    I have been frequent traveller for indigo flight .I was traveling from US to Mumbai and then took Indigo flight from Mumbai to Ranchi .Indigo flight gives 15 kgs baggage limit in domestic flight and I had 21 kg of luggage with me, when I reached mumbai airport the Indigo charged me for 10kg extra weight on my ticket.I was compelled to pay Extra luggage of Rs.2500/- though I reduce few kgs of my luggage and sent it back with my relatives still I was forced to pay more than the regular baggage fee(extra 6 kgs only) .I had a very pathetic exp with indigo this time.They are showing baggage weight difference at airport and charging abruptly with innocent passengers.The staff are ill -mannered and dont have any respect for senior citizen.I suggest airport authority to keep few common weight machines (I can verify by checking my weight and my baggage weight) so that the baggage staff can not simply milk money from passengers.I will never encourage I want Indigo airlines to immediately refund Rs.2500 and stop cheating passengers in this way. I also found that many of my co passengers on the same flight had a similar experience with Indigo airlines in the past as well. If I do not get a positive response from Indigo airlines on this matter, I plan to refer this incidence to Weights and measures department, Govt. of India.

      Hi,
      I have booked on behalf of my wife and child for 8th of May at 8.50 PM flight on 12th of January. Today suddenly i got a sms saying the flight got delayed to 10 PM which will be reaching in Bangalore at 12 AM where i have to take a another flight which is at 11.50 PM.
      While discussing with customer support they suggested me to reschedule the flight by paying the cancellation fee. As a consumer my only complaint is why should we suffer when some inconvenient happens with you. I would have accepted if i would have been the passenger but its the safety for my wife and daughter which i can not compromise
      I have the early booking for the same day so i can not afford to delay the flight after 11 PM. Therefore i request you to reschedule my flight to the flight which are coming earlier on the same day without any additional charges.
      Request your quick response on the same.

        Dear Sir,
        I frequently use your flights. I booked a flight with PNR 06YWGF on 7march 2016. When I came at airport firstly I check in and take my ticket. After that I went for security check. At that point the security officer told me that they will not allow 'Ghee' inside airport. Then I went back to the Indigo ticket counter then I told the whole matter to the person who gave me ticket . He said give me your Ghee and call your relatives to take back from room no. 13. But when my relative came n ask about Ghee then they said there is no such Ghee.
        I want to inform you that its not a big issue but your employees spoil your reputation. Its your duty to take care of your customer and his belongings. After this issue I and all my relatives will never use your flights till you send me a confirmation about any action on this issue.

          Dear Sir,
          I had booked a Kochi-Mumbai ticket on Feb 23rd 2016. The booking reference number is RDI4FN. On March 9, 2016, I had to cancel the ticked. The total cost of the cancellation is Rs 4, 350.00, with the Cancel Change Fees itself Rs 3, 590.00. That is all the airline has charged me more than 70% of the cost of the ticket, when the cancellation has been done more than 1 month before the date of travel. The airline will of course cite this as “as per policy”, but nevertheless in my view as customer, this is nothing short of looting. I write with the hope (not much !!) that the airline will reduce this “charge” at least to a reasonable.

          Moreover, seeing how airlines function, this is also a hope that the airline industry seems more competition, and stricter oversight, in India, so that the interests of “aam adhmi” customers like me are safe guarded.
          Please also record this as my total dissatisfaction with Indigo.

            Sir,
            I was scheduled to baord indigo airlines flight 6E-617 from New Delhi to Visakhapatnam on[protected].The departure is at 5.40am, I was at the check in counter at 4.59am as there were no bags to checked in, I have only one cabin bag.
            Despite having 41 minutes to departure they didn't allow me to baord saying the flight is full .How was the flight is full when the passengers are due to baord the flight. They neither refund my ticket money nor arranged me a seat in the next flight I have to suffer extra cost of hotel living in New Delhi for 24hours.Really inconvenient and disappointed with indigo airlines I need a refund for the cost of the ticket .

