Hi, I have filed my TDR online for Ticket PNR No : [protected] on Dated: 22/10/2014.The tickets details is as follow : PNR : [protected] Travel Date :22/10/2014 Source : Bangalore Destination :Patna Travellor Name: Arun Kumar Singh The reason for filing TDR is that i was not having hardcopy of my ID proof and was travelling with a soft copy of my ID Proof .I argued saying that i have a softcopy but he simply rejected my clarification and charged a fine and issued a new ticket and took full money from me. As a result i told my son in law to file TDR immediately and he did that with in an hour . We got an acknowledgement also from IRCTC. I spoke to irctc customer care and they told me that it will be settled within 3 month time.But when i checked today in my account i found no refund and after discussing the same thing with IRCTC people.They told that railway has rejected my claim. This is totally nonsense and i feel its a cheating with a customer. Even i found below rules on IRCTC web for TDR refund: This one is copied from IRCTC Website: Ticket deposit receipt(TDR) Rules and Procedure:- About TDR : TDR ( Ticket Deposit Receipt) If the customer was not able to perform the journey due to any /or the following reason 1. Train Cancelled By Railways 2. Train running Late by More than Three hours And Passenger Not Travelled 3. Difference of Fare in case proper coach not attached 4. AC Failure 5. Travelled without proper ID proof 6. Wrongly charged by TTE 7. Party partially travelled 8. Passenger Not travelled The users can apply for refund in such cases. So i request you to kindly look into it and take appropriate action. Regards, Arun Kumar Singh

    I was travelling from Rajkot to bandra by saurashtra janta on 11th aug.there was no water in toilet from Rajkot and complained to TC and till we reached bandra there was no water in toilet.compalined to railways by net but no feedback after 20 days.why delay?

      Four tickets were booked on 26th august 2015 at 8:01am at 12307 UP jodhpur express but the berths we got is not at all suitable, we are a family of four with ages 25, 28, 55, 59. PNR number[protected]. the seating aggangements are, coach number- B4, berth numbers- 46(UB), 48(SU), 54( UB), 56(UB). It is not possible to travel for two nights in such a scattered arrangement when 3 of the four members are female, kindly take necessary steps in this regard. Thank you.

        I have booked today tickets from dbg to sdah in sr ctzn category and to my shock we have got a upper birth and another side upper. When you have not permit birth choice how these births are vacant which no are 4 & 46 in ac2tier in gangasagar express. How can a person of 60 or 62 board that births . pls explain my no is [protected] and mail id is [protected]@gmail.com

                As only 2 Tickets were confirmed out of 5 Family members, Couldn’t travel by train and we have filed the TDR via irctc on 28th May. PNR # [protected]. TDR Complaint Reference # [protected]. T I was given one Telephone # [protected] - Pankajam who is from the railway dept. No one is answering. It is more than 3 months now.

                  I booked a 2S ticket for janshatabdi12082train for my journey from ERN to CLT dated 26.08.2015. I was expecting a janshadabdi second sitting in which i could use my laptop(i m carrying my works on the way too..i m neither demanding nor expecting a dedicated charger port). But i got a normal passenger train seating in which i cud hardly sit. The fat man sitting next to me is encroaching my seat too..a seat splitter or hand could at least prevent his belly from hitting me frequently. I hav given Tatkal fare..rs.135+some extra to sum up rs.157. Two days later another rs.11.5 is to be deducted as irctc service charge. After all this expenses, i m getting a normal passenger sitting. This is as if i booked a 3tier ac ticket and i got a sleeper coach to travel. I guess i paid double than normal fare just to experience the comfort which i m denied off. Ticket examiner told me rather i shud register a complaint. Coach.D1.. PNR.[protected]

                      Respected Sir, I have sent parcel of two plastic bags which is 87 kgs clothes worth of Rs 50, 000 from Dindugul station (DG) to Balharshah station (BPQ) on Aug 07, 2015. Receipt no. 827618. By Navyug Express train no. 16787. But Balharshah station parcel office didn't attend the train and also guard of the train ignored that parcel finally it passed and went it to Jammu thavi. It came back time also parcel wasn't gotten down in Balharshah station. Again it went to Thirunelveli station. Finally I gave reported to Nagpur commercial cell on 21/8/15. Again reported to Balharshah station manager on 25/8/15. Even though they are not giving correct information about my parcel. Since that day to today I am suffering by traveling my place to Balharshah station. It is having expensive Rs 500 per day. Please kindly check and handover it to me as soon as possible.                         My wife was travelling from new Delhi to datia on 24/8/2015 from Punjab Mail (12138) with PNR : [protected] & she was in 3AC coach. Her hand bag was stolen in moving train and was found near public toilet in AC coach only. In that almost 10, 000rs was missing and other important documents were also missing . These days in AC coach anyone can enter and no one is there to stop them, even the attenders are not aware of anything. I have also lost my cellphone in G.T express in the month of April. These days thief's are very active in NCR zone. Incident are happening from Jhansi to Agra and from Mathura to New Delhi. There is no serious action been taken from GRP or CRPF. They just register the complaint. Its been almost 1 year people are getting robbed again and again but no solution is there. Most of the victims are from AC coaches... Please look into it.

