Booking a tatkal ticket is now becoming a nightmare. As soon as the clock strikes 10am and we log in using our credentials and select our desired trains we are thrown out of the site by displaying us the error " Site is currently Unreachable". this error is consistent for atleast the next 15 mins and then the error disappears. When all the tickets are booked we are no more seeing that error message. Is there anyone who could look into this matter since I have facing this for weeks now.

    Dear Sir, I have booked E-ticket transaction no [protected], PNR no [protected] in train 12030 (Swarn Shatabdi) from JUC to NDLS to travel on 28-Apr-2015 in Sr citizen catagory. When i reached to station JUC to catch the train, i came to know that the train will not come to JUC today (28.04.15) and depart from LDH instead of Amritsar. Being a old Sr citizen, i had tried to reach LDH in one hour to catch the train but the train was left before i reached to platform. Regarding cancellation of ticket, it was told by your official that refund will credit in your account within three days automatically, but still no refund has been made by you.     On arrival at JUC station, we came to know that train has cancelled and ticket amount will be refunded in their account, but till date. but till date no amount has credited.

      FROM LAST THREE DAYS I AM TRYING TO BOOK A TATKAL TICKET BUT SO FAR I AM UNABLE TO BOOK IT. TATKAL BOOKING START AT 10:00 AM THAT TIME THE IMAGE WHICH WE NEED TO ENTER FOR LOGIN IS NOT UNDERSTANDABLE THAT TIME WE LOSE SOME MINUTE AFTER THAT IF ANY HOW I COULD MANAGE TO LOGIN BUT I COULD NOT ABLE TO BOOK MY TICKET. THE IRCTC WEB SITE SHOWS RESION FOR BOOKING FALIORE. I THINK IRCTC IS NOT CAPABLE TO MANAGE THIS BIG NETWORK, RAILWAY SHOULD CANCLE THEIR CONTRACT WITH IRCTC.

        From the past few days, when I am trying tatkal ticket, it is showing "this site is currently unreachable please try after some time". seats are over when it is resolved. Due to this issue I am unable to book my tickets through tatkal. What is the reason for this error and why it is showing like that. Previously it was not the case. Please resolve the issue ASAP.               Dear Sir, I filed a TDR with Cancellation ID: [protected] for Date of journey 24th Apr 2015, but the current TDR status is "CR Repudiate" and reason mentioned is "Invalid TDR Timestmap : CNF". I wish to bring to your kind notice that my train departed at 23:15PM on 24th Apr 2015, and the moment i tried to file the TDR, a message appeared that maintenance activity is going on from 23:30 PM(24th Apr 2015) to 2:30 AM (25th Apr 2015) due to which i could not login on irctc.co.in to file the TDR in the designated time window and i filled the TDR at 25-Apr-2015 02:29:01 HRS.                 On the 29th May 2015, I was trying to book tatkal tickets online for the 30th May 2015. I have successfully booked Tatkal tickets many times before. This time I had observed an aberration. I logged in at the right time at 10:00 am. The website was working fine until i reached the page where we get the current status and click on book now. On the click of it, I got the error: This site is currently unreachable, please try after some time. Please refer attached for details. I kept on trying to book the ticket, but failed to do so. This problem(error) kept on repeating itself from 10:02 am to 10:17 am on 29th May 2015. By 10:20, when I tried to try again, this time it worked however, the tickets which seemed available to us now was no longer available and it was waitlisted. I request irctc to look into this issue. This issue keeps happening especially during weekends. It is also strange that travel agents do manage to book tickets without much hassles while individual citizens like us do have these problems, Kindly let irctc address this asap. Regards, Anand

                I am also facing the same problem and my friends are also facing the same issue.
                It seems none o[censored]s our able to connect further once you see the screen where it tells book, Even if you pass through the screen, then on the next page again the same thing once we click next, It seems the server is either created that way so that online tatkal tickets cannot be booked at this time because the government has premium trains which cost you like you are travelling by a plane. or some hacker is creating a network congestion on the server.

