Respected madam
myself MISS UPASANA MISHRA a student of C.I.F.E. (ICAR-INDIAN COUNCIL OF AGRICULTURAL RESEARCH) MUMBAI, was on field training in ANDHRA PRADESH for fews days and was unaware of dat place and language. After training, while returning from A.P. to Mumbai we (me and my friend, Amruta Shete) booked a ticket from Samalkot junction to dadar(mumbai) on 29th Aug. 2010 in KONARK EXPRESS in 2nd A.C. and was wait listed for 2 and 3. we were frequently checking our pnr status but it showed that chart was not prepared. so we left for the station from our hostel in kakinada to samalkot. It was late midnight about 1:00 O'clock when train reached, the haulting time of the train in that junction was only 1 min. so we got into the train without wasting a single minute. after that a TT came into the train and checked the status but it was still waiting. Without listening a single word to us he threw our luggages outside the train. "SIR WE ARE UNKNOWN TO THIS PLACE ONLY 2 GIRLS PLEASE ARRANGE A SINGLE SEAT TO US, WE'LL ADJUST EVEN IN 3RD A.C. OR SLEEPER, WE ARE READY TO GIVE EXTRA FINE." we cried like anything but he didnt listen to us and threw our luggage outside. after that the train started leaving and we were thrown outside of that moving train, then we ran like anything and reached the general boggie however we climbed in that running train because of some good coolies who helped us to give us the luggages. the whole night we cried and suffered. Mam, it is unfortunate that we couldn't see the name of that TT. The next morning some good TTs came and helped us they also told us that many seats were vacant in A.C. boggies the last night. they gave us 2 seats in 3rd A.C.

Mam, kindly find out the name of the TT who has tortored us both physically and mentally. mam our parents are also trying very hard to find out his name and register a complain to you. Mam please take required action against him so that we shall remain ever grateful to you.

    Today (20/10/2010) I have done an online transaction to purchase a e-ticket for tomorrow date[protected] in tatkal quota for gowthami express from rajahmundry to secunderabad. Unfortunately after the payment was made through SBI atm cum debit card payment gateway, the error, "REDIRECT=https://www.irctc.co.in/cgi-bin/bv60.dll/irctc/booking/bankrespon... came up without giving me the confirmation of the payment and neither the ticket is generated.

    This is really embarrassing situation and IRCTC is expected to help me at the earliest with the ticket if the payment is already confirmed at their end. If not refund the same amount.

    Expecting a reply as soon as possible.

    You can go and see your irctc booked ticket if ticket is not there then amount will be send back to you in four to five working days automatically

        Hi,

        I tried booking ticket through irctc official website.

        When I select "SBI Debit card" as mode of payment, this is re-directing to the site "https://securepg.fssnet.co.in/pgway/gateway/payment/payment.jsp?PaymentID=...

        This site is asking for PIN number along with all other information.

        Please treat this as high priority issue and save SBI customers from this trap.

        its is banks payment gateway vendor wesite. irctc redirects to payment gateway for processing. It is not a phifising website of bank/irctc website.

          hi,

          i have booked a tkt(PNR no[protected]) to travel from Krishnarajapuram to Tenali(TEL) on 24th sep 2009 and i did no travel, so i filed a tdr on 29th sep 2009(transaction id:[protected]) and i have been pursuing this for almost a year and the money is not yet refunded. i have registered complaints on the forum as well as with irctc with no use.

          I am having a feeling that the system of complaints(both consumer forum as well as irctc) is not working,i am not concerned of the money i am supposed to get, what i am concerned is irctc is providing this feature of tdr but i dont get the meaning of putting such a feature and the complaints not getting solved.

          i feel the railways has to find a better way of noting which of the passengers have traveled and who have not traveled so that any corruption at the TC level can be avoided.

          IRCTC — Full refund needed

          How fair is it that IRCTC debits me an amount of INR 872.42 and credits me back just INR 857 for an error in their side?

          I was trying to book a ticket online on 3rd of this month and I got an error during the transaction. In case of the transaction error I believe it is only fair if you credit me the entire amount(including the service charge) because the damn transaction has not happened as yet. It is not some cancellation where you are deemed to withhold a certain charge.

          IRCTC — TDR Status after 9 months

          I have filed a TDR for the the train cancelled by railways at last moment.
          After filing the TDR within 2 days the status became Admin approaved but till date refund didn't happened... I have send repeted mails on [protected]@irctc.co.in and [protected]@irctc.co.in but of no use...

