High billing and leakage adjustment in bill

Address: Noida extension, Gautam Buddha Nagar

My IGL gas connection installed since 2019 and since then I am paying my bills timely. Suddenly in Aug 2024 I have received a bill from IGL for Rs. 10, 197/- as to my surprise I haven't used the gas so much. We escalated to IGL and upon thorough inspection and analysis by technician when they visited my home, he found and reported that there was a heavy Gas Leakage due to which Meter was running and recorded unexpected units.

There is no such meter installed at our house and we are also getting a cheap bill from them which is coming in our name and for this we have issue our regarding and cancel it completely in our name and we want reverse whatever we have paid so far.BP number [protected]

      I am Harendra Bhati residing at C-62 phi 4 ebony estate Greater Noida. I shifted here in the year 2019 with my family and at that time i contacted Indraprastha Gas Limited for a connection at my residence in there office situated in Kasna Greater Noida and paid an amount of Rs.6000 for the installation of the pipeline and still after 4 years there is no progress for the same.       igl connection was disconnected in the month of august'2023 but still i am getting the bills and gettings calls from igl to clear the payment whereas disconnection is not yet updated in the system that's why bills are being generated every month. Despite of my repeated request to your customer care, no action has been taken till today.

      Please do the needful immediately and confirm otherwise i will have to approached to the consumer court.

        inflated bills (business partner number: 4000950473)

        Since May 2023, I have been receiving Inflated gas bills and I also filed a complaint with the IGL customer care on 22nd of June, 2023 through mail. I also tried to seek help from IGL customer care verbally but couldn't receive any help from the concerned authorities. The mail regarding the complaint has been attached as a screenshot.

        Dear Sir, the meter has been installed before 1 year 6 months now the connection has been done on main pipeline, I called to your reprentative on contact no [protected] regarding to regulate the connection, he came and told to change the stove either from him on private cost or change the stove to connect the line. I have changed the stove and call back to him to connect the same, he said that I need to inform IGL customer care first they will forward the detail to him to connect the same. They want to earn money from consumers as far as I know they demand the private service from many consumers. please look into the matter to maintain IGL dignity.

          There is gas smell in the back lane of my house (E-4/146 Sector-7, Rohini, Delhi) since past 2 months, near the IGL pipelines. Due to 50 degrees weather in Delhi, it poses a great threat to the residential houses built near it.

            Disconnection and refund BP no 6100001620

            I requested for the IGL connection in Jan 23 and it took the IGL team over a year to come and initiate some work, even though the money was paid already.

            And when they started it took good 4-5 months to do the engineering marvel as attached.

            I have applied for reconnection of PNG gas pipeline. BP no is [protected], CA no is also generated 5 days ago. Customer care said after generating CA no within 1-2 day a person will come it's been 6 days nobody even contacted for the same.

            Now customer care is saying that it will take 45-90 days to install the connection. All set up and line are laid down in society they just need to install the meter and extend the line which will not take more than 1 hour. Provided Contact no people are disconnecting the phone or not picking it.
            Very pathetic services from IGL.

            Do we need to wait for the connection for 4 months. If that was the case it is good to go on Cylinder that is much easier to get the connection.

              In April, 2024, I had submitted an application duly filled in enclosed with cheque etc., for a new connection of IGL/PNG to be installed at 2nd Floor of House No.C1/6, Krishna Kutir, Shivpuri, Gali No.2, Modinagar against BP No.[protected] in the name of my son, Mr Bharat Sharma (Mobile No.[protected]) and submitted to IGL employee, namely, Mrs Rabia Begum (Mobile No. [protected].

              Despite repeated requests, the aforesaid connection is still pending for installation, creating unnecessary tension to a retired / senior citizen family.

                  For BP number [protected] incorrect bill is generated from last two times. request you to send someone at my flat take reading of the meter and correct my bill. Also adjust my extra paid money to the correct bill. how it is possible when gas was in use bill was 200-300 now without use and without taking reading from my meter you people are generating 1500 for a month. Correct my bill on high priority and regenerate the bill amount on my number

Because now in March 2024 the person who takes the reading came but I have not received the bill yet.
