Myself Jajati Nayak was travelling in Duronto Exp (bearing PNR [protected]) from Howrah to Mumbai with berth number 29, A3. I have been provided used bed sheets/rolls, used bath towels and used pillow cover. When I informed the attendant he said that he has been provided with these used bedsheets to distribute. He also agreed that these are used bedsheets. Not only me, several other persons are also faced the same situation. When I asked them to complain they told that no action is generally taken if some body complains that's why it would be useless to complain. However I feel still there are some honest officers who might take action. Hence I thought to pursue this matter and bring the notice of the senior authorities. I informed the Train Ticket Conductor (TTI/TTC) and guard. Finally I put a complain near the guard. I got a letter as the response to my complain after 3 months but it is dated on 12.12.2013 from the Divisional Railway Manager, MUMBAI, CST (Deepak Sharma) that this is a matter under Howrah Divisional Railway Manager and hence they have forwarded the case to howrah DRM. There is no action intimated till now. I felt there must be a nexus starting from the tender person to some officer. I hope some action should be taken and the nexus should be exposed. My contact number is [protected]. I also tried to call to DRM office, Howrah[protected] on 14.02.2014 around 4:47 PM four times. No body picked up the phone.

    I am a daily passenger of Sealdah- Bongaon section i always try to catch the 9:48 down Bongaon local from Guma and every day i get it in proper time, but the problem is after reaching Durganagar its become disgusting and the train moves like a Tortoise and that is the pick hour for office, college students, so after reaching the DumDum Cant the train takes more than 35 min (around 40 min) to reach Bidhan Nagar Rode station.So my question is why rail way authority is not resolving this problem??? why we are paying money to do dance party. now a days its become so bad that many people talks about many bad languages for this thing which i cant express right now in this public place, why we are facing this problem since the earlier day when first Sealdah-Bongao section railway, when ever we speaks about this problem they always talks that we are thinking but when they will take steps which can only know Allah.I think till the dooms day they will say that we are planning to do, we are planning to do but when??? After the dooms day when every body will left this world. So i want to say that take any serious steps for it ...

      I was suppose to travel from NDLS to BBS by train 02816 on 13/Jan/2014 along with my parents. The train was more than 12 hours late and hence I had cancelled the tickets due to odd hour departure time. Infact I cancelled the trip. I filed the TDR well within time and IRCTC shows the status as Filed. However no refund has been provided yet. IRCTC only supports the filing of TDR they are not responsible for the lazy processing at Railways end. I don't understand whom to approach in this regard. Kindly take up my complaint with Indian Railways (destination station was Bhubhaneswar so to be processed by SE Railways).         Sub: Railway police rejecting to file FIR on stolen Ornaments from train

        I would like to submit the following matter for your kind consideration and request immediate action.

        My wife and in-laws travelled in train no.16232, Mysore-Mayiladuthurai Express from Bangalore to Mayiladuthurai on 20.01.2014 in coach no: B1, 400 grams of gold ornaments were stolen from my suitcase.We gave a complaint in Mayiladuthurai Railway police station, but I regret to inform that police is rejecting to file FIR. Without filing FIR I cannot expect police to take action in our case.I hereby plead to your good office to kindly instruct the concerned police authorities to file FIR and take necessary action in investigate on this matter.

          I am travelling 2-3 times in a month with indian railways meanwhile i use indore railways authorised parking service here i face following problems :- 1. No receipt is provided. 2. Demand for illegal parking charges based on no of days or extra night charges or sometimes different day charges. 3. Did not charge on the basis of hours or so always demand for more than actual money to be paid. 4. When not paid excess charges they demand they warn not to park there. Soon i am going to complain at higher level in written please do the needful as soon as possible.I am waiting for quick reply.

            Respected Sir, Jan shatabdi train (Train No.1208) that runs between Trivandrum and Kannur in Kerala is consistently late by almost 1 hour during Fridays when there is huge rush of passengers during weekend. Due to this passengers from Tirur, Calicut and Kannur are finding it difficult to get vehicles from railway station to their homes.There is no improvement after repeated complaints from passengers. If 'Jan shatabdi' train which is supposed to be a high priority & high speed train, is getting delayed as normal train, why do Railways charge the additional fare, (which is more than express train fare) from passengers. The passengers feels cheated and are moving towards buses and other modes of transport. Why do we need super fast trains if Indian Railways can't run it efficiently. If this train was to run efficiently, its overall schedule running time can be decreased by half an hour. There are huge set of people especially from Malabar region depending on this train. Lets hope that Indian Railways do something that will benefit the citizens of this democratic nation relying on trains. Jai Hind.