          Following are my details as per IRCTC website...

          Reason For TDR : Train Cancelled.
          TDR Status : Admin Approved
          Reference No : ekt[protected]
          TDR Filing Date : 17-Jul-2008
          Refund Status : Refund under Process
          Refund Date : Not Available
          Refund Amount : Rs.0.00

          IRCTC — TDR money not refunded yet 8 months has been passed from journey date.

          I booked a ticket in Shatabdi Special from Lucknow to New Delhi PNR no [protected].
          This train was delayed by 13 Hrs. So I did not travell.
          Even I was not able to cancell the ticket as my ticket was eticket and chart were prepared.
          I called IRCTC customer care and they told me to file a TDR against this PNR no and your money will be refunded.

          Although my TDR request was approved around 8 months back, yet I have not got my money refunded since these 8 months.
          I made telephonic calls several time and mailed IRCTC.
          But they did not give me ever a satisfactory answer. They always told as soon as they will get money refunded from Indian Railways, they will refund me.
          I has wasted lot of time and money in tracking my refund process since these 8 months.

          IRCTC — TDR amount short

          I am a sub agent of IRCTC. My Principle agent is Flight Raja Travels. I filed TDR (not traveled) for PNR No. [protected] on[protected]. The price of ticket was Rs.712 but I was refunded only Rs.267 only which is not 50% of ticket price. I talked to IRCTC Customer care and they said that only principle agent can proceed for this issue. So I told to Flight Raja Travels to write a message to IRCTC about this matter and they have sent an E-mail to IRCTC on[protected] but I have not get any reply from IRCTC till date.

          Please take any action and help me.

              Dear sir,

              Inspite of the repeated complaints regarding the tatkal ticket on irctc, there was'nt any action from the concerned authorities. All the complaints are falling into deaf ears. IRCTC --day by day increasing its efforts to slow down the booking process for public as against its agents. At 8:00 AM the site becomes very slow and page to page change over is very difficult. Now IRCTC introduced further trouble by incorporating "verification code". Even after getting the page with great difficulty the image does'nt showup. Inspite of the repaeated requests for new image it will not turn up and only shows blank. and without this further proceeding is not possible. Why all this crap. OK,irctc may say this is to avoid false booking or some bla bla bla. But still even in that case also it shall not appear during 8:00AM to 9:00 AM which is a rush hour. During this period verification code is only a trouble creator to the public.

              I request authorities to please consider my plea. The much awaited question of automatic time refreshing shall be incorporated by IRCTC in view of the trouble public face due to this.

              Yes, I am agree this complaint...Because of this verification code, we are not able to book a ticket by the time of tatkal booking...The IRCTC should take an action for this issue, ,
              Really this implementation is a big trouble while booking. Already page loading will be very slow and even after everything comes up getting upto success page getting rid of all such hindrance, huh like Maria landing the Queen land.
              I am facing the same problem...
              IRCTC need to improve their susytem... In this case old version was better... atleast I was able to book tickets properly...
              To add to above complain I would like to say that IRCTC need to increase session expire time... many time while I wait for next page (because of slow server it takes lot of time) 'Session has expired' message appears... I need to login again and wait for next page to come... it's crap and useless...
              I agree with this complaint. I am trying to book a tatkal ticket since last 8 to 10 days. I have faced the every log in broblem one could come across on any given time on any website, during the rush hour of tatkal booking, 8 am to 8:30 am. After my repeated trials the page doesn't show up, if at all it shows up it is not active, the processing of the page ends up into logging off from the site due to the extra time it has taken. Now because of all this junk happening to you regularly one could only doubt these hang ups are all created and are not real but a planned barrier just to keep a common man getting the booking from this site. IRCTC athourities please do something so will be able to use this usefull site for our easy travelling needs.
              and now another restriction.. we cant quick book b/w 8am to 9 am.. the only slot where one sane person would be using the feature.. that is to skip 100 pages to book a single ticket with verification image loading crap!
              Irctc you are no more than a !
              I too agree with the complaint. I doubt, irctc really want to stop people from booking online tickets. Then only they can sell it out to some travel agents and all, for getting commission. Nowadays, even small travel services have very good and efficient online booking web applications. but indian railway, being the biggest public sector firm in india, doesn't have one. its really shame on indian railway. stop the tie up with the irctc and help the passengers...
              Scrap Verification code..plese remove it
              Verificiation Code is a nightmare for tatkal booking.
              There is no way to pass this stage as the image itself is not loading even after half an hour waiting time.

