I booked a tatkal ticket on 27.03.2014 from credit card counter at PRS Mumbai Central Station through my debit card. The particulars of the booked tickets are given below: PNR No. [protected] Train No. 22629 DADAR TEN Express Date of Journey: 28.03.2014 Dep. time from Dadar: 20.40 Class: 3A Station from DADAR to MADGAON Total Amount paid Rs.2450/- + Rs.60/- as credit card transaction charges. No. of Passengers: 2 On the day of Journey (28.03.2014) the status after preparation of Chart was W/L 3&4. Hence, I went to Dadar Station for getting the ticket cancelled. When I approached Head TC, he asked me to go to PRS counter for cancellation, I went to counter No. 9 at 20.10, the booking clerk took my form and ticket and then returned back the ticket saying that this can not be cancelled at this counter and I should go to credit card counter. When I enquired about the same, I was told that Credit card counter closes at 20.00. Then, I again went to Head TC for help, he replied the same and advised me to approach to designated credit card counter next morning at CST station. When I asked him for issuing TDR, he replied that there is no system of TDR now. I was not satisfied with the reply and went to Station Master on duty at around 20.50 for help. He also said that railway had stopped TDR and advised me to approach at CST station next morning. On 29.03.2014, I went to CST station as advised and handed over the ticket for cancellation at credit card counter at 8.15 and the booking clerk informed me the system in not accepting the ticket for cancellation and I should meet senior officials. When I met the official, he advised me to go to Church Gate station and deposit the ticket there in CCM's office (WR) for getting refund as the payment of the ticket had gone to Western Railway and not the Central Railway. He also informed me that there are holidays from 29th March, 2014 to 31st March, 2014 in CCM office, so I shall have to deposit the ticket on April 01, 2014. I finally, deposited the ticket in CCM(R) office on April 01, 2014. But, to my surprise the claim was repudiated (Ref. No. BWR/020414/S00017/ST03) Then, I appealed against this on April 17, 2014, The appeal was also rejected. It was my mistake that I booked the ticket at credit card counter, if I had booked the ticket at general counter by cash, I could get refund instantly without any trouble. I approached the PRS 30 minutes at 20.10 before departure time (20.40) of the train, and could not get refund due to faulty rules and misguidance by Railway Officials at Dadar Station.     Subject: Complaint for the Train Number: 19012(Gujarat Express) late running since last many months

    Dear Sir,
    It has been observed that 19012UP: Gujarat Express is getting delay regularly between section Ahmedabad(ADI) – Vadodara(BRC). This train is the life-line of many commuters working at different cities and daily commuting between Ahmedabad(ADI) to Bharuch(BH). On an average the train is running daily late by 30 mins. Also, daily delay in the train is not good for their career perspective.
    Every day the train is departing source station late by minimum 15-20 mins and the same delay is propagated upto Vadodara(BRC). Sometimes the delay is understandable but every day delay is portraying wrong image of efficient and competent railway traffic management system. We, the daily passengers of the Gujarat Express ask for you to consider our request to regularize this train.
    We are thankful to you for your valuable time, consideration and blissful co-operation.

      Dear sir, I travel from Navsari to Surat everyday for my work. While coming back from work, I usually take train number 59050 Viramgam - Valsad passenger or 12930 Dahod- Valsad Intercity. The train always runs about 1:30 hour late ALWAYS. Please look over this trains matter as it is only way to my work and come back. One day is fine for like 10-15 mins. But late EVERYDAY for 2 hours ??!!! This is not good from Western and Indian Railways. Thanks Bhumika

          Sir I am a CA student. My CA exams are ahead. Next month after my exam I was planning to go to home, so I went to reservation counter near M.G.Road today (28.05.014) to book a ticket from HWH to BGP(12.06.14) along with a return ticket from BGP to HWH(15.06.14) . jI found that only one counter was open . After waiting over there for 30 mins my turn came, and then I saw that counter was closed. I checked out the hour in my mobile ( matched with IST) it was 5:27 pm. I asked staff sitting over there on counter that " 2 min is still left ...why r u closing the counter...I have my exam ahead ...i have to go and study...there is still 2 min left ..plss book my ticket...". On this that staff started shouting on me that " in my system its 5:30pm ...i don't care about time in your phone...don't teach me what is right or wrong...i will follow my time...I[censored] want ur ticket booked, then wait for half an hour...".