                  I am a Senior Citizen of 75 yrs.old, reserved ticket on line for a journey on 23/04/2015 from Tatanagar to Howrah., was provided PNR No.[protected], compartment no.D4, Seat no 61.But to my surprise on 22/04/2015 night the day before my journey i received an SMS stating "Your tkt cancelled.PNR [protected], Amt 55 will be refunded in your acct."I can not understand how & on what basis the confirmed reservation has been cancelled..I was at a loss & coluld not decide what to do.On my journey day ie 23/04/2015 I came to Tatanagar stn., stood in the Q purchased a ticket & boarded in a unreserved compartment.How Rly.is going to compensate the harrasment meted out to an Senior citizen.PL.look into the matter & give me asuit able explanation.                     PASSENGER OF SABARMATI EXPRESS TRAIN IS FACING HUGE PROBLEM BECAUSE THERE IS A MAJOR PROBLEM REGARDING CLENEES IN THE TRAIN . THE RUNNING TIME OF THE TRAIN IS VERY LONG BECAUSE OF THAT WATER AND OTHER NECCERY THINGS FINISHED BEFORE TIME . SO PLEASE SOLVE THIS PROBLEM.

                      I booked e-ticket on 30/04is availa2015 at:02:15:07 Ref.No :IG00YKEQ7 for Rs.1259.94 and at:08:10:01 Ref.No. :IG00YLMFD9 for Rs.1259.94.but after confirmation for payment site hangs immediately both times but both times amount deducted from my account and above said messages received on my registered mobile.:[protected]/[protected].Now bank personal are asking to contact irctc care sites but no record is available on irctc site.Pl inform how to get refund.

                        When I am trying to book the tatkal ticket, from AKV to KMT getting the error message : "This site is currently unreachable. Please try after some time". This error is frequent and we can't proceed any more till all the seats are filled, so we end up without booking. I am seeing this from last few days, probable a week. Where as previously this was not the case. There were no such errors and site was very smooth and faster in bookings. Please look into it fix the site error while booking tatkal ticket.                           Dear Sir, I was trying to purchase a online ticket from irctc website for a premium train from mumbai central to lucknow in 3A. The website was showing a fare of 2570 . But later when I purchased the ticket the money diducted was around 5000. I had purchased 5 tickets on 21/04/15 and the date of journey was 30/04/15. The name of the train is lucknow premium train with no 09013. Transaction id for the same is [protected] with pnr no [protected].Also if i would have tried to return the ticket no refund would have been provided. So it is my humble request to see to it that if Indian railway is providing premium ticket they should inform the customer about the actual price of the ticket so that no further customer may suffer after purchasing the ticket.                             sir i have tried a ticket from secunderabad to visakhapatnam for 3 days in irctc website but at exactly 10.00 AM the site is giving somany errors like "concessional tickets are not allowed for this train/quota" or "this site is unreachable" or "the site is suspended" . previously before 1 year irctc site is very worst and now from 3 months we are feeling irctc is nice but the word is not standed now sir. we dont know any misuse is happening in irctc or there may be any other reason. the higher officials are requested to lookinto this issue and solve the problem as old people and ladies cannot go by bus as irctc is the only option railway ticket booking because the railway counters are always busy with the brokers.

                              On May 1st i booked a tatkal ticket from KCG to SBC with train 12785 after i paid the money through net banking Rs.487 was deducted from my account and i got a message on my screen stating that the booking failed. 15 minutes after this i got a message on my cell saying "your tkt cancelled.PNR [protected], amt 305 will be refunded in your account". I should get back Rs.487 and not Rs.305.