                I travelled in train no 2920, malwa expresson 11 september'2010 from Jammu twai to New delhi with my family. I asked to attender for providing bed sheets. He told me very very arrogantly that bed sheet for delhi passangers are not allowed as per instruction given his contracter. I simply told to give me complain book. he again arrogantly told me to meet guard for these things. I don't know what is the procedure in Malwa express because i have travelled more than too many times a distance that very less of this travell but every time i used all facilities. Have IRCTC given some special freedom to malwa express or any rules for that.? Is IRCTC has not charged for facilities ..........??????

                    I, Mr. Dipak Sen booked an Confirmed E-Tkt on 131-Up / SDAH MFP Fast Passenger from Sealdah to Durgapur as on Journey date[protected] against PNR No. [protected] and Trasaction ID : [protected] from my a/c of IRCTC on line Tkt reservation system. Further my Booking status : Confirm; Coach : SL1; Seat No.: 11/WS. But to my surprise, at the time of boarding in the train, I found that 'There is NO Reservation Coach/ portion of a Coach whre I can get my Reserved seat to do the journey. I also informed the matter to the On-duty Guard of the Train, but found a more helpless condition of the person who informed me that 'The said train is running with ONLY GS Coaches and No Reserved Coach or porion of a Coach to find my Seat against which I booked the Confirmed Tkt from IRCTC. The Guard, certified the fact on my Electronic Reservation Slip with his signature & date with the endorsement " as per VG, all GS coach".

                    Now, as a result of the above situation , I had to take a lot of Tension, time loss and Pain to reach to my destination, i.e., Durgapur by alternate means making huge unexpected expenditure and moreover I had to suffer a lot in respect of my Service by not being able to report on Duty prior an All India Strike Day having my responsibilities of being an Executive in an India Govt. Enterprise.

                    Therefore, I do hereby request you to do the following at the earliest, please.
                    1) Refund my reservation amount for which I was not provided any Reserved seat against my booking.

                    2) Intimate me the Reason behind such an unexpected, unwarranted harrassment with an bonafide passenger on 'Indian Railways'.

                    3) How the IRCTC authority is going to Compensate towards my 'LOSSES' in respect of Money, Time and above all damage to my Service due to the above stated situation.

                    I expect that, the Concerned Authority would respond to my Genuine complaint within a reasonable and justified time and take the Proper measures to Compensate the Victim of 'non-compliance of Promised services after taking payment for the same'

                    Railway — Reservation Coach not available in Train

                    On dated 04/11/2008 Train No 2ALH Amritsar to Hisar Neither having any Sleeper Class Coach nor any alternate. On the spot I hire a texi because my wife can not travle in sitting condition. My total extra expenditure due to railway Rs 92 Reservation + Rs 1700 Texi Charge = 1792.

                      My IRCTC User ID "rintumisra" hasbeen blocked by IRCTC with cause of wrong/fake TDR filing.

                      But my TDR was valid/ correct as the Train 5661 RNC-New Alipurduar Exp, which I was travelling on 7th August 2009 from Ranchi & was scheduled to reach Pakur on 8th Aug 2009, was diverted through other route instead of going to Pakur, which was my destination because of an accident happened in Pakur station on 7th Aug 2009.

                        I was trying to book 5 tickets online from Guwahati to Kolkata on 25th august for journey date 1sep on Garibrath. But after payiing the money through HDFC internet banking,irctc screen get refreshed automatically and showed some gateway error.But tickets are not confirmed. I called IRCTC they said transaction has been failed so money will be refunded with in 3 days, in the mean time i have to book again. But to my horror while i am trying to book 2nd time, after money has been transfered by SBI DEBIT cum ATM to IRCTC, sesion login fails, again my tickets are not confirmed. Again i call them they can't say anything. I afraid my money will not be refunded by IRCTC. What should i do to get back my money?

                              I am User of IRCTC past 2 year, i have filed wrongly TDR once time. in feb 2010.about that i have send an email also to IRCTC asked for rectify this error. After 6 month they deactivated my user id. i have booked lot of ticket in my user id and want to cancel some eticket but how can i cancel please help me out.                               IRCTC RAILWAY — no electric current in socket for charging

                              there is no electric current in all sockets of coach no C3 of pune hyderabad shatabdi exress for last 15 days
                              so no one can do charging of phone and laptop and can not do any office work while sitting in railway

                                I booked a ticket through IRCTC portal on 18th of august in sleeper class from Delhi to Jaipur. The delivery time is supposed to be max 3 days. Its 23rd today & the ticket has not been delivered yet. My travel date is 25th of August & now i want to cancel the ticket, as my another ticket in AC compartment got confirmed, but as ticket has not been delivered I am not able to get it cancelled & if i go tomorrow to get it canceled, they will deduct 25% from the ticket. Please help. Also I tried calling up IRCTC people & also written them a mail. No one picks up the call in any of the numbers provided on the website & they don't even respond to mails.

