Dear Team IRCTC, I'm very happy with the efforts being taken to develop train services. But I'm afraid with the privatisation being happening these days. For your knowledge I had a very bad experience at an additional current ticket vending counters (mostly privately operated) in the basement of Pune Railway Station. Usually I see that these counters deny to issue Platform Tickets to the Customers. I guess they do not have the right to deny this service as the other counter person issues the Platform ticket. BUT THIS COMPLETELY DEPENDS ON THEIR MOOD. Last Sunday on date[protected] at 11 am I had visited station to attend my parents who were on the way to my native via Pune. I visited one of the ticketing counter in the basement and the CHILD (a person of age between 15-18 years) was handling this counter. I requested him to issue platform ticket. He denied rudely saying that we have stopped issuing platform ticket since 01st March, 2015. For your information I had got the platform tickets from the same vendor on Thursday i.e.[protected] @ around 3.30 pm. For this I objected him not to tell lie and if he does not wishes then he should speak true and not with false statements (and that too in a polite manner using term DADA - Meaning Brother in Marathi). The child came heavily (aggressively) upon me and said "I DO NOT WISH TO ISSUE PLATFORM TICKETS TO YOU, DO WHATEVER YOU WISH YOU CAN". Meanwhile another person approached him to issue platform ticket and he accepted him to issue with the ONLY INTENT TO SHOW ME THAT IT IS HIS WISH. In fact they charge Re.1/- additional for the platform tickets. I do not understand why Government is hiring such HOOLIGANS as their ticket vendors. In fact Government keeps asking to waive off Subsidies on various utilities provided by Govt. say for an instance Cooking Gas. Even these Gas Vendors are RUDE and seem to be a bit HOOLIGAN type. We as a common man cannot even argue to our point else we would get beaten up with these vendors as they have unity within them. Further to view my thought. I have been seeing request of Modi Govt. to waive off Subsidy on LPG voluntarily. Till Saturday I was of the view that I as a Citizen of India should contribute and support Government in overcoming their hurdles and decided to waive off subsidy on my LPG Connection. BUT AFTER RLWY PLATFORM INCIDENCE & DUE TO THESE FREQUENT NUISANCES WITH THE VENDORS I HAVE CHANGED MY MIND AND HAVE FORMED OPINION THAT NOT TO WAIVE OFF ANY SUCH SUBSIDY. A meager amount of 2045 INR is taking almost 2 MONTHS to be refunded.       Dear Sir/Madam, In spite of so many emails and phone conversations my problem is not resolved. It’s testing my patience, hence request you to resolve my issues ASAP. Moreover all my booking histories and details of TDR’s are missing please look into it and resolve my problem. & NOTE: I have filed TDR on[protected], same date was my Date of Journey: PNR No. [protected]. Ticket was for 3 passengers travelling from HWH to DURG out of three tickets only 1 ticket got confirmed and other 2 were in Waiting List, so none of three traveled. TDR was filed on same date much before train left station i.e. HWH. Initially it was rejected and later after telephonic conversation I couldn't find my histories in IRCTC account.           Hi IRCTC I had booked a ticket from Koaa to Njp for the 29 the March 2015 with scheduled departure at 20:45. I missed my train and wanted to cancel the ticket to get the refund. The station master said that since the cancellation counter had closed we will get the refund on the next day after 6am In the online portal it showwd the ssystem is down due to system update.             Hi Today(29/03/2015) while travelling to New Delhi from kharagpur in the train Purshotam express (12801), I found something very much anyoing, catering people the were charging the customer for any edible thing very ruthlessly. They sell tea for Rs.10 and cold drink at Rs.4o and it's clearly printed the price is Rs.34 . They can sell it at most Rs.36 or Rs.37 by justifying cooling charges but no they are sturd. I got antagonist when I asked them a bottle of water which costs Rs.15 as printed and I paid Rs.20, then the caterer said he do not have change of Rs.5 so either I have to have two bottles or have to pay exact amount in change. When I denied to buy two bottles then he said, if you want to purchase do what I said to you else you leave the bottle or forget the extra Rs.5 . I was so frustrated because of his behaviour so I visited to his manage and explain him whole scenario I got surprise when I found the same reaction from the manager as well. I asked him several times that could you please show me the irctc price list of the edible things, he just ignored and keep on wasting my time. I insisted then somehow he showed me that price list, in which I haven't seen the price of cold drinks and many more. I asked him that do you know that you caterer are selling things at high price he kept silent. Then I asked him that will you able to provide me any complaint form, he not at all cooperating, so I left the thing. I also want to bring in notice that when they are suppose to sell the things at that exact print price why they don't sell the good brands, for example they sell mango splash instead of maza/slice which cost the same to the consumers but low margin for the seller. The catering who were in the pantry car of Purshotam express(12801) where Meals on Wheels and the name of manager was Mr. Suraj Singh. Hope you will look into the matter and take necessary steps.               What kind of service this 139 is providing ?? Is it making fool of the passengers??. Today on 29 march, 2015 such a disappointed service had been provided by the 139 that has taken my trust from this number. I had missed my train because of 139 service. Train no. 19414Which is scheduled at 8:05 at bhopal junction, according to 139 service it was 1 hr 30min late that too i checked it at 7:30 . Then suddenly when i checked the status of my train again at 8:30 then it was stated that THE TRAIN HAD DEPARTED. It was very annoying . I am very angry by this careless service . If 139 cannot provide good service then it must be shutdown. Also, i checked status on http://m.runningstatus.in/status/19414/[protected] This site was also showing the same status. This is totally an unrealistic situation for a passenger who wants to reach the destination on time. Also, my seat was reserved in tatkal so their is no provision of getting back my money. I have incurred loss of 645 INR. It puts an extra burden on me as i am a student. This really amounts to unreliability of railway services. The matter needs to be looked upon and a stringent measure needs to be taken to curb this issues and ask for compensation.