              Dear Sir,
              Sub: Request; expedite Police investigation on stolen Gold Ornaments from TRAIN
              I am an ex service man, aged 71 years. I would like to submit the following matter for your kind consideration and request immediate action.
              On 17th January 2014, along with my wife, while traveling in TRAIN NO: 16562, Kochuveli – Yeswantpur Express on coach No: B8 from Palakkad to Bangalore, 400 Grams of Gold Ornaments were stolen from my suitcase.
              I strongly suspect that the theft must have occurred between Coimbatore and Erode. An FIR was lodged by us at Cantonment Railway Police station – Bangalore, vide FIR No: 0005 dated 18/01/2014. The FIR, according to the police, any further action could take a month.
              It is quiet unfortunate that even AC compartments have become easily accessible for burglars. Also, no protection force were there in the train.
              The Gold ornaments belong to my daughter in law. The Theft has completely shattered my peace of mind and I am undergoing severe mental anguish. I hereby plead to your good office to kindly instruct the concerned authorities to expedite the investigation on this matter.

                With your medium I would like to state my complain on INDIAN RAILWAY TTE. I had booked my ticket from RAJMUNDRI (RJY) To HOWRAH (HWH) by COROMANDAL EXP 12842 but due to late in arriving at station we boarded in General Coach, at next station when i board to reserved coach I found TTE has already alloted my ticket to other passenger instead of waiting for next station and pronounced my ticket invalid for berth and asked me travel in general coach. I had suffered problem as i was travelling with family and laggage. finally we managed to get two another berth but by paying him. Please help me for judgement

                  This is complain about pantry car . Name of person who supervising pantry car was mr. Sandesh yaday & he was taking rs 10 per cup of tea & food (Lunch& dinner ) rs.100/ per food . When i say to him he replied me me it is orders by our contractor so nothing is going to happen (Ye to aisa hi hai sab log currupt hai aisa hi chalta hai ) .The people like him is destroying our society sir when will we awake .                     With greetings, The MST Pass-holders traveling in Vidarbha Express train from nagpur to Gondia and Up & Down daily. This train has only Four Gemeral coaches for Monthly Season Ticket holders (M.S.T. Pass-holders), which are actually not sufficient. Hence, many of the Pass-holders have to stand and travel, in other 2nd Class seating coaches. And these Pass-holders do not harass or disturb any other co-passengers. In spite of this fact, at Only Anand Railway station, the Railway Polic staff forces them out of the coaches and fine them with very rudely. In this process, very crucial morning hour time is being wasted and the Pass-holders are not able to reach to their respective work and offices on time. So Sir, we all would like to request you to increase Coaches for Monthly Season Ticket holders or allow us to stand and travel in 2nd Class seating coaches, without harassing or disturbing other co-passengers, till such an arrangement is made. Kindly do the needful in this above said matter and oblige.

                          I filed TDR on IRCTC on 21.07.2013 and thereafter I have sent 5 reminders but as of now I did not receive refund amount. I got following reply from IRCTC. (My PNR nos are [protected] and [protected]) Dear Customer, Sorry for the inconvenience.Kindly note that your refund case of PNR No.[protected] has been forwarded to CCM/ER Railway on 21-Jul-2013 .We have already issued Reminders on 05-Oct-2013 and 08-Nov-2013 to concerned railway to chase up the case.But despite reminders refund is yet to be received from the concerned railway.Now we have sent another reminder on 6-January-2014 with all the papers pertaining to your refund case to concerned railway to chase up the cases.                             On[protected] I was travelling from Mumbai to Nagercoil and I found 2 Railway Canteen Staffs providing 'Alcohol' in packets, tat too secretly to the passengers who asked for it. And I found another staff, mixing it with coca cola and taking the stuff to another compartment. Too sad, tat I never thought our Canteen Staffs will be so cheap like this, being a cause for the discomfort of other passengers. And also on 1-1-2014 when I returned from Nagercoil to Mumbai, I saw the staffs taking order for alcohol, as if taking order for food items. They carry it in black carry bags. And they were not wearing their badge. It should be made compulsory to wear their badge with ID/Name. Kindly avoid such. How can we trust our Indian Railway Canteen Staffs again. Hope they wont mix alcohol with any food or drink items, for any kind of theft purpose. Thankyou.