                                    This has reference to your reply pertaining to deactivation of my user Id - *****. In your reply, you have stated that my id has been deactivated due to false filing of TDR.

                                    In this regard, i wish to state that with respect to PNR no: ******** and Transaction ID No: *********, i filed a TDR. Though, i could not travel on the ticket, while filing for TDR on April 08, 2009 I wrongly mentioned the reason as “Wrongly charged by TTE” instead of “Passenger not traveled”. Immediately, on the same day, i informed [protected]@irctc.co.in (through my email dated same date) regarding the said inadvertent error.

                                    With regard to all other TDRs filed me, i, hereby, confirm that the passengers for whom it is booked, never travelled in those tickets. It is strange that IRCTC has not analysed the possibility of the concerned TTE of the train not marking "Not Joined" (NJ) in his chart against the name of the passenger, who actually not travelled, (for whatever reason).

                                    It is not fair that you have not given me any opportunity for being heard (not followed the principle of natural justice) before blocking my user ID. Thus, you denied me the privilege of booking and cancelling tickets, without a valid reason.

                                    Further, after deactivation, i created a new ID anandsracs to book tickets. The new ID was also been deactivated. Thus, you are denying me my right to book tickets through online for no reason.

                                    As mentioned in my previous mail, while touts are allowed to exploit the online reservation, genuine travelers are being harassed by IRCTC.

                                    Considering the above, i would request you to bring the matter to the notice of concerned officials to reactivate my user id and allow me to book tickets. Else, i would be forced to take a legal action.

                                    I would further request you to provide me the name and details of concerned officials, who could help me in this regard.

                                    Some one used my e-mail.i.d. to book e rail ticket in irctc login. please stop the user I.D. (birju_234).tatkal.

                                    a mail was received from irctc that you have created two user ids which i against the laws and hence it has been blocked

                                    in this connection i have mailed to them that my id rohmal is solely for my personal use and i m not interested in any commercial use. I m well established business and i m not at all interested in any such illegal activities of railways.

                                    if at all they want to block the account why cant they block the accounts of agents who just misuse the site and carry on illegal activities of tickets.

                                    i had also told in my mail that irctc people can just visit my place and confirm whether any such misuse of railway tickets is done or not.

                                    till today no action has been taken from their side and my login id rohmal which is solely for my personal use is still blocked and giving me trouble since i cant book ticktets for travelling for my business purpose.

                                        I did not receive any reply regarding my explanation to your accusation of Fraudulent TDR/your one-sided action of disabling my ID, even after 4 days. I called up IRCTC helpline and they said the ID related issues will not be replied before 1 month.

                                        Such callous disregard for customers/customer service cannot be tolerated in this day and age where many companies are fighting for valuable customers.

                                        I am going to take up this matter in every online forum, Under Right to Information Act and in Consumer Courts:
                                        a) Against IRCTC (for disabling my ID in a one-sided without notice/without calling me up for clarification, for not responding within time)
                                        b) Against Indian Railways (For rejecting my valid TDR claim).

                                        I am an angry customer, and I will channel my anger with the aim of improving customer service.

                                        1) Regarding TDR: Actually I should ask the reverse question - Why was my TDR rejected ?

                                        I saw my TDR was rejected some 4-5 months ago, I did not have patience/energy to reply & follow up with additional information, for sake of Rs.180. So I left the matter.

                                        Now that you have poked the issue, please listen to me.

                                        I wanted to travel on 24th October 2009 night from Chandigarh to Delhi by Kalka mail. In my hurry, I did not see that the departure time of the train is 01:10 am, which means I have to book the ticket on 25th October 2009. I first booked my ticket on 24th October 2009 by mistake (PNR: xxxxxxxxxx). Please see ticket attached. The date of booking is: 06 October 2009.

