TDR # [protected] was filed on 24/02/2015 and till today the refund is not provided. Generally, all other railway zone (like South Zone) we will get the refund very soon but I always facing a challenges whenever I filed TDR in Eastern Zone. I do not understand why there is so much delay in providing the refund. I called customer care of IRCTC and they where helpless... even I have email conversation. Indian Railways customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
TDR # [protected] was filed on 24/02/2015 and till today the refund
is not provided. Generally, all other railway zone (like South Zone) we

I do not understand why there is so much delay in providing the refund. I
called customer care of IRCTC and they where helpless... even I have
email conversation.

Let me know when I can expect a refund.

    After a lot of follow up and submission of proofs, the latest comunication that was given is as below, but no action till now. Dear Customer, With reference to refund against PNR Number [protected] with reason Train Late More Than Three Hours and Passenger Not Travelled., it is advised that TDR Claim case has been regretted stating As per chart, passenger has travelled on[protected] by Chief Commercial Manager/Refunds /SC. As per your appeal, Chief Commercial Manager/Refunds /SC has been requested to reopen the case with remarks The case was previously regretted vide registration no.CSC211014W12639. Please reopen and process the case as passenger did not travelled DUE TO Train Late More Than Three Hours. for further processing along with supporting document provided by you. On receipt of refund amount from the Railways, it will be credited to the same account of the customer through which booking was made through opted payment gate way.       Hi,
      I am travelling in train since 30 yrs. Yesterday was a mystery for me I was boarding in same train yesterday from CST coach no: S4 seat no: 57.. TTE has came to check ticket, he checked my ticket then he asked for ID proof I showed him my PAN CARD it was a colour xeroz...then he asked for the original copy, I said him that at present I have not carry my original PAN CARD but I have my original passport &amp; driving license too..you can check any of these. So he replied to me I want to see a original pan card or else you have to pay a fine of Rs. 1000/- I denied the same &amp; said Y should I pay the fine m carried my originals except pan card..then he asked me to get down from train on next station or else he will call the cops. Same thing the TC was doing with 3 to 4 passengers. Finally we have paid him 700 bucks each to get the rid of it. It was a mental harassment for the passengers, he is simply making money..and till 1am he was doing the same same thing finally we have to 700 bucks each. We asked for receipt he denied &amp; said i[censored] want receipt u have 1000 bucks each. This is to bring to your notice that I am travelling in train since 30yrs and never carried my original pan card. This is a first time this TC took money for not carring original pan card. PFA is attachment for your reference &amp; this is to bring to your attention that TC is making money by selling tickets he is not giving confirm tickets to waiting list passengers &amp; giving confirm tickets to those pessenger's who don't even have a reservation tickets for each tickets he is asking for 350 rs. &amp; he is not even given a receipt. This kind of TC an employee should not be working in Indian railway I request to send my fine refund back which I paid yesterday. Please refer the attached pics..as well.. Requesting you to revert on same ASAP...for any more details you can contact me.

        Lost luggage bag - Gold color - below SL berth (71) S14 coach (beside general cmprt), Journey date 8th mar 2015 - NLR - Hyd - 12759 Charminar Exp - Train reached Sec station at 7.30 am on 9th Mar - Luggage Bag Missing from side lower berth. In bag side pocket my ID proof is there.. 6 pairs of clothes - Cash 150 Rs.. sweets -- HDFC Debit card ...Totally costs around 7k Rs (including bag cost). -- IF ANY1 BY MISTAKE take my bag..           I BOOK A E TICKET ON 19 FEB 15 FOR JOURNEY FROM GHAZIABAD TO SAHARANPUR FOR JOURNEY DATE 4 MAR 15 . BUT ON THAT DAY TRAIN CANCELLED BY RAILWAY. DUE TO LAST MOMENT CANCELLED OF TRAIN I RUSH TO NEXT TRAIN AND ANY HOW I REACHED TO DESTINATION. BUT DUE TO TIGHT SCHEDULED AND RARE AVAILABILITY OF INTERNET I COULD NOT CANCELLED MY TICKET. IS THIS NOT RESPONSIBILITY OF RAILWAY TO CANCELLED MY TICKET AUTOMATICALLY.             the ac waiting hall in madurai junction is worst maintained in terms of infrastruture. there are 5 ac. of which only one is working. i wrote a complaint in the note kept. its not a official complaint register. on just going back on the register, it seems that ac issue is there un attended since 15 days. if a passenger travels with photo copy of id proof, will railways alloq to travel. i[censored] govt ia atrit with rules, then it must also b to hat level. if ac not working for one day or two is ok. but 15 days is very bad. hope on my next visit to waiting hall will b nice.

