Today (14/07/2012) I have done an online transaction to purchase a ticket for Rajdhani Exp from Delhi to Jammu City boarding on 15/07/2012 for Mr.Sunil Kak & Ms. Vaishali Kak. Unfortunately after the payment was made through SBI payment gateway, the error, "REDIRECT=https://www.irctc.co.in/cgi-bin/bv60.dll/irctc/booking/bankrespon... came up without giving me the confirmation of the payment and neither the ticket is generated.

I am really in emergency to go to Jammu but I don't know whether my ticket is booked now as well as whether money has been deducted from my account. Kindly respond to it quickly

    I was tried to book a ticket from the irctc.co.in website. I began my attempt at 11 AM. I got various errors:
    1. Could not log in.
    2. Could not retrieve train list.
    3. Some "200" error.

    Finally, at 12:40 PM, I could proceed to the payment gateway... and that failed after the payment went through (got an SMS saying that the amount was deducted from my account). And still no ticket. I ended up canceling my trip.

    The IRCTC online reservation site the the most useless site I've ever had the misfortune to use. Granted, we have a humongous population. Granted, the Indian Railways is the largest railway network in the world. But there are websites that handle higher volumes of traffic (including monetary transactions) much more smoothly. What the crap is wrong with this site, anyway? It's COMPLETELY USELESS!!

      Hello Sir, Madam,
      First of congratulations on implementing the New Tatkal Booking system online from 10 july. Today I was happy to use it .however there is big problem I observed in this system.

      I have tried booking the Tatkal ticket today and 2 transaction failed due to some banking technical problem and ticket was not booked at all.
      When I tried third time it is giving me an error that only 2 tickets can be booked per user id/per Ip address.
      Problem1-Due to failed transaction I lost my chances. So here the system is not really checking the booking status if it is really booked or failed.
      Problem2-When I failed on my machine I tried on other machine (which is in network) and there also system is giving the same error of permissible limit of tickets. Does that mean if there are 500 machines in office are in Network and ticket is booked on one machine then no other person in 500 people can book the ticket on their machine? If yes then it is big problem and need to b rectified ASAP.
      Please look into this issue.

        I had filed a TDR on 20-Jan-2012 for cancellation of Railway Ticket PNR No. [protected] from Sawantwadi Road to Mumbai Journey dated 20-Jan-2012. But till date status of refund is under process. I am regularly follow up with IRCTC authority by my mail id mohan.[protected]@rediffmail .com.


        Correspondence with them is as below

        Sir,

        The date of journey was 20-Jan-2012 from Sawantwadi Road to Mumbai. On that day i.e. 20-Jan-2012 I was in the office. In our office we are having biometric attendance system and attendance is recorded in ERP system, screen short of the same is attached for your reference.

        IRCTC (Railway Ticket) — Refund

        My name is RIcha Valechha (Female/19 years). I purchased e-ticket from Agency: Agarwal ticket D-1371/1, Indra Nagar, Lucknow-226016(Mob:[protected]) for journey from Lucknow to New Delhi (Date of Journey: 25/1/10; TrainNo: 2203/GARIB RATH EXP; PNR No: [protected]).

        Since the said train was late for more than 10 hours, I got the ticket cancelled and reached Delhi by another train as I had to board Garib Rath train for Mumbai from Delhi on 26/1/10 morning to participate in Inter University Tennis Finals. It is almost 4 months now that I am yet to receive refund amount for the above cancellation.

        I simply want to know whether we are really living in 21st Century.

        IRCTC (Indian Railways) — No refund for cancelled ticket

        Hi,

        I had a ticket with PNR no: [protected] which I had cancelled on[protected] through IRCTC. The booking and cancellation were both done from the same website. The refund status shows that refund has been made but my bank account still remains uncredited. The transaction ID for the same is [protected] and reciept number shown is[protected]. The refund date is being shown as[protected].

        Kindly look into the matter at the earliest.

