Amount deducted but ticket not booked, please refund the same:

Respected Sir/Madam

I have booked a ticket from Shoranur Jn (Kerala) to Hazrat Nizamuddin (New Delhi), on date 18.08.12 for the journey on 05.09.12 via Mangla Lakshadweep Express and made the payment through ICICI Bank Debit Card facility, the details of which are given below;
Transaction Amount : (INR) 1192.00
Transaction ref no: [protected]
The amount has been deducted from the account but the ticket has not been booked as the site replied that the server had timed out, and till date the amount is not credited on my ICICI Savings Bank Account.

Please consider my application and do the needful at the earliest. Also please confirm me the status.

    Hi,
    I am facing the problem as refund on cancelled tickets is not credited to my account even after 3-4 days.
    Bank customer care informed me that irctc has not given refund instructions to bank and irctc is not accepting this statement.

    I have cancelled a W/L ticket from delhi sarai rohilla to jammu pnr number: [protected] Date of Journey 12th Aug 2012 Ticket cancel on 13 aug 2012 receipt number:[protected].. As per irctc website the amount was refunded to ICICI payment gateway to bank of baroda account on 15 aug 2012 . However, it has not been credited to my bank of baroda account. Its been more than 3-4 day now. Please look into the matter.



    Did you get your problem solved? Please guide me how to register irctc complaint and on further proceedings.

      I have booked and e-ticket from Hatia (Ranchi) to Howrah in Hatia-Howrah EXP (18616) .But it was not successfully booked due to failed transaction. Also the money has been deducted from my account . But it is showing that no money has been received from the bank .What should be done in order to refund the money by cancelling the transaction.

      IRCTC — e ticket Failed transaction

      I have just tried to book my ticket with transaction ID : [protected]
      I have tried with SBI- ATM card.

      It was failed transaction but when I check my balance of ATM account, INR 469 (ticket cost) was deducted.

      Please..............Can you help me out in this case??

        Hai,

        I booked tickets in IRCTC website before one month.After that it has withdrawn 10rs for four times without my knowledge.This is a faulty and damn waste website.Dont ever book your tickets there.They are accessing our account without our knowledge.Pls be aware.Amidst processing fees they deduce this amount also....Instead it is better we can go directly and book tickets... Waste IRCTC.Poor service!!!

          Today (17/08/2012) I have done an online transaction to purchase a ticket on 11012 MAHALAXMI EXP from MIRAJ JN to THANE boarding on 18/08/2012 for PRAJAKTA JOSHI & KAVITA JOSHI. Unfortunately after the payment was made through SBI DEBIT CARD the error, "REDIRECT=https://www.irctc.co.in/cgi-bin/bv60.dll/irctc/booking/bankrespon... please send me the conformation mail.

              As i was booking my ticket from IRCTC online on 13th August,2012 around 11am to 12.30 am from my SBI VISA card vide no. [protected] and SBI Account Number [protected] Holder Name- Rohit Kumar Agarwal.My money deducted Rs.1896 from my SBI Account but my ticket not booked the ticket i was booking MAMMAR to HOWRAH the date of ticket was 28.11.2012 number of passenger is 4.As the IRCTC session expired the ticket not booked but my money deduct.
              I would be highly obliged i[censored] look above matter and refund my money in my SBI Account.Please reply me as early as possible

              Don't worry your money amounting Rs. 1896 will be refunded back automatically by IRCTC and shall be credited into your SBI Account within 6-7 days.

                In IRCTC online Tatkal ticket booking system I always getting message
                You are Permitted:
                1) Only 2 tickets between 08:00 Hrs to 10:00 Hrs per User ID.
                2) Only 2 tatkal tickets between 10:00 Hrs to 12:00 Hrs per IP Address.
                3) Only 2 tickets between 10:00 Hrs to 12:00 Hrs per User ID.

                sometime blocked my login id password and after sometime when finished all Tatkal tickets it works fine.
                I am getting invalid loginid password and then after some time it works fine, I have send number of mails to [protected]@irctc.co.in but nothing is happened.

                Also the system should allow to book tickkets at 10.00 am but it usually opens at 10.06 to 10.07 abd by that time 80% of tickets ware sold out.

                Since yesterday i am trying to book ticket through IRCTC.
                The SITE SEEMS TO BE OUT OF ORDER.

                The Premere Indian Site not working for booking tickets. ???

                Get good servers or good people to make those servers and networks . work effeciently.

                Keep it running, it hangs every time, in the early morning it seems that that purposlly shut their server to help the agent,

                Hence i request to look in to this matter & take immediate actions
                Hello sir..i booked the hyderabad express on 14.01.10 from erode to secunderabad but the train coming late (765 hyderababd express) not 1 hr or 2 hrs. acutal arrival time 9. am but it is coming 4.30 p.m nearly 7.30 hrs late..Plz take immediate action for this type of problem, Public getting inconvenience. In internet the timetable not been updated. in future to be avoided.

                Hi, It is a very funny thing that we get the below message on start up pf IRCTC:

                'Experience the new lightweight version of website during tatkal hours'

                But when we try to book a ticket, then we don't find this lightweight anywhere.
                All tatkal tickets are still booked through agents/very few people through IRCTC.Dont know whether this complaint will change anything or not, but I am just trying so that you can look into this matter.

