Dear sir I want ask question to western railway management regarding Bandra - Virar Train Time : - 7.52 PM Its Destination time to Virar At 9.07 pm. I am travelling from this train from last 5 years. But its hardly reached on time and more than 75% its reaches after 9.20 pm. Now a time its cross the time limit to 9.30 pm. That means every days its running 18-25 minutes late. I hope you will find out the solution.

    Hi, I have filed my TDR online for Ticket PNR No : [protected] on Dated: 22/10/2014.The tickets details is as follow : PNR : [protected] Travel Date :22/10/2014 Source : Bangalore Destination :Patna Travellor Name: Arun Kumar Singh The reason for filing TDR is that i was not having hardcopy of my ID proof and was travelling with a soft copy of my ID Proof .I argued with TTE saying that i have a softcopy of my ID proof but he simply rejected my clarification and charged me a fine and issued a new ticket and took full money from me. As a result i told my son in law to file TDR immediately and he did that with in an hour of travel time . We got an acknowledgement also from IRCTC. After that I spoke to irctc customer care and they told me that it will be settled within 3 month time.But when i checked today in my account i found no refund and after discussing the same thing with IRCTC people.They told that railway has rejected my claim. This is totally nonsense and i feel its a cheating with a customer. Even i found below rules on IRCTC web for TDR refund: This one is copied from IRCTC Website: Ticket deposit receipt(TDR) Rules and Procedure:- About TDR : TDR ( Ticket Deposit Receipt) If the customer was not able to perform the journey due to any /or the following reason 1. Train Cancelled By Railways 2. Train running Late by More than Three hours And Passenger Not Travelled 3. Difference of Fare in case proper coach not attached 4. AC Failure 5. Travelled without proper ID proof 6. Wrongly charged by TTE 7. Party partially travelled 8. Passenger Not travelled The users can apply for refund in such cases.       Dear Sir, There some groups who make noise inside the local trains in the name of KEERTAN. They take hold of almost all the seats saying that this space is reserved for KEERTAN. They Don't even let the passengers put their luggage over the shelves. They Say that they will keep their musical instruments over it. Since they are in majority nobody dare to argue them. But really what they do in the name of HARI KEERTAN is noise. They just make entertainment which causes the other passengers very much uncomfortable environment to travel in. I request you to take this in the notice of the higher authorities. This the daily routine on the Palwal To Delhi Route.

        To travel from Ludhiana to New Delhi on 01.11.2014 I had booked confirmed ticket for Myself, my father 92 Yrs and my mother 86 Yrs in train no 12204 Grib Rath under PNR No [protected] in third AC On reaching at Ludhiana railway station at 6.00A.M.we came to know that due to Punjab Bandh 0n 01.11.2014 the train is considerably late and due to the advanced age of my father and mother it was not possible to wait for such a long time on the railway station and we returned home I cancelled the ticket and filed TDR on the same day i.e. dated 01.11.2014 at around 7.30 A.M. which was successfully lodged but no refund was given saying that we have travelled in the same train which is wrong Next day we came to know from news paper that the train was really late by more than four hours I am in job with Hero Eco tech Limited and was present in my office from 9.30 A.M. to 6.30 P.M. on 01.11.2014 for which I can produce a certificate from my employer for your kind consideration I filed a complaint with Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances on19.11.2014 but ministry of railways has forwarded it to Mr J.P.Singh Dy. CCM Claim Fifth Floor, Biscomaun Bhawan Patna – 800001` Mr J.P. Singh is not responding even after several reminders Now I am sure that The Consumer court will definitely help me in getting my refund which is based on truth.

