baggage missing complaint

Dear Sir I am K.Narasimha sah, a Chartered Accountant from Chennai. On 28th April 2015 I have travelled in Indigo Flight No.6E 311 from Hyderabad to Chennai along with 3 of our Office colleagues vide Seat Nos .12B, 12C, 12D 12 E. We were having 6 baggages and the same have been weighed for 72 Kgs by the Indigo Boarding Pass counter Staff at Hyderbad Airport. We have also paid Rs. 3, 000/= toward additional baggage charges for the excess...

I AM SORRY TO BRING TO YOUR KIND NOTICE THAT 23/04/15 I HAD TO TRAVEL FROM HYDERABAD TO NEW DELHI BY GOINDIGO AIRLINES. I HAD OBTAINED BOARDING PASS OF GOINDIGO FLIGHT NO.6E 302. VIDE PNR NO. L8FJKJ DATED 23.04.2015 DEPARTURE TIMING 17:15 HRS FROM HYDERABAD TO NEW DELHI. I HAVE DULY COMPLETED MY SECURITY CHECK IN AND WAS WAITING FOR MY FLIGHT AT SECURITY HALL. I WAS LISTENING THE ANNOUNCEMENT AND WAITING FOR MY FLIGHT. AT 17:40 HRS I CONTACTED INDIGO GROUND STAFF ABOUT FLIGHT STATUS AS THE TIMING OF FLIGHT HAS ELAPSED. CONCERNING GROUND STAFF APPRISED ME THAT FLIGHT HAS ALREADY LEFT FOR DELHI. I WAS UTTER SURPRISED AND ASKED THE STAFF THAT AS I HAVE ALREADY CHECKED IN AND HOLDING BOARDING PASS. NO ANNOUNCEMENTS MADE BY GOINDIGO TO CAUTIONING ME THAT FLIGHT IS READY FOR TAKE OFF AND I HAVE TO REACH THERE TO CATCH MY FLIGHT. GROUNDSTAFF AND MANAGER MR. ZALEEL RESPONDED THAT ANNOUNCEMENT BY INDIVIDUAL ABSENT PASSANGERS NAME IS NOT THERE RESPONSIBILITY. THEIR RESPONSIBILITY ABSOLVES ONCE YOU HAVE OBTAINED BOARDING PASS ITS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO REACH THE DESTINATION POINT AND COMPLETE THE JOURNEY. THIS WAS TOTALLY SURPRISING FOR ME AS OTHER AIR LINES WERE ANNOUNCING BY NAMES IF SOMEONE HAVE NOT BOARDED THEIR RESPECTIVE AIRCRAFT. I REQUESTED THEM TO ADJUST ME BY NEXT FLIGHT FOR DELHI SO THAT I CAN REACH AT MY DESTINATION POINT.THE WAY THEY HANDLED ME AND RESPONDED WAS JUST LIKE THAT I HAVE COMMITTED CRIME AND I HAVE TO APPEAR BEFORE EACH AUTHORITY EXPLAINING HOW IT HAD HAPPENED. INSPITE OF ALL THESE FORMALITIES I REQUESTED THEM TO ADJUST ME BY THEIR NEXT FLIGHTS. INITIALLY THEY WERE RELUCTANT TO ENTERTAIN MY REQUESTS AND DECLINED OUTRIGHTLY. AFTER PERSISTENT REQUEST THEY RESPONDED THAT THEY CAN SEND ME BY NEXT FLIGHT BUT I HAVE TO BEAR FULL FARE OF RS.13000. I REQUESTED THEM TO COMPANSATE ME FOR MY ALREADY FARE PAID TO THE AIRLINE.THIER RESPONSE WAS TOTALLY UNETHICAL AND NOT CONSIDERED MY REQUEST. THE TREATMENT I MET AT AIRPORT FROM INDIGO WAS ONE OF THE BITTER EXPERIENCE AND IT WAS A TOTALLY MENTAL TORTURE, STRESS FOR ME. THE WAY INDIGO HAS TREATED ME WAS CERTAINLY NOT APPRECIABLE AND THEIR APPROACH WAS TOTALLY INHUMAN AND THEIR MAIN MOTIVE WAS APPEARING JUST LIKE TO SALE THEIR PRODUCTS AND ONCE ITS SOLD THEREAFTER THEIR RESPONSIBILITY ENDS . AS I HAVE SUFFERED SEVERE MENTAL HARASSMENT AND MANAGED TO REACH AT MY DESTINATION POINT AFTER SPENDING RS.13000 TO OTHER AIRLINES. I REQUEST YOU TO REFUND MY TICKET AMOUNT IMMEDIATELY SO THAT I CAN COMPANSATE MY FINANCIAL LOSS UPTO CERTAIN EXTANT. I REQUEST YOU TO REFUND ME MY TICKETS AMOUNT WHICH I INCURRED FOR SAID FLIGHT.     I have been fan of indigo and prefer to fly indigo, but today in Chandigarh airport I had really annoying experience. Indigo is supposed to ensure a uniquely smooth, seamless, precise, gimmick-free customer experience but my check-in counter experience was totally opposite. The gentleman sitting at express check-in counter seem to be cross with me for no apparent reason. He had problem with everything. First he asked me to show identity proofs for both my kids - aged seven and four. I have not been asked identity proof of four year old anywhere in other airports so far. I wonder if you are asking identity proofs for all the kids which are flying with indigo. Then he had problem with my luggage. I was having one check-in bag. He said my bag weighs 32kg while the limit is 30kg "for porter". I am not able to find such rule on your website. He made me open my bag and take out few things. I had to carry those things in hand all the way since I was not having any cabin luggage. I was travelling with two small kids with no help. He really went out of his way to make that journey uncomfortable for me. I wonder why I deserved such a special treatment.