                An e ticket was booked vide PNR [protected] train no. 12204 D.O.J[protected], CC, JUC-NDLS, Dep.05:35, ARVINDER KAUR, J2, 58 fare: 415, sc22.47+PG CHGS. The train could not be boarded and TDR was filed on[protected] at about 5.00 am. The refund has not been received in the bank account till date. Kindly send the refund in the bank account which was debited to make payment. Thanks

                  sir/madam, I travelled in 12724 AP exp fro ndls to sc at 0400h on 28 Mar 15 as the train was rescheduled at ndls. My PNR is [protected] and berth No. S9-9. As the waiter of the coach, did not provided water and curd both times at lunch and dinner for Mr. Ali aged 74yrs, he had omplained to the waiter why he did not provided these despite reminders, Mr. Ali also complained that the chapatis provided were of lunch times and hard. He said he would reduce 5 to 10 rupees. By this he started misbehaving with the senior citizen as co-passenger, I could not tolerate and I interrupted. By this he said TUM KYON BEECH ME AA RAHE HO BE TUMNE TO KUCH KHAYA NAHI" When I objected to this by saying give respect, he said tumhare jaise bhikari ko kya ijjat and hit on my eye which swollen and blood also came. I took photos of my injured face. After I along with Mr. Ali went to Pantry supervisor and complaned about this and shown my injured face. We asked for complant book three times at three different times, but the supervisor did not produce. The same was complained at Secunderabad vide compaint No. 260484 at about 0600h after alighting the train. This kind of behaviour by pantry staff like goons is not acceptable keeping the prestigious Indian Railways reputation in the world. What examples are we setting to the visitors and to our own people. The passengers are scared even to ask them for thier right. Even the waiter did not take order for Veg Biryani at dinner. This thing was also asked by me but he said there are wandering waiters they would provide. If this is the case then what is the fun of having a Pantry Car which is run by such supervisor and such goons. Please look into the matter. I did not report to Police because I have to rejoin my job by 05 Apr 15 at Siachen Glaciers. I am a soldier who is guarding the nation and even part of rescue operations of civilians who are in deep troubles. JAI HIND.

