The ridiculous, infinitely stupid and mentally challenged staff of indigo did not allow me and my sister to check in because we did not carry the id from which we booked the ticket. They do not allow such unforseen accidents, like losing an id the same day. They made up some alternate flimsy pretext of wanting my fathers id on whatsapp, who is a Brigadie, , by the time my dad somehow made it home and forwarded me the picture which was not even required. The gates closed and they did not let us enter!! THEY DID NOT TELL US WHETHER the futile attempt to make my father whatsapp me a bloody picture of an id would be succesful, they just watched us do all this, did not suggest we refund, and finally told us we wasted our time. The most uncooperative, bloody rude people i have ever met. They make the government clerks seems much much well mannered and well informed. They could have let us through, they did not. Giving the pretext of some alleged id mismatch!! I had three different ids starting my father is in degence, in active service. But it did not budge them. They plainly refused to let us enter. We are kids!! Barely a threat or ba fraud i would say. I curse you with bankruptcy Indigo. May your rude imbecile pathetic staff go to hell.

    On 17Dec 15 a ticket was booked from kolkata to chennai. Money was deducted from sbi a/c and transaction id is 6201c3f420b[protected]. However reservation could not be done due to tech error. I got a message that the money will be refunded within 3-4 days. But 6 days has passed and i have not got the refund.

      My name is Ravin Kumar, I must say that you people make a fool out of your customers.
      My younger brother is an Army personnel and supposed to take a flight (with his friend) from Bangalore to Jaipur today in the morning. Your so called, flight was initially scheduled at 6:10 am, but due to certain internal reasons you people have rescheduled that after 55 mins (7:05 am). You people have sent a mail regarding the same, but haven't mentioned about the closure of the boarding gates. My brother reached airport somewhat around 6 am. After reaching there, he got to know that the boarding gates are closed. How the hell a customer get to know that what is the exact time of the closure of boarding gates. We thought if the flight is rescheduled after 55 mins. then the gates will also be rescheduled. But guess what we got, its 5:25 am time when boarding gates closed, almost 1 hr and 40 mins before the flight. Which air service do that so. Do you people provide a plane service or a train service that if you have only mentioned departure time. What do you people think, that customer can board a plane by just running into the airport 5 mins before. What do we do with that departure time? It should be for the pilots not for the passengers, you should have told us that what time should we reach there, instead of that about departure and all. we have reached there almost an hour ago and what we got NOTHING. Due to a foolish services given by you people, both of them have missed their flight.

      And after all these you representatives are asking more 4000 bucks to book an another flight in the evening, they didn't even bothered at all. Just sitting there and chilling not even are listening properly. I never expected a service like that from a firm which provides Air Services.