      I travelled from Delhi to Mumbai by Flight 6E 149 on 27th April 2015. I had booked veg meal in advance with the ticket to ensure that I could have veg food of my choice on board, but I was informed by the air hostess that they have sold all veg food except sandwitch to the passengers on board, and I was only left with the option of sandwitch which was of very poor quality and taste. I am a frequent flyer and I never had such bad experience with any of the airlines except Indigo. All other airlines first provide food to the passengers who have booked food in advance with the ticket and then they sell the food on board. I realized that Indigo is offering very poor services and also the quality and taste of food is not good. I have decided not to travel by Indigo airlines in future and would also recommend the same to my friends and closed ones.

        Dear Sir/Madam, On 22/04/2015, I tried to book a round trip for four persons from DEL to COK for dates 10/06/2015 and 07/07/2015 respectively through Indigo mobile App. But after payment I got an information showing that "your transaction was successfull, but can't able to book ticket now. Your money will be refunded within two to three days." But till the date I didn't get my refund. I'm here providing my transaction number and amount. txn# 748037 and amount Rs 43620. Kindly solve my problem and help me to get my refund.

          Hi, Yesterday i have travelled from kolkata to mumbai by flight 6E 596 and my seat no 30A, I was not feeling well so i have request your air hostress to change my seat, but they told me will get back to me and after some time they have announced that few seats are available and if anybody want to change the seat they need to pay extra. I was feeling suffocation and not feeling well, this kind of behavior gave me a feeling that i will never travel or not even suggest to travel by indigo.
          This is the problem with us, we expect a premium seat to be allotted to us free of cost, and if they are not in a position to oblige you, this is the response, We should understand the difference between a service and business,

            I have never seen such irresponsive behaviour by any airlines as they did on 28th april 2015 flight no. 6e-151, the flight was to take of by 08:55 hrs and i was at airport by 8:15am it was plenty of time... i requested them a lot. Even the supervisor has taught me he hasnt helped me... on resheduling the asked me 16455/- to pay... they were not even ready to refund... though having 40 mins of time they didnt let me board at plane... my small 2 kids and wife has requested a lot to them... so pooor... i would never forget my bad experience with indigo, there was huge rush at the entry gate of airport.

              Myself Syed Mannan airline PNR and e-ticket SFEJ4R was travelling from Bombay to Hyderabad had my flight delayed by 40 minutes on 25th of April 8.40 pm. As I received a computer generated message stating that my flight has been delayed by 40 minutes and it would take off by 8.40. I reached the airport by 7.15 and saw a que. I waited in the que just to find out in the end of the counter that my flight counter has been closed with out any announcement. I requested with your supervisor miss Cinzih and miss [censored]al for any help as there was an hour before the flight takeoff but they tell me to buy another ticket and nothing can b done! There was an hour left ad still nothing can b done? When I tried to ask them for give me next available flight they just deny and talk rudely and miss behaved with me! I had to go through many difficulties to reach Hyderabad. I kindly request you to refund my money in any possible way or my complaint will be placed in the news paper if there is no response from you guys! make my trip booking id -NF[protected] booking date -tue, 21 apr 2015 my email id - [protected]@yahoo.com