            Hi, Train No: 12739 - GARIB RATH From Visakhapatnam to Secunderabad have to reach Secunderabad Station by 8.10AM as per schedule. But this train never reaches before 8.45AM and most of the times after 9AM. I have travelled by this train so many times and also waited for some one to receive, but it never reached Secunderebad station in right time. on 22nd Dec 2014, my family started in the same train from Visakhapatnam to Secunderabd as per right time it supposed to reach by 8.10AM. Hence I have booked a cab at 8.15AM and I have also gone to station to receive my family. In train information display board it is displayed Train will reach by 8.30AM. After 15 mins it is changed 9AM and then 9.10AM. Then I have been to meet Dy.Station Manager and explained what is the issue with this train always. Because of the train delay I have to pay waiting charges to Cab, I have missed to attend meeting in my office, which is at 10AM. When I have explained all this to Dy.Station Manager, surprisingly he has told it is not his responsibility and also he told, there will be so many cases like this, Then I have again explained to him the, it is never reaching before 8.45 AM, please suggest to to you superiors to put proposal to change the Arrival time. Then also he has responded like he is Just getting salary to sit in that seat and not to respond to suggestions/Complaints. Then I have left to Display board again. There it is changed that Train will reach by 9.30AM. Then I have been to meet Station Manager (RATHORE) and explained what is happening daily with this train. He has called his superior and explained to the issue and suggested to change the Arrival timings at least so that there will be clarity the passengers who are travelling in the train and also who are waiting to receive some one in the same train. I have bit satisfied with response and then again been to Display broad there it s changed to 9.45AM. Again I have been to Station Manager (RATHORE) and then he has detailed discussion with me and also he told he is getting so many complaints on this Train. Surprising thing is Platform Number 1 is free for 20 mins but this Garib rath train is not allowed to get in to the platform. When I have asked this to Station Manager (RATHORE), there was no answer form him. Everyday this train will reach Moulali between 7.30AM to 8Am and it will stop there for an hour or so. This is happening on everyday. In this case, I don't why the management is not at all looking into this issue. I have raised complaint in station itself and taken copy of that. I am attaching the same here. Complaint No: 196291. Finally train reached 9.45 and announcement commenced after the train parked in 9th platform. Because of all this delay I have paid Rs. 150 extra to Cab and I have missed one important meeting with client, hence I have paid to my company by getting comment like irresponsible. Indian Railway has to pay for this to me. because this is not the first time, i have faced this issue. Every one is facing this issue on every day in this TRAIN.               I am travelling in Rajdhani Exp, 12431 from Vasai Rd. to Delhi. I have not been offered welcome kit. Also at morning water given for preparing tea was not hot. Even complaining many times attendant not addressed the complaint and he denied to give complaint book when it is being asked. Train was late by 2 hour and according to rule free water and food has to be provided by IRCTC but that also has not being provided. Please help me to take this issue to higher authorities so that such irresponsible behaviour should not be continued by IRCTC at least in Rajdhani. Regards Tarun PNR [protected] Mobile [protected]

                The train 22829 bhuj-shalimar express cancelled on[protected] and we have confirmed tickets in ac III class which pnr number is[protected] which is booked through station window and we booked 2 more tickets from irctc. we were 10 persons who were going to shalimar with this train to attend my elder son's weeding function, but due to cancellation of train without prior information before 12 hours from train departure at our boarding station i.e. vidisha station and no message of cancellation was sent on our registered mobile number from irctc. we failed to attend the function and we have to suffer a lot to reach kolkata to attend the remaining functions. The information of train cancellation was not provided by any means of communication and even the cancellation information was not provided at vidisha station by the Station master itself (Mr. Niranjan) and enquiry officer when we were at station. The announcement of cancellation were made after we inquire about it. All this cause me a great loss of money as well as it mentally disturbed me. Therefore i want you to take strict action against this as soon as possible.

                  There is one height limiting beam next to the railway bridge on the road that connecting the pune-mumbai highway and the range hills road through Kirkee cantonment area and crime branch police station. The beam is completely moved towards one support and leaving only half inch overlap on the other support. As there are many dumpers and trucks passing through the bridge because of vibrations the beam will slip through the support and fall down soon. I raised the complaint in PMC and also visited cantonment board maintenance office but it seems the responsibility lies with railway department. It will be good if railway management takes this seriously and install the beam properly and firmly with welding or bolting so that the beam never fall down. I called up railway department but from the conversation they might take it seriously only when the beam fall down. It is completely left it to the fate of the people travelling through that bridge.