              I have booked a ticket for two passengers on 4th March 2016 for an Indigo flight from Delhi to Bangalore for 24th April 2016 on the official website of Indigo airlines.
              Flight number- 6E 643
              Departure time- 11:00
              After confirmation of the ticket, I tried to book a ticket for 3 more passengers on the same flight but was unable to find the flight details on the website of Indigo airlines.
              Later, I tried to book the ticket for the same flight through the website makemytrip.com and found a message stating that the flight numbered 6E 643 is non operational on 24th April 2016. I immediately contacted the customer care of Indigo airlines. The customer executive stated that the flight is not operating on the above mentioned date. When I informed about my booking and asked him to arrange refund of the entire amount paid to my bank account, he asked me to hold for 2 minutes. Later, he informed me that the flight is operating and booking of tickets is closed and advised me to cancel my ticket and try booking for another flight. As per his guidance, I asked him to cancel the ticket. Later, I found out that only Rs.3258 would be refunded out of the total amount of Rs.7608. The customer care executive misguided me regarding this to avoid refund of entire amount.
              When I checked with other travel agents and websites, I was informed / found that the above mentioned flight is not operational.
              Since they have hosted a non operational flight on their website, causing losses to the customers who booked their tickets, I request you to check into this matter and advise Indigo airlines to refund of my ticket amount i.e., Rs.7608/- at the earliest..

                Today (04.03.2016) I travelled by INDIGO Airlines flight no.: 6E 591 from Vadodara to New Delhi, PNR: WGUGGE. When I reached Delhi & received the bag, I was zapped to see its handle missing. I immediately brought to the notice of INDIGO Airlines sr. staff ( I am not sure about the name but starting with A, I think Akhilesh) on duty at terminal 1C.
                To my surprise the 1st comment from INDIGO staff even before listening to me fully was " this is minor & nothing can be done." He also informed me that he cannot give me anything in writing about this complaint.
                Even he refused to note down my email id & inform on the status.

                I want resolution of my complaint & action on the negligent staff.

                  I was suppose to travel to Hyderabad from Delhi by indigo flight no 6e 305. the departure of flight was 11:50a.m. as mentioned on ticket and website.
                  Please note that I had already done my web check 6 hours before my departure.
                  We reached the counter on time, finished our security checking but the officials denied saying that the counter is closed. I, along with my parents requested them saying to allow us to board the flight as they was as urgency but in no circumstances they allowed us to move in.
                  All these discussions killed another 5 to 10 minutes.
                  We were very much disappointed with the behavior and attitude of the staff. This sort of attitude is really not deplorable. They do not have minimum etiquette as in how to speak in front of seniors.

                  I would like to question indigo that in spite of re accommodating us in the next flight why did they charge exorbitant extra amount of money from me. Also they wrote unjust comments of late arrival at counter on my boarding pass.

                  Closing the counter before time, not re accommodating the passengers within the same fare and ticket, misbehavior with the passengers is what we faced.

                  This is highly unacceptable and unethical behavior of indigo. I am writing this complaint letter to disclose such unethical standards indigo is following.

                      my mother traveled from hyd to vtz on 27 feb'16(4:50 pm flight). we booked her ticket(thru mobile app) which had an offer of free meal that day. she got it and satisfied.
                      now my issue is with the seating system. she is an 80yr old women. while check in we requested for front row(we already paid extra for that row), ur ground staff said all are booked.
                      then later when the flight doors closed 2 seats were empty. we were in second row and observing. then from some where one passenger comes and occupies the empty seat...Ur staff says nothing.
                      as an educated person i am informing u people. making a mess is easy but i hope from now on atleast Ur whole staff everyone will give optimum priority to senior citizens seating.
                      PLZ DO NOT BLOCK SEATS FOR UNNECESSARY REASONS. KEEP CUSTOMERS INFORMED CORRECTLY.

