I was trying to book a ticket form Bhubansehwar to Delhi in Rajdhani Express for 15th Mar and was online well before 10AM. Till 10 AM everything went smooth . But as soon as 10AM struck, my session was logged out. Now when I tried to re-login the site did not open. When it did open the CAPTCHA played smart. It showed words so jumbled into each other that it became so difficult to see and I faltered thrice. Even after so many hiccups I found that the tickets availability from 132 earlier dropped to 62 in no time. When I filled the form and went for booking it said this service is not available this time. after 2 unsuccessful attempts I finally managed to get thorugh again facing the challenging and highly jumbled up CAPTCHA characters. Post all this effort I was unsure that I would get a confirmed ticket or not and thats what happened. I could manage only WL-12&13 tickets after all this effort. I sincerely believe that IRCTC has made lives o[censored]s commoners very easy post the online launch but it is now into favouring all the DALALs and Insiders I guess. How come this happens only when you go for a tatkal ticket. Now when I am login its so smooth. The CAPTCHAs are so simple, nice and readable. THERE IS A BIG SCAM GOING ON I BELIEVE AND SOME SERIOUS ACTIONHAS TO BE TAKEN. MIND YOU THIS WAS NOT THE ONLY TIME I HAVE FACED THIS PROBLEM, BUT I HAVE TO VENT MY ANGER ONLY THIS TIME. Pls do something about this.

    First Time I booked flight ticket with IRCTC, but amoount deducted and status was showing "Requested" Not received any PNR or ticket number, tried calling customer care [protected], but this number shows invalid. Tried calling other number of IRCTC customer care, they doesn't help and share one another contact details, called on that number n number of times, no body picked up the call. Pls call at [protected]. Rahul

      THIS IS REGARDING THE COMPLAINT REGISTERED AGAINST INDIAN RAILWAY. I HAVE BOOKED THETICKETS FROM IRCTC .. THE DETAILS ARE AS FOLLOWS PNR:- [protected] TRAIN NO:- 15018 DATE OF JOURNEY:[protected] AT THE TIME OF BOOKING I GOT CONFIRMD SEAT IN BOGIE NO S2A...WHICH WAS SUPPOSED TO B ON THE FRONT SIDE OF THE ENGINE BUT AT THE TIME OF BOARDING THAT BOGIE WAS MISSING & NO PRIOR WARNING WAS THERE...AND THE PASSENGERS WERE SENIOR CITIZEN WHO WERE CARRYING TWO BAGS...WHEN THE TRAIN CAME AT CHALISGAON STATION THEY GOT CONFUSED AND HARASSED TOO.. I STRONGLY AGAINST THIS IRRISPONSIBLE MANAGMENT OF INDIAN RAILWAY

        Sir, I booked a ticket with PNR no [protected] for journey on 14.12.2014 from Koderma to Kalyan Jn. I was not travel because Train 12321 was more than 6 hrs late. and also filed a TDR with reason Train more than 3hrs late. but IRCTC rejected my complain and write to reason train was not late more than 3 hrs, but train was came more than 6 hrs at Koderma Station.. I Would like to notify you here is, If i book through IRCTC will get refund in 7 days in case of any failures, the same thing In VIA taking more than 90 days.             i booked a ticket on 6 MAR 2015 through internet banking using SBI accont, the ticket charges were deducted from my account at same the time. But after two days i.e. 8 mar 2015 again Rs 11.25 was deducted from my account showing "DEBITICI[protected]IG00RSOED4Commission of IG00R-" this had heppaned earlier too. What is This? Refund my money as possible as and do provide me the details amount the deduction of the amount after one day for the transaction made a day earlier. Why its happened?               I Ashok and booked the tickets on 16th feb 2015 from DVD-GNT(train no.12805) though SBI debit card banking.Due to technical problem transaction is failed and money is debited two times with the transaction numders are [protected] & [protected] from the account to IRCTC

