Do not know who suggested to revamp the online site as the new site is not at all user friendly (If i say this decently)

1. Why does it ask for security code? No idea (Probably only to waste time during login and also in the midst of ticket booking)
2. Previously there was an option to see the booked ticket history and from there itself — print, cancel, check pnr was available. Now even if we go to book ticket, it gives an option of pnr check but then it goes to a page where we have to put the pnr. Now from where do i get the pnr?
3. Previously there was not so many ads when list of trains were displayed. Today after each train name there is an ad. So frustrating

The feeling is that
1. This was revamped just to favour some software vendor
2. This was revamped to delay the process of ticket booking so that agent are able to book faster
3. This was revamped so that to favour those brands who wants to advertise even while someone is in hurry to book train tickets
4. Was revamped basically to make the life hard for the users even if they just want to check the pnr
5. Was revamped by someone who has never in the past or never in the future will travel by train of even if he does so, he might not book the ticket by this website.

Very very bad experience

    I am Haseena, a teacher from Kerala. When I am travelling in train no. 16188 from ERS to NCR, one officer named INTHIYAS from Trichy station asked my Id proof. Unfortunatly I didn't have Id. He mentally harassed me tolding dog and fanatic and misbehavior to me with in front of other passengers. My pnr. Is [protected]. Sir, he didn't have any manner to behave against women. So I request you to take action against him to insulting women passengers.

    Sir, I booked my parcel from PUNA railway parcel office on 28 July 2018 with E123045 from PUNE to HAZRAT NIZAMUDDIN NEW DELHI .Till date my parcel is not received & when I contact them, they said we were contacting .same answer was said last THREE days.my TWO WEHELER MOTOR CYCLE in this parcel Thanks sir.

      Dear sir,
      We parked our car at Jaipur railway junction parking in morning 9/8/2018
      When we come return in night at 1:30am they charged us from 3/8/2018 to 10/8/2018.
      And when we saw their tocken that people do Gali Galoch and torn our tocken.
      That people also charged GST we demand bill than they people said "yaha koi bill nhi hai aaye NARENDRA MODI k" and 7 to 8 people came and do Gali - Galoch, hathapai and We were only 2 person.
      Than we gave 1000rs .
      Please sir take strong action against them.

      Sir I am travelling in 12284 nizamuddin Ernakulam duranto experience and no one came for cleaning the bathroom and compartment. The bathroom are in a very pathetic condition. Even going to pass urine, one can not stand do a pee. Please take necessary action the housekeeping staff.

        I have booked 2 tickets for journey from bhubaneswar to howrah on 5th october, 2018 in train no.12838. Since both the tickets come under senior citizens' category, allotment of berth was made upper and middle to my utter surprise. Further, there is one lady under the same category. There fore, i request for at least one lower berth to be allotted for convenience.

          Today i booked ticket fro st thomas mount railway station booking counter to trichy.

          After reaching home i noticed instead of 4 th i hv given date as 3.9.18., (This also due to the another counter clerk'is mistake of not booking the tickets and simply watching mobile. Whom i approached first, when i asked her why you are not booking for the person who is standing/ filling the form near the counter, she replied wait after that person only i can take your form like that time was morning 8.00 am, which disturbed my mind and i approached another counter no.3)

          Immediately i went and approached supervisor for date modification, who informed since the ticket was booked by using credit card it is not possible, you hv to cancel and re book the same.

          1. If the modification of date is not possible for the tickets booking thr credit card why railways / govt, is encouraging for using the cards.

          2, is there any rule not to use cards for future modification of date. Pl confirm,

          3. Simply if it is the attitude of the supervisor / counter official due to more work involved and avoiding, please arrange to refund the amount what they charged. Ie rs.380/-

          4. If any data is available in your office, you can type my mob number / name and view how frequent travelers we are.. Even railways can consider us as a privileged travelers.

            Sir,
            At indore junction, the contractor is charging excess parking fees. He had deployed goons and thugs who doesnt have uniform or proper id cards for the same. Parking fees prescribed by railways is depicted & attached screenshot shot for same. However they are charging excessive fees. For max. 24 hours railways had prescribed fees of rs 5 for a motor bike. However theese goons are demanding rs 20 for 4 hours. While questioned they charged against me. A rpf officer was witness for the same. His timely action saved me from these goons. He further requested me to file a complaint to station master.

            my doubt is whether i should book ticket or waiting for any confirmation because it is already more than 8 hrs from booking, .

              At gujarat, rajkot, bhaktinagar railway station contractor of parking has been charged parking charges to people who are come for inquiry or ticket booking at railway station. This premises is very big and parking space allotted to contractor. When people comes for inquiry or ticket booking contractor force fully charged the parking charge for rs.10/- when not park in parking area allotted to him.
              So i request to you sir, please arrange separate space for parking for who are comes for inquiry or ticket booking.
              In earlier i also complaint for the same but still not solve.

