Dear Sir/Mam, I booked indigo flight 6E-146 from bangalore to delhi through makemytrip.com for the date of 27th Dec 14 departing at 13:25 hrs. My makemytrip booking ID was: NF[protected] and PNR number was: K4EP3C . I had to miss my flight due to delay in train and checked in Bangalore airport at 12:59 hrs just before 26 mins left to depart my flight. I was denied to get boarding pass and asked to book for next flight. My wife and I asked 4 different persons at indigo counter to let us check-in but they denied to let us check-in and told us to book for next flight. I urged them to get my refund to book for next flight but they were adamant that nothing can be done and I won't get any refund. I also talked on indigo customer care service to get my refund for missing flight but they also repeated the same answer and were not in the condition anyway to refund. I called makemytrip customer service as well but they just made simple excuse that I should call airline directly. My wife and I was so upset with this whole episode that we decided never to book anything via makemytrip or indigo. After doing all the efforts to get my refund when I saw that there could be nothing done, I had to book the next flight 6E-106 at 20:50 hrs for which I had to pay 8924 INR extra charges. I had to spent approx. 8 hrs at airport to catch the next flight. So a simple Bangalore to Delhi trip cost me a lot expensive plus a lot of mentally trauma for missing schedule flight due to delay in train arrival. I reached Indigo counter 26 mins before the departure of the flight and it was not a very less time to get board the flight. I explained the present indigo staff and other crew members at the Indigo counter that time about how I got delayed to reach airport as my train got delayed then due to heavy traffic somwhow I managed to reach the airport and urged them to get my boarding pass but they all seem helpless at that time. They were adamant that nothing can be done. As I have seen in the other airlines services, the airlines staff is always present to check if it is left any passenger to board the flight even there are only 10 minutes left in departing the flight, they inform the passenger and assist him to catch the flight. In my case, I was late only few mins and I wasn't informed and didn't get any assistance from any indigo staff member. It was really horrible experience I had with any airtlines services. I again request you to look into my application and take a positive action for it. If you are unable to take any positive action then I'll have to forcibly go to post publicly my this issue and even have to lodge a complain in "Consumer Forum" for getting so much inconvenience and mentally disturbance.     I reserved the flight No.G8-183 Transaction ID [protected] to entertain journey from New Delhi to Srinigar on 05.04.2015, but due to natural disastrous and flood in Srinagar I could not entertain the journey and cancelled the ticket on the said flight. But unfortunately, a sum of Rs.5250/- ( @ Rs. 1750/- per head ) was deducted which is not proper and same is to be reviewed extensively. I am holding the rank of Asstt. Commandant in Central Para Military Force and I extect that the case is to be reviewed and refund me the amount since it was not possible to entertain journey to Srinagar on that stage and I have been advised by the Authority of Ministry of home Affairs not to entertain journey on that situation. - Please justify the refund of flight cancellation ticket.

        At Airport, staffs are less educated about the rules causing inconvenience to us. I had hand luggage of 9 kg (kg is inclusive of laptop). These people were not allowing me to take the baggage as they said that, you are not allowed to take 2 baggage(laptop bag and one air bag) as hand luggage.But while travelling from Bangalore I did not face any issues regarding 2 baggage's. I don't understand when 7 kg plus laptop ( that equals around 10 kg) is allowed, why the hell the Staffs were creating havoc.So much of inconvenience was caused due to less educated staffs at RANCHI AIRPORT. Please educate the staffs to behave well . Just to earn money they wanted me to give the other luggage as Check-in luggage .They think that they are too smart to act but we as customers are well aware of the rules too .I accommodated my laptop in the airbag and I went and those staffs could not do anything as they knew that they were are fault. It is really foolish of them to act as i took my things the same way.I think even if i have 10 hand luggage's within the KG limit they cannot stop us from taking the same.