                                        I realized my mistake on 24th October 2009 afternoon (Train had already left previous midnight), and immediately booked another ticket for same train on 25th October 2009 (PNR: yyyyyyyyyy). Please see 2nd ticket attached. The date of booking is: 24 October 2009.Please verify with Indian Railways, whether passenger travelled on 25th October 2009/PNR yyyyyyyyyy).

                                        I had a connecting flight booking on 25th October 2009 in the morning at Delhi Airport to Hyderabad. Please see flight ticket attached. Please verify with airlines whether passenger travelled on this flight or not.

                                        I had another connecting train ticket on 25th October 2009 from Hyderabad to Bangalore. Please see train ticket attached. Please ask Railways to check whether passenger has travelled on this train or not.


                                        2) The one-sided/arrogant manner in which you have decided I am a fraud user and disabled my ID makes me furious.

                                        Have you bothered to check my ID/ticket booking/TDR history, before deciding I am a fraud user ?

                                        My ID is active since 2006.

                                        I booked at least 70-80 tickets so far.

                                        I currently hold 4 (future date) tickets on my ID. The manner in which you blocked my ID, makes it difficult for me to take ticket print out/cancellation.

                                        I filed 4 TDRs earlier, all of which were accepted and money refunded.

                                        Even the TDR in question (PNR: xxxxxxxxxx) is valid - You can see from my tickets that I travelled on the next day.

                                        Either Railways hasn't checked records / TTE made an error / TTE allowed another person to travel and marked my ticket as 'Passenger Travelled'.

                                        Since you decided to block my ID one-sided, will Railways suspend the TTE first, without giving any notice/memo/asking for explanation ?

                                        I want to pursue this with Consumer Court.

                                        3) Who do you think loses by disabling the ID ?

                                        Is it me ? Probably not - I have other means of travel, other means of booking railway tickets (Railway counters/Agents)

                                        Probably IRCTC is going to lose revenue - Have the policy-maker who made this policy thought about it ?

                                        They blocked my IRCTC id, so bound to loose money as by this week I had to cancel tickets.

                                        There has to be some solid mechanism to avoid such inconvenience and injustice from Govt.
                                        we all know what indian railways TTE are like. They are just behind money everyday. No big deal if they sell your seat and mark as you present..

                                        I think Indian Railway should come with some serious solution to it, where frauds get penalised, but no truthful TDR should be rejected.

                                        I'm also got into the same situation. My irctc account got disabled today, ( noted when i tried to login for printing my e-ticket ). I am un-able to login to my account now. There was just one mail communication about the false TDR request and IRCTC just blocked my account!!!

                                        There should be some mechanism to avoid this kind of inconveniece to the customers. Something like TTR should only be able to cancel the booking from customer if he's not shown even after 3rd station ( or may be after 100 km ) from the boarding point. He should be only be able to cancel the ticket if the customer is not able to board the train. It seems like TTR is allotted my ticket on that date to some body else and marked as I've travelled on that day !!!

                                        This action of just de-activating the account without clarifying the reason of the incident, is not good one as it causes inconvenience to the people of India. There has to be some strict vigilence and control over the TTR's actions, rather putting unwanted actions on the customers.

                                        Please take this as serious and put some process to avoid this.

                                        I have also faced the same problem. I am a respectable Oil PSU employee and the ticket in question is of worth Rs. 100 only. How can IRCTC block my ID without assigning any reason ? I am ready to take up the matter to the Court if required. Please find my fruitless communication with these people:

As you are aware of the general practice followed in Indian Railways, the TT allots the seat of the passenger not traveling to some other traveler. Hence, it goes on record that the person had traveled though physically it is not true. In this case, the same thing might hold good.                                         It would be very helpful if you may take up the matter with the concerned authorities and re-activate my ID as I am facing gross inconvenience because of this step.

                                        I am also facing the same problem. My user id is alok_dipti. IRCTC deactivated my account.I have already 3 outgoing future tickets, out of them I have to cancel one.
                                        They wrote that I filed false tdr but this was never the case.
                                        I already send them mail several times but they didn't replied neither take any action.

                                        I faced the same problem.
                                        I filed a RTI in pune Division
                                        And I will be filing a Suit in consumer court as soon as i get the reply from RTI
                                        The RTI officer has already told me what reply i would get.
                                        I would file a class action case against IRCTC and Indian Railway if you people support me.