          I stood over there for half an hour ...now in my phone time was 5:57 pm (this means in his system time is 6:00 pm)...but still now counter was closed... when its 6:01 pm in my phone(this means 6:04pm as per his system)...that guy came back to his seat ...and opened the counter. On this I asked him that.." Why r u not on time...recess time is of 30mins, and u went for 34 mins...I[censored] r closing ur counter at 5:27 pm...saying that its 5:30 in your system then why were u not back on time...when ur system said its 6:00 pm...u came back 4 mins late..." . Then that guy deneid that he is late ...he shouted on me and told me that " I m on time ...as per my system time is 6:01 pm now...u might have changed time in ur phone ...and now u r showing me wrong time to prove me wrong..What prove do u have..Do u have any written proof...I will do whatever I wish..its my office...I[censored] want a ticket..u will have to stand and wait until i come back..no one will believe u, , , u don't have any proof against me..tell me withou any proof will any one beleive on u".

          I booked my ticket and then I went to Bara Babu sitting in that office. I told him all what happened. But inspite of helping me, he too started shouting on me and he used abusive language . He told me " if for you your time is so important then why are you wasting your time now... nothing is going to happen..Yes we will come and go as per our wish...and all staff here is right..and you can't do anything...so stop complaining and get lost from here..."

          There was police staff over there...he saw everything whatever happened...when i went to him..he told me " yha aisa hi hota h madam...hm kuch nhi kr skte...jo krna h Bara Babu hi krnge..."

            My Hand bag had been theft from running train in Buxar and Mirzapur No: 13201, PNR NO: [protected], coach: A1 15, It includes my Cash Pan Card, Railway pass and ticket, and ID proofs, When i asked from coach attendant for complain, he replied no TTE is present in the train, In Mirzapur one GRP guy came and i asked to lodge the complain but he refused.               Luggage was booked from Indore to Nizamuddin in train no. 12415 on[protected] .R/R no. 462087 to be delivered to Mr.Updesh Gaba on[protected].RSLR no. 13713 second compartment. The luggage is still missing. I was supposed to carry this luggage along with me to Dubai on[protected].No one is taking the responsibility of the missing luggage.origin station(indore) says check at destination(Nizamuddin).Destination says luggage is not traced check with Origin.I had to travel without my luggage.It has caused lot of tension and kiosk for all o[censored]s. I need my luggage back as soon as possible.Have already filed complaints with railway complaint cell.But no one is ready to take the responsibility.

                I had lodge a complain through the Web Portal of Indian railway and also served an Email to the official authorities of the Railway's on 18/05/2014 vied Complain no W/NF/KIR/[protected] on 18/05/2014 the portal is showing that it has been registered on 19/05/2014. But till date I had not received any call, mail, correspondence from the railway authority.I had also tried to call to the Katihat DRM, ADRM NJP/SILIGURI, AREA MANAGER NJP/SILIGURI, CCM NF RAIL WAYS but in most of the times there was no one to pick y\up my call and in sum times I had only assured that soon I will receive a call back it is almost a week now. And as the journey date is just knocking at the door I need an urgent solution.

                  Now a days Indian Railways allotting seats/berths in the name of Tatkal( 24 hours before starting of train) by charging extra amount.Of course it is helpful to those people who are in emergency requirement but on the other hand, it is a kind of ignorance towards the passengers who booked ticket long back & were kept in waiting list.Actually the purpose of tatkal is misused by passengers.They won't book purposefully as early as possible even though they planned their journey due to laziness or due to conceit of having money.So railway people must ask the passengers actual need of booking in tatkal with clear cut EVIDENCE. They also should not keep waiting list for tatkal passengers( CKWL) because it is completely neglected by TTC.So kindly make a note of this & don't make tatkal reservation as black market ticketing reservation.I am writing this because I am one of the victim of this Tatkal ticketing.

                    Hello Sir, My parents were travelled from Vijayawada to Bangalore Jn with below ticket on 15/05/2014 in BAGMATI EXPRESS in S9 coach 51, 52 berths. Train reached BANGALORE CY JN(SBC) at 10PM with more than 1 hour late. My parents were waiting the train to go KENGERI. But, before train departs from BANGALORE CY JN(SBC), TC entered in S9 coach enquiring my parents about where to go?, They replied saying need to go Kengeri. But TC told this is super-fast express, it does not stop at KENGERI. Then my father showed the ticket and told ticket has been taken till Kengeri station and asked it has to be stopped there. The TC told, the train does not stop at Kengeri, it will stop at next station MANDYA(MYA). Moreover he told as you do not have ticket till MANDYA, you may need to pay fine also and finally he made may parents get down from train at BANGALORE CY JN(SBC) at 10:30 PM( late night). My brother's home is in lakshmi sagara around 10 km from kengeri. As my parents got down at BANGALORE CY JN(SBC), they had faced lot of troubles in the mid night and finally reached home very late mid night. I want complain against the TC for misbehaving, misguiding, for making get down from train, made my parents scare and finally to face lot of troubles.                         I had sent my two wheeler from vadodara station to pune station through indian railway parcel service. Booking date was 05/05/14. Vehicle no is DN09/F8962 Honda Aviator scooter 110 cc.
                        I have not yet received it at Pune station. I also could not find any contact details of vadodara railway parcel office.
                        Kindly look into the matter.