                    Hi There, This is to bring to your notice that on Saturday I was traveling back to Mumbai train no 11402. Train got delayed for 50 mins, there were no place to move in Sleeper Class nor there were no water in the compartment. It is always happens unreserved people travelled in sleeper class making it difficult for the reserved passengers. I have to literally wait until Aurangabad comes. The travelling was so sad and so horrible experience.

                      Once I wanted to reach Borivli but boarded from Andheri. Since I was late at that time, I boarded Bandra train and got down at Bandra. Ticket checking staff caught me and checked I had valid ticket. Shall I be penalised in this case since I had valid ticket but reached wrong destination? I wanted to the rule in my case how the rule comes in picture ? Thanks.

                          Dear Sir Its the incident at Moradabad Railway station. Details are as follows: PNR: [protected] Train No. 14311 DOJ: 12-12-14 From: MB to JP Class: 3A Confirmed Seat: B1, 12 Coustomer Name:Amrit Kaur Sodhi (My Mother aged : 54Y) Ticket Collector Name : R. R. Meena While my mother bording the train the TC (Mr. R. R. Meena) Refuses My Mother that she is having the PNR No. Which is in waiting list and same has been cancelled automatically. You are not able to board the train. If You board, you shall be treated without ticket. At the same time my mother called be and describe about the incident. I ones again checked and found its confirmed and I asked to board the train anyway. The train start moving from the platform and my mother get into general boogie. I ask her to convince and recheck the status of above seat at the very next station at Amroha. As train stops at Amroha The TC realizes his mistake and ask her to come to her confirmed seat. I really appreciate restriction o[censored]nwanted entry of the passengers, but they should have to check the status even after boarding the train for the lady. Regards Prakash Singh Sodhi

                            Dear Sir, This is in reference to the travel dated 28 Nov 2014. (Train No. 16231, PNR No. – [protected], From Mayiladuturai Junction to Bangalore City, Class – 3AC). It was an E-Ticket where both me (B Jawaharlal) and my wife (J Kamala) were supposed to travel to Bangalore. Due to a sudden dip in my health, I couldn’t make it to the journey. My wife went ahead with the travel in my absence. My son (on a different ticket) accompanied my wife. My wife had boarded the train at Mayiladuturai. Within minutes of boarding the train, the Railway TT had come and checked her ticket. As I am the person who generally carries the original ID proof; my wife, in my absence, had missed to take the original ID proof. Although, she had a photo copy of her Aaadhar Card with her but not the original one. On being asked to produce the ID Proof, she had conveyed it to him that she only had a photocopy and not a original one. My wife and son had requested him to consider the same. If this wouldn’t do, she was also willing to pay the differential fine too. However, the TT agreed and accepted the same. When the train halted at Tiruchirapalli Junction, D Kanharajan (Divisonal Railway Mangaer, Tiruchiraplly - TTL/SSIL/T85) boarded the coach and asked my wife to get down from the train as she wasn’t carrying the original ID proof. My wife told him that the TT had agreed for it and she was willing to pay the fine too. He abused her infront of everyone and asked her to get down the coach. She was embarrassed in front of everyone. My son tried to intervene and Mr. D Kanharajan asked him to come near the wash room. He later demanded a fine to the tune of Rs. 2500/-from my son to allow my wife to continue the journey. My son told you may take whatever fine you can according to the law. He wasn’t willing to budge. Later, on pressure, giving some calculations he extracted an amount of Rs. 1560/- from my son. Here are my issues – 1. Is the amount taken by him right? If yes, please give me the computations. 2. Stern action to be taken for the ridiculous behavior by the officials. 3. Is the official within his capacity to collect the fine? 4. The whole purpose of ID proof is to be able to verify the identity of the passenger. If the identity of the passenger is verify with the ID proof irrespective of it being a original or a photocopy, it should do. You can’t harass a passenger like this. 5. Action to be taken against the conernced TT. As he had to take the fine himself, rather than intimating the divisional railway manager. Indian Railways is a Govt. Organisation aimed at rendering service to the society. If the behavior of its officials is like this, then the public would that little trust also that they have on the Railways. I need stern action against the concerned railway official. I am surely taking this matter to the highest level and on various social networking websites. Public cannot be taken for granted. I expect a early response towards this. I wasn’t in the best of my health and therefore I have put in this mail a little later. Regards, B. Jawahar

                            Agreed, after the new rule has come, TTE's have got more reasons to harras people and take more money. RULES SHOULD BE MADE IN FAVOR OF PUBLIC and NOT TO BE MISUSED BY THE OFFICIALS.

