULD BE SOME CHANGES BUT REGRET TO SAY THAT IT IS WORSTER THAN BEFORE. MINISTRY IS ALWAYS CRY FOR A FARE INCREASE BUT NEVER BOTHER TO MONITOR THESE KIND OF THINGS . ALSO MANY PEOPLE ARE TRAVELLING WITHOUT TICKETS IN SUPER FAST EXPRESS TOO AND TTR WAS NOT AVAILANBLE TO CHECK THOSE PASSENGERS.I KNOW, MY COMPLAINT WILL NOT HAVE ANY IMPACT AND WILL BE IGNORED BUT NOW I HAVE A SATISFACTION THAT I HAVE TOLD WHAT I WANTED TO TELL.

                          Dear concern, I booked 2 tickets through IRCTC ONLINE RESERVATION in 19666 UDZ-KURJ EXP from JAIPUR to MAHOBA in class: FIRST AC which costs INR 4300.00 but then I rescheduled my plan so I cancelled it on same date i.e. 08-May-15. I got a msg from IRCTC which says "Your WL Tkt Cancelled. PNR, [protected], Amt 4230 will be refunded in your account." But I have'nt got my money back till date. I hope you'll look forward to this and do whatever is appropriate to get my money back. Thanking you.                             Dear Concern, I tried to made my reservations for two different destination but both time my amount was deducted and transaction was failed and I am not getting any status of my deducted amount. 01. The first one was from AUBR ( Anugrah Narayan Road) to NDLS ( New Delhi) on dated 12.05.15, the amount is INR 1609.94 the transaction I.D.[protected]. Train No.& Name : 12381 / POORVA EXPRESS 02. The second one was from GGN (Gurgaon) to JP ( Jaipur) on dated 14.05.15 the amount is INR 499.94 as received by SMS - Info : ECOM PUR / IRCTC / New Delhi / 140515/1210 and cross checked by online account summary of my bank. Note : Pl find attached the .jpg format of mini statement where amount deducted is marked in yellow. So, request you to please refund my deducted amount at the earliest.                             Helo sir, I tried to made my reservations on saturday 30 jan.2016 for two different destination but both time my amount was deducted and transaction was failed and I am not getting any status of my deducted amount.

                            01. The first one was from Gwalior(GWL) to Kalyan Junction (KYN) on dated 30.01.16, the amount is INR 584.35 rs, transaction time : 14.58pm AND Train No.& Name : 12618 / MANGALA EXPRESS
                            02. The second one was from MUMBAI (CSTM) to Gwalior(GWL) on dated 30.01.16 the amount is INR 1699.35 rs. Train was: PUNJAB mail no, 12137.transaction time:15.28 pm
                            received by SMS - Info : PUR / IRCTC / New Delhi / and cross checked by online account summary of my AXIS bank.city centre branch, Gwalior(.MP) this above mentioned both transaction money alreday deducted by IRCTC reservation portal.                               I have booked two ticket on 24th October 2014, and 1 ticket is confirmed but the 2nd ticket is not confirm.The Ticket is of AC 3 Tier(PNR Number [protected]). I have file a TDR against that ticket on 25 th October( TDR Cancellation ID :- [protected] and the PNR ID -[protected]), and due to not confirmation of ticket, my brother was unable to travel, and from that time to now, i didn't get the refunded money, even calling to the IRCTC CCE.they told hope you have travel on train.                                 Hi, When i planned and booked a tatkal ticket, As per the present if i cancel the ticket then i get 0 as refund. I will tell you a scenario which i faced, I visited nearest ticket booking counter which is 10km from my home then i booked a ticket from hyd to vizag for my wifemticket costed me around 1000 and after 2 hours my wife was feeling ill so i thought of cancelling ticket . But there wont be any use i need to change two share autos to reach to booking counter and cancel the ticket then i will get 0 as refund amount. So to fill the government pocket i need to loose additional 40 rupees to cancel the ticket. so i didn't cancelled. In the above scenario does the system has any trace that so and so person(Female, age 30 years) didn't travelled. If the TC is a too good person he will write the same and give a ticket to any other person. But if he has a small urge then he will make another person sit in that place and he can put those 1000 rs. in his pocket(for more security he can give that seat to a female of age around same). The second time no will come and check the already filled in seats as per the ticket manifest filled by the TC. I can assure, on an average a short distance superfast express has around 73 second class tatkal ticket and among them atleast 4-5 people may cancel(journey) in present situation no one prefers to cancel as they are not getting even a penny. And here the TC has a pretty good change to make money(if he is not a good person) and we dont have any system where we can track such changes. But if the government makes few changes Eg: ticket fair + 400 + 60(super fast charges) + 30(booking chanrges) = Rs.490 in case a tatkal ticket is cancelled then refund just 50% of ticket charge i.e., only 200 then people prefer to cancel ticket then the same ticket will be reserved to another waiting person. This process is really not good it is eating the middle class people money.

                                      Dear Railway authorities, I am a frequent traveller in the Train number 17236 from NCJ to SBC, and I have an experience of the train getting delayed always by 1 to 2 hours. The timing of arrival of this train is not prioritized as it is leaving the trains coming behind also. I have seen local train has been given first priority than this express train. For example, this train is supposed to reach Bangalore Cantonment by 8:25 am as per schedule, but reached today at 10:40 am. My journey details: PNR: [protected], S3, 72. I have made commitment in our offices considering the train arraival time. This kind of delays is really disappointing. Kindly take action to make sure the train reaches in time.