                    I have booked an e-ticket on 03.11.2014 Train No 17236 for travelling from TEN to HSRA on 31.12.2014 for 4 persons vide PNR No [protected]. I have cancelled 2 passengers out of 4 on 25.12.2014. I have received SMS from IRCTC stating that 2 tickets were cancelled and Rs 510.00 would be credited to my account.But till date the amount has not been credited.                       I have booked a ticket in AC Coach (CC) in intercity Express on dated 22.03.2015 for journey date[protected] from BDL to LKO. One of my TDR is not yet settled after giving so many reminders. it's been a long time to get a revert on the same. TDR was filled Reference No: [protected]. I did not travelled as we had connecting flight and we applied for TDR on the same day as the chart was prepared..kindly do the needful to settle the transaction of the same.

                            I have booked railway tickets on 24/03/2015. Its total cost is 600. They deducted Rs. 11.24 as tax for each bookings. Then they have deducted Rs.11.25 on 26/03/2015 without prior information. i would like to know the reason for deducting amount from my account. Kindly resolve the issue.

But unfortunately one was confirmed & rest three was waitlisted. So naturally the confirmed passenger traveled & rest of the three persons did not travel. The TTE has given me a TDR / GR certificate for refund of the fare for that 3 persons. I claimed the same in online in TDR site. They have given a Ref.no. [protected].                                 I travel in 12863 - howrah Yeshwantpur train quite very frequently and noticed that the ladies compartment in this train is filled only by males where in the ladies who get In hardly find place even to stand. Why is that this situation is not questioned by police and the benefits though given to women they're not getting benefitted.

                                  Myself, Ms. Bhakti Baheti and Mr. Ujjwal Baid had booked two dormitory rooms online at Thane Station (MH) on 28th Feb. and the check in date was 20th March, 2015. I had specified gender as 'female', had paid the charges and booking was successful. However, when we reached there, we came to know that the dormitory was only for gents and ladies were not allowed. If this is the case, I should not be allowed to book the room itself. It caused very much inconvenience to us and our money was also wasted.                                     Everyone knows this and i don't know why railway board is not taking any action against these IRCTC contractors. It seems that all are involved in this corruption to loot innocent public..
                                    More than 2 years since the initial post, and we still have this issue. I have been mostly travelling via the Bangalore-Chennai route. They behave very rude if you question this overpricing. Apparently nothing has been done so far.
                                    The rate of pantry water bottle is getting higher train num is 02142 pnr num is[protected]
                                    Actual rate 15rs but pantry boys sale 20rs per bottle
                                    Today's rate of water bottle is 20 Rs
                                    Train number 12217. Grate job IRCTC
                                    Today I bought a bottle from Anand Vihar railway station, its price was written as Rs.15 per bottle, per shopkeeper gave me Rs.20. Why is such arbitrariness going on. How long will this go on? Why doesn't the railway taking action against these shopkeepers .This is a kind of corruption.

                                        I have to visit some place with my family but new rule is getting as obstacles for booking family ticket between 8 - 12 . Ur site saying after 12 noon u can book ticket for family's .How? After 12 all seats will go to WL then how I conform by ticket through online .Instead of this "One Ticket Can Be Booked Online " Ur site can stop giving service.why Ur online booking service is opened for told others that we have some kind of website that can book ticket .

                                        Its ridiculous decision, . the person who implement this may be total .
                                        You are right as many people will suffer with this rule. They are telling that they did this to stop agents from getting hands to tickets, as they and everybody knows that IRCTC agents are only involved in corruption and railway board knows this very well then also no one is taking action against this people.