                This is to kindly inform you that we had taken permission for our film shooting at Howrah station, Princep Ghat Station, Majherhat Station and Howrah Burdwan Local Train during December 2017.
                With your utmost support the shoot was completed successfully. We hereby requested the CPRO to refund the security deposit of Rs 5, 00, 000 ( Five Lacs only) that was given by the mode of demand draft.
                Demand draft details are as follows:
                In the name of : FA and CAO EASTERN RAILWAY KOLKATA
                AMOUNT: Rs 5, 00, 000 ( FIVE LACS)
                Date : 13/12/2017
                DD Number : 404613
                BANK NAME : ANDHRA BANK, BALLYGUNJE BRANCH, Kolkata
                We first made a request for the refund of this security deposit on 29th January 2018 (snapshot attached). Despite all our efforts nothing happened following which we personally went to Howrah DRM and got the clearance. Sealdah was only forthcoming after a second reminder from the CPRO’s office as late as 16th July 2018 (Snapshot attached). The said clearance was only received on 1st August 2018 (attached).
                The CPRO then issued a letter addressed to the Sr. AFA (Exp) with a Payorder no 195628(snapshot attached) for the release of the security deposit and we were told that the funds would be deposited within 2 working days. I therefore request you to kindly look into the matter and do the needful. Its been a long wait for a small company like us leading us into great difficulties.

                  I ram my complete about in the railjourney 3 gen candidates every station asking for money.
                  For example i start journey like 600 km in for way every 50- 100km the 3 gen candidates asking money other way there doing something i don't want explain it thing about you...

                    On 3rd august `18, 12860 geetanjali express was side
                    Lined at titwala. God knows why such action was taken! It was so
                    Slow up to kalyan station and hence the already late 12860 was further
                    Delayed by 90 mts!!
                    Hence the total delay was more than 3.5 hours!!
                    We can not not understand why this train was sidelined instead of
                    Given preference as it was already delay by 2 hours!!
                    The passengers were exhausted, hungry, tired to reach at their home
                    After the journey of 36 hour!! We feel the culprits who made it
                    Further delayed should be removed from the job.
                    It is because the officers in the c. Rly are inefficient and don`t
                    Know how to tackle the situation.
                    What to say more? All such mismanagement can be stopped within a day.

                      I booked 2 tickets in mas ncj express (06007) to travel on 7th aug 2018 but the ticket was not booked as it shows "passenger not in the same coach". The ticket rate is rs. 960/-. I tried 3 times so the amount deducted was (Rs. 960*3= rs.2880). The tickets was not booked but the amount was debited from my account and the refund was also not been processed. The reference number of the transaction is[protected],[protected],[protected]. Please do needful for processing the refund amount of rs.2880/- as early as possible.

                      Actually my account is suspended almost for two month. But the reason is not cleared upto me. First I thought may be due to the number of ticket restriction. But in this month I did not do any single ticket. So why my account is till now suspended.

                        I booked my star city bike as a luggage in rajkot station to bangarpet station on 27/7/2018 with vivek express ticket. But i still not get my bike.
                        Both rajkot and bangarpet station parcel authority not taking any responsibility.
                        The person who suppose to load my bike at rajkot his name nazer ([protected])
                        The person who suooose unload my bike at bangarpet his name naresh ([protected]). But both of them not answering properly.

                        I applied for Picard for concession in railways in August 2017. I could not recieve the certificate or registration Number till date. Please do help. I wnat it as soon as possible as I am unable to book tickets online.sir as P.M. want to give us divyang people more facilities so please help me regarding this issue.                           Dear sir,
                          Today 03.08.18 i had to travel from jodhpur to merta road in morning by jodhpur bhopal exp and had parked my bike in jodhpur railway station parking yard. I have returned back and picked my vehicle at 3 pm evening.
                          The contractor gave me a receipt in which it is clearly mentioned 4 hrs parking rs.5/- and 12 hrs parking is rs.10/- but the contractor has charged me rs. 20/- for just 7 hrs and when i argued with the employee he said we charge rs.20/- only and spoken with me in bad language.
                          I said i will complaint this matter to above authorities then he says complaining people have been dead and you may also.
                          I request you to take severe action against this contractor so that the public should not be harrassed by them.

                              I would like to bring your kind notice that we have booked a two wheeler parcel from sec bad to allahabad station vide prr no: [protected] on 31.07.2018 and paid total charges. But it is surprised that the consignment has not been delivered at allahabad. The loading staff said that this was loaded in train no: 07091 (Raxaul spacial train).

                              After taking up with sec abd staff that this was unloaded at jabalpur stantion.

                              You are requested to do the urgent needful to deliver the two wheeler at allahabad rly station at the earliest.

                                  I'm travelling from howrah to Jaipur. We are approx. 18-19 persons including childrens. While travelling one child was suffering from fever and we asked for medical treatment . But we found a bad behaviour by you are railway department. One person came from checking the child and he gave some medicines. Then he asked for 150rs after that we asked for reciept then he asked for 200rs . He was arguing with as for reciept. We told him that you should give us medical reciept we will give us money. But he refuse for giving any kind of reciept with medicine name...
                                  and you are railway department warned as for leaving train before reaching Jaipur...
                                  We want that reciept with medicine names withg doctors name and contact no. then we will give you are medical charge...