          I missed my Indigo flight today from Bangalore to Pune at 5.40 AM. I reached the airport at 5.10 am due to delays near the airport, cabs were blocked. I reported nearly at 5.15 am, had only 2 small baggages for cabin check-in. No body in the queue even announced that the passengers can come for check-in directly to another counter. When i asked, i was asked I reported late 18 mins before the departure and I cannot board the flight now, all gates are closed. I was then routed to the Indigo window booking. There were other few passengers too waiting having missed their flight. I was given the option of 6657/- fare price for the 4.55 pm flight. Heavily cheated here. This should be after returns & adjustments the amount must be deducted. At around 1 PM, I accidentally checked the fares online, and got to see I still had the Indigo flight at 6100/- price while jet airways at only 5100/-. When I saw the fare options this late, i had nothing but to regret. Why didn't i checked the flight options online? Even if i cancelled or didn't go to Indigo counter, i would have got the Jet airways flight, which is far far better in fare & service. These buggers cheated me with the costliest option, that too even after all adjustments/returns/cancellations. I thought as an example, there would be some reduction. If the fare is 10k, returns & adjustments 4 k is given to passenger something like that. But here it is reverse if it is 10k they will sell it for 20k for needy passengers having missed their flights. What do you gain out here? Bloody cheaters !!! Worst experience!!! I would advise all & known people to never opt for Indigo in most cases unless urgent.

            Hi, I had booked a round trip from Mumbai to Bangalore ticket on April 1st, 2015 from a guest login of the indigo site : https://book.goindigo.in/ Due to some reason I have to cancel my travel so I called customer care to cancel my tickets. They are telling me that my tickets are non refundable... When I was booking ticket I was knowing that I may have to cancel my trip so I checked for changes and refundable and then booked my tickets. Ticket Reference No. M9F98T And now they tell me its not refundable. I mean how is it possible. Its a matter of 4000 rupees and I want u to look at this and refund me my money.

              Horrible service provided by indigo airlines while travelling from Bombay-Patna with Indigo 6E-342 "Pnr status- DFCEUR" Yesterday[protected]. Yesterday I had a flight which was departed from Mumbai at 14:20 on[protected] and halted in lucknow for 30 minutes, along with the passenger deboarding at lucknow, they have dropped my luggage down in lucknow airport. I need a compensation regarding this, the inconvenience caused to me today as I dont have any clothes and other basic items to use. I had to go home without my luggage. What irresponsibility type of service are been provided by the indigo airlines. Can you please tell me how can I relay on this airline next time for my travelling. Even no response is been given from their side. They have told that they would be delivering my luggage at my home at 10:30AM in the morning on 17/05/2015, but still now I havent got any respond from their side nor any information about my luggage. Infact I have to call them 4-5 times regarding information about my luggage. I really facing trouble and need a compensation for it. It has highly disappointed me.

                I narrate the harrowing experience on INDIGO airlines me and my friend underwent on CHN-DELHI-JAIPUR sector on 4th MAY. 1 Flight departed late, that was the least of the troubles to follow. 2 I asked for water and was served at 5 pm in the aircraft after taking off at Chennai. I open the flask at 9 pm after landing in JAIPUR and drank it straight . IT WAS SCALDING HOT. I was gasping for breath, mouth scalded. I had never asked for hot water, just plain water to drink.. I never expected to be served boiling hot water still steaming after 4 hours ! Such was callous indifferent attitude of the hostess, no mind application. 10 days after the incident, I she still cannot taste food.. taste buds burnt.. I was reminded of classic Mc Donalds coffee consumer case in USA in which US $ 640, 000 was awarded including punitive damages for serving coffee scalding hot which spilled on the customer. This is an identical case. 3. Indigo staff are extremely rude.. ground staff as well as the glorified servant maids in flight.. You ask for a glass of water .. the request is met with such indifference, you're lucky if you are served after half an hour.. They exhibit cold, impersonal, condescending attitude towards passengers.. don't even make eye contact when you ask for some service. 4. My friend and I who were travelling together got seats allotted ten rows apart. We had to request a fellow passenger to shift seats. You request an aisle / window seat with ground staff, you're sure to be allotted a middle seat. TRY IT. INDIGO ground staff have perfected customer dissatisfaction to the level of art. 5. All over India, many passengers are complaining, they have been offloaded and had miss the INDIGO flight though they checked-in at the counter well in advance.. only because by the time they reached the counter after waiting in the queue it was slightly below the 45 minute cut off. This is happening with alarming frequency at all airports at INDIGO counters. INDIGO insists they are on time.. VERY RUDELY ON TIME.. AVOID INDIGO Airlines like PLAGUE...

