Tatkal Ticket Cheating

Not Sure if anyone is facing this issue., When you try to book a ticket (anyplace,any train), it shows Crazy waiting lists even 4 weeks before the travel date. I am sure why.,A train which goes daily having capacity more than 700 seats..
Okay but still Tatkal is option., so when i try to book Tatkal tickets., I think it open 8AM 2 days in advance of journey date., so when we check at 8 AM, www.irctc.co.in...

FAULTY SYSTEM THAT TAKES UP MONEY

This is regarding a faulty software system running at https://www.irctc.co.in. I am not sure if it was designed by one of Mamata Banerjee's illiterate relatives. You wont believe the deficiencies present in this website. Earlier itself, this system had the following issues:

i would like to know the exact rule for cancellation charge. i cancelled a ticket for two persons in AC of which I paid rs.140(TRANSACTION ID-[protected], DATED 4-01-11). TDR filed but no respond

I have purchased train ticket on 21/12/2010 from Angamaly to Bangalore through onlie. The cost of ticket was Rs.504/- But it was not confirmed ticket.. Given below is the details copied from the site of www.irctc.co.in. I had booked two tickets for my wife and son to travel from Sambalpur to H Nizamuddin on 31/7/2010 vide PNR No.[protected] thru www.irctc.co.in. The passengers could not travel due to some last minute emergency. I filed onlone TDR on 1st Aug 2010. Even after 150 days I am still waiting for my refund to be credited to my Bank Account.

Amazingly so, the IRCTC e-ticket booking looks to be becoming funny piece of software written by incompetent engineers. Here is the case I am facing now.