                I have written 30 times(below mail) to IRCTC regarding the refund of the money, there is no proper response also when i asked under which rule they have decided to refund of money, no reply has been given till date. Dear Sir, Subject : With respect to your email regarding the TDR amount to be refunded. Sir, i have booked an e-ticket with PNR no. [protected]. The date of the journey was 16-Feb-2015 from Raipur at 12:40 PM, which is the departure time from Raipur. The amount i have paid for 3-AC was 1472.47. Due to some reason i was unable to travel, so i had to cancel the ticket, since the chart was already prepared i filed online TDR at "16-Feb-2015 05:26:42 HRS" Now today i am getting an email regarding the refund of cancelled ticket. It says that amount "725" has been refunded, which is wrongly calculated and against the refund rules namely Ministry of railway notification new delhi dated 6th june 2013. According to the file Amendments_RefundRules_2406.pdf, Rule 7A, which is related to the cancellation of e-ticket, in which sub-clause (2) says that "in case of confirmed e-ticket refund shall be granted in accordance with rule 6". Sub-clause (b) of the rule 6 says that "if the ticket is presented for the cancellation between forty eight hours upto six hours before the scheduled departure of the train, cancellation charge shall be twenty five percent of the fare". I have filed TDR online at 16-Feb-2015 "05:26:42 HRS" the scheduled departure time was 12:40 PM, that means there is difference of 7 hours, 13 minutes and 18 seconds, which is inside of "upto six hours" of said Rule 6 (even if i take source departure time it will be inside the bracket given in the rule 6). Accordingly the deduction amount should be 368.11 Rs.only and the rest amount which comes out to be " 1104.35 Rs " should be refunded. Kindly please look into the situation and provide the necessary input from your side and do the needful, as i am a student, this is a big amount for me. Thank You. Attached : Please look into the Refund rules file, which is attached.Also find the TDR filing date and time and e-ticket. PS. Please also note that when one searches for the rules for the cancellation one gets many link like this which says same about the refund :http://www.services.irctc.co.in/beta_htmls/refundrules.html

                    I have just booked three tickets yesterday between 8.07 am to 8.20 am of date 10th May 2015, TRAIN NAME-COROMANDAL EXP.for journey from HOWRAH TO CHENNAI CENTRAL STATION. I Have received three messages of SBI that Rs 3493.72, Rs.1352.49 & Rs.1352.49 was deducted on[protected] at 8:07 am, 8:13 am & 8:20 am respectively. I have checked transaction details but it has not been displayed on irctc website this states that the above ticket have not been booked and total Rs 6198.70 has been deducted for a invalid reason from my SBI saving account.Kindly refund the above amount in my same account with intimation to me. contact number - [protected].

                        Dear Sir I have filed TDR dated 18-Dec-2014 11:43 AM train no. - 13006/ASR HWH MAIL as train is delayed by more than 16 hours and TDR is rejected by 16 hours and when I talk to the executive today they said we can't do anything as my parents keep on waiting whole night at the station till 10am in morning as ticket booked was online and my parents said to cancel the tickets and now after three months waiting for my money to refund now authority IRCTC have cancelled my TDR so I want to file TDR against them to harass the customers as train late by 16 hours and on cancellation you doesn't refund the TDR on filling proper mails to your department ...                                 I had filed TDR on 25th Dec 2014 01:30:22 AM, and i have given reason "Train Was Late More then 3 hr. and passenger's not travelled" First time IRCTC rejected my TDR with reason "Invalid TDR Timestmap : DELAY". On that time i concerned with customer care and raised ticket to reopen my case because i filed TDR before train reached on my station and train was delay approx 5 hr. IRCTC re-opend my case and then rejected with reason "Train was running ontime". In actual scenario train started from starting point more then 5 hr late. For your information please find details below and some screen shot to prove that train was delayed on 24th Dec 2014.                                   I had booked a ticket by 12677 / ERNAKULAM EXP from Bangalore City Junction (SBC) to Ernakulam South Junction (ERS) to travel on[protected]. I got a message also confirming my ticket details, my seat no being C1 65. When I reached the station to my dismay I found that there was no name in the chart on the coach against seat No 65 and it was written (D). The train was in the 4th platform and I went all the way to the 1st platform to enquire in the Enquiry but I was asked to ask the TTR . TTR comes only just before the train starts. Luckily when I checked my PNR number I saw that my seat no was shifted to C1 47. I being young running around was okay but imagine an old lady with luggage travelling alone undergoing such trauma. IRCTC can send another message informing the new seat number and the staff at Enquiry Section can check the PNR number and find out and inform the passenger instead of asking to contact the TTR. Everybody does not have a smartfone with them. The condition of the coach also is pathetic. I hope our Honourable Railway Minister will look into the matter.

I booked 6 i-tickets this morning 11/3/15 in Rampurhat intercity from prantik to sealhdah amounting Rupees 526 through net banking and the amount has been deducted from my bank account. But i have not recieved any confirmation from IRCTC in my mobile. further in the booked ticket history of IRCTC transaction charges are not being shown. i request you to immediately look into the matter of grave concern and confirm the tickets. The DATE OF JOURNEY being 16/3/15.