                  My dad (70 years old) who is not well and I had to book his ticket on an emergency could not board the indigo flight on May 13 at 6.30 PM from Bhibaneswar. He report at the airport at 4.30pm and took the boarding pass at 4.44pm. He checked in and was waiting for the flight. When the time came to board the flight he was not guided properly by the ground staff and he had to miss the flight. He had to book another ticket in Air India and landed at 11.30pm at Delhi. He stays at Berhampur which is 4 hours drive from Bhubaneswar. He started at 12.pm to reach the bhubaneswar airport at 4pm. Your ground staff was very rude; they harassed him and also misbehaved at the airport even after knowing that he had his baggage security checked in. They did not let him to board the flight. Even they snatched away the boarding pass from him. Further, I have been trying to reach out to [protected], [protected] and [protected] but couldn't talk to any customer care person. This was such a stressful experience. My entire family travel a lot by Indigo flight but this experience is unbelievable. This was a really terrible and horrifying experience for him as this caused a lot of stress and mental pressure as he is a diabetic patient. You are requested to kindly refund my money in order to restrain me from taking a legal stand against your airline.

                    Respected sir/ma'am My complaint is regarding the ground staff on duty today 13-May-2015 working in domestic airport T1 New Delhi. while issuing the boarding pass to flight bearing number 6E435 from Delhi to Srinagar departure time- 12:05 pm' some of your staff members( NAMELY DEEPAK AND HIS FEMALE ASSOCIATE SUPERVISOR) misbehaved with me and made some racial comments such as calling me a terrorist. Despite I being a frequent indigo flier my queries were not heeded upon. I even tried to contact the manager but they didn't allow saying that manager isn't available. "Such kind of behaviour is not expected of such an esteemed company as yours." This kind of behaviour has left a grave psychological impact on my mind. This was my worst indigo flying experience. I am anticipating a prompt action on your behalf against the persons involved or else i'll be forced to contact other sources.

                      I travelled on 10 May from Delhi to Hyderabad at 1540/1750 on flight 6E377 My PNR number is UDSGSK. I was carrying medicines in glass bottle, told at check in counter to mark it as Fragile . Also told him that its completely glass so need to be taken care of. When we reached Hyderabad, the fragile item also came in belt (number 3). It was not given to us personally. Glass bottle was completely damaged and medicine was spilled in bag. We bought this medicine for Rs 15000 from Delhi. This was our main agenda to bring the medicine and its broken when we reached here, This is not only a loss of money but also the loss of total effort of going to doctor in delhi from hyderabad. Request you to reimburse at least the money involved for medicine so that we can order it again and have it brought here again by some means. With the hope that you would consider our complaint and request. Regards -Sarika

                            I am travelling frequently with flights.I am not at all happy with the service which offers the indigo airlines to passengers. It is only money making business. I experience horrible behaviour from the indigo staff on airport. After long que I reach @6.40am on the boarding pass counter for my schedule flight 7.30am.staff told that you have miss the flight now we can not allow you to board the flight as boarding has been closed. I requested them to allow me to board the flight. But they didn't allow me.i requested to adjust me in some other flights where the seats might be vacant he told me that no there are no any seats available in next flight. He force me to take another ticket in the next flight. Where already seats vancant was there for the schedule flight 8.30 am .By doing all this activities. It was 8.10am when he issued the boarding pass for the schedule departure flight 8.30am. So if you take new ticket the boarding pass can be issued 20 to 25 min prior to schedule departure. But they will not co-oprate when you are well ahead. It is not at all expected. Many airlines adjust the passenger to there next flight where there are possibilities without making any single rupee.The flight in which I travelled by paying extra money was still having 10 seats vacant. So it's just money making business. I will suggest all my friends and family members not to opt indigo flight. Here I paid 6500 INR extra (for two tickets). which is quite heavy for me.

                              Dear Sir / Madam, It is very sad to inform you that this morning 02 Sr. Citizens (01 Pax suffering from Cancer ) were travelling in the Flight 6E 452 on 06 May 15 boarded the flight at 10:20 from Bengaluru - Mumbai. On their arrival at Mumbai there was no Wheel chair for the patient Mr. Mangal Moy Mukhopadhyay who is suffering from cancer to carry them back to the airport. They had to wait outside the aircraft in the scorching heat as no bus or any other carrier was available. It was very difficult for him to wait with their luggage outside. I would like the Management to look into this matter and explain why such thing had taken place even as days before we had put a request for the wheelchair.