                My name is Bhrigu Kumar Joshi. Yesterday (25th April 2015) I travelled in indigo flight no. 146 from Bangalore to New Delhi Seat 8F and sequence number 180. I successfully checked in my baggage that was dark blue colored American Tourister trolley bag. But when I reached Delhi airport I didn't receive my baggage. The Indigo staff at airport filed a missing baggage report and ensured that they will keep on updating and send my baggage to my address once they find it. Its 21 hours now and I had to ask for updates. They are not even giving the updates themselves. Such an example of poorest customer service from Indigo. This was my first time with Indigo and I'll make sure that this is my last too. I'll also make sure that in future none of my friends /family/relatives/colleagues are travelling in Indigo. If anyone has mail ids of higher officials of Indigo the please share.

                  I had booked tickets for 7 members from then Mumbai to b'lore and back from B'lore to Mumbai. Since one member was unable to come we had cancelled the 18th April's flight for her. The name was Mrs. Vidya Karnik. When we arrived at B'lore on 18th we were informed that Mr. Vijaay Joglekar's ticket was cancelled instead of Mrs. Vidya Karnik. We had to purchase another ticket costing Rs.7670/- immediately. When we reached Mumbai we approached the Indigo office and they informed us that it was done by Mr Vikas whose Id no is RSNG00. I have attached the make My trip cancellation conformation which mentions Vidya Karnik;s name on it. I have also attached the picture of new ticket which we had to buy for Mr. Joglekar. We faced a lot a problems due to this mishap from your side. All o[censored]s are senior citizens and we still have to write this mail to you.                       We had made a reservation for the 25th of April for 4 people as is visible under this booking number. My wife one of the names on this ticket called up on [protected] and spoke to a gentleman, don't remember his name and asked him to specifically change only her (Nanika joseph) flight to a Goa Mumbai sector for the 27th of April. She was assured that the needful had been done and she had only to pay rupees six thousand something for the change. Later when I logged on to the web site, I saw all the passenger's tickets had been changed!!! So I called up the above mentioned number again and my call was taken by a lady who said her name was Amandeep, so I told her what had transpired and she put me on hold and later told me that I had to wait for 24-48 hours for them to listen to the recording and to let me know if it was my wife's fault or the gentleman who had changed the booking. I requested her not to get into all of that and simply make the required changes. To which she said she could not and if after listening to the recording if they found that the mistake was made by the gentleman who took the call, then we don't have to pay anything, otherwise I will have to pay about 6000/- . I told het I just wanted her to correct the booking and we will pay the charges. She again put me on hold And when she came back she said that we had to wait for 24 hrs, so once again I requested her to charge me and make the changes, once again she expressed her inability to do that!!! So I asked her if I could speak to her supervisor Mr Akaash (name provided by Amandeep) once again I'm put on hold, this time for a much longer time and then I am told that Akaash is very busy and that he will call back in 10 mins, this was at 11.15pm, it's now 12.15 am and there is no call. I am simply amazed at this I am asking for a simple change, I am also willing to pay for it, what is the problem???? As of now the booking of 3 passengers are now wrong on the same booking number, if for some reason their booking is not reversed their travel plans are in a mess. Can someone please look into this and revert to me because this is ridiculous and I will escalate this if things are not sorted fas.Rajeev Joseph [protected]

                        Sir/Madam I boarded the Indigo Flight 6E 292 from Chennai to Guwahati today with a patient. I had been allotted seat no. 30 D, E and F.But during the entire flight, we had to bear with the foul toilet smell constantly and the patient whom I was accompanying was facing trouble .Till kolkata it was tolerable to an extent but after kolkata the situation worsened and the same was brought to the notice of the crew member.Each ticket costed us 16000 bucks approx. and the whole flight was horrible. It is therefore requested to look into the matter as this may be harmful for the patients flying by.. Bimalendu Bhattacharjee Guwahati.