                            I booked a ticket for train :11039 / MAHARASHTRA EXP scheduled at 06 Aug 2015. The ticket was booked through online gateway of irctc. But the train got cancelled due to some reasons. It has been two weeks since then but i have not got my refund. I didn't get any response from concerned officials I mailed IRCTC but i didn't get a ny appreciating response. The amount is a sufficiently high amount for me. Please try to resolve soon.                               Yesterday some agitation took place in Khadah station in demand od ladies special. I am not supporting them completely but still want you to review your decision before again start general coach in ladies special. Only the early monrning ladies special can be avail by the office passenger... in our present system in a 9 coachs trains only one compartment in available to ladies... which too tiny for the increased no of ladies passenger... we can not avail the other local train due to its over crowds.we left with only one option i.e ladies special. So i thnk before u go for another announcement you must convert 9 coaches train to 12 coach...and i[censored] still thinking to againg start ladies special with general coaches plz travel daily in ofce tym for just one month... the whole picture of local trains will be clear to u.

                                I have tried to book ticket two times from kolkata to mumbai on date 18 / 08 / 2015. Both the time my money from the sbi deducted with transaction id of bank ig0anwecu1 for rs 5075 and ig0anwfqz9 for 5075 but no ticket delivered to me on inernet. Moreover no system is there to attend such type of complaint and bank say that it is not our resposibility for any damage with this organisation so what to do now. I am in loss of rs 10000 / -

                                    This complaint is about the attendant present in coach. Train No- 12627, Date of Journey- 09/08/2015, Coach- B2. I was travelling from SBC to NDLS with my family. I boarded the train at SBC station. Once train started the attendant came and handed over the bed sheet which was unclean and had brown spots(likely tobacco), I asked him to please change this than he said you will get this only i don't have any more to give you change this. I said ok. I came back to my seat and fallen asleep. Later when I got up he was shouting and abusing with his friends(another's coach attendant) in the coach. After some time i saw he was drinking alcohols with his friends in the coach same coach I woke him up and ask him to what are you doing here he told this is my job i do my job like this always and he was unmoved and started shouting and he said go and file complaint if you want. No police police force inside the train. I was with my family and can't do anything else. During the whole journey this was happening. And at the last when i was about to reach my destination, 2 hrs before same guy came to me and asked for give him pillow and blanket back i asked let train reached at destination than he said you have to give me now. i gave him back and 2 hrs of journey feeling cold there. I am writing this because he should be punished. Because we pay so much for AC fair to have a comfortable journey but if the attendant are so bad then it leaves a bad taste in the mouth. Please take action against that guy who was on duty that day if we want to improve services of Indian railways.

                                      Hi, PNR No [protected] TDR Filing Date: 25-Apr-2015 15:50:19 HRS Registration No: DER300415W04202 Repudiate Date: 12-Aug-2015 I had filed a TDR for E-Ticket since the train was late for more than 3 hours and passenger not travelled. I didn't receive any update from railways for more than 100 days. I tried contcting IRCTC as well as Chief Commercial Manager. When contacting CCM office they disconnected the call by mentioning that its not a valid number. Finally after contacting them for more than 20 times they repudiated my ticket with status as "TDR Repudiated" and they have mentioned the reason as "No EDR has been fed against the particular PNR". I need proper action taken for this issue.

                                        My brother booked a parcel for me which included an Honda Activa from the so called 'Indian Railways' (PRR no. [protected]) from Gwalior to Hazrat Nizammudin on 8th of August, 2015. At the time of booking it was told that it would take 3-4 days for the parcel to reach destination and that too was responded after inquiring so much. There was no one who could give proper details regarding parcel delivery. But 'unfortunately' the parcel reached the next day. No notification, No call, No SMS, and the railway started imposing the penalty. I live in Gurgaon and unfortunately could not travel 40 kms everyday to check if my parcel is delivered as there was no contact no. given whom to contact to for any inquiry, so i thought to visit after 4-5 days as told during booking the parcel. When i visited NZM to receive my parcel on 13th of Aug, 2015 morning. I was shocked to see a whopping 1063 rupees penalty (first 6 hrs free then at rs.10/hour). If i would have missed few more days, the penalty could have exceeded the value of my goods. This is a cheat...since it was neither anywhere mention on the slip, nor any one told about it while booking. And there's a railway procedure too that u cant send the documents with the parcel. So all documents needed to receive the parcel were couriered through DTDC which took two days and thank god no mistake was done because if it would have been couriered through govt. speed post... forget about your parcel. Then how any one can receive the parcel within 6 hrs of reaching. So this is a so called strategy to make money. Well quite a cheap practice. Well this can happen only in India... and our lovely Indian govt. who see a dream of getting 'Digitalised' dont have any process of sending an sms to the customer for succesful delivery of their parcel. Its the only reason no one wants to use Government services and everyone is shifting to private services for better quality, services and care. I am really disappointed.