                        I have booked 3 Pax tickets on 07/02/16 by indigo airlines on urgent basis, 2 from Delhi to Mumbai by 6E 169 ( Syed Qayam Raza+Hina Sayyed) Reference Number N6EWB3KMW one ( Syed Mahendi Raza) from Delhi to Mumbai Reference Number N6ES5SLQ1, using my HDFC bank credit card [protected] through smartbuy mobile apps as my uncle was very much serious at Mumbai so these tickets were booked on the same day and costed high. I am a frequent traveler of the indigo and have traveled at least more than 20 times through my bank or personally . I have booked my ticket from Varanasi to Mumbai by jet and then to Mumbai by indigo 6E 129 at 5.55 but in changing terminal from T3 to T1 i was late by 5 minutes before departure which was intimated to your customer care Gurgaon by me only before I repeatedly requested your staff to permit me to board the flight but they did not allow me then i again i requested to get next flight which was there after 30 minutes and seen your staff providing reservation to other passengers as the seats were vacant in that flight . i imploringly told the ground staff to accommodate me in the next flight at 6.30 but they did not allow me .they have only allowed me to take a flight at 10.30 after taking 5543 with PNR no S5SLQ1 which shocked me in spite of the fact i told them that i am their frequent traveler . Now I request to look into this incident which shocked me badly and gave a negative impression about the services of the airlines which i used to prefer for my travel. Request to check my previous ticket booking history my number [protected] and my ID syedm.[protected]@hdfcbank.com and [protected]@yahoo.co.in or my name and then judge the customer centricity. i would request to refund my amount which was taken by me at Delhi airport for next flight otherwise i will stop travelling by this airlines and further escalate the matter to the senior Management of the airlines and ministry of civil aviation as well .                           I was travelling on flight 6E 342 from Lucknow to Kolkata on 26th February 2016 with my family. The flight was a hopping flight from Lucknow to Patna and then to Kolkata. There were numerous mosquitos in the same flight due to which we all were very discomfortable during our flight. We asked the cabin attendant to look into the matter but we got a rude reply from her saying even its disturbing them. I m a frequent flier with indigo airlines and this is for the 1st time I faced such pathetic situation as well as behaviour of the staff. Such attitude of such a good airlines is highly disappointing as it is high risk with passengers health. I want an answer for such pathetic atmosphere of the flight and the reason for the same.

                            I reported to Pune Indigo counter at 10.40 am for flight no 6E148 for Delhi PNR CBQCQQ but they asked for paper ticket when i came back with it they did not allow me to board on the plea that I am late and accordingly I booked a ticket for flight at 8.35 pm flight No 6E402 with extra Rs.5000/-. My complain against you is that your filght no 6E402 is late by 50 mts now whether you will return back my money for your delay or not. I think now a days it is your business to earn more by cheating your customers. I could not understand why you are not accepting tickets in mobile which is computer generated message even the worst Indian Railways also accept it. I think this is only a bahana for earn more for you. Stop all this nonsense and be customer friendly. I know this complain will never be resolved by you because all of you are hopeless persons.

                              Denied boarding and extra charges on next Indigo-flight
                              I would like to share details of an incident which happened on the morning of 23rd Feb. 2016 at Mumbai airport regarding a case of poor customer service and abnormal charging of the tickets for an alternative flight and demand corrective action for the same.

                              We were five passengers booked for your Mumbai-Delhi Indigo flight 6E 196 with PNR no. P22ZUR ; The scheduled departure was 10:50 am on 23 Feb. 2016.

                              Due to traffic congestion and unusual rush at the entrance main gate of the airport, we could not seek boarding pass till 10:10 a.m. We are certainly aware of the terms and conditions of boarding pass issuance and by this time the attendant at the counter said that this flight is not possible, we had pleaded with the staff and requested them to accommodate us in the flight as the flight in question had significant time for departure (That is approx. 40 min.). We also pleaded with your staff to speak to their superiors and seek help. But they refused our request, created a kind of a panic situation and simply asked us to travel by an alternative flight. The attendant told us to go the counter no. 38 A where the staff members rudely repeat the same thing that your flight is not possible although we have web-check-in one day before the flight.

                              The argue took 10 to 15 min. more and it is almost 10:30 a.m. by then. Then I requested them is there any way out, then again they said NOT POSSIBLE. Then I asked them what if my checked-in baggage will not go, then the staff member at the counter 38 A said that it is possible if your checked-in baggage will not go with you provided you have web-check-in which I already had. Again that lady look into the computer and said ‘Now it is not possible because it is too late’.