                          Sometimes facts are stranger than fiction why else would one ever think that IndiGo airlines would flounder and how...! my uncle and aunt travelling back to New Delhi from Hyderabad Flight 6E 564, departed from Hyderabad at 2150 hrs;arriving at Delhi Airport terminal 3 at 24.05 hrs had this most harrowing experience when to their dismay they found that the suitcase they had checked in had been ripped open, the lock and Indigo seal had been pulled off the zipper as the miscreant was unable to open the zip ;and their personal belongings were strewn all over the floor and all this after waiting for their baggage for over 45 min. The officer incharge who was informed of the debacle, took a few pictures of their suitcase and asked them to lodge a written complaint and mentioned in an austere tone that we would have to check all their belongings and note the missing items.He also stressed that this would be their final claim and they would not be able to add further claims of lost items. These senior citizens who had been on the move since 1800 hrs on 11/04/2015-waiting at Hyderabad airport, then waiting for the arrival of our baggage in damp clothes (due to rains that day); thereafter confronting the jolt of a damaged pilfered suitcase;and finally dealing with unsympathetic, callous with a couldn't care less attitude are still hoping for some act of fairness in this whole episode...

Then I had booked another ticket on 13 Apr 2015 for the same flight 6E 523 in defence Quota with confirmation I53TXF for 22 Apr 15.When I updated my account on 16 Apr 2015 I came to know that POS PRCH of Rs 2577.00/- have been deducted on 11 Apr 2015. Imdtly I called to your customer care executive on Mobile No [protected], CC executive had told me that ticket was not booked and the amount will be refunded to my account within 2 days.                               I had booked a ticket with Indigo a year ago for travel on the 23rd January 2015. I had then called the customer service team to rescheudle the dates of travel to the 25th January and also add an infant to the journey, they stated that the dates had been changed and all I had to do was to pay a difference of INR 8000 at least 24 hours prior to the travel date. I live in Dubai and I had come down for the holiday purpose, I tried to pay the 8k on the 24th January and to my disappointment I was notified at that time that the dates were not changed and I had missed my flight by then, I could not even utilize my return ticket as it was booked from a Jet airlines. I had no option left but return to Dubai. I then called the customer service team from Dubai repeatedly to give me a resoution on the issue, I requested them to listen to the conversation with the customer service executive in which I was promised the date change but did not receive any notification for 2-3 months. After being utterly disappointed I emailed my complaint to the consumer cell who now have replied saying that all they could do was give me a voucher for the ticket amount as they are unable to pull up the call recordings. I would request you to please take up the issue with Indigo airlines and get me a compensation for 1) My return tickets wasted by misleading information. 2) My time and ticket money wasted from travelling to Bangalore from Dubai. 3) My phone calls made from Dubai to Indigo airlines office with no resolution. 4) The hassle I have been going through for the last 4 months.

                                Forcing hand baggage into checked in baggage

                                Flight no 6E 166, PNR O4W7NV, seat no 4D; carrying only one bag; Total weight with laptop 9.4 kg, without laptop and iPad, 6.8 kg. Forced to release the bag as checked in. Surprisingly a lot many passengers who were not corporate passengers are carrying more than this on the same flight.                                 Sir/Madam On 06 Apr 2015 I had booked a ticket from Bangalore(8.20 am) to Hyderabad(9.25am) for 19 Apr15 for the flight 6E 356. After making payment, an amt of Rs 1824/- had been deducted from my account while paying through netbanking. 06-Apr[protected]Apr-2015) TO TRANSFER INB Indigo Airlines INDIGO_AIR Payments CSBI[protected]IG00VMFKM4 TRANSFER TO[protected] 1, 824.00 But ticket was not booked. When I called to your customer care number [protected], your cc executive had told me that ticket was not booked and the amount will be refundedto my account within 3 to 4 days. But the same has not been credited till date. Then I had booked another ticket for the flight 6E 262 with confirmation OD8WKK.                                   I was booking tickets for me and my daughter(KULDIP BISHT& MANSI BISHT) on line for air travel from patna to delhi. The flight no. was 6E 493 of Indigo airline on 30 Apr 15 . I continue completing booking steps upto transfer of Rs 4380 via net banking bearing reference no.CSBI[protected]G00VZPFI1 to transfer ID[protected]. but sooner I finished transfer due to some system error I could not complete booking process and could not get PNR no. Since I have already transfered fares and same has been deducted from my acconts. Can I get my money back to my account and how ?.What I should do to recover my money back. my email id is [protected]@gmail.com.
