I am travelling from last 4 years in shivnath express (train no.- 18239), every day having unnecessary delay and we are facing more problem, my home is in bhilai chhattisgarh every time I reached at bhilai late night 12 o'clock, I already give so many complain but no result.

Always this train is late, korba to akatara distance is only 66 KM, from korba he dispatched on 17.45 & akaltara arrival time is 19.23 but every time train arrived after 8 O'clock, 40 min necessarily late,

In case of no immediate action taken from Indian railway, than i forward this case to consumer court for unnecessary creating problem for passengers.

    Hi sir/madam, On 5th August 2014, I was travelling in Thiruvananthapuram-Chennai Superfast(12696) train and inside it I had a bitter(shocking) experience. My baggage was damaged by a rat which was running inside the compartment. I was shocked when I pulled my backage which I kept below my seat. Rat jumped through my body and I was in shock for couple of minutes. This is not the first time I am having this sort of an experience inside compartments. I am interested to know what sort of actions you guys are going to take to avoid these sort o[censored]gly and dangerous situations for passengers. Thanks and regards, Vineeth Mohan.

No. Name Age Gender Status Coach Seat / Berth / WL No 1 H SINGH 26 Male RAC 22 Fare Details Distance : 1366 KM Ticket Fare : Rs. 880 Service Charge : Rs. 22.47 Total Fare : Rs. 902.47 * Finally i was allotted seat in G7 Seat no. 9. The collection for difference of fare of 115 was done by TT but receipt for the same was not given. Despite of repetitive reminders to the TT the receipt was not given. Later, in the morning TT was nowhere to be seen. Therefore, strict actions to be taken against such TT and the collected moey directly goes into their pocket stating the reason that person didnt travel. Kindly Take an action it to avoid corruption.

        Dear Sir/Mam, I traveled from Erode to Chennai in Rapti Sagar Express on August 2nd 2014, in S5, 62 there are no basic facilities in train like no water in Toilets, Lights and fans were not operating, Toilet condition is worst, Railway employees boarded in free ticket were drinking in the train and No TTR person came to check the ticket. This was one of the worst experience in the train. Please do the needful, I do need a explanation on this or i have to raise this next level.. regards, Dhanesh S

          Dear sir, I have booked a ticket from Rengali to Hawrah & Hawrah to Rengali on dated 04.07.14.. journey date is 15.08.14 (PNR no. [protected]) & return journey on dated 17.08.14 (PNR No [protected]) having transaction no [protected]IGX7176297 & [protected]IGX7173095 On my e generated ticket it has been mentioned that IRCTC service charges is Rs.11.24.             Hi, This is to bring into your notice that I booked two tickets under under a single PNR[protected] and unfortunately one of the them got confirmed and the other continued to be on wait list. I boarded the train and when the TTE came in for ticket check up I told him the status of my PNR and also asked him what should be done on this, is there any document you should provide me as a valid backup for the refund of my wait list ticket, he said "NO, you just file a TDR once you deboard the train". I said fine will do that and did the same as per process. Now TDR and IRCTC teams says I did not file the TDR on time and neglecting the refund. Neither they contact me nor have any contact number so that I can contact them. I am totally frustrated and need some help in taking relevant action against them. I book my tatkal ticket on 19th july but did not got my ticket booked, even money from my bank account has been deducted i got the msg of deduction on my mobile on that day itself.I don't know which transaction got money detection . But still it showing failed on the irctc website. So please refund my account. One month passed but still no response .

                  Respected Sir/Mam, My pnr num is [protected]. My case for tdr file has been regreted by irctc., giving the reason that i have travelled with that train. How could it be possible when, i am travelling from another train (because that train was late by more than 6 hrs), TTE has alloted my seat to another one without confirming the ID. means it is clear that TTE has taken bribe to the passenger to allot my seat. I send my mail with my fined ticket but my case has not been reopened again.I have send this mail with my mail id [protected]@gmail.com twice and with my registered mail Id many times, but my case has not been reopened yet by concerned department.                       Dear Sir/Madam, I had a confirmed eticket PNR no. [protected] for travel by 2AC coach in Train no, 12321 (Howrah Mumbai Mail) from Katni JN (Boarding at Jabalpur) to Mumbai CSTM for travel date 3rd August, 2014 The trains scheduled departure time at Jabalpur of 1755 hrs. At 0800 hrs on 3rd August the Indian Railway Train enquiry states that the said train has not yet departed from originating station (Howrah). The train is 14 hours late !! The departure for this train was 2nd August, 2014 at 2200 hrs. This meant the train would start this journey, leaving Howrah station by 12noon on 3rd August, 2014. This would mean rescheduled estimated arrival at Jabalpur station would be by 0500 hrs on 4th August, 2014 !! I immediately re-planned my going to Mumbai and cancelled my e-ticket on the IRCTC website, which accepted the cancellation and deducted Rs. 490/- from the refund amount (Settlement ID[protected] directly into my credit card account. As per the law in Railways, if a train is running more than 3 hours late, then for any cancellation of ticket, full refund shall be paid back to customer / traveller. I did write to IRCTC about this cancellation charges and have been asking them to verify the facts stated and refund me the balance charges, to which they have been giving me reasons for the online cancellation charges. If the law/rule states that full refund should be given for cancellation of ticket for train running delays of more than 3 hours, then where is the point of justification and reasons been given to me for levying the cancellation charges ? If the online computer system program is incorrect, then it is liability and responsibility of the IRCTC management to correct it and also to settle my claim. I wish that you take up this matter on my behalf and impress upon the authorities to refund me the dues. Thank you Sanjeev Khandelwal

