Dear Sir, I booked the ticket CSTM to BBS on 24/05/2014.But I got RAC on booked ticket. After the Chart preparation, Booked ticket is not confirmed, So I did not travel on that journey.After that I filed the TDR request, But I did not get my refund.     While i am booking for a ticket from indore to gwalior by indore bhind express on 19/7/2014 for journey date 29/7/2014 in between 1200 hrs to 1300 hrs from my PNB net banking and money has been deducted but ticket not issued whose transaction number is [protected].so please refund my money as soon as possible.         Dear Sir, With profound sorrow and deep regretfully I want to tell that I tried all the ways to create a login id for irctc booking but sorry could not. All my email/gmail IDs and mobile numbers have been registered with irctc but none of them could make my efforts through. I do not know whether irctc is so funny or what else. What is so critical there that I have handled thousands of computers and could not successfully login in irctc. Very shame ful on the part of so called irctc which is not at all user friendly. If I could not make, there would be thousands/lakhs who would be unable to create a login id and perforce have to queue up at res counters for their reservations. Very very poor on the part of irctc support group. Shyam

          Train Number 19132 ( Kutch Express) is late since more than 2 months. Kindly make it regular or else try to provide another train as an option. We regular people unable to reach our working place on time because of late schedule of this train. Our job is in risk. Please take it seriously. Thanking you Regards

            Dear Sir / Madam, Transaction ID :[protected] PNR No. :[protected] Train No. & Name : 12736/ SC GARIB RATH Date of Booking :17-Jul-2014 Class: THIRD AC Quota : TATKAL Date of Journey :18-Jul-2014 From: YPR To : SC Boarding At : YPR Date Of Boarding : 18-Jul-2014 Reservation Upto : SC This is to bring into your kind notice that my family was schedule to travel from Bangalore to Hyderabad on 18/7/2014 by Garib Rath (details enclosed above). She had tickets for 3rd A.C. with status Confirmed. In a rush to board the train, my wife did not notice whether she was carrying the original or duplicate id card. After realizing during the ticket check she explained and apologized with the TTE for the same. He did not have any name tag on his jacket, hence she could recollect his name. He demanded a bribe of Rs 500 per ticket for the same. My wife refused to pay the bribe and after furious exchange of words between the TTE and my wife, she agreed to pay the penalty for not carrying the original id card but will not pay the bribe. Out of fury the TTE demanded 3300/- per ticket which was unacceptable by my wife. As we read the instruction on the ticket, in case the passenger fails to produce the original id card the TTE shall penalise with an additional amount of RS 50 per ticket from the passenger. Without having any courtesy that he was dealing with a women passenger with 2 small kids he simply started abusing her and asked her to get off the moving train immediately (very slowly though). Somehow she managed to get off the train. She approached the station master office but couldn’t find anyone on the seat and hence returned home since it was getting too late. I urge the addressee to kindly look into this serious matter and a strict disciplinary action should be taken to the responsible T.T.E., those who harass and create nuisance for the passenger. I shall await a response from the authority. Failing which I shall approach the consumer redressal court for justice.

            And the customer care has asked me to go and meet the station master for this complaint. I do not understand why can't there be an online support. For hearing I can be called for clarification. Going to the station master may or may not yield any result.

            I am raising an alarm about a corrupted TTE. Request you to please treat this seriously.

              Today just now when i tried to do reservation through irctc new site i was getting log off without any reasons, five time i tried to do reservation...I DO NOT WHY WE CANNOT MAKE USER FRIENDLY SYSTEM...this is just helping mal practices going on in reservations of railway...due to this i have to contact agents for reservation for which i have to give more money then ticket...that too will not be accounted in railways...if possible pl. do revert on action taken.

                IRCTC website and their mail to me claims refund of Rs. 320/- for a ticket mentioned below.

                But unfortunately, I have not got the credit in my SBI Bank account. Please investigate what happened and reply ASAP. I had another refund which successfully got refunded, but this gone problematic.

                  when i entered forget password link then site asking security question which is not the same. which i entered while registration. so, either start my account with sending password on my mail id or just cancel the account. so, i can make new id for my next bookings.

                    As per the rules for senior citizen lower berth is alloted, but due to some fault lower birth is not alloted for senior citizen allthough seats were vaccant this may cause a lot of in convenience for them .
                    So sir its my request to pay attention to it .