                              False Complaint- Refund message was for a ticket i cancelled on April 25th.By coincidence i got that message on May 1st so i misunderstood the message and sent a complain to irctc's customer care and got back this reply

                                The IRCTC site doesn't function properly during initial Tatkal hours. The site shows error like "This site is currently unreachable. Please try after some time" and that also at 10:02 or 10:03 am which is the starting of Tatkal window. If you don' want people to book tickets online then shut down this service and declare that you guys suck and we have to pay extra money to Brokers/Agents to get Tatkal Tickets. I am also attaching a screen-shot of the site during this time and it has been happening for last four days so I got irritated and had to file this complaint. I don't know whether by posting here any action will be taken or not since IRCTC doesn't replies to mails.

                                  from Past 5 days the site is showing the the Error "This site is currently unreachable. Please try after some time". Just before 10 A.M the site will work and at tatkal time it shows error and when the all ticked booked again the site will resume and will show all the waiting list or regret.What they are doing why they are not resolving the problem.

                                    Dear sir, This is Jagdish prasad.Today on date 30.4.2015 I have booked a ticket from bilwara to Delhi sarai rohilla in 12982 chetak exp in 3A class from premium tatkal quota the journey date is 1 May2015. The IRCTC shown the total charge of the ticket is Rs.1110 -/ but when i booked the ticket the total amount of Rs. 2174.94 has deduct from my account also the printed ticket shown Ticket fare Rs 2130 and IRCTC service charge Rs. 44.94. How it is possible and why my Rs 1064.94 more deduct for this ticket. Please give me the detail for this deduction and refund my extra money at earlier basis.My booked ticket details are below- Pnr no.                                       Hi Sir, I have booked Tatkal e-ticket 2s(SL) for my father Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma from Amrisar(ASR) Departure-16:25 to BINA-Junction (Bina) for journey on 10 April 2015(Train 18238/ Chhatishgarh Express).My faher is a Retired Clerk from PSEB (Punjab State Elecrticiy Board).He was travelling alone and on Demand of Ticket Collector(TT) he Show the Sms of Ticket on mobile, printed copy of e-ticket and Orginal ID proof mentioning his name, Employee Code And Pan card number on it (Photo Id card issue by Central Government-PSEB) as well as show the voter card id, but the Ticket Collector(TTR) refused to accept that as an identity proof which is totally unacceptable and insane behaviour of the ticket collector. Then, TTR was asking for the PAN CARD Only as a identity proof of him, but my father does not have the PAN card right at the moment.The TTR behaved rudely and fined Rs.940 (double the actual ticket fare for ), which is totally unaccepatable as such, i have already paid for this ticket in the tatkal by paying the amount of Rs. 642.47 online. If i had already paid for the ticket, the why my father had paid extra 940 rs. as a fine to the ticket collector, if he had show him all the valid proof of him as a identifty proof. As per photo Id proof concern, it is clearly mentioned in the tatkal ticket e-Slip that any of the mentioned below Photo Id card will be consider as the valid id proof. Voters ID card issued by the election commission of India PAN card issued by Income-tax department. Driving license issued by RTO. Photo ID card having serial number issued by the State/Central Government. Credit card issued by banks with laminated photograph. etc.. My father is travelling alone and he is senior citizen.The language which TTR had used was very abusing and it was harassment to the senior citizen I paid Rs. 642.47 (Transaction ID - [protected], PNR-[protected]) for booking the tickets (online) and my father paid a fine of Rs.940 (Recipt no-E029047 Dated- 11th April 2015)). So totally we have paid up ~Rs.1582 (which is totally insane). I NEED JUSTICE and I need to be charged only what I should be charged.Also the TTR who has harassed my father and caused mental torture to them should be punished. So I need to escalate this issue, as well as I need to get back my money if he has charged us wrongly. Thanks, Aradhana

                                        I tried to book tatkal ticket from my id from last two days but after filling the details of passengers it do not proceed for payment. Again IRCTC have been captured by brokers and corrupt officers. Mr railway minister wake up and do needful for public.
                                        Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation [IRCTC] customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