                  I was booked ticket from ahmedabad to surat on date 5-3-2015 having PNR No- [protected] and i am not able to going on that day so i send my friend behalf of me with train ticket and my licence id. In between the journey the ticket collector don't understand the situation with the full identification of both person and he charged my friend 300rs after negotiation he take 150 and leave. i want an answer that he is right or wrong.

                      Dear Sir/Mam, I canceled two E-Tickets on same date (4 feb 2015) when train announcement is delayed more than 3 hours. I was also confirm with train inquiry window at railway station. My TDR had been successfully submitted on irctc website. but i have not recieve any refund from irctc till now and when i saw status of TDR then it will show CR Registered. I have send you both of E-Tickets TDR status as attachment. Plz check these. Plz reply me.

                        No water in restrooms in both the coaches. There are many passengers suffering in the coaches without water. There are kids, elderly passengers and diabetics.. People from long distance are having big trouble. The TTR says water will be filled only in Villupuram.The response gives is not at all helpful. People here are helpless and disappointed in the service provided. Please take necessary actions as soon as possible as people who travel in future should not fall in the same place as we are today.

                              Dear Sir, We are regular travellers from chennai to mysore and back. Friday we leave chennai and Monday back to chennai. We have a series of complaints about kaveri express. Also we have given written complaint in mysore railway station for which railway authorities are least bothered. Kindly look into the difficulties we are facing mentioned below. 1. Kaveri express is giving a huge jerk while starting, moving and stopping Kaveri express gives a very huge jerk. Every week i will be in upper berth and everytime the jerk happens, our head collides with the compartment wall. Last week i happen to know that one lady fell down in the toilet because of jerk and she was shouting from inside. The jerk problem we have highlighted in Mysore railway station also by writing a complaint in the complaint book. This is happening from last 2.5 years. Railway authorities are least bothered about the life of passengers as they havent cared for the complaint. Whole night no person can sleep in the train because of huge jerk. When we enquire in the railway station they just say its problem of coupling and nothing could be done. Does it mean people can travel and if something happens you are not responsible? How many years we have to wait to get atleast a reply. This clearly shows that railways are very least bothered about the life of the people. We need a clear reply as to whether it will be rectified or not. If yes when can we expect the smooth running of the train, if not what is the reason to trouble the travellers and if something happens, will the railway take the responsibility of the life of people. Kindly reply with your input. 2. Please come and visit the toilets in the train, it will be filled with cigeratte smoke. People who are allergic to this cannot even open the door. I think railway authorities will think of this only after train catches fire and some people die. Please think of avoiding illegal activities inside the train. 3. As mysore is a tourist place, many bulk bookings will be there in the train everyweek. The groups will shout in the train all over the night, they dont even switchoff the light. If we request them to be silent they say goto AC coach and many other scoldings. Some people behave like rowdies. Once i tried complaining to TTE, who was least bothered about this. 4. There is no TTE from Mysore till bangalore due to which we are facing lots of problems. General people who board in Mysore claim that, there is no resevation from Mysore to Bangalore and they can sit anywhere. Due to this we cannot sleep till it reaches bangalore by 12 midnight. TTE comes in Bangalore for checking around 12.30 or 1AM. Even though we board the train at 8.30 PM, we have to wait till 1PM for the TT to come and check. Once he checks, he starts alloting the RAC people. By the time he finishes his work, it will be 2.30 or 3AM. it means we cannot sleep whole night disturbed by the TTE. We need a TTE from Mysore so that we can sleep in the train easliy. 5. When the train reaches bangalore early morning from chennai, it will be around 3.30 or 3.45 AM. Once it enters Bangalore some 30 to 40 tea and coffee vendors board the train and they literally shout in the train. They disturb the whole train in the early hours. Train will become mini business spot with Tea, coffee, paper, vada, dosa, paper, flower etc vendors. We are disturbed by their shouting in the train. We dont know as to why railways are not restricting them not to disturb the passengers in the early hours. I request you to kindly look into this matter and help the people who travel regularly.                                 Complaint ref no.: W/NR/FZR/[protected] dt 18.02.2015 & W/NR/FZR/[protected] dt 25.02.2015 I boarded the Shatabdi Express (12014) at 8.38am from Ambala Cantt on 15.02.2015 (PNR:[protected]). The train is supposed to reach New Delhi at 11.30am. But it was delayed by more than an hour, and reached at 12.45pm. I had a flight to catch from the IGI Airport (Indigo Flight 6E-286 New Delhi to Coimbatore at 14.10 on 15.02.2015 PNR:I423XV). As a result of the train arriving late at NDLS, I could not reach the airport on time and missed my flight. The cost of my ticket of the missed flight was Rs.4700/-. Furthermore, I had to purchase a ticket for the next flight (Indigo Flight 6E-397 New Delhi to Coimbatore at 06.40 on 16.02.2015 PNR:B71ZJZ) which costed me very dearly at Rs.12, 659/- I consequently would like to demand a compensation for my expenses at the earliest for the delay caused by your services. The Shatabdi Express is a premium train and is supposed to run on time. The delay of more than an hour is intolerable. A prompt response is expected from your end. Kindly find enclosed the necessary supporting documents

