Sunday 09/02/2020 we were on our way to lonavala from pune, when we came to the toll plaza on expressway (Talegaon toll plaza) i have paid 173/- by cash having trans. Id [protected] at 18:49:55
Also i have received the message on mobile
Dear customer, your fastag a/c has been debited for rs. 173 for transaction by vehicle ma3jmt81skm257971 at toll talegaon toll plaza on[protected] t 18:49:35.
Please refund my amount

    On dt.27/01/2020, time17:37 at khalapur toll plaza toll amount deducted from fasttag on my car mh12kj2177. Message also received to me immediately. And toll person allowed me to go in pune direction, but at exit plaza in pune side toll plaza person said that the deduction of toll not seen on his system so you should pay amount rs.176/-. So i again paid amount at exist toll plaza. It shows because of your system problem i has paid toll twice for single journey.

    ON sunday 09.02.20 i am travelling from Thane to Khopoli with my own vehicle at the Khalapur Toll Naka i have pay Rs. 173/- in cash for Khopoli Toll but at evening time i got the message that Khalapur Toll Naka they have deducted Rs. 173/- thru Fastag i have attached the Cash receipt which i had pay to cash counter NOw how i can refund my monely

      Saturday 01/02/2020 we were on our way to Lonavala from Pune, when we came to the toll plaza on Expressway (Talegaon Toll plaza) we were asked to go to the extreme right side which was for on coming traffic from Mumbai, when we went in to that lane the attendant asked for cash citing the reason that this is the oncoming lane and FASTAG cannot be used, we paid 230/- inspite of telling him that we wanted to go to Lonavala only, when we passed the toll we got a message that 173/- was also deducted from our FASTAG, this sort of thievery done by the toll plaza attendants is not correct.

      Now how do we get the refund for this and why is the staff not aware that money will get cut from the FASTAG or the do it on purpose and pocket that money conveniently.

        I was travelling on 30th jan 2020 to mumbai from pune.At talegaon toll taken Rs173 at 11.03p.m and at khalapur once again same amount get deducted instead of balance Rs57. SMS received on 00.53a.m of 31st Jan 2020.
        Request you to refund Rs116 immediately.

            I have traveled from gachibowli to rajendranagar on 29 th january 2020 around 7.30pm in the evening for which i guess toll charges is 20 rupees has to be charged, i have used the fasttag service and crossed the toll plaza, later when i checked my charges it is 60 rupees has been charged
            Please resolve my issue and refund the balance amount

              I was traveling to lonavala,
              I had fast tag installed in the car. At toll plaza i was told that fast tag is not working and pay cash. I paid cash rs. 173. Later i moved from toll plaza and within few minutes i received a message of rs. 173 deduction from fast tag acount.
              It was really disappointing. Please refund asap.

              This is regular incidents for this toll plaza and i have heard from many colleagues.

                Dear team,

                I was traveling with my family from Mumbai to Karjat yesterday.
                I recharged my Fastag and the money got smoothly deducted at Airoli toll naka.
                Inspite of having balance in the Fastag, two staff at Shedung Toll insisted to pay cash.
                When I told them that I have balance in my Fastag, one of the person got the laser scanner, scanned the Fastag scanner and then started asking for money.
                I showed them that I have balance on my idfc Fastag account but they were not ready to listen, one person stood infront of my car and the other one in hat started talking rudely, he kept demanding cash and said "tumko dimag nahin hai, gaadi peeche khadi kar do, nahin jaane dega".

                Its really disappointing, on the tool booth it was mentioned - No cash payment, I recharged my idfc Fastag but still I was forced to pay cash and had to face such rude and bullying staff.

                I am sharing the video of the 2 staff at the Shedung toll, both were bullying and the one with jacket and hat was super rude. He started bullying and threatening.

                I would request the toll management to take strict action against him. Please let me know if you need any further details.