                        Today we travelled by 12589 rapti sagar reaching secunderabad by 1610 hrs.
                        Lunch served in A1 coach ( Our berths 23', 29). Was too much mirchi, dal too much haldi, rice ic broken rice.
                        Food is uneatable. This is sme feeling by every one. Inclding TTE.

                          I had travelled from AHMEDABAD to pune on 1st of August 2014, I.e. On Friday by Durango express. Train no.& name-12297/PUNE DURONTO, SECOND AC COACH. PNR NO.[protected].SEAT NO A1-18. I am suffering from knee problem so I have to use western type of toilet. Train was to start from AHMEDABAD and there was sufficient time to clean the toilet but from the starting of journey, toilet was jammed and flush water was not getting cleared. Result of the same, commode was full of water within one hour of journey and dirty water was comming out of commode .I had to pass remaining journey upto Pune with so much of difficulty. There were mosquitoes also in the compartment which were not allowing to sleep I prefer journey by train for good facility. If we have to face such problem after spending so much of money, what is the meaning of preference ? Please look in to matter and please give attention to complaint . Yours sincerely KHYATI.P.                             I had booked a train ticket, through IRCTC, whose details are as below :- PNR No [protected] Shatabdi Express : Class CC Date of Journey : 31/12/2013 Howrah(HWH) to Malda Town (MLDT) Total passengers : 4 Cancelled 3 Ticket cancelled reason : train late by 5 hours. As per Railway rules, if ticket is cancelled on the pretext that the train was late for more than 3 hours, full refund is to be made. But IRCTC refunded me only 25% as applicable in normal case. Amount Refunded Rs 795 Amount to be refunded Rs 3180/- Shortfall to be refunded Rs 2385/-

                            I had made the complaint to their customer care on 16/01/2014. They replied that the matter is sent to the concerned department, but even after 6 months they have neither reverted back to me, nor made any refunds.

                              I booked an e-ticket from JUC to NDLS(Train no 18508) on 07/08/2014 ON THE INTERNET but the transaction failed due to system fault at the IRCTC website. The amount of money amounting to Rs. 482.48/- was, however, debited to my ICICI account . Their Failed transaction ID is[protected] dated 07/08/2014.

                                I have booked a ticket in ANGA EXPRESS (12254) for 06 th August 2014.But train has not arrived that day to Howrah station due to some reason and i have missed the train from there. IRCTC should not give the option while taking the ticket if train route has been changed for the day and should show some message for that.                                   I happened to travel in Okha Express (16338) on 31st from Calicut to Ahmedabad in B1 32 seat number which was a side upper. The chain to stop the train is fitted at the centre of this berth with two pointed sharp edges on sides. I got hurt many times while spending a day during the travel. It was impossible to use the berth without getting hurt. It still pains.                                     Sir, I had booked a e-ticket via IRCTC on 10th october 2013, but due to sudden change of weather I had to cancel the ticket, so I filed TDR for the ticket before Scheduled departure time of the train on the same day for refund. I got confirming email that TDR has been filed successfully. Now It has been about 10 months but I haven't been refunded the money. I tried to contact them via email and calls but they dont care to reply. The detail of the booked ticket is given below : "Booking details: PNR No [protected] Train No 12857 Train Name TAMRALIPTA EXP From HWH To DGHA Date[protected]". And TDR email response is also given here : "Dear Customer, With reference to your request for refund for PNR Number [protected] for reason 'Passenger Not Travelled.', we wish to inform you that your request for refund has been filed succesfully against Reference No: ekt[protected] and this case is being forwarded to the concerned Railway through TDR refund process" So I am requesting you to help me please.

                                      Today (6 August, 2014) I have booked tickets in Gujarat mail for ADI to BVI. it was showing availability as 257. As soon as I booked ticket I got my seat in waiting 118. Again I have opened IRCTC portal for cross check tickets available was still 257. I want my full payment back along with tax deducted and service charge taken.

                                      i have booked 8 tickets in SNSI to SC. it was showing avialbility as 415. As soon as i booked ticket i got my tickets in waiting 378, 379, 380, 381, 382, 383, 429, 430. Again I have opened IRCTC portal for cross check tickets available was still 415. I want my full payment back along with tax deducted and service charge taken.