        Hi, I have been traveling from past 4-5 years with Indigo airlines and time and again received the best services. But to my surprise, last Friday (18th December) when I was traveling from Hyderabad to Delhi (flight 6E 684), I got highly disappointed. My luggage weighted more than the allowed limit. I purchased some sweets and cookies worth 2000₹ for my family. I paid 2500₹ for the extra weight and specifically mentioned the Indigo staff at the counter that it would be good if I carry those in my cabin bag instead of luggage. Despite insisting and requesting your staff over there to let me take it in my cabin bag, they didn’t allow me. I very firmly asked them that it might get crushed in luggage as the handling is ruff. They argued in the most assertive way that the luggage would be handled carefully. I told them that it would be a total waste of my money if not taken care of luggage well and insisted them again to let me take it in my cabin bag as I have already paid for extra luggage. I am highly disappointed and in fact got saddened by the services when I unpacked my baggage and saw my money got wasted. The sweets and cookies which I specially purchased from a famous bakery in Hyderabad and that too worth 2000₹ were crushed. Not even in condition to present or offer someone. Moreover, the money I paid for extra luggage, 2500₹, all in vain, wasted. I am highly disappointed with the services and staff. I used to travel and recommend Indigo to my family as well, but such experience left me in bewilderment and moreover saddened. Disappointed with services plus the money which got wasted.           I am a frequent traveler with Indigo Airlines, I booked a flight for 20th DEC 2015 at 18:50 flight # 6E 628, but unfortunately reached the airport at 18:44 because of the heavy traffic issues in Mumbai and futher more my mother is a super senior citizen. I was asked to report the incident to the Indigo support staff who would accommodate 5 o[censored]s to the next available flight, but the support staff said the ticket was non refundable as it was a sale purchase ticket. My claim is that while booking the ticket or no where on the printed ticket this clause of non refundability has been mentioned.             BRAVO Indigo!!! New business trick I guess. I hope that in near future I will see a MBA institute in name of Indigo and the silver line of the institute will be "get Rhino skin make success". I made web check-in just previous day at night and as per instruction we suppose to reach airport by 6:45 am. We were 5, amongst 5 3 were senior citizens. We reached at 6:25 am and at 6:30 we were at queue. Within 2 min an Indigo ground staff came to us and took us to the counter. At counter that Indigo official took 10 minutes and after that he said we can't check in. We had few dialogue and this took away 5 minutes more. Surprisingly at 6:55 am he said the flight left which is schedule to be depart at 7:15 am. Even on the day of travelling I received a sms from Indigo which states that passengers should reach counter 20 minutes before flight departure time. What we met very well. So from a very normal IQ level the fore most thing which surfaces my mind is Indigo has sold the same tickets to others and by any means Indigo had to stop us from boarding. I understand we were most soft target because 3 senior citizens and 3 ladies made us look little weak as group. I loose more than Rs.22000 and Indigo does not bother to compensate that which I now understand very normal. In addition Indigo staffs suggest us to buy new tickets which will cost nearly Rs.58000. Then I got Indigo's intension or the business plan.

              Dear Sir, I had done a group booking for 7 passengers for my daughter's marriage through travel agent for Indigo flt 6E523 from Pune to Kolkata on 09 Dec 15. The travel agent had booked 5 passengers including a minor child whose DOB is 17/3/12 under booking reference FFGU4B for Rs 35535/-. The travel agent had inadvertently used the alias name for the minor child as Kushi Chakravorty. At the check-in counter inspite of producing the birth certificate of the Child as Aradhya Chakravorty and the adhaar card of the Father and mother the same seat was reissued under booking reference LGNYUS and charged Rs 16, 507/-. This has caused us not only mental harassment but also charged Rs 16, 507/- extra for the same seat booked earlier.                 I am sorry to bring to your kind notice that today i.E 20 / Dec / 2015. My wife and my Infacnt Kid were coming from Delhi to stay with me in hyderabad. And i booked your flight no. 6e -765.


                My wife and my Kid reached the Counters counters at 3. 18 am against the time to board at 5:10 am but they were denied to board the flight reason that my wife missed the kid's birth certificate.


                Your ground staff was very rude; they harassed my wife and kid and also misbehaved at the airport. They forced her to stay at airport for 10 hours and also forced her to pay Rs 20, 340 extra to board the next flight.


                This was a really terrible and horrifying experience for me and i caused a lot of stress and mental pressure on me as i am a patient of high blood pressure and sugar.

                It is a fact that most of the domestic airlines have poor front line people in the counter. They are not properly trained to handle customers and lack the attitude to be helpful to the passengers. Most of them are rude in their behaviour. It is time these airlines address these issues.

                  Dear Sir/ Madam, I had booked four ticket vide pnr no F2TGQL for the journey fro Bengalore to Varanasi & back on 22 Nov & 30 Nov respectively. During my onward journey on 22 Nov 15 i was bound to drop my daughter miss Pratigya journey because of her examination . While check in I requested to cancel her ticket but i was told to contact enquiry counter, there I got one ticket cancelled (onward + return) for my daughter Vide pnr no X2H1KR and i was told to contact customer care office on mobile No [protected] where i was told that a sum of Rs 2000/-(Rs 400/- for onward + Rs 1600/-for return journey) will be credited to my a/c whereas only Rs 1601/- was credited to my a/c. Again i approached twice to customer care No stated above but till today balance ammount of Rs 400 is not credited to my a/c. Request do need full at the earliest.