            "Its over a month that i havent recvd my refund of an air ticket booked via air.irctc.co.in. That i cancelled due a stike called all over india on 28th may 2012. I applied for a refund process on the website and it prompted that it will be refunded in account in 4-5 working days. But now its over 45days i have not received my refund. Everytime I called their customer care they say please wait for another 3 to 4 days and this is being continued from 28th of may 2012. I am helpless now. Please please help me to get my refund. Its a large amount which is I am supposed to receive.

              my name is prakash kumar and i travelled in bihar sampark kranti on 7th of july in S 13 having my 4 reserved seats from hajipur to delhi when i entered the train 5 persons were sitting on my berths when i asked them to leave they said we are travelling for the next station and after train left sivan the boggie was like hell more than 150 people were travelling in the boggie and the journey became misreble.
              when waitlisted passengers are not allowed in the ac compartments then why they are allowed in sleeper class.
              please take some serious steps against this issue so that the journey should become comfortable for passengers who booked their tickets 4 month before the date of travelling.

                  We are not able to book even a single TATKAL ticket as IRCTC server is not allowing and it ends with error like SERVICE UNAVAILABLE. Please consider this request and make the website fast and secure (please dont allow travel agents to book infinite number of tickets) such that normal people will be much benefited.Thanks for understanding.

                    Most corrupted & M***** Ch** dept in India,I had tried several times to made ticket on IRCTC & with Railways but it always shows waiting & no reservation...all employees in IR & IRCTC are corrupted & stupid , but at station we got black tickets for the same in very high amount,I dont know what is goverment doing on the same.                         I have the honour to state that on 21.06.2012 while I was tried to book 01 E tickets on 21.06.12 vide my IRCTC login id "balantheni" for journey to be performed on 14th July 2012 from Gwalior to Chennai Central and choose the option for book my E ticket only if one lower berth is available consequently on the screen i have showed the message that "your ticket can not booked as you choose the option atleast 01 lower berth is available and questioned do you wish to continue press yes or press no. I was never wants to book the ticket without 01 lower berth so that i pressed no button on the screen but i have charged Rs. 513/- from my SBI account (A/C No.[protected]) vide transaction ID No.[protected] after that i was booked another ticket for the same destination vide PNR No. [protected] for journey to be performed on 15th July 2012 from Gwalior to Chennai Central as per Transaction ID[protected] and paid Rs.513/- through my SBI ATM. But i have not received my amount of Rs.513/- in my account which was deducted wrongly for the previous unbooked ticket. Hence please refund my amount of Rs.513/- in my SBI Account as soon as possible. i shall be thankful to you sir/ madam.

                          Dear Sir,

                          I am trying to book Tatkal tickets from my personal IRCTC ID, but error is coming which says "You are Permitted only 2 transactions between 8 AM to 10 AM per IP address/user ID"

                          Surprisingly the error statement is completely wrong as i have not booked 2 tickets between 8 to 10 even one time today.

                          How crazy IRCTC authorities working or implementing such things without confiriming problems in that, they should be able to recgonise which IP address or which usedID booked 2 tickets already only should get this error,

                          but surprisingly everybody getting who are trying freshly also, i want ask IRCTC are they really want to cooperate normail Public or Agents, beacuse this really a nasty thing to face by passengers who want to book only one ticket.

                          PLEASE WAKE UP IRCTC & Indian Railway Authorities.,

                          what are you doing.

                          Personal — IRCTC - booking

                          I am unable to book ticket on IRCTC. everytime it says "Sorry No matching trains found". I couldn't figure out the reason.
                          IRCTC Tatkal booking issue:
                          I have been trying to book tatkal tickets from my personal ID from my office. And I get the error message stating only 2 tickets allowed from an IP address! This is a very inappropriate restriction 'cos all institutions use NAT!

                          This needs to be fixed urgently.
                          We are not able to book tickets from 10 am to 10.30 am. Irctc is purposely blocking the users and allowing agents to book on that time. So many of peoples were affected due to this behavior.

                            I've booked my ticket through irctc PNR No:-[protected], my ticket get confirmed in RAC seat no(RS3-15).But in the chart Some other name was written with different PNR No:-[protected](both the seat in this PNR). but when i get PNR status via net it shows the seat no seat no(RS3-15).Plz. help me out

                              INABILITY TO UPDATE MY PROFILE

                              Dear Sir,

                              I have an IRCTC log in Account by the name vijayrao51 Tel No: [protected]. When I logged in to my Account and tried to buy a train ticket I received the message " Booking is not allowed as your Account has been suspended". When I made the complaint to make My Trip they generated a Reference ID[protected]. i subsequently received message from IRCTC to update my profile.

