My complaint is about the hidden charges of IRCTC..

Every time i booked a ticket from IRCTC the amount of 11.00 is automatically deducted from my bank account. & it happened 9 times since Jan 2011 in 2 months.

i have contacted to [protected]@irctc.co.in but there is no such reply from them.

      IRCTC E TICKT AGENTS CANNOT BOOK TATKAL TICKET BETWEEN 8 TO 9AM WHY??

      SIR,
      I AM A E TICKET AGENT I GOT THAT THE IRCTC AGENTS CANNOT BOOK TATKAL TICKETS AT THE TIME 8 TO 9AM. THIS IS NOT FAIR FOR THE AGENTS WHOSE LIFE IS DEPENDS ON ETICKETS. WE HAVE PAID THE AMOUNT THAT WAS ASKED FOR US FOR THE FRENCHISEE FOR THE IRCTC, ONE WHO DO THE FRAUD HE MUST BE PUNISHED BUT THIS IS WRONG THAT WE ALL BE PUNISHED FOR THAT, THEN PLEASE TRY TO CATCH THOSE PEOPLES WO DOES THAT FRAUDS, AND PUNISH THEM.
      WHAT ABOUT THOSE PEOPLES WHO CANNOT BOOK TATKAL TICKETS, WHO ARE ILLLITRATE, WHO DONT KNOW TO BOOK THE TICKETS ONLINE AS WELL AS CHILDS, WHO DONT HAVE CREDIT CARDS OR DEBIT CARDS OR ANY OTHER PAYMENT GATWAYS CARDS, WHO WORKS FOR THEM, DONT THEY HAVE RIGHT TO GOT THE TICKETS, YOU HAVE TO THINK FOR THEM, WHO WILL DO FOR THEM ....... AN E -TICKET AGENT....... & IF THEY WILL NOT BE ALLOWED FOR ETICKET TATKAL BOOKING THEY CANNOT HELP THEM
      ALL THE PEOPLES AS WELL AS AGENTS MUST HAVE THE SAME RIGHTS TO BOOK THE TATKAL TICKETS, BUT THE RULE SHOULD BE THAT -- BOTH HAVE TO BOOK WITHOUT ANY SOFTWARE OR ANY OTHER FAST BOOKING TRICKS. THEY COULD BOOK TATKAL ONLY BY USING IRCTC LOGIN WITH STEP WISE PROCEDURE, NOT FROM QUICK BOOK OPTION.
      THIS IS MY LEAGALLY REQUEST PLEASE THINK ABOUT THAT.......... AND IF THEY COULD NOT CATCH THE FRAUDULENTS THEN THEY ARE NOT DOING THEIR DUTIES FOR THE GOVT. OF INDIA AND THEY ARE RUNNING AWAY FROM THEIR DUTIES

      We are agreed to you. Why irctc do't understand with this step more than 2 Lacs agent became unemployed. So requesting IRCTC that Either allow us to make tatkal or Valid the W/L tickets in trains.
      i also very agree with u.

      customer is alredy face a lot problam

      and this rules more face difficultiy for custmoer

        Sir
        I was transacted with the IRCTC dated 17/1/11, transaction ID is[protected] and[protected], which is failed transaction of amounting Rs 2204/- each. My SBI Account has been debited two times with the amount Rs 2204/- each. after that dated 19/1/11 my account was credited for the same amount but after two days later dated 21/1/11 my accout again debited by Rs 2204/-. and I have complained with IRCTC again and again. assurance has been given by IRCTC but no action has been taken till date. This issue is so panic for me. Please help me for the refund of Rs 2204/- from IRCTC. SBI did not want to take any responsibilty for the same. I also complained with SBI.

          The irctc site remains down all the time. How are we supposed to cancel the tickets if we dont want to travel? I have lost my money twice only because the ticket could not be cancelled. These are so corrupt that they could not handle the requests. I am so mind rite now cause since last two days i am trying to book a ticket and cancel one. Does irctc has any answer here. Use good hosting - load balanced servers. Why would u make us miserable??

            I would like to know why there is a heavy cancellation charges levied on waitlist ticket. Consumer suffers by paying more for takal ticets with a hope that it will get through and again huge amount is spent by calling 139 to check the confirmation status. Can someone expalin what will be the loss for Indiain Railway or IRCTC to obtain more than 50% of ticket charge from us. It is the common man who suffers with this wait listed tickets. Why do you charge even for Waitlisted ticket when cancel??? Cancellation counter not available on Sunday, how do you expect us to cancel the same day? I hope concern authorities look into it and do the needful

              Hi,

              I am trying to login to IRCTC site between 8:00am to 8:15am, not able to login gives " Session Time out" and "page cannot display"
              I am trying to book normal 90 days booking.
              But not able to login at 8:00AM

              After 8:15 i am able to login.

              But 8:15 i am getting waiting list ticket.

              Can you all please help to login at 8:00AM in the morning So that i can login to the page and book ticket.

              Kindly log a compalint regarding the same.

              Please help me and reply to the same urgently.

                Dear sir on 9th nov after boarding the train and was sechduel to leat at 4:30 pm
                and the ticket was checked then was annoinced trainc is 30 mins late . then at 5 pm no annoucment
                then we all passgenger want to station master cabin he said the secd train was stalled at some station
                will take 30 more minite we waited and at 7 pm they announced train cancelled saince the tran connectind had derailed in betn and we couldnt leave .. they strated givening refund but since mine was e tickted they said to applay TDR on line wihic i did and after 90 days rejectd saying i travelled

                now i not the icket cost byt 500 Rs for my silent
                pl check and verfiry
                they think i travelled since the chart shows i travelled as the the checker chat by train was cancelled after boarding and we were deboardd

                    Worst customer Support provided by IRCTC and Shubh Yatra Service.