                    It was 26th September, 15 and a huge rush in the indigo check in counter. Me n my husband n mother in law were half n hour ahead of check in close time when we joined the queue. Our flight details: Indigo 6E219, departure time:7:15 am. Trip id : [protected], PNR : TY3UWW. But by the time we reached the check in counter only 4-5 mins were left. Since I was shifting to hometown for a long maternity break and had excess baggage we were asked to pay extra. It was only the time required to take the money out for payment for excess luggage that the gentleman in the counter said that check in has closed. We requested him a lot and he called up the concerned immediately twice but still we were denied check in just due to 1-2 mins delay. We had expected a minimum level of tolerance for such incidents where a passenger misses a flight only to complete the check in procedure. He could have stopped the next passenger to check in but we were at the counter before time and still denied the flight even though it was due to procedural delay. We are a regular indigo flier but this incident has left us aghast. We had to pay a change fee which was almost equivalent to book a new flight for three persons and shell out an unnecessary ₹16000/- . Initially I tried to forget the incident by taking the blame on us but on discussion with several people we learnt that airlines generally allow such cases.                       Employees of indigo airline Mr. Surendra and Chandan not issued boarding pass and abuse my wife after argument on the issue of luggage. Flight no 6E 237 jai-ccu[protected] .lastly forcibly stopped us to take flight even I was travelling with valid ticket.i was requested to just issue boarding pass but they harassed us. Kindly take necessary action and register my complaint.

                          I was travelling from Imphal to Guwahati on 11 December 2015 through your flight no. 6E 222. My luggage was measured as 19 kg for which your representative has charged Rs 1000/- from me vide receipt no. [protected] dated 11 December 2015. I had requested several times to waive off of the amount which has not been agreed by your representatives. In this connection, I wish to state that I have traveled many times with your airlines in the recent past without any baggage (except cabin baggage) and sometimes with minimal baggage. If you have any doubt in relation to my journey in your airlines, you can check your passenger history with my above email id (not mobile no. because I had also traveled with another mobile no. [protected]). On an average, if I had traveled 5 times in the recent times, i had not availed my entitlement of 75kg (5*15) worth Rs 18, 750/- (250*75). I had waived luggage worth Rs 18, 750/- to you but you failed to consider Rs 1000/-. If you really want better customer service and your airline is to be preferred first while travelling, you are requested to consider the above facts and return Rs 1000/- to me. If you fail to return my Rs 1000/-, I shall be forced to explore the alternatives.                             Hi, I am writing to let you know that i had a very bad experience with Indigo airlines today! I had my relatives visit me and i choose to book flight with Indigo keeping in mind the kind of good experience i had earlier . However, my expectation was all shattered today. I am not sure if writing to you would make a difference but i wanted to ensure that you are aware as how little things affect customer. I had a booking for today`s flight with PNR# UYS9VW for 2 passangers 1. Chandan Chetteri 2. Siddharth Rai It was the first time were travelling in flight so i booked them indigo flights. The flight was to depart was Bangalore to bagdogra. Due to weather condition the flight from kolkata was cancelled. I do understand that this was something that Indigo could not control but there was lot of things that could have been better. Firstly no proper communication was done! all that they knew was the flight was cancelled. It was a stopover to Kolkata so they knew no one and was totally new to the city. But no ground staff helped them. All that they kept saying was that no flight will take over. They asked as what next and the response was please find alternative way as even the next day flight was full. Now, if we do last minute booking, Indigo ensures that we pay a good amount but if it is last minute cancellation then Indigo does nothing to help the customer. I would have understood if they were boarding the flight from Kolkata itself but no..it was via flight. They had no where to go and had limited amount of money to even get to any hotels. In such scenario whom are we to seek for help! In fact without even seeking help, indigo should be concerned for the passengers and help them. I called customer care and they told me that they cannot do anything and to connect to ground staff. if no one is ready even to provide pointers whom do we reach out to? Lastly, i had to seek help from public forum so that they get some place to stay and take next day travel. Even when we requested to send them back to bangalore, they refused! Now, after so much of hassle and stress that we had to go through, i need to know what action is it that you are planning to take? And why is it that you will not refund me the entire journey fare? half journey was of no use to us. In fact this only make us more helpless as the city that you left us without help us total stranger. I do not know your policies but i would want proper response and entire fare refund form you. I hope that you understand what difficulties we had to go through because of one cancellation and all that i am asking is what i have given you. Regards, Dawa Lama