                      I booked a e-ticket with PNR : [protected] under Tatkal Quota.
                      The status of passenger 2 (myself) was W/L 1 after Chart preparation. So i did not travel.

                      Later I booked a TDR. However railway refused to refund the amount for WL1 ticket.

                      Need help in getting refund.

                      i have trying make ticket today from guwahati to tundla throw irctc but amount 932 is debited my account and ticket is not made kindly please refund my amount my name is indra sarma.............and i have cancelled two tickets but i did not refunded into my acoount......pnr number........[protected] and [protected].........please refund me above three tickets amount

                      I had booked a ticket with Irctc. But I was not able to make travel. So, I had filed a TDR as per IRCTC procedures to get the due refund (some 50%). But It has been nearly 16 months and no action whatsoever has been taken. The date of journey was 27/09/2008. The PNR no is [protected]. The Transaction no is [protected] and TDR filed on 29/09/2008. I have made acomplaint regarding this to IRCTC, but they have not taken any action yet. Please help me for refund.

                      I had booked a ticket with Irctc from GHY TO TSK journey date was 5th of july in the name Mr. M KESHAN and K KESHAN. But I was not able to make travel because of bharat bandh and train was running late by 6 hrs. So, I had filed a TDR as per IRCTC procedures to get the due refund.                       This is with reference to PNR No [protected] from New delhi to Dhanbad on 15th Jan 2011.

                      The train no. 12382 was delay by more then 12 hrs on 15th Jan 2011 and i have not traveled on this PNR and filled the TDR on 15th Jan 2011 to get my booking amount back.

                      Still in refund status it is showing "Refund under process" and date not available.

                      As promised and by rule of IRCTC after filing the TDR you get the refund with in 90 days.

                      But in my case it has been more then 180 days. still i get email from IRCTC that refund is in progress.

                      Please, take necessary action to resolve this issue.

                      I have booked ticket for Delhi to Ranchi on dated 11 jan 2018, and after booking ticket was showing under process. After some time I received a call and that person told me that price of the ticket become more costly rupees 2000/- so u shall agree to pay more than your ticket confirmed otherwise same has been not booked.
                      I was not agree with him and my ticket not booked but amount from my account has been debited same day.
                      When I contact for reversal he told me that your amount credited in your account in 2 Working days, but My amount is still pending for reversal. So kindly do the needful at your end as earlier possible.

                        I am Deepak Raj from Bangalore; today i.e. 08th August 2012 @ 7:30 am, I had been to Yeshwanthpur,Bangalore Railway Station to pick my uncle & aunt coming from Hyderabad taking Garibrath. I parked my car at the railway station and demanded for a car parking token and person in charge advised that he would provide the token during exit. On exit, he asked me to pay Rs.20/- as a parking fee instead of the defined parking fee of Rs.10/- that too without a token and when questioned he was abusive but ultimately I could get a token from him and the token number is 4558 . Kindly consider this as a request to treat this as priority and ensure that we dont get to face such issues in future.

                          There is no coach stop indication / Mark in Thiruvallure Railway Station (Station Code: TRL), It is very difficult in getting into correct coach of Mysore- Chennai (Kaveri) Express/16221 at Thiruvallure Railway Station. And moreover there is no announcement of coach position

                          Kindly take some necessary actions by placing some boards by indication Coach Positions. Similar Issue is faced in Krishnarajapuram (Station code: KJM) Railwaystation earalier now it got solved.

                              Hello,

                              My following claims have been rejected by IRCTC whereas I have not travelled on account of the said TDRs. I am annoyed and disgusted by the deep rooted corruption that lies within Indian railways and wish to legally challenge the rejection of my TDR requested. Therefore, I wish to conduct a judicial enquiry after which the refund of the TDR amounts as well as compensation for the harassment as deemed suitable by the honorable count.

                              IRCTC Ltd. — Regarding cheque book

                              I requested for a cheque book nearly 2 months ago. Each time I call up and enquire about it, they keep saying I will get it within the next 7 days. I applied in the first week of december once and again, i came to dalhouise branch, kolkata filled the form there in January and again they told me that you will receive cheque book within 7 days and i till date waiting for it to come and have not yet received it.

                              IRCTC Ltd. — Fraud

                              I recently made an account in irctc.co.in hoping that I'll be able to book tickets without any trouble. Unfortunately, I undermined Indian system's traditional inclination towards flaws by having higher expectations. I tried booking tickets for journey from muzaffarpur to kolkata. First time they didn't debited money but the second time Rs. 1236/- was debited from my account even though the ticket wasn't booked. This shows that their transaction management lacks atomicity. Looks like they have hired true Indian Database Administrators, as well as Web Developers, who don't even know the meaning of ATOMICITY of a transaction, which is one of the prime reasons why Database Management System is taught.

                                      IRCTC is allowing Maestro debit card of SBI while doing train reservation. But while doing Flight reservation through IRCTC, Ms Laxmi is saying that

                                      "maestro card is not authorised from bank end right now.Kindly book your
                                      ticket through Net banking."


                                      i suppose the statement is not true. IRCTC being the same host for both air and flight ticketing, can not deny maestro debit card of SBI in Flight ticketing.