                          Hi, Train No: 12650 PNR: [protected] Transaction ID: [protected] Fare: 315 DOJ: 04/05/2014 I had booked a ticket through irctc.com but because of long waiting list my seat could not get confirmed. So I was expecting fare would be refunded in my account but its been 4 days it didn't. Kindly take necessary steps to refund my money as soon as possible. Thanking you.

                            This is about SURAT JAMNAGAR INTERCITY EXPRESS.This is about hostile attitude of older/more regular MST travellers hostile/goonda attitude towards other not so regular MST pass holders.
                            MST travellers have only one 2 class general coach.there may well be more than 500 MST pass holders, between SURAT-VADODARA.
                            Its a nightmare travelling for the two hours.
                            Some of these older MST passholders have made a coterie and do not allow other MST travellers to sit on empty seats/berths, saying so and so will board the train at Bharuch or Ankaleshwar, and hence keep that seat unoccupied where in dozens of bonafide passengers simply wait and watch.
                            These MST pass holders abuse, push, gang up against other individuals.in this exclusive pass holders coach.
                            Railways authorities in the form of TTES/GRP never visit this coach, do nothing
                            there are drug addicts/pushers and many anti social elements in this MST coach.just 12 -15 regular travellers play KING in this coach for a journey of 2 hours.most of these gangterised pass holders are carrying goods in baskets/big bags containing cloth cutpieces and other sundry trade items.hence they have a cause to travel cheap, occupy space and defend their territory vigorously.
                            who can imagine gainfully employed people returning to Vadodara fronm Surat on 2 HOURS TRIP at 1:30PM IN THE Afternoon.
                            In normal general compartments, there s general feeling of co passenger /comradie, but in this MST coach, these goons will lie down or play or cards and two persons will keep a whole berth to themselves and watch amusingly at scores of men, women, elderly stand and suffer.
                            how long will this last.sooner or later there will be a bloody confrontation.
                            it is requested that ticket checking staff and GRP authorties to intervene andcheck passes as well as force the older MST pass holders to allow other NST holders to sit on unoccupied seats which they have reserved for their friends etc who will board mid way..
                            IF THIS NOT ORGANIZED CRIME, WHAT IS?

                              Dear Sir Gujarat Mail stasts from Ahmedabad at 10 p.m. daily. This is a premium train. It's schedule tine to reach Vadodara is 00.05 i.e 2 hours travel time. I travel by this train to Mumbai every Monday Morning from Vadodara. The train is always late by 30 to 45 minutes. This is surpricing as in travelling 100 Km distance such delay is occuring. Please do something to avoid delay.

                                2013 from chennai central to howrah in howrah mail (12840) pnr [protected]
                                Passangers are (1) barun kr roy &
                                (2) swapna roy for 3a class. But on 14 oct 2013 howrah mail (12840) cancelled from chennai from railway administration end, & both the passangers
                                Had to come by flight. As we did not travelled by train which i booked because
                                Of railway fault i should get the amount deducted from my bank a/c for ticket
                                Booking charge.

                                I lodge a complain at '' [protected]@irctc.Co.In'' on tue, nov 19, 2013 at 10:32 am an d now the last reply was on mon, mar 10, 2014 at 12:05 pm..Dear customer,

                                  I was travelling at 13103 up bhagirathi exp. From sealdah to berhampore on 27/04/2014 at couch no.D3, seat nos. 13, 14 & 16 respectively with my family. The above train was running late for more than 1 hour and stopped at sargachi station due to cross a goods carring train. The fare of the above train bhagirathi was more than three times of ordinery ticket and it was not expected to stop anywhere like sargachi, a interior villege where a possibility of theft & decoities ocurred, we are unsecured without railway police guards. I protested to the concerened railway authority of berhampore railway station, but there was no fruitful result at all. I wish to highlight the above situation for justice.