                              This happened on Sunday 13th Dec. On my flight from Delhi (6E805) to Bangalore . By Baggage was severely damaged . And it is purely case of mishandling or careless handling of the bag. If a hardtop suitcase can be damaged you can imagine ! Wrote to them on their SMS no reply written them a mail revert yet to come! For group booking and business their are Email IDs for complaints an online form !

                                  1. Flt no. E-45t, kolkata to via agartala ghy, time 13.55pm. 2. The concerned persons of indigo did not board me as i reached in the gate no. 23 around 1.47 pm but the attendant denied after calling to the concerned person. The approach was very and highly casual. 3. It clearly showed that the management wants money only and that s why the girl i.E., attendant approached me to get the ticket for the next flt as re-accommodation arrangement. Flt no. 6e-292, gate no. 19, time 16.25pm. 4. Question arises prima-facie that without announcing my name how they charged fare for another flight. This is a clearly a case of gross violation in providing services. Moreover, the man sit in in the counter wanted to know that there was an announcement made and wanted to proof for me. 5. You please see that the person who roams frequently do they have that much of time to produce the evidences..Really sorry to say that you people are running behind the money...I am sure that one day your business may go down, if these kind circumstances cripple further. You people know that negative information gallops the market easily at a very faster rate then the positive incidents. These are the backbone of our nature as human being. 6. I have lost two important business hours..And the behaviour was really disappointed. 7. This is the only time that i am lodging a complain rather i had faced lot of such situations due to mis-behaviour trather in-human behaviour. Incident occurred during 2010-11 when there was a delay due to bad weather etc. Person was punjabi with good health but stubborn behaviour. M also trying to discuss with higher authority freinds and relatives who are in a very big position... It is decided that such incident should be measured appropriately.. Regards,

                                    I have tried booking a ticket in Indigo flight 6E-425 for 15th December. The amount of Rs.13328 has been deducted from the account but the ticket has not been booked.The transaction id is ET[protected] and has been paid by SBI master debit card on 13th December on 9:26 pm.The passenger name is OISHIK BANERJI. When I have called their help desk after listening to the complain they said it will take 10 working days to resolve the issue.Even after giving the transaction Id they are not sure of the transaction. Please help with a quick solution as I need t book the ticket for 15th December so that the deducted amount is refunded asap so as to make a new booking.                                       Sunday December 13, 2015 Client Name: Chandralekha Menon We booked a flight by mistake on Indigo (we wanted a 10.15pm flight, we booked a 10.15am flight by mistake). We realized our mistake immediately and called the airline to cancel the flight immediately to avoid incurring any cancellation charges. It is ridiculous that a mistake in booking a flight should cost so much. I have traveled around the world, and I have not seen such bad customer service anywhere. PNR :TY67SJ Desirable resolution: Cancel the ticket without any airline penalty.

                                        It was 7.30 when we reached airport this super slow lady and extremely rude one took 25 mins to provide the on boarding passes to the passengers in front o[censored]s..the moment we reached the counter she said no to us..we requested a lot but she was so stubborn..we had to pay huge amount to take the next flight..iam a frequent flyer of indigo but this time it was pathetic..how u ppl make sure that ur staff is well trained n fast..we need an answer to this..gunjan sharma [protected]@yahoo.co.in
