I have booked Tatkal e-ticket 2s(SL) for my father Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma from Amrisar(ASR) Departure-16:25 to BINA-Junction (Bina) for journey on 10 April 2015(Train 18238/ Chhatishgarh Express).My faher is a Retired Clerk from PSEB (Punjab State Elecrticiy Board).He was travelling alone and on Demand of Ticket Collector(TT) he Show the Sms of Ticket on mobile, printed copy of e-ticket and Orginal ID proof mentioning his name, Employee Code And Pan card number on it (Photo Id card issue by Central Government-PSEB) as well as show the voter card id, but the Ticket Collector(TTR) refused to accept that as an identity proof which is totally unacceptable and insane behaviour of
the ticket collector.
Then, TTR was asking for the PAN CARD Only as a identity proof of him, but my father does not have the PAN card right at the moment.The TTR behaved rudely and fined Rs.940 (double the actual ticket fare for ), which is totally unaccepatable as such, i have already paid for this ticket in the tatkal by paying the amount of Rs. 642.47 online.
If i had already paid for the ticket, the why my father had paid extra 940 rs. as a fine to the ticket collector, if he had show him all the valid proof of him as a identifty proof.
As per photo Id proof concern, it is clearly mentioned in the tatkal ticket e-Slip that any of the mentioned below Photo Id card will be consider as the valid id proof.
Voters ID card issued by the election commission of India PAN card
issued by Income-tax department.
Driving license issued by RTO.
Photo ID card having serial number issued by the State/Central Government.
Credit card issued by banks with laminated photograph. etc..
My father is travelling alone and he is senior citizen.The language which TTR had used was very abusing and it was harassment to the senior citizen
I paid Rs. 642.47 (Transaction ID - [protected], PNR-[protected]) for booking the tickets (online) and my father paid a fine of Rs.940 (Recipt no-E029047 Dated- 11th April 2015)). So totally we have paid up ~Rs.1582 (which is totally insane). I NEED JUSTICE and I need to be charged only what I should be charged.Also the TTR who has harassed my father and caused mental torture to them should be punished. So I need to escalate this issue, as well as I need to get back my money if he has charged us wrongly.

Updated by aradhana I am still waiting for the resposes..no responses i have get till now from the IRCTC Department.
Booking a tatkal ticket is now becoming a nightmare. As soon as the clock strikes 10am and we log in using our credentials and select our desired trains we are thrown out of the site by displaying us the error " Site is currently Unreachable". this error is consistent for atleast the next 15 mins and then the error disappears. When all the tickets are booked we are no more seeing that error message. Is there anyone who could look into this matter since I have facing this for weeks now...