                              Now in the reflection of events gone by, we would like to pose the following questions --

                              1) Seriously in this age of competition, development, social media, what kind of a customer service is that?

                              -- One, you could have allowed us to board the flight as there was still significant time left (approx.. 40 min.) and the difference in time by which we missed the boarding pass deadline was hardly minutes (Do you reimburse customers if your flight reaches late by few minutes?)
                              -- Second, if that posed really grave operational difficulties, and we appreciate your stickler for on-time departures, you could have accommodated us in a following flight with our existing tickets !, as do most airlines albeit with some token charges (That would have been a touch of amazing customer service and human understanding and also humanity.)

                              2) Why did your executives behave in such a manner without any human touch and understanding of our situation and not properly guide us about the options? All your staff seems to be on a mission to make best of the situation n company favour.

                              3) Being a reputed company in a very important service industry, why did your staff lack that human touch? Surely you are not just cold profit-churning machinery in this industry where airlines in India and around the world exhibit amazingly some truly wonderful examples of customer empathy. Is indigo briefing to staff is on these lines in such a situation?

                              Here I can tell you the following way in which I can go to the flight no. 6E 196, which unfortunately your staff must have told me :
                              1) I could have put my checked-in baggage (only one) to some of my known at the airport and we could have board the flight within the time easily with the cabin baggage only. For your information the security in-charge at the airport Asst. Commandant Mr. Joshi was well known to me where I could have put my checked-in baggage and could have able to go the Delhi.

                              2) My wife and three little kids could board the flight and I could come with the next flight so that my loss could be curtailed.

                              3) We all five family members could go to the same flight and my checked-in baggage could come with the next possible flight.

                              All the above ways could be possible but your staff members at 38A force me to buy fresh tickets which cost me Rs. 22, 005 under pnr. No. ZD94KQ – 6E – 174.

                              Now I tell you the most interesting things which you must relish regarding the efficiency of your staff that as soon as I bought these tickets, the all the above three ways to go has been told by your staff only at the ticket counter. Amazing thing, isn’t it?

                              We have many other such questions - We would like to have answers for these and corrective action from your end. We request a full refund for the extra amount charged though very little can fix the ordeal which we went through. Please show us that customer service really means to you.
                              I am not asking about the compensation of my difficulties I just want my right to get full refund of pnr. No. ZD94KQ – 6E – 174 because this loss is sheerly due to inefficiency and lack of knowledge of your staff.

                                Passenger (Mr. Sanjeev Channa) took the boarding pass and completed the security check. Since the passenger was feeling some health issues, he intimated the IndiGo ground staff to help him/ call him to reach towards boarding gate once it is opened. Even then, ground staff failed to reach the passenger (even after a special request from the passenger due to his ill-health). Therafter, passenger had requested the staff to accomodate him in a later flight. But all the requests made by the passenger were in vain/futile efforts. Neither he was accomodated in a later flight nor any compensation granted for non-utilized air-ticket.
                                Due to this hardship, passenger was forced to spend another sum of around Rs. 7200/- for an AirIndia Ticket.

                                Kindly, look into the issue and compensate the passenger adequately.

                                  I was to fly today from Dibrugarh to Delhi on flight 6E 571 at 1350 Hrs today that is on 25 Feb 2016, with Booking Reference M6FVTF. But due to postponement of PGT English exam of Haryana Staff Selection Commission I had to cancel the ticket. I got my ticket my ticket cancelled prior to two hours before departure but I have not been refunded money.

                                    Booked IndiGo airline tickets on 16/01/2016 for Guwahati to Kolkata flight. Flight was scheduled to leave 12.20 from GAU. Due to inordinate delay we were forced to come to Kolkata by another flight. The Guwahati counter person cancelled the tickets and wrote for refund of Rs. 7510 duly stamped and signed. She also confirmed that refund will be made after 15 days. After 30 days I have not yet received the refunded amount. Please arrange to refund at the earliest to avoid further complication.