                                  Rude behaviour to all passengers.she must be warned for his behaviour.passangers are not servants or slaves for her.

                                  We have booked our seats in sleeper and got confirmed. Unfortunately 3 of girls our family members not got seat confirmed. So we take open ticket and planned to accommodate in our seats.as the trip is short period (4 hours). Whe TTE came for check we got our tickets checked and informed since other are girls we cannot able to send them to unreseved coach.with no time she replied in rude way no we cannot able to accept ask them to move to unreserved.

                                  Again we informed we can give penalty or if you have any seats pl confrim us. By the time almost 2 hrs of our journey over. She again started shouting in rude way no we cannot able to accept this makes distrubance to other passengers.

                                  But actually until she came there is pure silence in compartment and all are started sleeping. After she started shouting like barking dog. All compartment started watching us and she started created sceans to show all she is disciplines in her duty.

                                  She stopped barking only when one of the guy agree that he will go to unreserved instead of girls.

                                  Even in midnight TTE also women but she is not giving protection to women.

                                  Inhumanity behaviour.

                                    In reference to the above subject, i sent a mail everyday to [protected]@irctc.co.in. I even cleared cache, delete the history, closed and open the browser, restarted the system and nothing works. I tried from different locations in usa as well as in canada. There is no proper response from irctc to resolve this issue. If you still have doubt, please check with your friends or relatives living in usa to check the website. Kindly put your influence and help resolve this issue. People like me who plans to book tickets for their vacation will be thankful.

                                      Train No.57687 from Nizamabad to Kacheguda runs late every day. The departure time is 14.25 but it leaves every day at 15.45 or 16 Hrs. It never starts on time. This is causing big wastage of time to passengers and vendors.
                                      The train has 2 hours slack time. Hence it reaches kacheguda on time.
                                      But the passengers and vendors time is hugely wasted because of the uncertain schedule.
                                      It would be great service if you kindly change the departure time of the train from 14.25 to 16.00 Hrs. So that all the vendors and passengers can catch the train. It will be very helpful to the people of many stations like Kamareddy etc.
                                      Indian Railways customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                      Train no 22840 running late in daily basis.

                                        I am writing on this platform for the very first time, to bring to your notice a big loophole in the irctc system.

                                        I was scheduled to travel with my wife and daughter on a business cum pleasure trip to mumbai from kota under pnr no. [protected], dated 27th july'18, it was a wait listed ticket. Finally when the chart got prepared, only my wife's ticket got confirmed, but myself and my daughter remained wait listed - wl1, wl2.

                                        As i mentioned above, it was a business trip and i was scheduled for a meeting, so it was the most important for me to reach mumbai. But, for whatever reason, confirmation came only for my wife. Hotel was booked and all other meetings such as school and housing etc were all lined up. Sir, i don't want to write down the amount of ordeal we had to go through.
                                        What is the logic behind partial ticket confirmation. It's such a logical thing to either you confirm all the tickets issued in one pnr or do not confirm any, is adequate number of seats aren't available. Rather allot that one seat to such pnr, wherein only one passenger is travelling. Your staff says, it's computerized. But i am sure that you understand the computers do not have their own intelligence. Machines only follow the programmed instructions.
                                        On the top of it, the height of irrational, torturous practices of indian railways, was when next day when my wife rajni sharma called up, she was told that although the two passengers were wait listed, no refund will be paid as we failed to file a tdr and the deadline of filing the tdr has lapsed. Are you people in your full senses??? How do you expect a person to leave all his travel plan, after an last minute news from irctc, and start focusing on filing the tdr. Wait listed lockers are not at all allowed to travel. The refund needs to come by default. You can check from your own records that passenger 2: surinder suman and passenger 3: abhilasha sharma suman, did not travel at all. You can refer to the record sheet of your tte in that train. You took the money for providing travel service, which you failed to provide citing seat unavailability. Now refund needs to either at its own or i will file the tdr in a reasonable amount of time. You cannot expect a passenger to leave everything aside and stand in the que to file tdr there and then. Rather he would be looking at some alternate arrangement to travel after being ditched by railwys at 11th hour. Request you to allow me file tdr and refund the amount of two wait listed tickets.

                                        Also, may i please request you to please issue some direction to immediately discontinue this ridiculous practice/system of partial confirmation for passengers in one pnr. We don't go out with all mohalla on a journey in one pnr. Normally, one pnr will have a family, or two office colleagues or two friends. By what imagination, somebody finds it logical to confirm one passenger and leave the other, in the same ticket. Disgusting is the only word which comes in mind.
                                        I am sure, no it programme is so helpless that such petty, but very logical problem, can't be resolved. Hope, you will ask the officers concerned to look into this and resolve.
                                        I will be, very hopefully, looking for a reply and a solution.

                                        Most of the seats( chaircar) are broken..no cleaning, bad odour, no maintenance, railway staffs are not co operating.most of the AC outlets are broken..please take necessary steps immediately..PNR no - [protected]