                                    Hi, On january 1, 2015 morning, when i visited surat station to start my journey towards mumbai. I wanted to relieve mysel[censored]sing Platform Toilet for Laterine. When i gone to Platform Toilet, 1 person was seating there outside, demanded Rs.10 for using Laterine. I had no option but to give it to him as i was having urgency to relieve myself & my train was almost going to arrive in next 10-15 minutes. I am raising this complaints to just highlight the misuse of the passengers by taking more than extra money even for using Indian railways Toilets. In the Era where everybody is talking about Cleanliness, if such high money are taken from people for using Toilets, then poor people will have no option but to relieve themselves in the open rather than giving money & using the toilets. Which will in turn make the open places dirty & smelly. Kindly asking the Railway Authorities to look into the issue & take action against person taking advantage of passengers emergency situation.                                       Respected sir the kasara railway station is last station of central railway.the station premises do not have canteen facility and the passengers have buy jung foods and unautherised drinking waters from unlicensed hawkers.the vada pav and other food is unhygein and make passengers sick by eating such food. the number of hawkers are from different states and villages from up mp and north of India they fights againts themselves for there business.many hawkers are from age group less than 18 and 16 they do not have pratice to catch train and many hawkers falls from train and accident take place many dies and get injured. so please look into this matter and give proper result for this complaint.                                         My card no. SE0100338.Today on 20th February i needed a ticket from Barddhamann to Durgapur but the card not dispense any ticket .It showed that the card expired but the funny thing was that I purchased a ticket on 16th February at 06:08 am (bearing the user no:4X3FB6WOH and ticket no:0009) from Barddhamann to Howrah.When I approached the ATVM counter at Bardhamann but they were unable to provide any database information on the Card and also didn't give any proper satisfactory answer of how to re validate the card once again.My question is if the card delivers any ticket on 16th February and on 20th February the card is invalid.Then as per instructions on the reverse of the card I should get the security refund and balance after 1 month of expiry(rule no 3).Other wise the ticket delivered on 16th is invalid??I should be highly obliged if the appropriate authority address my complaint.Otherwise it will be presumed that the Railways is looting the public money and accordingly we should make a publicity for discouraging the ATVM card in the electronics MEDIA

                                        Earlier, South Central Railway has launched ATVM Cards. At the time of launching, Railway Officials has informed that; if the Card is expired, a new Card will be issued by deducting nominal charges with re-renewal of the Balance in the Old Card. However, the renewal of the Card is not being processing in some cases.

                                        I have taken Indian Railways ATVM Smart Card No. SC 0059444 in last year and the Card has expired on 18 January 2018 and the Card is having a Balance of Rs.404/-.

                                        Previously, when i forgot to renew the Card 2 years back also, the Railway Counter Officials have refunded and Old Card Amount and issued me a New Card.

                                        However, yesterday i.e on 14 February 2018, the Counter Officials at Lakadikapul / Nampally and Kacheguda have tried to renew the above Card and they are not getting the Balance. But, the Card is still showing a message of Balance Available of Rs.404/-.

                                        In this regard, i request you to

                                        a) Forward my concern to the respective IT Officials for renewal of the above Card No. SC 0059444 by rectifying the error in the above Card

                                        b) Increase the Card Validity Date as Life Time Validity or upto for a period of Minimium 3 Years

                                        c) An SMS / Email Alert Facility should be introduced to all ATVM Card Users' reminding them about the renewal of Card one month before the Card Expiry Date

                                        d) Introduce the automatic recharge facility thru' ATVM itself even after the Expiry of the Card by charging an additional fee in nominal rate/s.

                                        Kindly do the needful and inform the concerned to reply on [protected]@lancogroup.com or on [protected]@rediffmail.com