                                Dear Sir/Madam, We had booked 7.55 pm indigo flight from Bangalore to Pune on 4th May 2015. The indigo flight was departed at 8.02 pm from Bangalore. We reached the Bangalore airport 30 mins before the actual time(7.55 pm) and also we didn't have any luggage for screening but still the lady on Indigo Boarding Pass counter(Bangalore) didn't give boarding pass. I requested the lady for the boarding pass for 4 to 5 times and also told her that we have very small children's(1 child 2.5 year old and 1 infant 1.5 year old) with us but she was not listening. Also, when I was talking to her she was not looking at me and was doing something on the Computer. The lady was very rude. The next indigo plane from Bangalore to Pune was at 5.40 am in the morning on next day. Since, other flight companies allow passengers to board the flight 30 mins before the actual time then why indigo flight company not allowing 30 mins before and need 45 minutes time before the actual time. Also, we didn't have any luggage so we could have boarded the flight but because of that rude lady we didn't board the flight. Actually, we had booking for 6 family members(4 adults, 1 child, 1 infant) and paid 30000 Rs amount for the booking and now I got only 1955 Rs as refund money. This was very frustrating experience from the Indigo flight company!!! Next time, I will think before booking indigo plane ticket for the travelling.

                                  I tried to book an air ticket from Imphal to Delhi on 1st April, 2015 by using Net Banking o[censored]nion bank around 4.00 pm. However an amt of Rs.3, 769 has been deducted from my account but before confirmation arrived it was failed due to some technical error. Immediately I contact Indigo representative ([protected]) and they told me that the deducted amount would be refund to my act. within 4-5 working days. Unfortunately till today the said amt is not refund to my acct. After that I made called to customer care many times and unfortunately each representative told me that the deducted amt will get within 24 to 48 hrs. After repeatedly complaint on 20th April they send me confirmation ticket which I am not required it right now. So, the competent authority should take necessary action for getting my deducted amt. at the earliest please.                                     I was traveling in your flight on no 6E 265 from Bhubaneswar to Hyderabad on 30th April 2015. I was told at Hyd that the baggage was wrongly despatched to kolkata. The same day I was to fly by emirates to CHICAGO and I had to leave HYD on 1st may 2015. I am yet to hear from you regarding the baggage. I was told that the baggage is located at kolkata.                                       I was scheduled to with my husband to goa with Indigo 9331. Where due to some unforeseen event I reached to the boarding pass window at 7:15 am where my scheduled flight was at 7.50 am. The indigo people put me and my husband in no show passenger list stating that we are delayed for boarding. Where i have personally seen them boarding passenger who reach half an hour prior to departure. Indigo has been doing this to charge hefty amount of flight differentiation taking advantage of situation of passengers.I begged them literally to let me board the flight but instead they asked us to pay 17000 for the next flight. I really want authorities to take action against them as they have made this a business tact and sales measure. Being a low cost airline they have started earning profit in this way from passengers. If I was having 17000 Rs to pay as a flight difference why should I have choose Indigo as a airline to travel.I should have paid heavy amount like this and should have booked tickets for jet or air india. Please take action against them its my humble request as they are fooling people who are in package fares. They spoiled my honeymoon and my desire to travel on flight. They do this when their flights are full .Where they offer seats on high price to passengers who can afford the ticket and issue NO show for passengers who are traveling on air package. This whole racket is going on between the travel companies and these airlines.

                                        Hi Team, My name is Mohammed Fahad and I had traveled by your airlines yesterday i.e 30th April 2015 from Dubai to Bengaluru. My PNR number is T5TZJS. I have attached a copy of my boarding pass issue to me as well. During check-in I had excess baggage of 5kgs and an over-sized baggage i.e. a 42 inch TV. The person at the check-in counter informed me that I would need to pay extra for the excess and over sized baggage. I paid in total AED 390. The receipt of the payment has been also attached. I asked the check-in person if the TV would be handled with care, he assured me that it will be taken with care and also showed me the Fragile tag that was put on the baggage. Thus I boarded the flight with ease of mind and reached Bengaluru and collected the baggage and reached home. On un-packing the over-sized baggage at my residence, I was taken by utter shock that my TV has gone through severe damage. The Display panel has cracked from the left end to the right. Examined the carton box and found that the baggage even though mentioned Fragile was totally mishandled. As the baggage is fragile and it is a TV and clearly mentioned in the carton box to place it vertically, I believe it was placed horizontally and heavy luggage placed over it or the baggage was not taken with care and was made to go through a high impact leading to heavy damage to the TV. I have attached the carton box photos and the video displaying the damage to the display panel. As you can see in the images there is a thermocol piece broken. That piece was broken in the very same place where the TV has endured major impact. Please refer to the images attached.