                  Dear Sir,
                  Greetings!
                  We are in receipt of your email dtd: 24.01.20, regarding single Journey charged from Fastag for local in this context, we would like to clarify as under:
                  1. We are carrying out toll operations at aforesaid toll plaza as per Concession Agreement executed with ‘National Highways Authority of India’ (NHAI) and guidelines issued by NHAI form time to time.
                  2. As per Govt. Notification No.S.O.2424 (E), (copy enclosed for ready reference), there is no exemption for any person or vehicle except as provided in the said Notification.
                  3. It may be noted that vehicles with GJ05 registration are not exempted at Choryasi Toll Plaza as per said notification. However, there is provision of discounted Monthly Pass for local residents (residing nearby toll plaza) for their non-commercial vehicles subject to fulfilling the conditions mentioned therein.
                  4. To avail this facility on Fastag (i.e. registration of Fastag as Local Tag), vehicle user needs to submit proper documents viz, vehicle registration documents, proof of residence etc. at Toll Plaza Administration Office. After verification of documents and if documents are found in order, Fastag is registered under Local Tag by the Toll Plaza. This usually takes 2-3 working days after submission of documents.
                  5. Apart from registration of ‘Fastag as local tag’, we have no role in payment processing under Fastag as it is automated process and payment is processed as per said notification. It appears that proper details were not shared with you by the Fastag selling agency.
                  6. In case you are eligible for local monthly pass as per user fee notification, you are requested to visit Choryasi Toll Plaza with required documents.

                    I had been to Mumbai on 17th Jan 2020 and came back on 19th Jan 2020 to Pune. Both the time I have been asked to pay toll in Cash on Khalapur and Talegaon toll plaza. Today, I got to know that I have been also charged for Rs. 173 (Total Rs. 346.00) from Fast-tag account on both the days.

                    Attached are the photos of cash receipt as well as emails I have received for same.

                      While travelling from Mumbai to Surat on 17th Jan 2020 Cash Toll for Rs 65 at Charoti Toll plaza and Rs 70 at Bhagwada Toll plaza were paid on 17 Jan 2020. A few minutes later received SMS from Axisbank about recovery of the same amounts from my fastag account. the tag was in in a sealed cover in the car dashboard at that time.
                      Kindly refund the excess amount of 65+70=135 .

                      We are in receipt of your complaint on consumer complaints forum by an email dated: 20.01.20, regarding double payment o[censored]ser fee at Bhagwada & Charoti Toll plazas, on national highway # 48.

                      At the outset, we sincerely regret the inconvenience caused to you. We would hereby inform that the matter has been investigated by us & clarify as under :

                      1. We understand that, on incident day, you had requested for cash toll receipt and didn’t inform about having fastag to toll plaza staff, however a cash toll receipt was issued to you. Situation could have been avoided if the same had inform at toll booth before leaving the counter.
                      2. Please note that, as per the guidelines of NHAI, fastag has to affix on windshield of vehicle & it should not kept in loose.
                      3. Please also note that, deduction o[censored]ser fee through fastag account is an automated process and
                      toll plaza staffs do not have any role in it.
                      4. You are requested to follow up with fastag issuing bank / agency with copy of toll receipt to raise chargeback request for refund of excess payment. The same shall be credited to your fastag a/c. by bank.
                      5. Once again, we sincerely regret any inconvenience caused to the you and highly appreciate the feedback as it will help us to improve our services

                        Please note yesterday dt. 15.01/2020 passed khalapur to talegaon toll plaza by me 08.07am and asked collection person about fastag implementation. His directed me only some row are left side toward pune. Not fixed any type of boards to inform fastag lines, therefore i was gone through right side line and window person collected manually rs.230/- at khalapur and handed over me receipt. Same acted when i back by toll plaza talegaon paid rs. 230 around 3.30pm. I have both receipts. Thereafter evening i check my messages, found debit my paytm account rs.173 + rs.173 + rs.35/- for above transaction.
                        Request you kindly do the needful and revert my extra money.

                        I have FastTag on my car MH-46 AL 8935. On 11th Jan 09:10 AM money got deducted from my FastTag account but toll plaza guy told me it's not and he asked me to pay Rs 230 for toll which I paid.
                        So I have paid extra Rs 173. Please refund me the same.
                        Today morning; 13.01.2020, when i crossed pune mumbai tolls i was charged for 173 /- both at talegaon & at khalapur with 173/- (in place of 57/- at khalapur) by toll collector via my fastag with vehicle no. Mh-12-hl-4409.
                        Total charges for toll is 230/- they charged me with 346/-

                          On 15.01.2020, i have passed through kamrej, choryasi toll plaza. Local vehicles having registration at bardoli (Gj19) are enjoying exemption from payment of toll tax from many years. I never paid any toll charges at kamrej (Choryasi) toll plazza. However, rs.75 have been deducted from my fastag a/c. Kindly look into the matter and initial refund of the wrongly deducted amount.
                          If no exemption in toll for any body at kamrej, choryasi toll plazza then why not deduct any charges at my return journey.