                              dear sir I along with my 3 family members travelled from MUMBAI CST to LUCKNOW JN from PUSHPAK EXPRESS as on dated 11-12-14 in IIIrd AC coach, we have 3 confirm tickets and one ticket was in (WL-1).However i boarded in coach B1 with my father, mother and brother those are having confirm tickets SEAT NO.-43, 45, 48. While ticket collector Mr B.K GUPTA checked our ticket and said to me that your three tickets are ok but one ticket is in (WL-1) therefore you have to travel in sleeper coach then i said, Sir when i have paid full fare to travel in IIIAC so why should i go in sleeper coach then he said to me don't try to teach me the rules and also said that if you want to travel in IIIAC coach you have to pay (Rs500)more then my father requested him and say we already have three seats and we can adjust there is no problem, but TC was not ready to listen even a single word and finally he has taken a money Rs500 from us without giving any receipt. But, instead of alloting the vacant seats to the waitlisted passengers, he alloted the seats to general ticket holders who offer some money for that. Seat no 57 in Coach B1 in such case, There were few more cases like that. I would plead some top officials to take serious actions against Mr B.K GUPTA, not because I faced lot of inconvience, but to better the system.                                 Subject: QUERIES ON REFUND AMOUNT AGAINST TICKET PNR NO.[protected];TRANSACTION ID [protected] In connection to subject matter pl. note that I had booked e-ticket on 23 september2014 for journey from Durgapur To Raipur (train no. 13425; MLD TST EXP. ) for journey on 22november 2014, while its' displays availability of six tickets but get e- ticket with a status Passenger 1 -confirmed, Passenger 2 (PQWL/1) & Passenger 3 (PQWL/2). I had kept ticket with a hope that one ticket will be confirm as there was a baby with us & purchased two Sleeper class confirmed tickets, unfortunately wait listed tickets had not been confirmed. it is need not to mentioned that as per railway rule tickets being cancelled & TDR registered by Western Railway CR Registration no. : CWR281114W19517. Till date i haven't' received money.                                   I traveled in Tippu express train on 09.12.14 from Mysore to Bangalore and incidently occupied a seat in a reservation compartment. (Though there was no mention of it being reservation compartment and it was almost empty) But a person in tte uniform came in and started checking the tickets and collected Rs.15.00 as excess fare for sitting in res. compartment.bur never issued a receipt. On questioning about the receipt, he said single receipt will be issued for some 10 passengers for his convenience and he did give me a receipt after some time showing amount as Rs.330-00. (SWR Rt. No.386566. If this is an authorized collection, I like to say that this is not a fool proof system because one need not write a receipt for the whole money he collects.                                     Dear Sir, Reference to my previous complaint in which I complained for not receiving my parcel from Dibrugarh to Kuchman City worth Rs 4500(vide ticket no 92368314 and luggage ticket no 27484 and paid parcel charges Rs 230 on dated 16.02.2014) After complaining to you I got a call from parcel office Kuchman City and they told me that my parcel is lying at their office. When my representative went there to pick the parcel then your parcel officer demanded charge of Rs 6000 /- .This is unjustified because inspite of your officers mistake of not delivering the good in time and inspite of going their many times they refused to check the godown and told me that the parcel had not arrived andi nsisted us to inquire at Macrana, Bikana and Jodhpur.                                       Parasuram express (1664) which needs to arrive trivandrum at 6:35 pm, will be delayed for at least half an hour daily. Weekly once it arrives even 2 hours late. Due to this consistent late arrival on different time cause difficulty for the local passengers who doesnt have another train from trivandrum to nagercoil between (6:00pm to 9:00pm).Passengers who arrives trivandrum station at 6 has to wait for atleast one hour for train . It is highly annoying for passengers who depends on Parasuram express. Kindly do the needfull. Thanks.