                    I applied for SBI Railway Card on www.irctc.co.in. They issue me Shubh Yatra Card. This is only membership card having no profit of saving Transation charges.

                    Making fool of customer. Government want to earn more from IRCTC Website.

                    Please be careful and donot apply for SBI Railway card and Shubh yatra card.

                      we tried to book train ticket by irctc website so, whenever we are trying to login morning 8:00am that time these irctc dogs website speed will very very Low. after book all tatkal tickets they will start to provide fast speed, irctc is really fully cheating.

                      do not waste ur time with these stupid irctc staff

                          Dear sir
                          I am a consumer of your bank since last six years. Since the issuing of ATM card I am unable to book my IRCTC eticket through your debit card. I made oral complaints for several times at SBI Deshlahara Complex Durg, (branch code 30347) but to my dismay every time I was replied that the issue would be resolved very soon. Today too I did the same but it remained unsolved.
                          If SBI. being the top bank in India, produces so poor service to its customers, which other bank we must rely on?
                          I hope the said issue will be resolved in time so that we can enjoy the facility of booking etickets for railways and airlines.

                            IRCTC — Refund of Train Tickets

                            Dear Sir,


                            I would like to complaint about the refund I am receiving from IRCTC's E - Reservation.

                            In normal across the counter tickets when a train is late for more than 3 hours, the refund is made in full after deducting a nominal amount.

                            But in case of e-tickets, I have been receiving only 50% amount. Can you clarify why is that happening.
                            I can give you the details of tickets for which I have received only 50% or less refund.

                            Kindly let me know why is that happening.

                                  But after one day i.e. 9 feb 2011again Rs 10 was deducted from my account showing "TO TRANSFER

                                  What is This?

                                  Indian Railway IRCTC — Unavailable between8 AM and 8:15AM

                                  while we try to book Tatkal ticket in Online, the IRCTC system is always displays as System Unavailable message, or pages loads, loads, loads……..from 8AM to 8:15AM sometimes till 8:30AM or page can not be displayed error during Wednesdays

                                  However, if we ask any agents to book tickets, they were able to easily book Tatkal tickets.

                                  What is happening? Why Tatkal booking allowed for Agents when a common man finds diff to book.

                                  Indian Railway very well know that There will be heavy traffic during this period, then why The system were not at all improved.

                                  Generally, if the webpage has more images and pictures, it takes more time to load. Indian Railway is a non profitable govn organization with respect to its passenger service. Why there are having loads of adv in this page. if this site is a simple pages, it will help lot to load the system for min reuirments. The pages should be lightest

                                  This is happening even for all my friends. Although my internet bandwidth is 1mpbs why we are not able to see even login pages or “System unavailable” errors. Indian Railway officers helping for agents to make money. common man is suffering here lot.

                                    IRCTC MEANS FOR EASY ONLINE BOOKING OF INDIAN RAILWAY TICKET. BUT IT IS WORSE THAN INDIAN GOVERNMENT CORRUPTION WAY. I AM MEMBER OF IT AND JUST TODAY I WAKE UP EARLIER IN MORNING TO BOOK E-TICKET TATKAL ON 8:00 AM. I JUST LOGIN ON 7:45 AM BUT WHEN THE TIME TICK ON 7:55 AM IT START THEIR REAL WAY. SITE WAS HANG OR DID NOTHING FOR FURTHER PROCESS. NOT EVEN LOGIN AFTER RESTART. I HORRIBLE TO KNOW THAT. EVEN THIRD PARTY SERVICE IS SO MUCH CORRUPTION. IT IS BETTER TO WAKE EARLIER AND STAND IN LINE FOR MANUAL TICKET BOOKING IN RAILWAY STATION. I HAD BOOK E-TICKET FOR MY IN-LAW WHO ARE FROM DUBAI AND SENIOR CITIZENS, NOW THEY WILL SAY IT IS BETTER TO STAY OUTSIDE INDIA LOOKING INTO SUCH CORRUPTION........

                                      Please let me know to whom I should reach out to regarding the unsatisfactory reply from customer support department of IRCTC. I have raised numerous requests regarding a non-payment of a ticket cancellation but I have never been provided with a satisfactory response which mention a particular date by when I will receive my refund.

                                      I have cancelled an e-ticket on 02-Feb-2011. Payment was done using internet banking of Axis bank while booking these tickets. Till date I have neither received any refund amount nor any intimation on when it will be credited into my account.

                                      I can see on IRCTC website that refund instructions has been given to the bank but I have not received the amount as yet. Details of the instructions (receipt number and date) given to the bank are not so reflected on the IRCTC website hence I can not even follow up with the bank for the refund amount.

                                      Also, I would like to bring to your notice that refund for another e-ticket cancelled on 03-Feb-2011 has been credited into my account on 05-Feb-2011. Please explain why refund for a ticket cancelled later is credited into my account and for the one cancelled earlier has not been credited till date.

                                      Despite umpteen number of calls and emails to the customer care, I have not even been provided with any specific date by which I should receive the refund.

                                      Despite paying the service charge if the service level agreement is not met then it is IRCTC is responsible for it.

                                      This is the most pathetic experience I have had with the IRCTC and would not recommend anyone to transact with them, as they are not transparent in refund procedure.