                                        My IRCTC account is also disabled without any prior notice its so rude, if account is in thier hands, they are behaving like anything(IRCTC).They should ask for reason for filling the TDR and if not satisfied should disable account with proper evidence. Govt is also encouraging them instead of stopping so.
                                        Now the customer care number don't work and if it works its always busy.
                                        II am trying to contact but I am always failed, any body know's the any other point of contact either PH No or mail ID,
                                        Callous IRCTC officials deactivated my user ID also without following principle of natural justice. My email dated Aug 30, 2010 to IRCTC officials are reproduced below. Not yet received any response from them. If some one is ready to take any legal action, i would support them.

                                        This has reference to your reply pertaining to deactivation of my user Id - *****. In your reply, you have stated that my id has been deactivated due to false filing of TDR.

                                        In this regard, i wish to state that with respect to PNR no: ******** and Transaction ID No: *********, i filed a TDR. Though, i could not travel on the ticket, while filing for TDR on April 08, 2009 I wrongly mentioned the reason as “Wrongly charged by TTE” instead of “Passenger not traveled”. Immediately, on the same day, i informed [protected]@irctc.co.in (through my email dated same date) regarding the said inadvertent error.

                                        With regard to all other TDRs filed me, i, hereby, confirm that the passengers for whom it is booked, never travelled in those tickets. It is strange that IRCTC has not analysed the possibility of the concerned TTE of the train not marking "Not Joined" (NJ) in his chart against the name of the passenger, who actually not travelled, (for whatever reason).

                                        It is not fair that you have not given me any opportunity for being heard (not followed the principle of natural justice) before blocking my user ID. Thus, you denied me the privilege of booking and cancelling tickets, without a valid reason.

                                        Further, after deactivation, i created a new ID anandsracs to book tickets. The new ID was also been deactivated. Thus, you are denying me my right to book tickets through online for no reason.

                                        As mentioned in my previous mail, while touts are allowed to exploit the online reservation, genuine travelers are being harassed by IRCTC.

                                        Considering the above, i would request you to bring the matter to the notice of concerned officials to reactivate my user id and allow me to book tickets. Else, i would be forced to take a legal action.

                                        I would further request you to provide me the name and details of concerned officials, who could help me in this regard.

                                        IRCTC — DEACTIVATION OF USER ID CHARGING FALSE BLAME

                                        Dear Sir,

                                        My IRCTC user ID: railsourav is blocked blaming that I have made a fraudulent claim of TDR on ticket PNR no [protected]. The ticket was from Barauni to Howrah on 04.10.08 for my wife, Mrs. Aparna Das.She had to reach Howrah on 05 th and accordingly came station on 4 th oct night. But the train was on 12:01 AM and hence her booked train left barauni station previous day. She realized her mistake and requested TTE for a seat. As seats were available, he charged suitable penalty and gave her a berth in 2AC with manual receipt. Afterward, I filed for TDR for the ticket of 04.10.08 and after a long period of 2 years, I am blamed with a fraudulent claim.

                                        I strongly protest against the blame on me. If Mrs. Aparna Das, my wife, had traveled on 04.10.08 12:01 AM, how is it possible for her again to travel on the same train very next day, which you too can check from your data. If somebody else is traveling on her name on the train she missed, then it is a fault from the end of rail authority and I should not be charged for that.

                                        My user ID is created on 2003, and I am consistently using your services for years accounting transactions of more than Rs. 2-3 lakhs. During these hundreds of transactions, I was loyal to IRCTC rules and bindings all the time. I am still having 5 e-tickets with me which I am yet to travel.

                                        I bring this to your notice that the selected site ADHIYAMANKOTTAI does not comes under the advertised site at S.NO 141.                                         I think there is no mechanism for sudden deactivation of irctc online account. Today(April 20, 2011) my account 'hmr1967' has been deactivated under the reason of false TDR worth Rs 100/- (Sept 12, 2010) without any intimation. When I contacted the customer care I was treated like a criminal as I had (supposedly) filed a false TDR. In spite of repeated requests to send me the process for payment of Rs 100 or Plus penalty or atleast sending of printout of future tickets no reponse. It is shocking that no customer complaint settlement mechanism is in place at IRCTC. Who is responsible for the loss of ticket charges and penalty to be paid . I am travelling tomorrow(April 20, 2011) and next week with my family and very difficult to get tickets even in Tatkal. Will some one from irctc reply to my mail id hitesh.[protected]@hotmail.com and help. Thanks.

                                        IRCTC — Not able to Book tickets in spite of the suitable period

                                        We are trying to book the reservation tickets but we are unable to do so as we get the error "The Dates given were outside ARP"

                                        This is resulting in waiting reservations which could have been confirmed.