                                      I was travelling from hyderabad to raipur < i reached airport at 4 pm and my flight was boarding at 5:15,
                                      i checked in which took half an hour roughly and then i passed the chek post and was moving towards the boarding gate
                                      i went to the washroom prior and then to the boarding area
                                      there were 6 attendents 3 were male and rest three were females one of her name was 'GAUCHIA ", i reached the boarding area 1 mintute late to the schedule departure and one of the male assistant said you cannot board because your are late and your laguage has been traced
                                      i said how can you hold me for being a single minute late from your time
                                      they did not allow me to get inside the flight, i requested them more than 100 times they were not even paying attention they were ignoring as if i don't exist !


                                      i was not the only one who was late, there were 2 more people who were late and they begged to allow them to attentd the flight but the 'INDIGO STAFF' ignored them as well
                                      the two passengers were one women and one man, that man reached the boarding area and said please wait for 1 minute my collegue will just come but the INDIGO STAFF said sir if you want to go then you go don't wait for your female collegue as she was in the washroom as she had some health issues
                                      listing to that the man said i cannot go without her
                                      and i was standing there and was still not being allowed to enter the flight !

                                      and then the women was a bit more late came and request them that i was very very important for thme to go in this flight as they have to attentd some function at bliaspur which will take another 2.5 hours form raipur

                                      the women was shouting and begging to please let me go but they the INDIGO STAFF one of them was making SARCASTIC faces for which he got shouted by that women he was also saying that SIR IT WILL TAKE 4 LACKS RUPEES TO OPEN THE PLAIN DOOR AGAIN, WILL YOU PAY ? is this the way to talk, is this what INDIGO is all about ? they are paracite who suck money from people said the women she also filled a case against the company and staff by calling her lawyer

                                      but then then flight was standing there for 20 minutes and so were we all standing
                                      but than after 20 mintutes the flight took off and we were there standing and looking at that helplessly because these INDIGO people were also doing nothing

                                      then i was escorted out of the boarding are with one of that male attented who was very very disrespectfull to everyone present over there
                                      even the normal public came in our support and said let these people enter the flight we are seeing them from last 25mins but then that MALE INDIGO STAFF said 'YOU MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS" to a normal passenger who was telling olny the senario


                                      i wasn"t treated well not compensated and they also did't arrange another flight for me they did nothing
                                      i that what you are supposed to get after paying the full price of the flight ?


                                      then i travelled from in a bus from hyderabad to raipur and struglled alot beacuse of these 'INDIGO PEOPLE'

                                      because of them i was undergone very high mental pressure

                                      i want the company to compentiate me with price of my ticket and the struggle i faced and under gone because of them
                                      which can resist me from taking a legal action for INDIGO AIRLINES

                                        I was suppose to travel to jaipur from kolkata by indigo flight no 6e 238. the departure of flight was 05:20 a.m. as mentioned on ticket and website.
                                        pls note that i had already done my web check in one day before my departure.
                                        i reached the counter at 04:30a.m. but the officials denied saying that the counter is closed. i requested them saying that almost an hour is left, "how can you close the counter".. the official time of closure of counter is 45 minutes before the departure. but in no circumstances they allowed me to move in.
                                        all these discussions killed another 20 minutes. at around 5:00 a.m., they saying that the flight has already taken off and they cant help.

                                        now first of all i would like to question indigo that how can a flight which is suppose to take off at 5:20 a.m. be departed at 5:00 a.m.
                                        next thing, inspite of re accomodating me in the next flight with the same fare and ticket they charged exorbitant extra amount of money (3876/-) from me. also they wrote unjust comments of late arrival at counter on my boarding pass.
                                        kindly note there were 3 more passengers along with me with the same problem.

                                        closing the counter one hour before the departure of flight, not re accomodating the passengers within the same fare and ticket, misbehaviour with the passengers is what i faced today.

                                        this is highly unacceptable and unethical behaviour of indigo. i am writing this complaint letter to disclose such unethical standards indigo is following.