                              Looting spree at 12908 Sampark kranti Express. Sir, I travelled from Delhi to Bandra (T) by 12908 Sampark kranti Express leaving HZM Station on 30th December in AC 3 Tier. The tea vendors from the Pantry car was charging Rs.7/- from the passengers whereas it is mentioned Rs.5/- at Pantry. The quantity was just half of the cup which should be 170 ml as per the law. They were not returning Rs.3/- if you pay ten rupee note. The most horrified charge was “bread Omelette”. They were flatly charging Rs.50/- whereas, it is just Rs. 21/- to 25/-as per railway`s rate. The charge of simple lunch was Rs.120/- which is just Rs. 40/- as per the rate of IRCTC. After crossing Vadodara station, the passengers just started protesting for this over charging and looting to the helpless passengers. The Pantry car people refused to hand over the Complaint book but agreed to refund the excess amount. But the concerned staffs hide in order to avoid the agitated passengers. It is ridiculous. Moreover, there was no liquid soap inside the toilets. As per the attendants, it is discontinued in Sampark kranti. W.R. Management are you taking it seriously?

                                Sir, i booked my ticket online on 23rd Dec 2013, through my ID, but 'www.irctc.co.in' did not book my ticket due to some server/technical problem, for this transaction Rs.691.24 has been deducted from my Axis Bank (internet banking account) account, after 48 hour i checked my bank account but i did received the deducted amount, Today, on 1st Jan.2014, i checked my Irctc user id account, they shown the payment has been settled (refunded) in Axis bank, on 26th Dec.2013 through receipt no.13322622, once again i checked my Axis bank account but the same amount has not been credited to me, kindly guide me what to do?where would i lodge my complaint?

But I have received part payment only(50%). I have complained to IRCTC and they ask me to raise complaint on "http://customercare.indianrailways.gov.in/criscm/home.seam" portal. I raise the complaint on 29/10/2013 (Complaint Reference Number : W/CC/CCC/[protected]. But the complaint status is still pending. Please let me know "how to proceed further??" Subject :- Request for refund of fare of two persons (wife & son) on ‘ e ticket’ of four persons as their ticket was automatically cancelled being waitlisted on e ticket . Ref :- E ticket PNR no.[protected], Date of journey[protected], Train No 12834, class II Raipur to Surat, On ticket of four persons only two persons travelled. Other two passengers not by conductor being waiting listed on e ticket. Sir/Madame I had purchased e ticket( PNR [protected], IIAC ) for traveling from Raipur to Surat by Tn. No.12834 for journey on[protected] for four persons ( self, wife, son & daughter.) On day of journey only one berth was confirmed, as such I ( M.K.Shukla) along with minor daughter had travelled on the e-ticket from Raipur to Surat, Leaving behind at Raipur my wife Darshni M Shukla & son C.M. Shukla ( as not allowed by conductor being excess in W/L passenger). There was no time to obtain guards certificate as all time available during halt was consumed in failed attempt to convince the train conductor. The remaining two persons (wife & son) travelled back to BSP with hope of getting VIP quota from there. These persons could not travel on 23-05-13 being wait listed passenger (PNR no [protected] trans id [protected]. 2nd ac) BSP to Surat and finally travelled ex BSP to Surat on 24-05-13 in SL class by Train no 12834 from BSP to Surat vide pnr no [protected], trans id no [protected]. It was requested to kindly arrange refund for ‘e ticket’ fare of two persons ( Wife Darshni M Shukla and son Chinmay M Shukla) as they were not allowed to travel being wait listed on the e- ticket of four passenger. In this connection IRCTC guide lines (as advertised by Railway Administration in Railway Time table page C-28 effective from[protected] for wait- listed passengers in case of e-tickets is reproduced below for ready reference :- All wait listed tickets booked in this scheme are automatically cancelled at the time of charting .The passengers will not be required to make any request for cancellation of waitlisted tickets. The refund amount will be credited automatically to the User’s account by IRCTC within specified period and passengers informed electronically immediately after cancellation. I have been asked in your previous correspondence to produce “Not travel certificate” for my wife and son which was not issued by TC/conductor mentioning on above ruling. The copy of TC chart obtained from you showing word ‘NT’ ( not travelled) against name of my wife and son obtained (under Right to Information from your office) is already submitted in my registered letter dated[protected]. It is further requested to kindly credit in my account the fare for my wife (D.M.Shukla) and son (C.M.Shukla) at an earliest as per your own guide lines advertised in Time table without further harassment as sufficient time had already lapsed.                                       On 9th December 2013, My bike (pulsar 180) was sent from Chandigarh for Mangalore Junction Railway Station.
                                      It has been more than 3 weeks and my bike has not been delivered yet . I am not able to track the whereabouts of my bike.
                                      Station authorities bluntly without having any manners reply that its not part of their job tracking the consignment .
                                      I would request you to look into the matter immediately and I want my bike in perfect condition without any damage.