                                  I WANT JUSTICE AND TO BE PUNISHED SUCH IRRRESPONSIBLE PERSONS BELONGS TO THE CHAIR PERSONS OF BERHAMPORE RLY. STATION.I WAS TRAVELLING AT 13103 UP BHAGIRATHI EXP. THE FARE OF THE ABOVE TRAIN BHAGIRATHI WAS MORE THAN THREE TIMES OF ORDINERY TICKET AND IT WAS NOT EXPECTED TO STOP ANYWHERE LIKE SARGACHI, A INTERIOR VILLEGE WHERE A POSSIBILITY OF THEFT & DECOITIES OCURRED, WE ARE UNSECURED WITHOUT RAILWAY POLICE GUARDS. I PROTESTED TO THE CONCERENED RAILWAY AUTHORITY OF BERHAMPORE RAILWAY STATION, BUT THERE WAS NO FRUITFUL RESULT AT ALL. I WISH TO HIGHLIGHT THE ABOVE SITUATION FOR JUSTICE.                                     Sir,
                                    I have done tatkal reservation from ubl to dr on 26/4/2014 for (27/4/2014) with pnr no [protected], at the time of reservation the ticket status is waiting, on 27/4/2014 when the chart is prepaired (Between 1.30 to 2 pm)the status is still waiting, so i went to cancle by the time the counter is closed, so next day morning around 9am i went to cancle, but they told it should be cancled with in 3 hours of train departure & they have not cancled the ticket & not refunded the money.

                                    When you have prepaired the chart by late & closed the counter how can i cancle the ticket with in 3 hours.This is your dept problem for whichni have lost my money.Kindly give the solution.

                                    Actually this is your problem not mine for which i lost money.

                                      Most Urgent To The Hon’able Chairman of Railway Railway Board, Dated 26.04.2014. Rail Bhavan, New Delhi, India – 110 004 Sub: General Manager and Divisional Railway Manager, North Central Railway, Allahabad was not decided to my case still date for fixation as per third Pay commission. Humbly respected Sir, with due respect, I beg to say that I have been submission some few lines under your kind control for considerations and justice to my mercy application as early as possible. That the applicant was appointed as an post of Sub-Khallasi after Railway medical examination on 06th Nov’1969 and posting at Kanpur after compilation SR Book. The applicant continuously worked with satisfaction of superiors. In mean time, I have selected in panel on dt. 14.12.1973. After some time passed the P/Branch, Allahabad called and again does the re-medical examination and again filled up SR book and date of appointment changed with out any notice. I asked to the P/ branch office with D.P.O regarding the changed my D.O.A. They reply me as vide letter no. 220E/RSO-Pannel/73/22 dt 01.01.1974 that applicant date of appointment is correct i.e 06.11.1969 and passed order to P/Branch must be carried out the correction of the same. But P/Branch did not carry out the same DPO’s order. That so that applicant moved to court regarding correctness of date of appointment and disputed all the service previous period. The honable court were seen both side comments and documents and passed the order no[protected] dt 10.11.2010 that the applicant service was not any disputed case and instructed to Railway officers it may be correctness immediately within three months time for implementations for all purpose i.e qualifying services for retrial benefits, seniority and other consequential benefits admissible to the applicant under rules. But railway officers were not implementation still date. In mean time I have received two letters from Sr. Divisional Personal Officer that on 1st letter Mr K M Narrain that mention on letter I was worked w.e.f 06.11.1969 as regular and earned increment time to time but Sr. DPO Smt. Pramila Singh had mention there that I was worked in Railway instalment period time to time. Sir how it is the possible both officers were different statements to employee for justice. On service record mention I worked w.e.f 06.11.1969 but Smt. Pramila Singh and staff were mention in SR mark absent due to not posting time to time in SR book. Sir as senior scale officers was competent authority for justice but they could not justice for same. Sir as per court all the period decided and passed order I worked in Railway continuously w.e.f 06.11.1969 to 15.12.1974 and no any disputed case to the applicant. As per third pay commission the pay fixation will be done in the year of 1st Jan 1974. That in third pay commission which was declared in March 1973 and which was the mention of Government of India Gazette in GSR–516-E that applicant not got full benefits in the period from 1969 to 1973 because the basic pay as same slab up to year of 1973. Sir, in rule was also clearly mention and instructed that one increment should be paid 1st Jan 1974 to the applicant on fixation. This type of fixation in the GSR-516-E was shown in page no. 1680 in para II under the above slabs.                                         Sir/ Madam, PNR:[protected] I am travelling from Ajmer to Banagalore and as per to railway seat status I am suppose to be Passenger 3: RS9 15/Coach Position:7 (Booking Status: W/L 159, GNWL) after the Chart PREPARED but at after the whole days travel my RAC seat has been alloted to someone else by the corrupt TT at Vapi Station. When I am challenging for the seat, I am being threatned . Please can someone take action and bring justice. I am travelling by Ajmer-Mysore Express/16209 Regards Sameer