                              I have cancelled my AIR E TICKET'S ;[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected] from Jaipur to Goa vide IRCTC Transaction ID:[protected] on 14.06.2012 ,since then I am in touch with ITCTC via e-mail as well at their customer care center toll free number [protected] for refund .Bit till date neither the refund has been credited to my account nor they are in a position to commit a date by which the refund would be credited to my Bank Account.

                              As a last resource I request you to take up the matter with IRCTC so that I could get the refund.

                                    I had booked the following 2 tickets from Secunderabad to visakhapatnam by tatkal on 25-june- 2012 for the following reason:-


                                    I had initially booked by

                                    However the amount got debited immediately , but ticket was not generated. Neither there was sms confirmation nor email was sent. Infact, i am getting email today for this. ( seat no:43)

                                    Then, since time is running out and was deparate to get the ticket on the same train, i requested my sister in law to do the booking as my system was slow from her ID and got ticket booked with

                                    subsequently i called IRCTC on phone immediately, there was none to help and was advised by customer care to talk to Ticket Examiner on the train or give the ticket to some one and take money.

                                    In good faith , i asked TT to help, who washed off his hands, saying he cannot do such thing. I now have teh following to ask, why would i make 2 bookings for teh same train and same date and class. I have seen subsequently , railways alloted that berth to some one else . Hence, my request is since the seat to new passenger and railway got 2 ticket fare for teh same seat. I request to you to kindly refund 1 ticket fare in good faith, i have already paid excess money by way of tatkal and there was no way i could have got refund through my user account.
                                    Appreciate your earliest help in this regard.

                                    Railways have washed off their hands in this case and made money two times for 1 ticket/seat

                                    To whom so ever it may concern,

                                    This mail is in regards to two tickets booked which I have booked on 6-Nov-2009 for the journey on 16-Dec-09 . But till the date of journey onIy one ticket out of two was confirmed. While talking to IRCTC Customer Care Executive I came to know that to claim refund of one ticket I need to undergo their TDR process and by 90 days I will get the refund.

                                    I have done the process advise by CCE (IRCTC) but till date I have not received the refund it is almost 100 days. Also I have complain them via phones and email but no reply was given.

                                    This is to inform you that I Jai Prakash Chaubey was being being booked ticket fromTata to Renukut(Train no.8101) on dated 05 Aug 2010 and other ticket Renukut to Tata (Train No.-8102)on dated 06 Aug 2010 But during transaction my transaction did not complete and reduct Rs 301.00 in first case and in second case Rs 226.00 without book ticket. These ticket had been boocked from different user id.I am giving my transaction informatin (05 Aug 2010 POS PRCH[protected],[protected] and 06 Aug 2010 POS PRCH[protected] [protected].
                                    There for irequest to you please refund my amount shortly.

                                    these were cancelled and not refunded...

                                    i have booked two tickets through irctc website and later cancelled it on 16th august2014. The refund date for those tickets were listed as 18th august2014 on my irctc account but till now i haven't received any refund in my bank account.Inspite of repeated calls to the irctc customer care I haven't received any positive response.So, please find a solution to this as the ticket refund amount is 2620 rupees.The details of the transaction are provided below:

                                    I had booked Rajdhani train from Ernavalam(ERS) to Vadodara Station(BRC) on[protected], but due to the Gujjar protests in Rajasthan the trains were getting diverted from Panvel and were not touching Gujarat. I had filed a TDR for the same but only got half of the ticket amount .The ticket amount in all cost me 10020 and i was only refunded 4960, i.e half of the amount.
                                    We have booked a ticket in train no. 08798 durg premium sp from new delhi to raipur for dated 24th april 2014 (pnr no.[protected]). in this train tickets are booked only e-tickets. and once booked tickets can't cancelled the tickets. in meantime railway cancelled this train train due ti insufficient booking. and a new are published in naiduniya daily news paper this train cancelled due to insufficient booking and refund directly in the concering bank a/c.
                                    it is comlete liabilities of IRCTC to refund immediately because they withdraw the service.
                                    kindly take the appropiate action and refund the amount in my account with @24% interest

                                      No Refund after nearly a month.
                                      Reason for TDR :
                                      Irctc confirmed one ticket among family of 5. All other tickets were WL 1/2/3/4.

                                      I fail to understand the logic of confirming one ticket. The rule does not permit travel on waitlisted e-ticket. The authorities have not responded to my querry.

                                      Most of the time the querries seem to be answered by unknown( no name or...