                          We are in receipt of your email dtd: 16.1.20, regarding single Journey charged from Fastag for local in this context, we would like to clarify as under:
                          1. We are carrying out toll operations at aforesaid toll plaza as per Concession Agreement executed with ‘National Highways Authority of India’ (NHAI) and guidelines issued by NHAI form time to time.
                          2. As per Govt. Notification No.S.O.2424 (E), (copy enclosed for ready reference), there is no exemption for any person or vehicle except as provided in the said Notification.
                          3. It may be noted that vehicles with GJ19 registration are not exempted at Choryasi Toll Plaza as per said notification. However, there is provision of discounted Monthly Pass for local residents (residing nearby toll plaza) for their non-commercial vehicles subject to fulfilling the conditions mentioned therein.
                          4. To avail this facility on Fastag (i.e. registration of Fastag as Local Tag), vehicle user needs to submit proper documents viz, vehicle registration documents, proof of residence etc. at Toll Plaza Administration Office. After verification of documents and if documents are found in order, Fastag is registered under Local Tag by the Toll Plaza. This usually takes 2-3 working days after submission of documents.
                          5. Apart from registration of ‘Fastag as local tag’, we have no role in payment processing under Fastag as it is automated process and payment is processed as per said notification. It appears that proper details were not shared with you by the Fastag selling agency.
                          6. In case you are eligible for local monthly pass as per user fee notification, you are requested to visit Choryasi Toll Plaza with required documents.

                            Local four wheel vehicles are allowed freely at irb-choryasi toll plaza for surat city vehicles bearing registration gj05cl1996
                            Four wheel vehicles registered with surat rto with registration no. Gj05cl1996 are supposed to be allowed to pass freely at irb-choryasi toll plaza, and they are allowing. Now the problem is we are using fastag prepaid toll tax electronic tag. While passing from the above said local toll plaza it deducted toll tax of rupees 75.00 on 15/01/2020, which is injustice to the citizen using electronic fastag system. While leads us to additional tax burden, which is not to be paid by local vehicles of surat at above cited plaza.

                              My car mh12qf9376 was passed on[protected] at 8.06pm from talegaon to pune.
                              I have fastatg and on this toll i paid through fasttag 3 times before, but on[protected] i asked to pay by cash. Later after reaching at home i came to know that fastatg is also deducted money.
                              On[protected], on apporaching to toll management person, he was not ready to refund the money.

                                  While i was paying at the toll i gave him my debit card he said its not working so i gave him another debit card. Then he said its done. But afterwords when i checked. 230rs got deducted from both of my account.
                                  So i want my 230 rs refunded. I have attached the screenshot of my msg shoping debited so kindly mmake it refunded any how.

                                    Your fastag a/c has been debited for rs. 370 for transaction by vehicle makdg174fk4005839 at toll talegaon toll plaza on[protected]t20:48:05. Balance amount in the a/c is rs. 44 - hdfc bank ltd.

                                    Kindly arrange to refund the extra amount.

                                      At khalapur toll, i was told fast tag qr code is not working so please pay cash. Thus i paid cash 173/- at khalapur (Receipt no. 2947).

                                      After crossing talegoan toll i received a message on my rmn (Mobile) that your fast tag a/c has been debited for rs. 173/- for transation by vehicle ma3czf63skl606187 at toll talegaon toll plaza on[protected]t10:40:11.

                                      Thus i am charged rs 173/- extra when i was not supposed to be charged anything at talegaon toll.

                                      Will irb provide refund of this amount?

                                        Today 10.01.2019, i was going to pune. I paid manually rs. 230 at khalapur toll plaza (Receipt no. 7732 dated 10.01.2019, lane no. 99) as the representative at toll plaza told me that there is no fastag in the lane in which my vehicle (Mh46x2768) was moving. But at talegaon toll plaza the fasttag scanner deducted additional rs. 173. I told the representative at talegaon toll plaza that i have manually paid rs. 230/- at khalapur toll, then he told me that it is by default that the fastatg has deducted the amount and they can't refund the amount. Why should i pay additional rs. 173 as i have already paid rs. 230/- till pune. Please look into the matter.
