I booked a ticket of flight from Delhi to Kathmandu travel date[protected].
I reached the airport in morning 27 March 2022 that is yesterday itself. I was denied from boarding this flight, reason being, I didn't had my voter Id card with me physically at the airport yesterday, but I had my passport along with adhar card, pan card and driving licence.
My passport was valid till[protected], before booking the above flight with pnr - JTTZY, I called at the airport authorities ([protected]) on 14 March 2022 at 06:06 P. m. and asked for the same, stating that my passport is valid till[protected] and I want to travel to Kathmandu on 27 March 2022, can I travel there by flight, to which the representative replied yes. But, yesterday what happened was extremely opposite of that what was said by the airport authorities on phonetic conversation which was held on 14 March before booking this flight ticket.
I requested them to board on flight as my other verification id's were with me like passport, driving licence, adhar card, and pan card as well.
Due to this denial, I couldn't fly to Kathmandu yesterday.
The same has been reported to ixigo support executive and royal nepal airlines sales manager Delhi office.
I was told by the ixigo support executive that if airlines will refund the amount, then we'll refund the same to your respective account, and as told by the royal nepal airlines sales manager, they have no such flight which can't be refunded back to me, despite of the any reason respectfully.
I was going to travel for the very first time in flight, and yesterday was the worst day of my life experience, where I travelled from my city Malerkotla (punjab) to Delhi for boarding this flight and was extremely disappointed, mentally harassed and physically exhausted only and only due to ixigo application through which I booked my flight ticket.
I am so depressed now that I can't gather energy to book a flight ticket and think of travelling by air in life ever again.
Therefore I request you to kindly cancel my ticket and refund the amount to my bank account respectively.

Ixigo Customer Care's response Hi Gaurav, there was no issue with the ticket and it was completely valid to travel. Any travel-related information should be either reconfirmed with the airline or the booking portals. Since the boarding was denied due to absence of valid documents and the PNR is no show, refund is not applicable as per airline rules. Any unused taxes will be refunded if any applicable. We regret any inconvenience caused.
