While booking train ticket through IRCTC website, the verification code didnt appear. Without the code I didnt book ticket and my travel plan is spoiled. I think this is one of the unncessary step to verification code image for booking. May be it is meant for restricting online users....

I received an e-mail from '[protected]@irctc.co.in'. I chose cash on delivery, so I am safe for now. Are these promotions genuinely from IRCTC group? What will be the quality of the products. They will get 499 Rs for the watch which costs around 2500 Rs (as per the e-mail). Please clarify

De-activated my IRCTC login after refiling TDR against a false enquiry

Sir/madam,

I have my login id in IRCTC and used it for the last 4.5 years.I had sent a mail for further investigation against the TDR.Inspite of investigation,IRCTC deactivated my account.Till date,i am having problem to book a single e-ticket.

Site of No Use; Never gets connected

This Site is of no use; then what's the use of providing the site-services to the Public.
Let them remove it.
Till last year it was OK;
Now the Site has become more of an AGENT-site rather than public.

whenever you log-in it never goes inside. (always displays msg "This page cannot be displayed")Then what's the use to common public. Remove it totally.

Verification Code

It is very disgusting to have verification code to be entered while booking Tatkal ticket in IRCTC website. The site already hangs between 8:00 to 9:00 and still to further increase the public chaos they have introduced verification code to be entered. The site was previously hanging till the BETA site came up. Instead of increasing the speed the authorities have further slowed down the process.

IRCTC website too slow

The website irctc.co.in for booking railway tickets is very very slow. it get's hanged most of the times and the transaction fails. But the amount will be deducted even though the seats are not booked.

Please rectify this problem soon. It takes hours to book a ticket!!...