                        Sir, I have cancelled my ticket on 27th June and ticket was booked for 1st july. Irctc webste is saying that money has been refunded into my account but my account statement doesn't displaying any sort of money received from irctc. On irctc website, its saying that money has been refunded to my account but there is not such money has come in it.                             I am not able to get SMS and when i am trying to print its showing nothing and when trying to get pnr status its not showing anything. sometimes it automatically takes the old website and when i am trying to find the booked history its not showing up anything. If IRCTC is not able to maintain its website then they need to give this project to some other company. The company which is currently handling IRCTC project is worst, without checking properly and tested it properly how can they release such a defect product to Indian Govt? Before releasing any product they should think twice, because its affecting the general people. If by chance they are travelling without any sms or printout they have to pay penalty, for that govt is not going to repay for that. And the other problems are I cannot cancel any ticket, because its no showing anything when i click on cancel ticket. I appeal that legal action should be taken for both IRCTC and the company who is handling the Project of IRCTC.

                              Dear sir/madam,
                              this is girish rayapaneni i travelled from Chennai (MAS) to Renigunta (RU) in Mumbai express(11042) on 14/07/2014 I got into Sleeper coach(S1) with TC permission and when he came to me I showed my ticket and I have asked for the excess fare that I have to pay for the reservation he said it was100rs when I have asked for receipt he said ill be back in 10minutes i have waited almost half an hour and i went to him he said no need of receipt you almost reached then i forced him he said that he will come to my coach after that he didn't show off not only for me person who sat opposite to me also gave him money like this just imagine how much money he got in to his pocket which belongs to our government .When I got down I saw a complaint board aganist corrupted govt workers (PH no:[protected] &+91-[protected]) i called those numbers i have tried almost 4 to 5 times they didn't pick my call this shows how government officers are dedicated towards their duties I am 24 years old now i was doubting whether i gonna witness our country in the developed countries list.Dont think in other i Know even this cannot be taken as serious issue please atleast do something our government is loosing crore's of rupees which can be used for further investment and so many TC's are giving duplicate challan's try to uderstand the situation and be responsible to our country growth . I am taking a print out of this details i'm gonna put it in press club.

                                  Hi, I booked a ticket from NDLS to BTI in Tatkal and had to pay more than double the price that from General. On thoroughly checking the same it came to my notice that there was a lot of difference in the base fare i.e. in general it was Rs. 535 but in Tatkal base fare changes to Rs. 692.                                   Even I too observed the same on IRCTC website. For a ticket from SC to EE, base fare for general ticket 225 and for tatkal it's showing as 265.
                                  hi | booked a Tatkal ticket from rpar to dli in himachal express .and payed double of regular fare, after checking found that base fare is different[protected].

                                  Hello all,

                                  I link given below explains the huge difference between the base fares of normal and tatkal tickets.

                                  The nutshell of the whole article is that the minimum base fare of tatkal ticket has been increased for all trains.

                                  Revised minimum distance(whose fare will be taken as base fare) under Tatkal scheme
                                  Second Sitting: 100km
                                  AC Chair Car, Executive Class: 250km
                                  Sleeper, 3AC Economy Class, AC 3-Tier, AC 2-Tier: 500km

                                  This surge in short-distance Tatkal reservation prices is because the Railways has amended its Tatkal rules, but hasn't even bothered to inform the people it impacts the most - the passengers.

                                  I hope the above article helps.
                                  Base fare is different for same train between same source and destination under normal and tatkal booking ?
                                  I have sent many mails to indian railway and also tweeted over it but no response. If anyone having any info abt it please share

                                        Hello Sir/Madam, This is to inform you that train no-02260 NDLS-SEALDAH premium express train is ridiculous! I just could not access the site www.irctc.co, in since 10th of June(this is a previous event) so there were no tickets available for the route ndls-kolkata on 14th of June So i saw this train and i saw a huge eye watering train fare but had no choice booked it. As I came to the coach i saw cockroaches, dirt, a soiled bedsheet, stinking blanket the list is endless. Even the food was no where near the premium status.I thought there might be a wifi at least but alas nope, i even had to ask for the newspaper many times! So this was the premium train which was again almost 6 hours late! To compensate we were told of "Mini Lunch"..! What the hell? Get this train off the tracks or give us more value for the money! U guys are getting more expensive than even air travel! And your site is worse even on 4g signal? PNR-[protected]
